Feels like 72' up in here. You'll get the whole quintessential diner experience with top hospitality on the side. Everybody should experience a place just like this once. Even rubbed elbows with artists and actors here. I've been very happy with whatever's on special.

Decent Diner style breakfast. Pretty cheap good ole american cooking. I'd come back if i was every hungry and in the area.

Great little no frills diner that has good food for a fair price. The staff is super friendly. I really like having breakfast here. Highly recommend the buckwheat pancakes.

This place has that awesome traditional small town diner feel. I've been eating here for almost 4 years now. My wife and I try to go at least once a week for breakfast. Fast service with a smile and good pricing on all the menu items. We love this place!

We almost didn't come here, because it's not rated so well...but we're new to College Park, have been looking for a good diner, and it was walking distance we decided to try it out. And we're so glad we did! I ordered the lunch special of chicken salad sandwich with black bean and rice soup. They subbed my chicken for tuna and I chose sourdough bread. My meal was delicious! My husband got the bacon avocado burger and loved it. Yes, it's a little divey and dated, but it's a local neighborhood diner! It's inexpensive, great food and friendly, fast service! We will definitely be back.

I was working at Downtown Credo and thought I'd grab a bite to go at College Park Cafe. The interior is pretty outdated, but that's not a problem in an old diner. I ordered a Spinach Avocado Hummus Wheat Wrap (not on the menu, but featured on the dry erase board on their wall) and asked for it with everything on it (tomatoes, onions, etc). It came with a side and I ordered the carrot salad (which the server told me was made fresh daily). The wrap started out promising, but as soon as I got to the onions they overwhelmed the meal entirely. They looked like they'd been shaved, rather than chopped, and they had an overpowering sharp and bitter taste. I tried scooping them out, but every couple of bites I would get another mouthful of these onion shavings and I ended up opening the wrap up to eat some of the avocado and spinach with a fork. I don't know how much blame to put on the cafe as they asked if I wanted the toppings, but I think they need to use different onions or not offer the onions at all as they really overwhelmed the wrap. The carrot salad on the other hand was very tasty and fresh. It was the saving grace of the meal. If I return I'll go for a breakfast dish as I think that's their specialty.

I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed this place yet. This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the Orlando area. I especially come here when I'm craving pancakes. I normally only like wholesome pancakes (like whole wheat), which is why I always order their buckwheat pancakes. You can get them as either short or tall stack. Or you can do the small stack as a combo with eggs, and bacon or sausage, for a couple dollars more. It's a very filling and complete meal with the combo, that will keep you satisfied for hours. I really can't comment on their other food, since the pancakes are what I always order. The coffee and OJ is pretty standard. You do get unlimited coffee refills. The servers are very nice here. The crowd is also very diverse, from young to old. Mike Z. mentioned the older patrons talking of nostalgic times, and I've experienced overhearing this myself. Oh yeah, during the season, they sell pumpkin pancakes too. Check out for it and other specials on their specials board, inside and outside the restaurant.

We've coming to college park cafe for the last 3 years and we always have a great experience. The food is great, the atmosphere is awesome even though is an old fashion place, and of course the service is Awesome. Thanks Monique! We will be back very soon!

I always get their turkey club made with real turkey. I don't know of anywhere else you can get a sandwich of this quality and this freshness. The tomatoes are so good you could eat them alone and it could be a meal. And the fact that they remember you when you come back and makes it that small town feel! I don't know which I love more... There food or the staff! I love this place!

I've hesitated to review College Park Cafe because I selfishly wanted to keep it a best kept secret. But what the heck-- this place is a gem! Some of the best pancakes, omelettes, and burgers in town. The wait staff is terrific. This is a place for regulars.

Great place to find a delicious, "comfort" breakfast or deli-like sandwich. Nothing innovative or four-star, but you can be pretty assured whatever you get is going to be just tasty. I went to College Park Cafe recently for a late breakfast, but decided I'd rather dine on a lunch plate so I ordered the grilled ham & cheese along with a side of chips. As I mentioned, it tasted just as I thought it would. YUM! No complaints here, and the dishes are affordable. Before visiting, take note this place is rather old and some might consider it a bit "run down," but it's a fantastic local business to support and I will be back!

Very nice family owned establishment. Good food and service. They could update the decor.

Needed breakfast so we stopped. LOVED IT. Its a little dated but if it's good food, we are all about supporting the locals. Owners are Eastern European so glad to hang out with some of my ethnic family!! Can't wait to try some foods that my mom/grandmother would make. We will be back soon!!!

A bit of a throw back and in a good way. When you want a low key down home delicious breakfast on a late Sunday morning this is the place. The service was awesome!! Food was pretty good, we are so used to places that have that little something extra like local ingredients or gourmet brunch or Bloody Mary bar, this place doesn't have any of that and I LIKE it that way!

Great breakfast. I live within walking distance. Corn beef hash and eggs are my favorite. Coffee cup is always refilled without asking. Prices are affordable. Staff is polite. Check out their special board! Go support local business. They've been there for years. Let's keep it that way!!

Best breakfast in College Park. I can't imagine why anybody would go anywhere else. Its got the small town diner atmosphere and the service is fast. Very friendly staff, always helpful. This place is definitely one of a kind! 5 stars.

Well this place could use a makeover, new silverware, cups, etc., but the breakfast sure is good. A small stack of pancakes consists of 2 large fluffy cakes big enough for a kid or small appetite. The 3 egg veggie omelette was nicely prepared and came with homemade hash browns. Service is friendly and fast. A lot of locals come here. But oh my gosh they need to oil that kitchen door. The constant squeaking is obnoxious.

Old school goodness in College Park. Nothing fancy, from the decor to the food, but everything you could ask for from a local diner - great service and tasty food. The family that owns and operates this restaurant are incredibly nice and it's a real gem. Breakfast is always satisfying and cooked right. For lunch, there are lots of options. One of my friends swears by the wet burrito; I'm partial to the steak sandwich. Daily specials, too. If you want something simple, good and served in a casual, friendly atmosphere, this is your spot.

This is a cool local College Park spot that has clearly stood the test of time. In a quickly developing neighborhood that has a great mix of independent restaurants College Park Cafe is a solid breakfast choice in the area. The pancakes were tasty and the home fries were crispy and the juice was plentiful. Great service by the sole waitress. My only complaint is that they desperately need a remodel. The decor is very old looking and negatively impacted my initial confidence that the food would be good. College Park has tons of young families these days who could use an affordable breakfast out now and again with the kids. I'm positive if they remodeled, the College Park Cafe would be full at all hours instead of how it was this morning (25% full with mostly senior citizens).

The quintessential American mom and pop cafe, That dotted American cities and downtown's for years serving up black coffee and breakfast, or lunch. I have eaten here for lunch several times the last few months. Food is good, usually fast, and cheap. All meals are plentiful with big portions and always cooked right. Now this is not a fancy place by any means. They cater to a local College Park older and local crowd. As many people have said it's interior is kinda dated but you know when places start changing it messes up there vibe and they are out of business. This place has been here for awhile so I don't think they will be changing anything soon. So get past the mauve painted over the wallpaper and the cheap table cloths. They practice in comfort food here and if you eat there anymore than once or twice you will see the steady stream of regulars there every time! Very large menu selection, and very large specials board with lot's of desserts that change daily. I mix up my orders quite a bit and have yet to have a bad meal. Think College Park version of Mayberry on the Andy Griffith show and this would be the place you would stop in and say hey to Andy and Barney, Aunt Bee, Opie, Gomer and Goober, Thelma Lou and Ms. Crump, Howard Sprague and Floyd and the rest of the folks and enjoy a good meal.

This isn't a fancy place by any means, but the food is good, it's locally owned, and the staff is wonderful. Great place to go for breakfast (pumpkin pancakes!) and/or comfort food.

Breakfast should be familiar, comforting and energizing. Making a good breakfast does not require advanced culinary degrees. It requires an attention to detail and an ability to prepare basic foods consistently well. College Park Cafe makes a darn good breakfast! The ambiance at College Park Cafe (CPC) is Spartan. Relatively bear walls, tables covered with plastic table coverings and paper napkins rule the day. It is the kind of hole in the wall that I remember well from my youth. CPC is unique and that makes it special. Servers are attentive and polite. They warm to regulars but maintain a detached, but efficient, demeanor with newcomers. That is as it should be. Relationships are allowed to form naturally and I like that. This morning I ordered a vegetarian omelet, made with egg beaters. It was full of fresh onions, tomatoes, peppers and mushrooms that were cooked perfectly. Served with freshly shredded hash browned potatoes and rye toast, I could not have enjoyed my meal more. There are no bells and whistles at CPC but it is definitely the kind of place that will call on me to make repeat visits. It is a real gem for real people.

We've walked by a million times and thought the place looked good because of the old time diner feel. We were wrong. My boyfriend and I had breakfast today and as my boyfriend said the best thing on his plate was the toast. First, two breakfasts with coffee cost almost $19- so definitely not diner prices. I had an omelette with sausage, mushrooms and cheese. The side of home fries were soggy and had no flavor and the mushrooms in the omelette came from a jar. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy with a side of toast. The biscuits and gravy were just okay and the biscuits alone were dry and had no taste. On the plus side, the waitress was really nice and attentive and the coffee was good.

This is a cozy café that is likely to have older adults recall ones frequented in their youth. There are many like this in the area, which makes having breakfast/brunch on a weekend in this city so much fun. The food is just fine though not extraordinary - it's what you'd come to expect and want for a diner-type breakfast. I remember the staff being very pleasant and the prices being reasonable. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

EWWWWW....This place was just gross inside...so dirty. We sat at a booth which had some non-used door way. The door handle was caked with a greasy disgusting mess. The rest of the restaurant is dusty and un kept. The food was bad, the service was bad....stay away!

CP Cafe is a nearby local diner. very friendly owners and a close walking distance for breakfast as as CP resident. To steal from Lauren H's review (which i think is dead on) if CP Cafe was further away i wouldn't travel to go there. our omelets were overcooked and a bit rubbery, my home fries on the soggy side and the bacon kind of blah.... don't get me started on the coffee. Our service was good however.

When talking Edgewater Drive diners, inevitably it's Christo's that gets the lion's share of the buzz. Christo's has built a great rep over the years thanks to their consistent food quality and friendly atmosphere. Consider College Park Cafe the red-headed step kid to Christo's golden child. The comparison is partly deserved: CPC is a little more homely looking than Christo's, wedged into a space between a hair salon and an Italian restaurant. Fluorescent bulbs greet you in the windows as you squeeze through the front door. The interior looks like it hasn't been updated since approximately 1986, but it is ultimately clean and well maintained. The dinerific food is mainly average, but to put it another way, I've never had a bad meal there. Lots of egg combo, omelette, pancake and waffle options for breakfast, plus typical sandwiches, meatloaf, and burgers for lunch. CPC is family-owned, and you can tell they've been running this place for a long time. Service is quick and efficient, and it even gets friendly after they've seen you in a few times. A well-oiled machine, this cafe. You'll leave CPC full and with cash left in your pocket. Will you leave satisfied? It's a toss up, but if you're not, you can always stroll down to Christo's for some dessert.

Went here for breakfast when everything else was too busy. Quickly I noticed why this place was not busy. The place was down right dirty and service was slow, top it off food was crap. Not going back.

Decent breakfast at a decent price. Typical diner atmosphere, but the service can be iffy. As college park residents it was a good place within walking distance for breakfast, but I'm not sure we would have eaten there as much if we weren't so close.

Desperately in need of a Robert Irvine makeover! Although the service was outstanding, we nearly passed on even trying this restaurant and would not have without the previous Yelp ratings. The outside entry is not appealing at all and the first step inside gives a "dive" impression. The walls have crooked pictures of Paris, France (not sure why), the carpet is clean but has an old carpet smell, overall the restaurant is kept clean too, the rear wall is plain white and side walls are pepto pink. Decor aside, service was very good, and my chili omelet was also very good. Sadly my home fries were greasy and lacked and seasoning and even my toast showed a lack of care from the kitchen. Prices are very reasonable and perhaps they should be hiked with the goal of improving the overall appearance and dining experience.

I like the College Park Cafe for its atmosphere, just an old-style diner in the heart of College Park. I half-expect to see Aunt Bee, Thelma Lou and Opie strolling by outside. The food that I've tried -- well I can make it better at home. Still it's a "comforting" little place to visit. I haven't been there for breakfast, which I've heard is very good.

Good place for breakfast. Watch ordering extra sides, before you know, you might have a $15.00 breakfast. Good service. Family owned.

Nice, casual, neat little spot for breakfast in College Park. I've read but haven't tried their lunch menu. Have not been disappointed yet, and the service is good.

Basic breakfast menu, done right...when Christo's is overflowing, getting a table here couldn't be easier. Try it.
