Never ate here before and was a little skeptical....but wow, was I impressed! The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding. I had the grilled fish and shrimp combo....the fish wasn't dried out and nasty like a of places. If you have never had a fried breadstick, you are missing out on a piece of Heaven! Hubby had the fried combo platter and couldn't finish it (and he's a big guy, lol). Very clean interior. Quiet but friendly employees. Will definitely go here again! See the pic I posted. All that food plus 2 large drinks= less than $20!

When I lived in Orlando, this was my place for good, clean fast food...Their crab cakes and cod fish with shrimp is excellent with tarter sauce and even Jalapenos poppers for side order.....I still miss Captain D's even today.

I used to go to the store on the other end of colonial dr but for whatever reason they closed that one. Now it's several miles to go to the closest one but it's well worth the drive and the food is always good. I love the original fish and chips and for the price it can't be beat. Eat your heart out "long john silvers".

Holy shit, look out. There's cod fillets flying and they're batter-dipped. Crab cakes are exploding from the carapace of a once thriving bottom-feeder, and green beans spill off your plate onto the grey cafeteria tray holding the steaming plate of deep-fried assault weapons. For the price of a BigMac combo, you get fish and shrimp and your choice of two country-style sides, whatever that means. Maybe they fucked their cousins. Try the catfish and suck down a bottle of malt vinegar like an Olde English. The sweet tea is a flowing concoction of sugar water and the color brown. Get your fish on, motherfucker. Its Captain D's.

I think this is the second time I have been to Captain D.. Can't remember what it was like the first time but decided to stop here today after school to get some food for the kids.. Thought it a nice change from our usual burgers... I ordered two kids meal and two of their 4.99 full meal.. No drinks comes with the meals.. So strange.. The size of the meal is very good.. I felt that the food was very salty for my liking.. the kids like their meal and that's good enough for me.. It's about them.. Lol Will come back in the near future..

I havent had Captain D's in a very long time. The last I remembered having Captain D's was when I was at a Military Base Food Court in Travis AFB California. I recall their french fries being extra crispy and batter coated. After doing errands - I pass by the franchise and saw a Shrimp Special for $4.99. It was 2 dozen of shrimps with 2 sides and hush puppies. Good deal right?? I ordered the Shrimp Special and had fried okra, fries and hush puppies with 24 pcs of fried shrimps! The fries is what I remembered -- Battered and crispy -- Okra was good , The hush puppies were okay..a bit bland. The shrimps were good but a tad bit salty for my taste. The thing about the meals is that they do not come with drinks. I would def go back again because IMO they are better than Long John Silvers!!
