Mission accomplished! I can finally say I've been to Ruth's Chris! I've been eyeing this establishment for maybe 8 years. Thanks to Yelp and specifically my shiny Elite badge I was afforded the opportunity to hang out with my favorite Eliter's and enjoy some savory bites at this awesome location. This location is gorgeous, the exterior is well maintained and the interior is so romantic. The dimly lit rooms threw me a little bit coming in from the bright outdoors but I adjusted pretty quickly. The temperature is just right and its a very relaxing atmosphere. As usual our Elite events are filled with tasty bites, savory drinks, education and a contest or two. The staff at RC's gave us a brief history on the company and how far its come. I was happy to learn Ms. Ruth was a bit of a feminist and total bad girl. The company is rich in history and tradition keeping several of their signature dishes the same as when they first started. Tonight's bites featured RC's artisanal cheese & fruit display, Mediterranean roasted veggies, rosemary shrimp skewers, beef empanadas, tenderloin skewers, chipotle chicken tostadas, and tomato & mozzarella skewers. If that stuff wasn't amazing enough they provided mini cheesecake and chocolate sin cake. OMG, I also had the Berry Mule w/ Finlandia Vodka and Whiskey Sour (ah-ma-zing)!! I don't even think I could pick a favorite dish of the night because everything exceeded my expectations especially with this being my first time. Annnnnnnd then if that wasn't the best night ever I was blessed enough to win the hashtag contest and I received a $50 gift card to come back to Ruth's and really try out the menu. Steak here I come!! I'm so excited I can't even deal. THEN, to top it off Eliter's received the Yelp adorned emergency phone chargers!!! Ahhhh, I've been dying to get my hands on one. My phone is always dying at our events so I'm super stoked about tonight. This was awesome! Thanks Ruth's, thanks Yelp, and thanks Andi!

I'll keep this one simple and to the point; Best steak I've ever had. It came out hot, juicy, tender and spiced just right. I'm willing to bet they use a double broiler to cook their steaks (both sides at the same time). Mashed potatoes are pretty darn good too. Great service by our wonderful waitress Michelle! The only thing negative would be the manager and the valet guy. They might be related because they both avoided us like the plague. We were 2 feet from both of them and they did not acknowledge us. It would have been nice (and proper) to get a greeting. Seems like their smartphones are more important than their paying customers.

Ruth's Chris is not only hard to understand the name (is it Ruth's Chris? Does that even make sense? Does Ruth own Chris? Who is Chris?), but it's a stuffy, overpriced, snooty, broiled meat steakhouse chain. The only reason they are getting a third star, versus a 2 star rating is due to their happy hour. Happy hour is every day in the bar area where they have some craft cocktails and wine for $6-$8. They have a prime beef burger and fries for $6, tuna sashimi for $6, and a filet sandwich for $6. You really can't beat good quality beef and fish for that price in an upscale environment. Be prepared to be surrounded by geriatric men in blue sport coats with gold buttons, accompanied by their equally strangely dressed wives, with gaudy jewelry, and too much makeup. It's the same environment and people no matter what location you go to, in any city. If I didn't still have $50 left on a gift card, I wouldn't go back, but I do, so happy hour, here I come.

First time dining here last night. It was a company dinner, a table of 5 @ 7PM. Complimentary parking was nice & smooth. Very helpful since there was no parking and the nearest parking was on the other side of the plaza at the CVS. I had the soup of the day which was Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo, Chef's signature dish Surf & Turf (12 oz Ribeye & 2 Lobster Tails), shared asparagus & mushrooms with the table, cheesecake and coffee. We also all shared a bottle of Merlot off the special price list. All of the food came out very quick, yet on time not overlapping dishes and/or rushing us. One of the main dishes melted butter had dripped completely out of the cup onto the plate, but the server was very quick to re-plate the dish. I recommend all of the dishes I had. If anything, the Surf & Turf was a bit much in amount, but I am looking forward to my steak lunch today :) The price was right around $100 a person for us. Location & Name, you can't expect any less. I would definitely go again, maybe a date night. Although the dining room is quite noisy, the ambiance is very elegant and perfect for a special occasion. I did spot a couple of families with their young children and it seemed perfectly fine.

Three Courses for $33 - You heard me RIGHT - it's that time of the year where you get to indulge your inner gourmet with an appetizer, entrée and dessert at some of the best restaurants Orlando has to offer and best of all without breaking a bank. I have, and still am, a staunch advocate of Magical Dining since I first moved to Orlando. Why? Visit Orlando gives me the opportunity to explore new restaurants to add to my ever-growing dining repertoire from the finest chefs Orlando culinary scene has to offer for a steal of a price. So get out your cocktail dresses and pearls ladies, it's time....time to PARTYY!! Recently for a sneak preview of #magicaldining I had the privilege of dining at Ruth's Chris Steak House with few of my favorite Yelp Elites, Mr. Mark Jaronski, VP of Global Publicity, and Mr. David Sibila Editorial Content Manager, Leisure & Trade for Visit Orlando. Located in the prestigious 'Restaurant Row", Ruth's Chris Steakhouse sets an ideal ambiance for a fine dining experience from the moment you step out of your vehicle. Complimentary Valet (mind you, parking is a nightmare in restaurant row), opulent yet warm and elegant atmosphere surrounded with rich wood panels and tuxedo dressed staff. It is romantic and stately, the kind of place I would love to celebrate a memorable occasion or simply walk in cause I was craving the buttery deliciousness of their perfectly sizzling signature steaks. For my appetizer course I chose the soup of the day which happened to be Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Delicately spiced with generous portions of sausage and chicken, I licked the whole bowl clean. Did I mention I LOVE steak? A beautiful 6 oz filet, tender, corn-fed Midwestern beef cooked to my liking. Served with family style roasted garlic mashed potatoes or creamed spinach, are you drooling yet? Butter, yes butter is the 'secret' ingredient here and I couldn't get enough of it. By now I was completely stuffed, one bite of the caramelized Crème Brûlée accompanied by a crinkle cookie and rhubarb compote was all it took to convince me that I abhor food wastage...right (wink, wink)? And I must finish my decadent dessert. Oh my! I had to refrain myself from squealing with delight. So whether you are scouting around for your next business dinner, or you have an occasion to celebrate, or simply because you are in a mood to try something new. Visit Orlando gives you an irrefutable choice of extending your gourmand wings with a Three Course Dinner for only $33. So come on people, do yourself a favor and check out the extensive listing and make your Reservation!!

Try the steak sandwich and burger at happy hour, they are delicious. The Cowboy Ribeye is the best thing on the menu! Try ordering off menu, the sweet potato with vanilla ice cream on top is great. It's what Ruth's Chris servers around the country eat after hours.

I love this place. The food. The ambiance. Everything is incredible. The first time I went here I was blown away by everything. The service was impeccable and the food was to die for. My first visit was more of a seafood night. I had the crabcakes and a salmon dish. Both things were cooked to perfection. I actually rate other crabcakes to the Ruth's Chris crabcake. No one has measured up! My second visit trumped the first. I had a rib-eye.. best steak I've ever had in my life!! I'm usually a well done filet type of steak guy, but they did an amazing job with this rib-eye. I will be back soon.. I highly recommend.

There are three Ruth's Chris in Orlando and I thought they would all be the same but they definitely are not. The food is excellent at all three and the service is amazing at all of them as well, but the overall layout is a little different depending on where you go. If you want the ultimate romantic evening, you have to go to Lake Mary because of their little booths. If you want a good business meeting location, Winter Park is excellent. And if you want a blend of the two consider Sand Lake.

Having been to many Ruth's Chris across the country, I continue to be a fan of their steaks. We dined here specifically for the Surf & Turf special. I was in the mood to order the whole Lobster but they did not have any left, which was a bummer. My wife ordered the Filet & Lobster and I had the Ribeye & Lobster. Both our cuts were cooked the way we requested and the flavor was spot on. The special consists of 2 Cold Water Lobster Tails and your choice of Filet or Ribeye for about $50.00 which is worth it considering you are getting good quality meat. The service was good. It was my wife's birthday and the staff greeted her and wished her a happy birthday. At the end of our meal, she received a dessert on the house which was very much appreciated. They also took a picture and gave it to us in the Ruth Chris paper frame. I was a bit surprised that the restaurant was empty but with so much competition on Sand Lake, I can see why.

If you want the great food without the high price, come to happy hour. Limited menu without the high price.. The steak burger is excellent. The seared tuna was awesome and a great value. The burgers were cooked to our liking and excellent. The lobster ifs good but not a full meal.

My husband and I loved this place! Our server was great and so were his assistance! The steaks were great and well worth the price! The restaurant is dark but it's not difficult to read the menu or see your food. I wear glasses and had no problem. Will definitive go back.

Two words: overrated and disappointing. Just don't get the appeal of this place. Very expensive, which I don't mind if the food and atmosphere are worth it but it is so not here. We had the following dishes: Calamari Caesar salad Petite filet Crab cakes Asparagus Potatoes Au gratin The only dish that was really good was the calamari. The crab cakes were bland and dry. The asparagus was bland and the hollandaise sauce had no flavor to it. The potatoes were just not to my liking (texture wasn't great and the cheese sauce did not taste good to me). Ruth's Chris is known for their steaks. My wife, who loves steak, said it was very average. They make a big deal about how they do very little to the steak, but it may need more. Nothing special about it. And for the reputation and price range, we were incredibly disappointed. There is literally no reason I would ever go to a Ruth's Chris again. Even if the food were a quarter of the price, I wouldn't eat there. If I want to splurge and spend a lot on food, there are so many better places to go - one of which being MoonFish (right next door). If I want really good food, I can go to hundreds of other places. If you want to feel cool and like you're wealthy and that's all you care about, then feel free to go to Ruth's Chris. If you care about the quality of food and value for the price, you, like me, will never go to a Ruth's Chris again.

My first time and it was great. We had an appetizer that was never rung in and their was something in chewable in my soup, but our server Kenny made up for it with over the top service. The rest of the food was outstanding, cocktails were unique and delicious. They even surprised us with a picture of us in a frame that Kenny took when desserts came out for my wife's birthday. I highly recommend Ruth's Chris and look forward to coming back and asking for Kenny!

Was vacationing in Orlando. Decided to come here to celebrate my boyfriend's belated birthday. We made reservations online same day. We were seated promptly upon arriving. James was our server. He did a great job on checking in on us making sure we had everything we needed. We started with the crab cakes. Best crab cakes I've ever had! They were served on a hot sizzling plate. My boyfriend got the New York strip, I ordered the petite filet (also was served on a hot sizzling plate); we shared a side plate of mashed potatoes and asparagus. I also ordered a cocktail drink with gin and cucumbers, also great! They even had a dessert for my boyfriend and took a picture of us. Overall a great experience from beginning to end! This place is a must! Steaks are delicious, great staff!

I highly recommend this place! Great appetizers and wine to start. Then my husband and I both ordered a filet and potatoes for our main course. It was the best filet we have ever ate. They have amazing desserts and coffee too. Cheesecake is my favorite! Free valet parking.

Amazing steak, amazing service, quite pricey. Happy Hour is super popular and affordable though. Save this for your special nights out for the full dinner.... otherwise, I think you will see me a lot for happy hour!

First off let me start by saying this steak house is expensive, but for the service, the ambience, and flavorful steaks it is well worth it! This is the perfect steak house to celebrate a special occasion. I proposed to my girlfriend here and everything went perfect. We first started by ordering some crab cakes which were fresh, hot, and delicious. I had the ribeye with asparagus and a lobster tail. First the steak. It was juicy and tender. The steak was also seasoned perfectly. I asked for medium well and the waitress waited to make sure there was only pink in the center before she left. The asparagus were fresh and flavorful. They were served with a caramelized glaze that balanced the flavor perfectly. My girlfriend had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and a lobster tail. Her steak was also tender, juicy, and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were also amazing. Our entire meal with a couple glasses of wine each came up to about $220 including tip. Like I said it's expensive, but if you're looking for a memorable night, great service, and the best tasting steaks it is well worth it! Longhorns steakhouse is the next best option for a flavorful steak, but Ruth's Chris steakhouse takes it to another level!

Went with another couple on 4/3/15. Had been there for dinner before and thought it was overpriced for what you get (not that it was bad, it just wasn't THAT good to me.) Anyway, went for happy hour and the Sizzle, Swizzle and whatever. Decided on the steak sandwich (sliced filet on a garlic toasted french bread). Served with fries, which, although lukewarm, were tasty. You have a choice of Bernaise on the sandwich or on the side. Opted for on the sandwich but after the first bite decided it needed MORE Bernaise, which I ordered immediately. Had to wait quite a while for that so I nibbled at the sandwich to make sure I had some left. It finally showed up and I ended up sharing it with two others in our party, who also enjoyed it immensely. Next time I think I'll ask for some cheese on the sandwich as well. All in all, I will go back again because It was delicious. The margarita (not on the special menu) was awesome straight up. I totally recommend Ruth Chris' happy hour!

Very nice atmosphere. Excellent service and very good but expensive food. They have a menu that includes an entre, main dish, side dish and dessert. I think this is the best option. Little side dishes, or drinks add up pretty fast.

We popped into the Ruth's Chris Bar after finding our original destination closed for a private function. Since we were on this side of town, had parking and no reservation anywhere, we were thrilled to grab the last two seats at the crowded Ruth's Chris bar. Hubby and I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna to share and he ordered the Prime Burger while I snacked on the Spicy Lobster. All were delicious. The Ahi was delicious, great quality with a nice spice crust and zippy sauce. The prime burger was very juicy, cooked well and came out very quickly. The bartenders were wonderful, very personable and kept tabs on your progress while making recommendations. Great guys and they mix a nice drink. I enjoyed the service and ambiance much more here than the Winter Park location. We'll be sure to swing by again. Happy Hour: Sizzle, Swizzle & swirl! $7 food and drink until 7:00!! As far as steak goes, Ruth's Chris Steak House is definitely the way to go. Ever since I was younger, I have heard rumors swirling about how delicious Ruth's Chris is, but for some reason I had never been invited to a dinner party or special event that would give me the opportunity to go. And then a few weeks ago my partner in crime and I realized that Ruth's Chris is a part of this year's Magical Dining options. So, not only did I finally get to experience steak perfection, I also got to enjoy it for about $33 for a three course meal. Although the Magical Dining menu does limit the selections you get to choose from while dining at any of the participating restaurants, I have to say that we were still able to enjoy a varied meal including a salad, petit filet mignon with 1 side, and a cheesecake dessert. The service we experienced while dining that night was second to none--our waiter even explained the science behind warming the plates the steak is served upon to extremely high temperatures, that way every bite of steak you take is just as warm as the first. Personally, I believe this method is ingenius and should be embraced by other steakhouses as well. Additionally, the amount of food we indulged in, even though it was a three course meal, was really the perfect amount. We were both able to eat everything (even the dessert) without having that overly full feeling. I am looking forward to going back to Ruth's Chris sometime soon for either a birthday or anniversary celebration, and perhaps even getting to sample a few different sides or choose a differently seasoned steak from the menu.

Came here for happy hour and can't wait to visit again. The food was wonderful and the cocktail was very refreshing! I first ordered the ahi tuna. The tuna was fresh and seared perfect. The ginger cucumber salad on the side was fantastic. I then ordered the steak sandwich. Ordered it medium rare and was perfectly cooked. The bearnaise sauce was wonderful, rich and yummy! Lastly i ordered the crab BLT sandwich with zucchini fries. Wow the zucchini fries were crispy and had so much flavor. The sandwich was also fantastic, very meaty and the bread was nicely grilled. For my cocktail I had the blueberry mojito. It was so good, had two. Great service, fantastic food, and the price can't be beat. All 7 dollars each.

I know there are a lot of fans of this chain, but I have to say...I'm not impressed. I've been to a lot of top steakhouses and expected Ruth's Chris to be just as impressive, considering how people rave about it. To me, though, it wasn't anything special at all. I'll start with what I enjoyed: The caesar salad was really delicious. It was crisp, not overly dressed, and had a bright flavor to it that made it taste slightly of lemon. It was great. I also appreciated the excellent service and the fact that when our server heard my boyfriend was celebrating a graduation, he brought out a beautiful dessert without even being asked. My steak was also tasty, so there's another plus. As far as what I didn't like, I didn't think the side dishes were anything special at all. Since nothing is included with the steak, I would think that the side dishes you have to pay separately for would be great. They really weren't. The potatoes didn't have a ton of flavor to them, and neither did the spinach au gratin. The mushrooms were so-so. Also, I wasn't a huge fan of the fact that my steak came out in a puddle of sizzling grease. I had to use two separate plates just so that I didn't drown my side dishes in sizzling butter. I understand that the steak has butter on it. I'm okay with the calories. Just don't serve it to me drowning in butter. Finally, two out of five of the steaks at our table were way underdone and had to be sent back. I expected more than that.

My Orlando Steak House rankings: 1st: Ruth's Chris 2nd: Morton's 3rd: Capitol Grill 4th: Fleming's 5th: Vito's Ruth's Chris is PERFECT. They have the best steak, salmon, sides, cocktails, and service. My wife and I always sit in the bar, if we're lucky then Taryn is working and she takes great care of us.

Review for Happy Hour only. The filet steak sandwich with fries - yummy goodness! Toasted roll, bearnaise sauce, steak done per your request, and you can ask for a free loaf of warm bread with a full scoop of butter. Very good for $7.

I am not a fan of dining out on holidays but when my parents came to town and my mom didn't want to cook a turkey dinner I wasn't about to volunteer. She was the one who picked out the restaurant for the occasion. When we arrived it was definitely busy and we had to wait a bit even though we had a reservation. When we finally sat down we knew we were in for a treat when our waiter Vicenzo came to take care of us. He was so welcoming and nice to talk to. We chose to do the turkey dinner special featured that evening. You could pick a salad or soup as you appetizer, turkey with your choice of side (mashed potatoes, sweet potato, green bean casserole, etc.) and lastly the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. It was amazing, especially the pumpkin cheesecake with the vanilla Haagen Daz ice cream. My father said he refused to have turkey at Ruth Chris so he ordered a steak which he really enjoyed. At the end of the meal when I could no longer eat anymore I asked Vicenzo for a to-go box and not only did he bring me box, he let us know we would get a whole other portion to take home with us. Well at that point I was so amazed by our whole experience we decided to come back for Christmas! Unfortunately Vincenzo wasn't there that night, but we did have another fantastic waiter and we had just as much fun as our Thanksgiving dinner. The warm bread pudding was to die for!!! You can't go wrong with this Ruth Chris, it is now our official holiday meal restaurant!

The location, atmosphere, and staff are all great. The food is always great at any Ruth's Chris, and this location doesn't disappoint. Perfect dirty martini's and rare steak's every time. Never disappoints, and is certainly a world above the standard Orlando options.

We decided to go out for a nice dinner while we were in Orlando, and when my husband heard that Ruth's Chris had availability on opentable.com , he decided that he needed steak. The place was very nice for a chain steakhouse, infinitely nicer than Flemings, more on par with Mastro's. Service was wonderful. My husband took charge of ordering the wine, so I cannot comment, but we had a lovely Bordeaux. They have a great deal, where for $49.95, you get a salad, an entree, a side, and key lime cheesecake. As both filet and rib eye were options for the entree, we both decided to go with that deal. My husband tried the Caesar salad, which he liked. I had the strawberry bleu cheese salad and enjoyed it. The steaks were phenomenal, as was the small lobster tail that came with my filet. Everything was cooked perfectly. Dessert was totally fine, but who cares about dessert after a perfectly cooked steak? In Tampa, we have Bern's, and I'd prefer to avoid a chain steakhouse, but I'd happily return to Ruth's Chris if I'm out of Tampa and want a quality steak.

Okay, so it's a chain. They still have one of the best dang steaks I've ever tried. Perhaps it's that 1/4 thick, sizzling butter bath that all the steaks are served in. Who cares? This place smells like calories and I LOVE IT! The servers here are fantastic. They know the fine line between being attentive and being annoying. Every time I come here, they make fantastic recommendations, whether with an appetizer or a wine selection. Now on to the steak. It's always cooked perfectly, and always tastes phenomenal. I usually order the petite filet, because, well, I can't really consume a large portion of meat. Besides, I leave all the room for the potatoes au gratin, which are - by the way - HEAVENLY! Those potatoes are on my list for last meal on Earth. No meat, no dessert, no nothing... just those delicious potatoes covered in butter, cream, and cheese. Need I say more? The complimentary valet parking is a bonus when the plaza is busy, but nothing to worry about if you are heading here on a weekday or early dinner. I also like that I can show up dressed super casually, and people don't look at me like some kind of hobo. Always a nice thing. I will continue to come to Ruth's Chris for all special occasions, or just when I feel like eating my weight in cheesy potatoes.

Slightly disappointed. Our salads were incredible and the ahi appetizer was fantastic. The meat was good... I had a filet and my husband had the 16 ounce ribeye and they both were smothered in butter, salt and pepper. The sides were just ok--- mashed and loaded potatoes, creamed spinach and broccoli. Too much meat and our waiter seemed disappointed with the size or cuts we ordered. Couldn't figure him out. The service was not amazing. I would love to eat at an establishment where I'm paying $50 for my steak alone and not have the waiter or busboy try and clear the table before everyone is finished. We had to tell them to wait until everyone was done. When did that courtesy disappear at an expensive restaurant? Wine list limited but this is what we get for going to a national chain. I'm not really inspired to return. Get the chopped salad for sure and the smallest cuts of meat.

Yet another restaurant row steakhouse. The way the dining room is divided up into smaller spaces makes this a somewhat more pleasant environment than Flemings and Mortons, but it otherwise is very similar. A good choice for business dinners after a convention but locals might be better off to head up to Christner's (del Frisco) for a local--and better--steak.

I must say this has to be one of the top 5 best steaks I have ever eaten. Was here during a recent business trip and the company I am with had a dinner party here. Have to love eating this kind of meal on the company tab! The place itself has that old-school decor of dark woods and heavy tables and chairs. Waiters dressed up in white collared shirts and ties. Everyone munching down on steaks and drinking wine. Sinatra was playing softly in the backround. The testosterone oozes here! We had reserved the side party room that easily fit about 25 of us. The wine was flowing freely and my glass was never empty. I must say the service is impeccable here. Whatever we needed came quickly. We started with a steak house salad with balsamic dressing which was fresh and tasty. Main course was the Filet which was described as "the most tender cut of corn-fed Midwestern beef, broiled to perfection". OMG - they were not kidding. Mouth watering, moist, flavorful with an amazing char on the edges. I did not even use any steak sauce on this filet as it was that good by itself. I honestly could have eaten another one! I really did want another one badly! Sides were mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Both were a great fit to this meal. For dessert I had the Chocolate Sin Cake. It was so good I think I just added to all my sins eating it. Rich, dense, smooth, decadent. Like a heavy mouse chocolate brownie cake. I almost could not finish it - almost. This had to be one of the best overall meals I have had in a while. Would go back here in a heartbeat if I have the chance again next time in Orlando. On the company tab of course!

Comparing this to other visits to a Ruth's, and competitor steak places this was an average experience. Not worth the cost given the food, service and overall experience. There's better for sure in Orlando and better Ruth locations. Greeting, service, and overall experience with staff was just "ok". Not rude, but not more than passably efficient and passably friendly. Felt so much more like a "go out to eat" experience rather than a "dining" experience which is what they're known for and frankly, you're paying for. Food fine (good starter Caeser salad, au Gratin potatoes, and the steaks were good). Hot bread is tasty but not special and again, given this is supposed to be a really nice place..meh. If you're wanting to go to a good steak place, try Christner's (formerly Del Frisco), or the Ruth's in Lake Mary.

I went to Ruth Chris for the first time last weekend for a friend's birthday gathering. We made reservation so we didn't have to wait to be seated. Once seated and order placed, it took them a bit long to bring us our food, which is okay with me, considering its a busy saturday night. However, I felt our waiter could've been a bit more attentive to us considering its Ruth Chris, an upscale restaurant. While we were waiting, we asked for more bread and drink refills and it took him quite long, its as though he forgot about us. We had to ask other waiters about him before we got our refills. I ordered the filet with lobster tail and it was delicious. My filet was medium rare and it turned out nicely tender, soft, and juicy. Overall, I was pleased with the food but not so pleased with the service. I feel an upscale restaurant like Ruth Chris should provide outstanding service. I've been to Morton's and their waiters were very attentive, so it was a bit disappointing going to Ruth Chris.

Gosh..where do I find words to describeee.. January 2012 was the first time I've been to Ruth's Chris. I had an amazing experience here. The inside is lovely..very elegant and not too loud compared to other restaurants. The side portions are HUGE so I'd reccomend sharing with 2-3 people. The Au Gratin was absolutely huge...when I went to order just myself one the waiter said it will really serve 3-4 people...and so it did. I ordered the stuffed chicken, asparagas, and au gratin. First of all the stuffed chicken was so tender and juicy....not to mention absolutely huge. The chicken came on a burning hot plate, so don't touch lol. The food coming out on the hot plates made such a difference because throughout my whole meal my food was very hot. The asparagas was very fresh and the au gratin was so delicious with all the melty cheese on top. Other members in my family ordered a side of mushrooms and the filet's. The filet was so juicy and tender! I could have eaten everything here. Ruth's Chris is a great place to come on an anniversary, birthday, or just whenever. I'd definitely reccomend this to anyone!

Went here for magical dining experience have been to other locations. Compared to other similar restaurants on the plan this one was a disappointment.the selection was very limited and the steak itself was average. My husband thought the dining room reminded him of a cruise ship which isn't a good thing

Best steak in Orlando (back when I ate it), all sides were fantastic. They warmly recognize birthdays/anniversaries. I wish it were not in a strip mall on SLR and the interior while "nice" isn't exactly cozy or remarkable.

Beware, private diners! I had a private dining event here and from the moment we walked in, things were horrible. The manager, chad, was rude and unhelpful when we needed a few more seats. There were 24 people in the party, yet we did not have our own server. It took over 20 minutes to get drinks ordered, between him trying to help his other tables in the main dining room. Refills were out of the question and I had go to the bar several time to get my guests more to drink. The server was very inattentive and disrespectful to the guests. To make matters worse, when I asked if we had our own server, chad proceeded to yell at me in the middle of restaurant. It was seriously surreal. I do private dining events several times a month at several different venues, with this being my first visit to Ruth Chris. I have never been so disrespected and felt so belittled. Obviously, I do not plan on returning.

Ruth's Chris can be hit or miss - this one was pretty good. We eat at the bar and usually split a meal. The service was good as was all the food. I would recommend this location. As good as it is I think they are a little over priced.

I would usually give Ruth's Chris 5 stars however, I was extremely disappointed with my last visit there. My family and I have been going to Ruth's Chris for years and years and never experienced service like this. Of all the restaurants to choose from in Orlando, I chose to go to Ruth's Chris for my 30th birthday dinner as it was my favorite steak house. Upon walking in, a man who seemed as though he was the manager told my Mom that she could not have her water bottle in there (my Mom drinks a special water that she brings with her everywhere and has never been bothered about it). She was polite and tucked it in her purse like he asked. He was not very friendly and it was certainly not a nice way to be greeted. Our server, Vincent, seemed to be in a cranky mood and pretty much argued with us when we asked for things a certain way and when my brother told him that specific ingredients had gluten in them. He seemed as though he just wanted to go home. My Mom and I were given the wrong steaks (they switched the cooking temperatures), the asparagus we ordered was not brought out and instead a potato dish that we did not order. When the asparagus was brought out, it was very mushy and we did not eat it. I will give them credit in comping the asparagus and potato dishes. My Mom specifically asked for all of the food on her plate to be boxed and, he just gave her the steak and none of the sides that were on her plate. When I asked if I could substitute one of the desserts on the birthday dessert platter because it had gluten, a flat out no was the answer. Then they started cleaning and locked the doors while we were still enjoying our desserts and coffee. This is certainly not a way to treat customers who spend several hundred dollars for a meal at your restaurant. It is not a way to treat any customers at all. We had not been to this Ruth's Chris in a little while and after this experience, unfortunately, we will not be going back again.

We had a great time here. Signature Ruth's Chris. Excellent service. Really. The entire staff was just great. Stopped here on vacation to get a consistently great steak and we weren't disappointed. Wife's filet was excellent and so was my New York Strip. The kids steaks came out too rare then too well but they staff kept trying until they were perfect.

Great happy hour menu - everything is pretty much 1/2 off until 7pm. This location of R/C is packed away in the corner of the retail shopping area. Not your typical service & attention inside...its hard to mess up R/C...

Went there with my wife in early April. This location is by far the worst in the chain. We have dined at Ruth Chris locations all over the country for the last 20 years and have always had exceptional meals and fantastic service. This time we ran into a very bad waiter (Rusty) and a really bad supporting cast. Waiter forgot to bring soup and salad before entree - brought them with dinner (soup was cold). Waiter was ridiculously rude throughout meal when he was around ( went 30+ minutes without seeing him at one juncture). Stay clear of this Ruth Chris travelers because it has that jaded tourist meal feel unlike every other Ruth Chris in the US. Badly managed to say the least.

Service is amazing. The food was excellent. Rib eye with mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus. The best steak I have had in a long while. The cut is perfect. Color was spot on. Taste was extraordinary. Had a glass of their martini with extra olives...my appetizer prior to this meal. I felt like a king. Focused on the task of eating and enjoying my meal. Waiter asks "still working on it, sir?" Why yes I'll be working on this till I am satisfied...which will most likely be after my 3 glass of martini... Thank you Ruth's Chris...a gentleman's bow to you.

Ruth's Chris is our goto place for special occasion. Great food and service. I was a little surprised to find my steak to be a little overcooked (at least by my expectations), but I am not terribly picky about that and it was still VERY delicious. Additionally, the service here is always very good, and our service staff was attentive. My only real complaint is parking. It is a very small lot anyway and Ruth's Chris, along with many of the other restaurants, block off a * significant* portion of lot for valet parking, which I find annoying. Oh, and I agree with one of the other reviewers who complained about the AC. It was REALLY cold in the dining room. I had to give my wife my jacket because even though she had a wrap, she was chilly. Despite having a great experience, I am only giving 4 stars. Each of my reviews takes in account my expectations, which are set by many factors including restaurant reputation and price. Given Ruth's Chris is IMHO a high end restaurant, things like comfortable atmosphere and steaks cooked to my desired temp are highly critical and on this trip didn't warrant 5 stars. :-( In short, I really have enjoyed each of my visits to Ruth's Chris. We will definitely return again!

My wife and I celebrated our first New Years Eve here. We are lovers of steak and potatoes, so this seemed like a perfect choice. We've made a conscious decision that we need to visit more of the fine steak houses here in Orlando. We kicked off our "resolution" at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. We never visited before and were excited. Seeing how the company has grown over the past five years we were certain we were in for something special. Fortunately there were several last minute, albeit early evening, reservations available for us to make day of plans. The host and hostess we spoke to on the phone were very kind and personable. Good start to the night! We were greeted by some personable hostesses and quickly shown our table. We were seated near the front door, which wasn't so bad. But the AC blower was directly above us. For a chilly night, the AC blowing hard enough to literally...NO JOKE...blow out the candle on the table...TWICE...should have been enough to alert the staff to adjust it. Sadly, it did not. We started with the calamari. Perfectly fried, tender calamari was mixed with a tangy and sweet Thai sauce. It was very good and we cleared the plate in a matter of moments. Next up I had the Steak House salad, a mix of baby greens with a balsamic vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was light and tasty. The garlic croutons were a nice touch. My wife had the Cesar Salad. She found the dressing to be too lemony and not as traditional as she had hoped. I found the taste to be OK, but I'm not the biggest fan of Cesar Salads. We moved on to the entrees. My wife enjoyed a petite fillet and shrimp. She chose mashed potatoes to be her side. I had the larger fillet and stumped to chose a side, the waiter suggested the green beans as they were to be 'amazing'. Now, the waiter advised us several times, up to the moment of service of the VERY HOT PLATES. After several reminders, we thought we 'got it' and knew better than to touch it. Still, it's a point of pride, listed in the menu as well, that the plates are heated to 500 degrees. Personally, I was interested to see what novelty the restaurant would use to separate it's menu from all the others in town. I guess the plate was it. We kept our hands, arms and faces clear of the plate. But we never considered the fact that cutting a piece of meat off the steak, only to fall on the plate before picking it up would also heat that bite to 500 degrees. What was quite obviously a lovely piece of meat was quickly forgotten as we danced the bite around our tongue like that first bite of pizza fresh from the oven, where the cheese sears itself to your palate. We decided to allow the plates to cool and try our sides. The mashed potatoes were good, but reminded me in flavor and texture of the exact same potatoes I had just cooked for our family on Christmas Day. The 'amazing' green beans were cooked well to retain a bit of that crispness, and mixed with several cloves of roasted garlic. The garlic did not seem to adhere to the beans and I could not bring myself to label them as 'amazing' like our waiter suggested. They were just green beans. Now that the plates had some time to cool, we dug back into the steaks. They were lovely, tender, not even needing a knife to cut them. With our second bite we found they again seared to our tongue with heat reminiscent of a volcanic eruption. It appears that allowing a 500 degree plate to cool for several minutes only brings the temperature down to 400 degrees. The steaks, again would wait a few more minutes until the heat was tolerable. We cleared our plates of meat and potato. It was unfortunate that nearly a full serving of green beans was returned to the kitchen along with our empty plates. "I shoulda just got the creamed spinach", I thought to myself. As part of our meal, dessert was included in the form of a small slice of carrot cake and a chocolate mousse. The mousse was served in a dark chocolate cup with two tiny blue berries, an even tinier dollop of whipped cream. This was topped off with an umbrella sized twig of mint. The carrot cake was wonderful. The cream cheese frosting: perfect. The chocolate mousse..? "Meh". All in all our experience at Ruth's Chris was OK. Nothing bad to say at all. Just not great. I will say the standout that night was Kerbin, our assistant server. He was very good, attentive and polite. We enjoyed his service even more so than our waiter

I went for happy hour/dinner and everything in the bar was fantastic!!! The $7 steak sandwich was divine - filet mignon, Bearnaise sauce, garlic bread, fresh cut fries...yummy! My margarita was made with fresh squeezed juices - best in town. And all incredibly priced. If I lived closer I would only eat here and never cook at home again!!! The service from the bartender was great as well! Five star experience all the way...

I love this place. Everything here is amazing. My favorites are the crabtini, bbq shrimp, chopped salad, ribeye, sweet potato casserole is amazing, and the creme brûlée. The waiters are always very attentive, and if you are going for a special day, birthday, anniversary, they will put a little something special on your table. I heard they have a happy hour and have good specials, I haven't had the chance to make it over for that yet. Overall, I always have a wonderful experience here.

We eat at Ruth's Chris at least once a month. My wife doesn't like raisins, we call ahead and she gets bread pudding for dessert with no raisins. We have our favorite waiters, they accommodate us. They treat us like regulars, and they learn our preferences. We will keep going back.

This is the 5th Ruth's Chris we have been to, and like all the others, it did not disappoint. The food is excellent, the service top notch, and the sweet potato side is heaven on a plate. it is very expensive (my husband and I with 2 appetizers, 2 steaks, 2 sides, no alcohol was $180), so it is not a place to go for a quick meal. but if you are looking for a special place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or if you are in the dog house with your significant other and need to wow them with some place romantic, Ruth's Chris is the place to go.

Had a grisselly piece of meat and our waiter Rick took care of it, brought a perfect filet and treated me to a birthday desert. If you've never been go. This place is great get the filet and the sweet potatoes.

Yet to be disappointed. Very accommodating and attentive service. I've tried a different cut of steak here over the past few years, and they have executed well each time. A very special dining event each time. Can't wait until my next visit...

They have one of the most flavorful and perfectly cooked steaks over Morton's and Flemmings. Ruth's Chris is the place to go for a great steak. Crab Cakes are amazing also.

I came here with a good friend of mine and we had a wonderful time. the waiter was great. I got the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked to my liking. My friend got the Lamb and I have to say the lamb was delicious and I am a veryyyy picky person.

We eat at Ruth's Chris not because it will be the best steak in town but because we know it will be consistently good, from the service to the food, no matter where we go (we try to eat at local places, aka non-chains when we can), . Orlando did not disappoint. We both had the Filet, shared a wedge salad and broccoli. Wife had chocolate cake for dessert. The other local steak choice we tried is Charley's, but we prefer the chains of Ruth's or Morton's when in Orlando.

I had been waiting to go to this place forever from all the buzz. From the time we sat down, the waiter was a little too over the top. There is good professional service, and there is uncomfortable I'm an a-hole service. The steaks had a lot of buter and did not live up to the name. I was not sure if this is throughout all locations or just at this one.?

Great food, packed to the walls, and the most bizarre plate clearing ceremony I've ever seen. We went last night, and it was a very busy night. The service struggled a bit. We had to ask for bread a few times. One steak came out very rare when ordered medium. But all in all the food was excellent. The shrimp on the filet is not a well thought out execution. The shrimp aren't shelled, so you can't eat them from atop the steak. However, the plate is very hot, so the already cooked shrimp overcook when you put them on the hot plate to eat them. Not a big deal, but I just think a little more thought is needed. The strangest thing of the night, indeed that I have seen in a restaurant anywhere is the plate clearing "ceremony". When you finish your main course, you wait until a couple other tables in the area are finished. Then, prior to dessert service, they come out with a large tray jack and clear the area plates. Items are bagged or containerized for guests at the same time. It's done with flourish; plates are raised high for scraping with a utensil (gently), then wiped with a rag, then neatly stacked to make it easy for the dishwashing team. I really have seen nothing like it. Once they have the zone of tables completed, the large tray and jack are taken to the kitchen. It's sort of like a tableside preparation, but only in reverse. Some may find it entertaining and an interactive experience, I just think it forces an unusual level of intimacy with the cleaning process.

One of my favourite steak restaurants. An absolute need to visit if you're a steak kind-of-person. Remember those nights when you're craving for a steak but don't know where to go? "I feel like it's a steak night..." Invite your spouse, lover or friends to eat at Ruth's Chris Steak House. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Ruth's Chris is great for a group gathering or that special one-on-one date. Dim lit lights with the perfect atmosphere (maple wood crowning on the walls with perfect white table cloths and flickering candles). We've been here several times and thoroughly enjoyed our meal every single time. A quick recommendation would be setting up a reservation about 2 weeks in advance (before a upcoming holiday). Valentine's Day was completely packed with couples and we had to make a $25 deposit 2 weeks in advance. Three words that'll save you from the lines and the angry walk-ins: RESERVATIONS, RESERVATIONS, RESERVATIONS. The angry walk-ins can shoot you the stink eye all they want but you have made a prior reservation. AH-HAH! Also, another important fact to point out is: $$$$. A dinner for two equals up to $115 (not including the 15-20% tip). It's about that time to whip out that AMEX Centurion Card! What you pay is what you get, a great looking (and tasting) steak. I love the buttery, milky texture to the mash potatoes that blend well with the PERFECT Filet sizzling on your plate with a red-wine in hand. Our waiters has always been attentive and friendly. They quickly deliver my steak out, cooked to perfection (Medium-Well). I like my steak still juicy, but not still mooing and bleeding outward when it arrives to the dining table. Food, service and atmosphere is spectacular. I'll be sure to be back again. That is a promise. (Make those reservations first!!!)

We eat out in the Doc Phillips area a lot ... and there are good restaurants here, but not this one. It is a crowded, noisy, and very impersonal restaurant. The overall ambience is basic cheap / tourist. The steaks we had (filets & strips) were just average, and not near the quality one would expect for the price. We have been in far better Ruths Chris restaurants. Fortunately, there is a Morton's just up the street, and while not one of their best restaurants, it is far above this Ruths Chris.

I love Ruth's Chris when i am traveling on business. You can always get a great steak cooked the way you want it. It was very late - after 9:30 and we were able to get great service at the bar and the NY strip was cooked to perfection. The wait staff, eventhough it was late was excellent and very attentive. Cheers!

I have been here a couple of times for special family events with my boyfriend's family. The food has always been amazing as has been the service. They do a great job of accommodating a large party. There is not a better filet mignon in the Orlando area and the side dishes are perfect (by the way, they are meant for sharing). The highlight, however, has to dessert - my favorite, the creme brulee - ohlala! This location seems to be a little busy and loud for a cozy dinner though so I would suggest for more romantic occasions that you try the one in Winter Park. As a couple, my boyfriend and I prefer that location. Most recently, they had a lobster tail/steak combo special which we found on their website while making reservations. It was my beau's birthday which we later found out entitled him to some special attention, and a free dessert. Additionally, they have excellent valet service there.

My friend made reservation and she was told: "Not more than Party of 10 for Magical Dining"... First, I don't know why she mentioned that we all were having Magical Dining menus because I didn't even have to see Ruth's Chris everyday Menu placed on the table. How much does it cost to place two menus on the table and do an upsale? Second, I saw a party of 10 Magical Diners table next to me. So, in fact it was "allowed". Third, the server was in a rush. Overall, the Filet Mignon was excellent! But I expected more on their service. "My dining experience was not remarkable". That being said, I will suggest to all Restaurants encourage their servers and staff to take this month as an oppotunity to make a good impression to anyone that can afford and enjoys fine dinig to come back, which that is the real purpose of Magical Dining month. Few days ago, I visited one of the competitors across the street and they made a difference between Excellence and Typical service. On the other hand, I saw a bunch of people visiting the restaurant that were inappropriately dressed. I encourage visitors to be informed about dressing codes for Fine Dining or at least to try not wearing a "Tshirt".

Review of the Happy Hour fare ** Hate to review this experience less than stellar cause I know their fine dining is up to it. So in the keeping it real tradition... My $8 steak sandwich was actually really dry. The toasted bun was done nicely but the only moisture came from the steak and a rather meager squirt of Bearnaise sauce on the steak. The steak was delicious, as was the sauce, but too dry to enjoy to the fullest. Comes with a thinly sliced purple onion, bit-o-lettuce and a tomato slice. Fries were borderline warm. Would have been much better if served fresher / hotter. Ruth's Manhattan's for $8 is a fair deal. Service was great. Two people, three drinks two steak sandwiches with +20% tip = $50. Better happy hour specials experience just up the road.

Came here for my girlfriends 24th Birthday. From the time we walked in to when we left, everything was GREAT. Our server Eric was great and checked up on us regularly. We enjoyed the magical dining menu. She had the gumbo was was her first time and she loved it and I had the steakhouse salad (It doesn't have ANY steak, lol). For our entree's, I had the 4oz filet mignon with large shrimp and creamed spinach. She had the 6oz filet mignon with mash potatoes. We also got a side of lobster mac and cheese. The meat was cooked perfectly to our liking, medium and medium well. The mash potatoes was well but to me the creamed spinach was amazing. I've always wanted to try the lobster mac and cheese and it was well worth every penny, a must for any foodie out there. The desert were regular nothing spectacular but the food was spot on! I'll be visiting the New York location soon.

First time and was frankly disappointed all the way through. Steak was so over cooked that I had to get them to change it 3 times. They out it on this plate that's like 500 degrees in heat! Didn't do anything for the steak. Wasn't impressed.

I have the opportunity to visit Ruth Chris Steak house once a year for my husbands holiday party with work. I look forward to this every year as this place is so delicious! They do have all their ala carte items but they also have a special "combo" menu as well. This menu has several selections for one price. You receive a salad of choice, your meat selection, side and a dessert. I always order the stuffed chicken breast. I am not too much of a steak eater, so this is a great alternative if you also are not a steak eater. The plates come out super hot and you are advised not to touch them when they are put down. The side item that I usually order are the sauteed mushrooms. These are something I usually wouldn't order but from here mixed with the stuffed chicken is delicious. The dessert that comes with this special menu changes. The first year it was a flour less chocolate cake (OMG Delicious!!!) This year it was a chocolate bark cheesecake. It was great tasting, but I am not too much of a cheesecake lover, but it was tasty. This restaurant is very pricey, but you do get what you pay for. It is perfect for a romantic setting as well.

Not a five star experience today at Ruth Chris unfortunately! We stopped in for the Happy hour specials starting at 4:30 to 7 PM with special menu of $8 dishes and specials on drinks. Our server EJ was eager to please at the start but unfortunately towards the end of our dining experience was much less attentive! I ordered the Tenderloin Skewer salad with honey-soy marinated skewers, bleu cheese crumbles, spring greens, tomatoes and caramelized onions with huge mushrooms also on skewers. All in all a decent salad especially for $8 but unfortunately I had to return the steak ( first time ever at Ruth Chris) because I ordered it medium and it came with a raw purple center. The rest of us ordered the steak sandwich with fries with Bernaise sauce that was very good and a Prime burger with fries that was also very good! At no time did the manager Chad either come over to greet us or to apologize for the steak, which is a big fail for Ruth Chris who always have had their managers do this over the twenty years I have been dining here. I'm hoping this was just a bad day for this Ruth Chris and not a downhill trend, since what people come to expect at Ruth Chris dining experience is superior food and service whether it be in the dining room or the bar happy hour!

Ruth Chris consistently has great food. My claim, the best steak ever. My 3 star is not for bad food, but the restaurant not having mashed potatoes on Sunday night, 8/2/15. The service was a little off too, nothing horrific, just off. We asked for warm bread, and they forgot to bring it, (the first bread they brought was hard and cold). When you are paying this much for a meal, you expect more.

Went there a few times in the last few months, and despite checking in I forgot to write a review.... It was fabulous, both times. Attentive staff and well prepared steaks, as well as knowledgeable wine steward made the experiences memorable. A lot of flexibility in the service and I must say, the positive can-do attitude goes a long way, particularly after a long day. My steak of choice as always is the NY strip, and it is always perfectly cooked. I have tried asking for it without the traditional butter etc. but have revered to letting the chef prepare it the way she likes and knows....excellent!

We were not allowed to book a party of 5, but were allowed to book 2 tables for 5 of us. That's okay with us, since the reservation was for 5:15 pm. We thought it would be easier to ask to combine 2 tables together to allow 5 together. The next evening, we were at the place at 5:15 pm, 15 minutes after they opened. The lady walked us into the dinning room, and told us, one table was on this side, and the 2nd table was on the opposite side of the room. We looked around, and about 90% of the tables were not seated. We asked nicely if these 2 tables could be together. Guess what? Flat out NO! You kidding me? We've been to much fancier establishments, but haven't received such treatment. What a shame of them! We did not waste a second there and left. As far as the decoration goes for a steak house, it's just a bit better then TGI Friday. If Zero star could be given out, I will give it out to this place in a heart beat.

Ruth Chris has always been a restaurant I have wanted to try. I am very glad I actually followed through. The steak is absolutely amazing -- better than their competitors like Capital Grille and Flemings. Service, like many upscale restaurants, is impeccable. I am definitely going to try to head back when I have a chance.

OK, so I'm a restaurant row happy hour monster. I have gone to multiple happy hours in one night just to get a fix of my faves. But Ruth Chris by far has the best specials. For $7 I can get an amazing crab BLT sandwich with zucchini fries or a filet mignon sandwich also with fries and there's drink specials! I'm sad it's not happy hour right now because I'm totally craving a sandwich.

I've only been here for happy hour because it's such a great deal. There's usually not a wait, just make sure to come before 7. The tuna is very good and so is the crab blt with the side of zucchini fries. I wasn't a hug fan of the filet sandwich. I enjoy the crab more. The also make a very good pomegranate martini and cosmopolitan.

One of the best experiences of this restaurant I have been to. The steak was perfect. The sweet potato soufflé was superb as usual. Crab cakes were even great. The service was wonderful as usual. You never have to ask for a refill.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get complimentary seats at this month's Veuve Clicquot Champagne Dinner and we were blown away. This was a five course meal with other locals, part of a monthly wine dinner they do all over the country. First impressions: Almost the entire lot is reserved for valet which is a huge turnoff. I really prefer to park myself, but with 3-4 restaurants in the same strip mall, all offering valet, that can be difficult. I guess most people going to these restaurants appreciate a complimentary valet but I'm used to valet spots being further away than all the spots right in front of your restaurant. This location is currently doing renovations, so you're greeted by a sad bar area where people were still dining despite the lack of walls and flooring--not sure I'd want to spend that much money to sit there (it got pretty noisy in there). The back room where we ate had recently been redone but it was nothing special--kinda like a hotel ballroom style--no real ambiance or personality. And it was so dark! (otherwise I'd be sharing more photos). The service was great and everything was served well--a challenge for a dinner involving 50 people. First was a cocktail reception with salmon tartare on cucumber paired with a Grand Marnier smash. The salmon and cucumber were equally fresh and not overly fishy. What a great way to start the dinner. We found our seats and introduced ourselves to the table. I was looking forward to meeting some interesting Orlandoans, but, this being the Sand Lake location... well let's just say that didn't really happen. But our hostess for the evening started off with some interesting history of Ruth's Chris and Veuve Clicquot, running parallels between Ruth and Madame Clicquot's business lives. Next up was chilled jumbo shrimp over crisp sweet apples, green beans, and a dijon vinaigrette. The shrimp was delicious! Very interesting combination with the apple and green beans, but the beans were pretty bland. There was a lot more food coming so I enjoyed the shrimp but stopped there to save room. This course was paired with the Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, which ended up being my favorite of the champagne we tried. Crisp and balanced, our hostess described it as a complex combination of blackberry, biscuit, and honey. The third course was easily my favorite: Lobster Bisque en Croute paired with Veuve Clicquot Rosé. The Bisque is just amazing, and I understand they have this on their normal menu, but without the pastry on top--although they really should consider serving this regularly! The Rose was a little sweet after the brut. The entree was medium rare Filet Mignon topped with black truffle & foie gras butter, served sizzling -- Ah-mazing! This is one of the best steaks I've ever had. My knife cut through effortlessly like it was just warm butter. They served family style sides: garlic mashed potatoes and pan roasted cremini mushrooms. The mushrooms were pretty standard but the mashed potatoes were extra creamy. I don't even like mashed potatoes that much but these were delicious. The entree was served with a Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2004, very similar to the yellow label. We ended with a pear and almond tart topped with Chamomile tea whipped cream--the perfect mix of sweet and tart. The Veuve Clicquot Demi-Sec was very sweet so luckily the dessert balanced it out. This is a great event to head to once or twice a year. It seemed like a lot of people there are regulars who go to every wine dinner, but at $125 a person I was happy to get in for free!

I came here for New Year's Eve with my husband, and the place was definitely happening. We came here a bit early, and the restaurant tried their best in seating us as soon as possible. Our server was attentive and great. I ordered their special, the NY Strip that apparently is slathered with butter, and comes out sizzling out on their iron cast plate. That sound is like music to my ears! The meat came out well-done, just the way I liked it, with a bit of a char on the exterior. No problemo for me! Our server didn't even flinch with an asking of the A1 sauce - perfect :D The beginning started with the salad and the loaded baked potatoes, and they were fine. The side of creamed spinach, I was not a fan of, as it was just bland for me. The dessert was on the house, and we had creme brulee - absolutely divine. Loved the service, loved my steak, and I would come here again. +sizzling steaks :D +creme brulee +friendly staff :D

They put on a great Thanksgiving dinner here. Number One, they are open, not many places are. You can get a Turkey dinner, or most of the menu items. Everything was top notch, and they give you leftovers to take home. Just an outstanding experience.

I've been to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse several times but this was my first at this location. My husband and I went to this location on our honeymoon back at the end of May. The experience was amazing as we were absolutely spoiled by our visit. The food was amazing and very well prepared. As we got there, petals were thrown on our table. Service was incredible and did not take very long to get our meal. I got my usual, a steak and a caesar salad. We also received a free cheesecake dessert since it was our honeymoon. They took our picture at the end of the meal for a keepsake. Thank you for making this a dinner we will always remember!

Pricey but so worth it. This is at least a once a year, special occasion type of place for me and my family. We recently went with a large party and across the board had amazing meals from beginning to end. Not everyone had steaks and they were just as pleased. Service is top notch to boot. Pro Tip: They offer bottle corking service which means you can bring your own bottle from the outside in for $15 per bottle. I'd much rather bring my own bottle that I know is good and pay the $15 markup rather than the 2 to 3 times the normal price.

Standards, that's what makes Ruth Chris Steakhouse worth the expense, a corporate mentality of high standards. However the Ruth Chris in Orlando didn't get the memo because this place operates below standards. Here's why Its dark in there. Real dark. So dark it killed off our otherwise happy mood into something a bit more somber. I couldn't see the soup I ordered and seeing your food is part of the joy of a good meal. We ordered the Porterhouse for two, our usual order at the Ruth Chris in Berlin Maryland where we stop several times a year when we go down to the shore. We ordered it medium rare. We got it rare. I don't eat rare meat so we paid $200 total for a meal that only one of us could eat. We ordered the mac and lobster. ($17.00) and that made up most of my meal. The waiter, an older man, was useless. He barks when he speaks and generally comes across as a gruff homicide investigator working out of the Red Hook neighborhood. He chewed gum when he took our order until I glared at him and he stopped. Before leaving the table he told me to "Reach over and get me that wine glass" .....why is this guy working at a place like Ruth Chris? He belongs in a hash house. We never saw him again after that. The food arrived raw and red but hot and the waiter nowhere to be found , my wife ate a bit, we paid $200 for nothing and I went back to the hotel and ordered a burger.
