Best cheessteak and hoagies in town. Owner is nice and will greet you as you enter. In my opinion the best cheessteaks outside of philly. Worth the price you pay. I always get the larger version. Highly recommend for anyone looking for theses sandwiches. Small indoor and outdoor done in area but since many people order for takeout is never been an issue finding a seat.

Philly's Cheesesteaks and Hoagies serves one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever tried. This sandwich is addictive with soft bread, flavorful chopped steak, and melty cheese. The addition of hot peppers, bell peppers, mushrooms and sautéed onions made the sandwich that much better and flavorful. The extra kick of the hot peppers is a must for anyone who likes to add a little spice to their food and the mushrooms were large, tender and buttery. This is the type of place I would visit frequently if I lived in the Pensacola area and is a must try for locals and cheesesteak lovers.

EXCELLENT authentic Philly Cheesesteaks! The owner is from Philly and imports his ingredients from there so you know it's the real deal, just here in the south. A bit pricey, but you can't get this kind of flavor anywhere near here. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I remember when this place first opened, I was in elementary school at scenic heights and one of the sons of the business had some of the same classes as me - actually kindergarten, super friendly guy. anyways I've been eating here since then and moved out toward the equestrian center and now dine in at the 9 mile local. I really miss when they carried canned sodas only, made it feel much more homie. I normally get the cheesesteak bomb w hot peppers and onions and it's the best ever.! so ooey gooey chewy melty goodness. the bread is perf. I think they carry boars head meats/cheeses which is why the quality is so high. I recently went to Philly last year in sept and had the pats/genos and boy did I miss Phillys of Pensacola lol. maybe bc pats and genos cut their meat by hand it was thicker than what I'm use to and maybe that's how they've always done it.. but I love Phillys thin sliced super flavorful beef, just superb. HIGHLY RECOMMEND dine in or to-go

If you miss the hoagies from Philly, this is the place. Amoroso's rolls, Boar's Head meats, prepared just how you like it right in front ouf you. The Old World is out of this world. The only thing I would add is the availability of Herr's chips. I'll try the cheesesteak next time.

Philly's is the real deal. I eat there at least once a week. If you don't feel like a cheesesteak, go for the old world Italian. You can't go wrong!

Excellent Philly cheesesteak on great bread. 12 inch steak, fries and a drink for under $10.

This was a scrumptious philly cheese steak. It was $9 so the $$$ is wrong. Should be $. I got mine with mushrooms and onions. Yum yum yum. The bread was soft and white, the cheese was perfectly melted.

I love this place. I used to work at the publix next door and would regularly go here for lunch. The cold cuts are fantastic, especially since they use premium boars head meats. But their cheesesteaks... oh my god. Heaven on a hoagie roll! Its really awesome to see a shop still cooking everything they can fresh to order! My personal favorite was the cheesesteak bomb, which is a philly with salami added. It gives it a nice extra kick! I always got it with sautéed onions and hot peppers with it. Those along with perfectly cooked crispy french fries and a canolli for desert, you cant beat it! This place is also the only place south of the mason dixon line to carry Pennsylvania Dutch birtch beer! If you havent tried this, you havent lived. My only problem was it always felt like nap time when going back to work! I wish this restaurant was a chain, that way I could continue having them for lunch much further south here in Jensen Beach, fl.

It's better than no steak & cheese! I've spent too much time in Phila to appreciate steak & cheese offerings anywhere else. Oh well, It is what it is.

Delicious Philly cheesesteaks!! When the neighboring Italian restaurant, Pietrelli's, was overflowing with no room to stand but in front of other diners, hunger got the best of us. We ventured a couple of doors down and were we ever glad we did! Tried the cheesesteak, the buffalo chicken and the hamburger hoagie. All perfectly prepared. Would definitely eat there again if we pass through.

This place is fab-dab. Scrumptious Philly cheese steak and sandwiches. I enjoyed a the sausage sandwich and there are plenty of other choices on the menu if you're not here for PA's famous meat-wich. The marinara sauce is where the real magic happens, super delicious. I liked the option of adding some "heat" to my meal. Best of all, you can wash it down with real Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer-- which is getting hard to find even in PA!!! Priced so right and very good you can expect to wait if you come for lunch.

This is a great place for lunch. Locally owned and operated, it is a fresh change for chain food places. You can eat under $10 per person, unless you are me! The food is great, tender and flavorful. Staff is courteous and full of "brotherly love." You gotta try the cheese steak bomb. The salami adds a great touch.

I seriously don't understand how there are still businesses that don't accept credit card.

Awesome authentic Philly cheesesteaks! My family is from Philly and I've had the real thing at Pats. After searching elsewhere for years, I've found the real thing outside Philly... Philly's in Pensacola. He does it right and he should know after making them right all his life. Don't pass up this place if you want a real cheesesteak or hoagie with the Philly feel.

Great place to get a Philly! The place has a nice menu selection also, I love the options. Don't hesitate to go, but bring cash because they don't take card.

This was a good little place to enjoy a Philly cheese steak. The owner was in house the night we stopped in, but it did not help. the service was a little slow. Food was really great!!!!

Hands down best Philly Sandwiches in P-Cola (both locations) you might have to wait sometimes but well worth it. Bring cash. Update: I got the Old World Italian sub. I have always been a Publix sub person till now. The Old World Italian is AMAZING. Made with Boars Head meats and one full sub is enough for two people. Staff is always friendly and place is always clean.

This is a 2nd location from the original on Creighton. Nice and clean in a strip mall. My Cheesesteak Hoagie was delicious. Make sure to add 2 toppings for free. I personally think the cheesesteaks at Malibu Lounge is better but this place is pretty good too and closer to where I live.
