Love this place great chicken parmigiana and garlic knots. I would recommend to anyone to at least try this place.

Do yourself a favor and order from here. Their pizza is great and the only other places for a pie around here is Papa Johns and Pizza Hut, which is complete shit. Ferrara's Pizza is real, delicious and made with actual effort rather than pre made crusts. I love it, I live near by and order from them frequently. Their steak special hoagie is off the chain and I really dig their buffalo chicken pizza.

I've been to this place other times before but I'm still not impressed with their food. Now, on Sundays if you are looking for a quick-no-waiting in-line brunch this is the place. The price is right and the service is okay, after all you just want quick service. The pancakes are super delicious and the bacon is good too. Next time I will try the French toast!

Pizzas are a great deal on Monday and Tuesday. Love the New York style pizza at a great price. Dine in I've had a the chicken parm which was a good size portion and the garlic knots were tasty. Nothing out of the ordinary but a nice little Italian restaurant.

Yeap, country music and feeling it's very strip mall quality makes for interesting times - big potion sizes - been here 10x+ cause it is close - but... Having to open for breakfast never a good sign - 6 workers, 4 dinners, food takes a real long time...

I really enjoy dining there are on regular basis. The food, portions, prices and staff are all wonderful. My only displeasure was while I was sitting in the dining room area of the restaurant. I heard a female employee advise a co-worker to wipe down the counters because she had seen ants crawling in that area. She did say that she will call Orkin to come fix it. Not the kind of thing you want to hear when you are waiting for your food.

I love that they deliver! Their eggplant parmigiana sub is my favorite. Good pizza and pasta dishes too.

My family has been going to Ferrara's Pizza for years. When we order pizza delivery it is always from Ferrara's (best thing in our area for delivery if you don't like pizza chains). We also go to Ferrara's for lunch from time to time. They have great lunch specials. I love this place, and the food is really good, but service has been declining. Recently we had an issue with a take-out order. We ordered two pizzas, a cheese and a pepperoni, and garlic knots. When we arrived to pick them up there was a small line and our order was accidentally given to the person in front of us. We ended up with two pepperoni pizzas and no garlic knots (which we paid for). Needless to say, we were annoyed, but we thought it was just a fluke. On a recent lunch break I met up with my husband and kids at Ferrara's. From the start our service was not good. They have a small dining area and there was only one server working all of the lunch tables (maybe 4 or 5 tables). She was slow to take our orders, forgot things we asked for, you know, just not great service. Additionally during the meal she came around to all of the tables to let us know their credit card system was down so everyone would have to pay cash. One customer actually had to leave, go to an ATM, and return to pay her check. One more irritating thing. They were playing really annoying country music. I don't like country music, but it would have been tolerable if the volume was lower. We mentioned it to our server and she said management only allowed them to play country music during lunch because it isn't as offensive as other music. Really? - Really? How about some nice Italian restaurant staples like Frank Sinatra if you don't want to offend people with your music? Ugh. Anyway, that visit left a bad taste in my mouth. I think we'll stick to delivery from now on.

The family and I have been long time customers at Ferrara's. We've gone through 3 ownership changes. Some changes good and others not so good. Recently the pizza has been undercooked, at least compared with what we've become accustomed to in the past. Service has been better since the change so that's better. The weird thing we've run into since the change is breakfast being served Fri thru Sun. I guess that's ok but they are now leaving maple syrup on the table at dinner. Not sure why it's so bothersome but it's so out of place.

I go to this place all of the time. Nearly 2x a week. I work down the road. They are so friendly there, especially Zach! He and a few others remember our orders and we just say the regular and they get it going for us! The food is extremely reasonably priced, great selection, quick and friendly service, and deliciously fresh! Hands down I take all guests there with me when they are in town. You've got to try to lunch specials they are wonderful!

Average, the chicken wings were good. The pizza had an odd taste like a sharp cheese used. I like only mozzarella. The pizza itself was lacking size and thickness. Kind of flat and smaller then it should have been. Slices were on the small size for an eighteen inch.

We always enjoy the pizza from here. Delicious and reasonably priced. Only once we had a problem and it was with a young boy who took our order on the phone. When we got there he said " I don't even remember taking their order haha." So we ordered again and he messed up the size of our pizza. -_-

Came back a year later...still terrific food with fast friendly service and generous portions.

Sigh.....I hate to give this place such a review but I honestly tried my best to find some reason, any reason to give them more stars but two is it and that's generous. We ordered take out after my husband came home excited about finding a pizza place that could possibly meet his approval. I had given up on this quest so when he found this place I was eager to try it. Total disappointment. Pizza: He ordered thin crust and several toppings. Toppings were less than expected. Sauce was non-existent. Wings: Drenched in BBQ sauce. Not good. No celery or carrot sticks? Really? A sign of a good NY pizza place is celery sticks. C'mon. Calamari: Now how can you mess up fried anything? It's possible. Whole ringlets? I counted 17 in the entire order. I am SO glad that I didn't order an actual entree. I would have been pissed if I did judging on what we had.

Great place to grab a quick pizza on the way home. Fast and friendly service. The Monday and Tuesday pizza special is hard to pass up! I have not dined in but I am willing to give it a try.

I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria, ever. This is for two reasons: 1) Rude staff 2) Terrible pizza. My girlfriend and I arrived around 1:30 pm. It was surprisingly slow for a lunch shift. I ordered a slice of pepperoni with onions and mushrooms, along with a bottle of beer under the condition they could provide a bucket of ice (or koozie) to keep my beer cold (granted, it's an unusual request, but I was very upfront about only wanting the beer if I could keep it cold.) Our server, Jessica, said she would see what she could do. After about ten minutes, Jessica plopped my beer onto the table with my bottle in a plastic cup...containing 3 ice cubes. Seriously, I counted. She announced "It's the best I can do" and abruptly walked away without letting me even get a word in edgewise. I was slightly annoyed, but let it go. When she returned, I returned the beer without having touched it. She was clearly irritated at this and treated me with an uncomfortable disdain for the remainder of our time there. Insult was added to injury when the pizza came. It was cold, rubbery, and the mushrooms were sprinkled, completely uncooked, atop this triangular atrocity. I quickly scarfed down my meal, paid the bill and left. Overall, it was a pretty crappy experience.

Great lunch specials. Tough staying on 'The Plan' here. Gave it my best shot. Service was great!!! Look for it in the strip stores on Curry Ford next to Publix (Dean Road). Need to come back on weekends for breakfast.

Great small business. I always order large pizza with extra cheese and it's super cheesy! I won't go anywhere else for pizza.

Rating it for the pizza (takeout) only. I've only dined in once many years ago and never tried items other than the pizza and stuffed rolls so can't really comment on the service or rest of the menu items. I've tried many other pizza places over the years and this is still the best pizza around here, hands down. They seem to do mainly take out and are geared primarily to that type of service, even though they do have a small area for seating, unlike some of the other pizza/Italian restaurants catering to dine-in. So I'm assuming that could be why some people rate it lower than 4 when having a meal in, because the pizza itself is great, cheesy and full of flavor. My favorite is the Margherita (think that's spelled right?) very garlicky and cheesy. The tomatoes on this pie are bursting with flavor so I think they must be marinated in advance. My husband loves the Chicken Roll, stuffed full of chicken, lots of cheese and sauce, the large size is massive and can feed about 2 or 3 people.

The wife and I like this little Italian place. We go there often. The service is usually very good. We have tried quite a few dishes and pizza pies and apps. Funny thing, prob the best value on the menu is chicken tenders and fries! You won't be able to finish the portions. The only area I could say they could improve upon is their salads. The dressings seem low quality. I'm sure for a few pennies more per serving their supplier could offer a higher quality line of dressings and give the salads some zing!

Pizza starting falling way short. Last pizza I got barely had sauce on it. Inconsistent.

Took advantage of the Monday/Tuesday $6.99 large pizza special... Wow, what a disappointment, but I guess you get what you pay for. The girl who took my order over the phone seemed rushed and a little flustered, had to keep asking me to repeat my address, guess it was a little loud on her end or a poor connection on mine, but anyway... Ordered 2 "large" pies for delivery and was told 45 mins to an hour... I live 10 minutes away walking distance, but okay no biggie. Pizza arrived much faster than was told, which was great because it was still hot! However, the "large" pie was sooooo small -- about the size of a Dominos medium pie. My only other gripe is that the pizza hardly had any sauce! WTF!?! I'm giving them 3 stars because the pizza wasn't too bad despite its small size, but the lack of sauce had my wife reaching for a bottle of marinara to add to it. Personally, I prefer a thin, crispy pizza, but if you like a soft fluffy pizza that's very light on the sauce, then look no further, this is your spot!

This place has gone down hill! We ordered from them a few weeks back and they were out of eggplant. I settled for a pepperoni roll instead of an eggplant parm dinner. However, when I got home I had a peppers and onions roll. I called to let them know of the issue and they said "that's not possible because they have not made one of those all night." Ok- I know what I'm looking at. I then asked to have it remade and I was told they were out of pepperoni. When I arrived back to return it I stood at the counter for about 15 minutes listening to the servers argue back and forth about calling back two customers who ordered pepperoni pizzas. The pizza maker asked the server several times to call them back and let them know there was no pepperoni in house and her response was "they'll find out when they get here." Fast forward a few weeks to tonight. Again, I wanted an eggplant parm dinner. My husband placed our order and showed up 20 minutes later to pick it up. When he arrived he was told they are out of eggplant. He then asked if they tried to contact us to change our order and of course the response was "No." We are extremely disappointed in their customer service. This has been our go to pizza place for years. We will be looking for another local pizza shop. Shame on you, Ferraras.

We had the take out special with ziti/meatballs and stuffed shells. Let's just say we won't be going back. Meatballs were flavorless but you did get huge portions. The stuffed shells was very dry and just crumbled. The salad was really good and very green. The rolls were good too. Maybe the pizza is better.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
