Start your meal with a great appetizer my personal Fav are the Rib Rolls. They are awesome! My designated location for fresh Dolphin. From the Dolphin platter to the Dolphin sandwich it will crunch your Mahi cravings. Always fried to perfection and packed with flavor. Splash a little lemon over it and start your adventure. The platter is great paired with their fully loaded backed potato. If your going sandwich route try the sweet potato fries. To finish it off make sure you order desert i recommended THE BANZAI BROWNIE This thing is big enough to feed 4 so don't go crazy. Staff at this location never disappoint.

All day today, children 12 and under eat for free with purchase of an adult meal. We took advantage of that offer. Service was attentive and patient with the children. Katie Lynn, our server, answer all of the children's questions with a smile. The menu is extensive but he helped guide us through the options. My adult lunch mate enjoyed his Caesar salad with blackened salmon. It was light but flavorful. The children and I settled for tasty cheeseburgers. No complaints! And that makes for a great lunch. We will return (sans children) to try bar, hockey table, games and watch sports on the multiple TV screens.

Served us UNDERcooked chicken wings! They better pray I don't get sick as I ate two wings before I noticed! Two stars because they offered to remake it and the manager apologized and removed it from our check.

Great service! They sit you right away unlike most flannigans because it is a more family oriented flannys. I always have the rib rolls they are amazing. Very good happy hour. Only bad thing I could say would be they close earlier 1:00am BUT I would take it back because the waiters are patient and won't kick you out let you know when it's last call I was there till 2:00am

It's primarily a bar with lots of televisions, loud for crowds and kids, food is simple and dependable, usually a long wait. It's a chain and can be fun with a crowd.

My bf hates seafood but somehow I convince him to come here....visited on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered their huge plate of nachos and a combo order of ribs with fried shrimp. Nachos are way better than they used to be. I had some two years back and the chips were weirdly stuck together and lettuce was old....this plate was awesome and fresh ingredients too. The ribs are truly fall off the bone meat and well seasoned too. Service was very nice, I'm always on the lookout for a good waitress or waiter. My only complaint is when I visit during the day, my eyes burn the second I leave cus the restaurant is so dark (yet still well lit!) Will always come back.

Great casual family spot. Menu has something for everyone. Fried shrimp and the Fire cracker shrimp salad is delicious too.

I'll start by saying thank you for pouring a full glass of wine. Some places pour such a pathetic amount. Like a sip. I went on a Thursday afternoon. No line no waiting. Had the chicken Philly. Came out hot and gooy with cheese. Loved it. My son had kid ribs. Very hot and tender. The whole experience was great. My waiter and waiter in training were very attentive and nice. My whole experience today was very positive.

I like this location. The service is alway great and so is the ambiance. I had the rib rolls a few Stellas, while i watched the game. No complaints. The rib rolls were delicious by the way.

An awesome place to watch the games and eat some ribs. The ribs are must. The service is usually just okay, but at least there are plenty of tvs and a few arcade games including an air hockey table to play if there's a wait to be seated.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was my first time coming to this particular Flanigan's. My friend and I ordered the Dolphin fingers to start off.... Delicious! and then I had the Texas Burger... talk about an explosion of flavor! My mouth was watering... I couldn't finish it, of course. The drinks were awesome as well. I want to thank our waitress, Eileen she was quick to bring us our food and drinks :-)

This Flanigan's is just as good if not better than the others. Conveniently located in Suniland Mall (Pinecrest) this restaurant offers everything a girl could ask for - fantastic happy hour specials (half off), delicious baby back ribs (the best I've ever had), and chicken wings that always come out hot and juicy. When I come to Flanigan's I always know that my tummy will be leaving satisfied and full. There is usually a wait for a table, but we do not mind sitting at the bar and meeting new people. Unfortunately, you can't make a reservation but the wait on the weekends and evenings is definitely worth the wait. I highly suggest you to try their chicken wings naked with hot sauce and blue cheese, the full rack of Baby Back Ribs (what they are famous for) along with french fries or a baked potato. I also really like their shoe string onion rings. And if you have the room for dessert, the brown with ice cream and Kit Kat to die for (and worth the calories too); Just share it with the table so you don't feel as guilty. Their servers are always friendly and you rarely have to wait long for your food to be served. If you've never tried their ribs, then go to Flanigans now and order some. I promise that you will thank me later.

Flannigans is always my favorite. The rib rolls are amazing. I love the blackened dolphin salad with balsamic dressing. If you are looking to be a little less healthy the philly cheese steak is awesome. Also their ribs fall right off the bone. The best part is dessert.

  • Salvatore S.

Flanigans is always good. Ribs area amazing. Kids live the food and stuff they give them with which to play. Beer is always cold. Don't miss it, especially if you are from out of town.

Honestly, I love Flanigan's more than a local chain restaurant probably should be loved, but I can't help it. Yeah, the place is insanely dark on the inside and it looks like you're eating/drinking in an old wooden pirate ship, and yet it's still great. The food is completely inconsistent when I go ranging from excellent to horrible....and yet it's still great. The quality of their drinks is completely inconsistent....and yet it's still great. I've been eating here for more than 7 years, and during that time I've just had really good memories at Flanigan's. It's where I went for lunch during my lunch breaks in high school. It's where I watched the Heat games with my friends when we won two titles and very nearly won a third. It's where I can have a good meal and get a nice buzz going for $20 (their 50% off all alcohol special after 9 is unbeatable...and probably irresponsible but I'M YOUNG AND I'M GOING TO LIVE FOREVER). It may not always be the best place, but its highs are very high for a cheap bar and grill. I just chose the Flanigan's I frequented most to review, but I've been to all of them. Except for the Flanigan's in Doral (WHICH SHOULD BE CONDEMNED AND SET ON FIRE TO PURIFY THE GROUND IT WAS BUILT UPON) they're all pretty good or great. I've had probably 80% of the menu, and it's all pretty good even if it'll never be the best at any one category (although the curly fries and sweet potato fries with cinnamon are unique). Yeah, the quality may not always be consistent, but what is consistent is that I have a good time here every single time I go, and I think that's what's most important.

Bar none, the BEST BURGERS IN TOWN, period. The best part is you can order the meat any temperature you want. I get the Texas Burger medium rare. Yum...! Consistently great at all Flanigan's locations.

It's not easy to get five stars in my book BUT after my experience last night they deserve it! Everything I ate was AMAZING! We had lemonades (good), followed by the Tumbleweed Onions as an appetizer. They were crispy and very good! I couldn't make up my mind in what to eat but I finally settled for the Chicken Sticker dinner with a loaded baked potato. The breaking used for the chicken tenders was excellent and since I asked for mild sauce on top it gave it the perfect kick. Just delicious!! My 9 year old decided to get the Half Rack Ribs with white rice and black beans. She loved it. The black beans were delicious and the meat from the ribs really fell off the bone. YUM!! I can't believe their black beans were better than Sergio's which is a Latin restaurant. We had dinner there the week before and there is NO comparison. My hubby had the Half BBQ Chicken with a baked potato with only butter & sour cream. He said the chicken was juicy and very tasty. My other daughter had the BBQ Chicken Breast sandwich. It was huge!! It was a whole breast butterflied. And very tender, juicy and tasty with the BBQ sauce layered in top. For dessert we had the Banzai Brownie and as expected it was "to die for"! Gooey, warm brownie with a few scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with delicious hot fudge and whipped cream! The perfect ending to a PERFECT meal!!

Love Flanigans. Why the 3 Stars? Service. Service here is was slow to non-existent. No refills, no napkins, no silverware, I think you get my drift. Food was good. The lunch specials are great and so is the Happy Hour. This location is a little dark but larger than the others in the area.

I come here during lunch with coworkers and the food has always been cooked to order and fresh. There wings are delicious and they have cheap lunch portions that will not leave you hungry. The only complaint is that it is always packed and service is a little slow.

We went there to watch one of the Miami Hear playoffs game. You get a number and you're called once your table is ready. Wait is acceptable, there is some stuff to watch in the meantime like a fish tank and some water-related memorabilia. Food is actually quite good and price is more than right. Service is excellent. Will definitely come back.

I like this Flanigans for lunch if I'm working in this area or just in the area. I haven't dined in for dinner always lunch and my food comes out quickly and my drinks be on point. The service is quick and efficient as well. I sit at the bar so I can't comment on the service at tables.

My wife used to work for Flanigan's so I couldn't wait to come here. The food was excellent but the service wasn't great. Our server was slow, inexperienced and inattentive. We had to wait to order our food and then had to wait forever to get our check. Another server passed by and saw us waiting and was very friendly and even gave her feedback and she STILL went and took orders from another table before getting us our check. We could very easily have pulled the "Dine n' Dash" if my wife didn't still know people that work here. You know it's bad when the other servers have to run out all of her orders to the other tables just to pick up her slack. I get that it's Friday night and it gets busy but you don't neglect your table like that. And she barely had any communication skills. She didn't say a word when she finally took our payment, obviously she knew we had been waiting and was aware of the fact. The least she could have said was "I'm sorry" but said nothing. Oh well. Your loss on the tip honey. Still giving it 4 stars for the food which was very good and the prices are very reasonable compared to places like Red Lobster and Cheesecake Factory. The grilled Mahi Mahi dolphin was very good and so were the sweet potato fries. Our server must have been new, inexperienced, or just should be in some other line of work because she obviously wasn't a good fit for Flanigan's. Your milage may vary. I'll definitely go back.

The sweet aroma of fresh grilled burgers and buffalo wings can be soaked in before you even enter this upbeat facility. The staff are very friendly, and anyone working will assist you with whatever you need. The "Rockin Rib Rolls" are a MUST try! Southern inspired egg rolls STUFFED with yummy BBQ pulled pork... definitely enough to share between at least 2 people! I have tried every burger on their menu and they are ALL great! My personal favorite is the Caribbean Burger, smothered in their homemade BBQ sauce. Do you love sweet potato's? YOU MUST TRY THEIR SWEET POTATO FRIES. I am a huge sweet potato fan and have to order Sweet Potato fries wherever they are offered and these definitely made my top three best! The WINGS. WOW. They are HUGE! They have so much meat on them compared to other places that give you what seems to barely have any meat on huge bones! EDIT: (3/13/14) I originally gave this location 5 stars but after eating there for lunch for the first time, I demoted it to four stars because the waiter was absolutely terrible. He charged us for double the amount of food we ordered and other things that we never asked for as bringing out our food cold (that we ended up sending back). We ended up giving another server a tip because she helped us for 90% of our dining experience.

This place is really cool. Definitely fishing themed, but not overpoweringly so, and it doesn't look dirty as many over-themed restaurants can. It is first and foremost a bar, even though there are a ton of booths in the establishment. The burgers, pasta, and ribs are awesome and totally worth the price. All of the portions here are large, so come hungry! The fish sandwiches and dishes and awesome and huge. The barbecue sauce I was a little disappointed with, as it was sweet and tomatoey, where I am more partial to a spicy, smoky flavor. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating, and do their best to treat you like family. Excellent draft beer choices and everything is always super fresh. Will definitely be going back!

Flanigans is a South Florida institution. This is a review for the Pinecrest location in the Suniland Plaza. I really love the neighborhood feeling and always the great food at Flanigans. Their tuna is among the best I've ever tried and is one of their house specialties. Service was adequate. Server had an extremely boring personality and was scripted and was constantly trying to upsell which is a big turnoff. Also, all of their menus and marketing are gaudy and cheap looking. Doesn't really reflect the quality of food which is good. I'd go back but would ask for a different server.

I have been coming here for years, I will admit it's been several months since I've come for dinner/drinks, that being said, the biggest attraction was the familiarity of the staff and the consistency of the food. We came to eat about here about 4 weeks ago and although the service was good the food was horrendous. Today we decided to go by to have some drinks.....service was good, unfortunately we only recognized 1 of the employees. I know there is reasons for change and that staff rotates, but corporate America needs to recognize that people keep coming back for ok food but great service. Changing staff for what might be perceived as an issue is not the answer. The only reason we kept coming back is because we knew the staff.... and they knew us. Today I showed up to have a couple of drinks to "kill time" and noticed there was a 6'6 security guard watching over the bar.....really it's Pinecrest....... That being said maybe you are trying to attract a different crowd....., well congrats, you have, good luck to you, thankfully there are other late night bars available !!!!

This was my first time in the place and it was OK. Their tap selection is very average. Basically your typical big three crap beers and a few others. I will admit that I am a craft beer junkie so I was disappointed. I had the dolphin fish and it was good but nothing that will knock your socks off. The bartender (Adrian) was outstanding. He was very welcoming, attentive and got everything you needed very quickly. Would I go back to the place - yes I would. It's not a bad place at all but also nothing spectacular.

Next visit bcuz my husband loooves this place ill stick to the bar n deserts lol ... atmosphere is great, everyone is great! I just happen to have a bad effect in a ingredient they use for cooking ...

Good Local Bar One of their new locations in Pinecrest. The inside is just like any other Flanigans but brand new. They have great lunch specials during the week. I Get the Big Daddy burger with curly fries or 10 wings with rice and black beans. For $5.99 You Can't Go Wrong! They also have 50% Off All Alcohol and Beer after 9 pm. They also make kick ass BBQ Ribs! Their BBQ Sauce Rocks! Plenty of TVs to watch all your favorite sporting events. Great for groups, families, and kids. The staff is very friendly and place is clean as well as the bathrooms.

I always love Flanigan's. I don't live near one anymore, but whenever I'm visiting South Florida, I enjoy coming here for lunch. My favorite is the chicken philly sandwich. It's basically a cheesesteak sandwich with chicken instead of steak. I love mine with mushrooms and onions on it, which this place offers. It's is absolutely huge and delicious, and comes with delicious, seasoned curly fries. The wings are also great here, as is their happy hour! At night they offer cheap appetizers and drinks, which is great if you want to come in and watch a game. I'd recommend this place to anyone for some delicious food.

I was a veryyy bad Cuban today..I ate at Fidel's restaurant today, and damn it, it was good! If you refer to my "Don't Tell Anybody but", to this day my parents never set foot in a Flanigan's because their logo bears a passing resemblance to "El Comandante". However, I was craving ribs since the Pub Crawl last night and know that ribs are one of their specialties, so I decided to "break the embargo". What food shortages in Cuba? They offered me extra BBQ sauce right off the bat without me asking for it. That alone puts them in 5-star category for me! I started with potato skins which were crisp, warm and had a nice spread of cheese and bacon bits on it. Being as health conscious as can be, I used very little of the side sour cream. I didn't need to, since the skins were tasty in and of themselves. My main course was a half rack of ribs, soaked in heavenly bbq sauce (which I added some of the offered one). The meat was fall-off-the-fork juicy and delicious. The curly fries were funny looking and delicious. They weren't greasy and were nicely enhanced with BBQ sauce. Of course I finished the meal with Diet Pepsi in the big green cup with Fidel (I mean Flanigan's) smiling mug. This being Labor Day weekend, I have to send kudos to my very friendly waitress Lorena. Viva La Rib Revolution..I'll be back!

We were there at their happy hour (which starts from 9pm) so for 4 pint of great draft beers and a big awesome nacho chips we paid only 22$! Make sure to try their nacho chips!

Service was on the slow side, the music was awful, and the food was meh. I have been to other Flanigan's locations (like the North Miami one) where I got better service and a quarter of a chicken that actually DID resemble a quarter of a chicken, not the quarter of a cornish hen. I ended up eating my salad with barely any dressing as the waitress couldn't be bothered to come by and check on us for at least 30 minutes. And this was on a weekday! I guess if you're not ordering $40+ of food, you're not worthy of decent service here.

While visiting from out of town, my dad suggested we all load up and hit Flanigan's for dinner. We had a pretty large party, but they did an excellent job! Our waiter was amazing and kept our drinks full and was always around. He was more than happy to take a couple of pictures for us too! Our food was great and everyone left more than satisfied. Usually with 10 people at the table you can expect the food to come out somewhat staggered and not so hot, but that was not the case at all! The kids were more than occupied with their puzzles and just wandering around looking at the decor. Plus they just HAD to take their cups with them.

  • Vane V.

My favorite flannigans!! I've never had to wait to be seated. The waitresses are awesome. The food is AMAZING!!! It's worth the drive for me, since I'm coming from South Miami. Anyways, try the wings!! So worth it

It is only since I've left South Florida that I've realized just how good, and what a good bargain, Flanigan's is. Flanigan's is a local sports bar and restaurant, begun by Joe "Big Daddy" Flanigan, as a string of Liquor Stores and Lounges over 50 years ago. The lounges evolved into sports bars, and there are now over 20 locations in the South Florida area. They also own Big Daddy's Liquor stores. The sons of "Big Daddy" Joe Flanigan are still involved in the daily operations of all the stores. Flanigan's prides itself on homemade dishes, and most recipes are developed and prepared in-house. They claim to have no microwaves in their kitchens, which these days is a real rarity. The quality and quantity of their food far surpasses the average sports bar. Their burgers are ten ounces- That's over HALF a POUND! They are also hand-pattied in-house. Their Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs are 14 bones long. Their steaks are USDA Choice Grade, and Hand-Cut, once again, In-House. This is the sort of thing you'd expect from a $36-a-steak Uppity Steakhouse. Their fish are delivered whole, and once again, filet'd in house. They have $1.50 well drinks during Happy Hour, which is ALL DAY until 6 pm. Football Weekends bring $.99 Pints of Beer. Wow. After many years of restaurant visits, I can definitely say this is NOT the norm. Flanigan's is best known for their Baby Back Ribs. They have gathered a cult-like following in the area, and the restaurants sell One Million Pounds of Baby Backs per year. Woah. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, the sauce is sweet and sticky, and the free side of coleslaw is a nice touch as well. TIP: Ribs can be ordered in a "Joe's Meal Deal" which will include a caesar salad, garlic rolls, a side, AND A FREE BEER! (Or soda. If you're so inclined.) The Wings: I've spent my post-college life comparing every wing I've eaten to Flanigan's Wings. They are "unbreaded" and meaty, deep fried crisp, and tossed in sauce and butter as any good wing is. I've not yet found one that can live up. BONUS: On Wednesday, you get 10 free wings with every pitcher you purchase! (Even soda, for the kidlets!) Show me someplace else that does THAT! (No, really, please, show me someplace. Someplace near where I live. Seriously. I'd be there in a heartbeat!) Also as you've read on Yelp, on Monday's at Flanigan's, a ginormous Loaded Nachos (They are larger than your average infant. Not exaggerating.) come free with your pitcher, and on Tuesdays, a basket of Tumbleweed Onions. Fresh Dolphin: (Mahi Mahi to those of you who don't know it's the same fish. Different Ocean.) Flanigan's Dolphin is FRESH. Not FROZEN. And HUGE. My favorite is the 12oz Dolphin Francaise over Dirty Rice. Nom. Nom. Nom. That's what they're KNOWN for. The following are some of MY Faves, which are overshadowed by Flanigan's Rib Fame, but really shouldn't be. Smoked Fish Dip: Honestly one of the best I've had. Not too mayo-ey, served with freshly made tortilla chips and lemon. (Zap it up with some Tabasco Sauce. Trust me.) Prime Rib: Again with the USDA Choice Beef. This should NOT be missed. Slow-Roasted, tender-like-buttah, dripping with juices, horseradish sauce and Au Jus... DROOL! It usually runs out, so it MUST be good! TIP: Check their Lunch Specials Boards for the "Prime Dip Sandwich" It's a rarity, because there's rarely any left over Prime Rib... but when there is, snatch this sandwich up as soon as you can. Dip it in Au Jus, and let it dribble down your chin. (Yes, Surprise, Most Restaurant's "Specials" are just Last Night's Leftovers. Deal With It.) Lemon Chicken and Pasta: NOTE: This is NOT for anyone on a low-carb, low-fat, low-cholesterol diet. This is an indulgence. But MAN, it's a good one! Chicken Breast sauteed in Lemon Pepper Cream Sauce and served over lingune with garlic rolls. (Try it over their Dirty Rice, too!) It's divine, fattening, creamy rich heaven. Even their desserts are good. (If you can make room for it!) They are not homemade, but are delivered from Michael Raymond Desserts, a long time local institution with a great reputation. Check out the house-made-to-order Banzai Brownie, a towering cold-ferno of Brownie, Huge Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, and Kit Kat Bars, Doused in Chocolate Sauce. Overload? Yeah. Bring Friends. Flanigan's is a great place, from a Football-Fan Crazed Sunday Afternoon, to a Family Dinner with the Kids (They have a decent Kidlet Menu with toys to distract the young'ns.) I even remember High School dates here...and late College Nights too (The Coconut Grove Location is open till 5 am.) It's a great all around joint. If someone could send Mr. Flanigan a note, asking him to open one out here in Denver for me, that'd be great. Mmkay, Thanks.

Whether you love it or hate it, I love this place! There ribs are a must and I love their half off drinks after 9 PM :) It's true what most people say, some days/nights they have great or bad customer service and some day/nights they have great or bad food or drinks. But, I don't care. I still love this place. It's always fun here!

Your home away from home away from home away from home. Flannigans is that bar your typical sitcom characters hang out at frequently. (This Flanigans is less grimy than the one on 88th street and the crowd is less obnoxious. Maybe it's that Pinecrest charm but I'm just grateful it's on the way home from work.) Flanigans is an awesome choice to go get late night drinks and food with a group of friends. I really like the ambiance, it's pretty organized for a Flanigans, and our wait time is never more than 15 minutes. There's also a 50% off drinks and beer after 9 PM special, and that's my favorite part of coming here. (does anyone go to Flanigans before 9 though?!) Rum & Coke, always. Food's great. Order the rib rolls or chicken strips. You won't regret it. They also have Mexican Monday (free loaded nachos with your first pitcher of beer, soda, lemonade or iced tea), Tumbleweed Tuesday (free basket of tumbleweed onions), and Wing-it Wednesday (free wings with a pitcher of beer) Customer Service is hit and miss. Sometimes we get awesome service but the last two times have been pretty lame. EXAMPLES: Incident 1: Our waitress kept mentioning the tip. "So, the tip is separate right?" or "Do you want a calculator for tip" or "if I separate the checks the tip will be separate also, remember that." Shut up. We get it. I find it pretty crass when a server mentions the tip, let alone three times. Incident 2: Our waitress was pretty friendly, but she made one huge irreversible error. She didn't mention last call, at all. Not an hour before, not 30 minutes before, not even 5 minutes before. She just came to us and essentially said "sorry last call was 10 minutes ago guys lol x0x0x0". That's a HUGE mistake in my book. If you knew we're there for drinks, and we're ordering drinks, wouldn't you think to remind us of last call, at least once? The business gets more money, the waitress gets more money, and we get our drinks. Everyone would be happy, but that wasn't the case. She just awkwardly kept telling us last call already passed. We were very disappointed when she said there's nothing she can do so we signed our checks and left. I looked past this though, as she appeared new. No matter the experiences with the servers, the food's always great and we generally always have a good time. I'll be back soon.

I have never been a fan of the Flanigan's establishments. Nothing has ever blown me away besides the huge seafood possibilities to order. My first visit to this one wasn't anything impressive either. The indoor atmosphere is really nice, I guess, in that log-cabin homey, bar type of feel. The staff was nice too. But the food was nothing special. I ordered the appetizer of wine covered clams and they were over cooked and bland. No one offered to help me out and eat them with me. And then I got the clam chowder, which was too chunky and tasted just like Campbell's. I wasn't impressed at all. Unless someone else begs me to come here, I don't think I'd go back.

I am on this huge wing kick. For some reason, I can't get enough wings lately. Anyway, I ate wings like four times this week and I have to say Flanigan's might have the best in the area. Not too saucy, not too greasy, and just enough spice. We went there Saturday afternoon and there was a 15 minute wait. WTF? for Flanigans? It ended up only being ten minutes so that was cool. Once we were in we saw that every table had a couple of snot urchins there. Isn't Flanigan's bar? Luckily none of the kids where making too much noise, so our day wasn't ruined. Service was as good as can be, the wings were awesome and the beer was cold. We'll be back.

My family and I religiously go there when we have rib cravings. The rest of their menu is okay. What stands out are the ribs. The sauce is delicious!!! Don't forget to keep your green plastic cups for refills next time you dine! It saves $$$.

Seriously, does flanigans have anything bad on their menu?!? I have failed to try something not AWESOME here. The chicken wings are great, the burgers are off the charts as well.

Came here last night just to drink and "watch" the Lakers vs Celtics game. We wanted to sit at the bar but It was full, so get there earlier if you want a spot. It only took about five minutes of waiting time to be seated in a booth, so it wasn't bad. 50% off of drinks so our bill came out to $14 for 8 Yeunglings pints. I'll come back again and try some of their food. But this place is cool if you just wanna drink and watch sports.

This is my local watering hole. The food at Flannigans is outstanding, but the service and ambiance is different at every Flannigans. Great beer and drink specials after 9 pm. However, last time I went my girlfriend ordered a dirty martini, well it seems like they didnt clean the mixer and she found pieces of a lemon inside the martini which is not cool. I love the rockin rib rolls but I can't have these anymore. Grant you, I can eat rocks if I had too, but the heartburn I get when eating these rib roll is horrendous. i just think they are saturdated in grease and oil. I am a young healthy guy. I have never had to give up any foods for health reasons, but this one is a must. The ribs are amongst the best. I rather have ribs at Flannigans than at Shorty's, Tony Romas, and Chilis. They are good. Plus they have a plate that has salmon and, dirty rice, and vegatables that is really good. The garlic rolls are awesome to.

45 minutes for a dried out burger and the smell of roach spray permeating the air. . .not your usual Flanigans experience as they usually have great food at a great price, but if you're driving by this one. . . .keep driving.

This place is terrible. Slow service. When food finally arrived the dolphin on my salad was ice cold. Waiter didn't care. Manager never came by. Will not be back. This place was once a great option in neighborhood but never again.

This is my go-to place when I'm craving dirty food or if I just want to get drunk cheap. After 9pm is happy hours to you can bet to see me there around then! Being a regular, a lot of the staff probably recognizes me now. Those bartenders make AMAZING drinks. Their blue Hawaiians are to die for and their soft gin fizz and just so good. Mon-Wed they have good food specials as well. When I'm out with friends I love getting the loaded nachos and just munching away while I slowly lose my sobriety. The servers are super awesome and fun too! They know how to let you have a good time. They'll act like friends and just let you enjoy yourself. I've even gotten one of the guys to booty-dance with me inbetween tables! Come in with a good attitude and they'll return it! Overall, if you're looking to just chill out and have a good time eating out with friends then I definitely recommend this Flannigans. Their food really hits the spots and the bartenders make good drinks. The music is good, the atmosphere is upbeat and fun, and your wallet wont be crying by the end of the night.

Flanigan's has the best ribs around. Hands down. I've never gotten anything OTHER than the ribs here because, honestly, the ribs are THAT good. My family gets take out from Flanigan's for every special occasion. The food is consistently delicious and hits the spot every time. Call ahead and place your order because this place is always packed!

Flanigan's has the best ribs. Get the whole slab, forget the half. Get a baked potato with butter and sour cream to go with it. Enough said!

I'm writing this review out of disgust and that every other flanigans experience has been excellent. Who can beat a 4.99 lunch special... well actually at this location its 5.99...what the heck is that about... but put that to side for now... Here is the problem.... This bartender was friendly but her shirt was about 5 inches too short and not tucked in. Ok I'm like any guy and love to see T&A but not when I'm eating wings and have to get back to work in 20 mins... it took me an hour to eat a 10 minute meal... and half of it was from service... Not that she was an eyesore but seriously I think waitresses at a place like this should have their shirts tucked in. All the other waitresses had them tucked in... and of course this one has a belly ring...as Key would say "C'mon MAN!" I want to eat some wings and curly fries not see a curly ring inside a bellybutton! The wings were on point as always though. Oh and to clarify DUDE she thought she was hot but she was not at all and had a stomach that was nowhere near flat. That explains it.

Yum, yum, yum.. I was a bad girl & hadn't eaten anything all day. Not good to come here when you're starving (or any place at all). The grilled tilapia on a kaiser roll was my choice along with a baked potato. It was very satisfying & somewhat healthy. Our server Jeff was oober sweet & super attentive. I felt like I known him for years. Overall the food here is good but what really foots the bill is the hospitality. They treat you more like family rather than a customer.

One of my favorite Restaurants! The best wings ever and NACHOS!

Went to this restaurant with one other person and had a great time for a great price. We went on a Monday and got free nachos with our pitcher of beer (ordered Stella for $13). After already being very full from the nachos (they were very big and very delicious--careful vegetarians there is meat on them), we ordered our lunch. I got the pasta salad with hot chicken strips(5.99+3.99) and my date got the talapia sandwich from the lunch menu (5.99 with the purchase of a soda). There was so much food left over and we had to take two boxes home with us. The food was very delicious and very worth the price. As far as the atmosphere goes, it was a bit loud but very fun. We sat close to the bar where adults were enjoying a drink, but kids were still with the families close by. It was nice how both families and adults were able to enjoy a good meal for a good price. We would definitely return. Next time, maybe try something different since it all looked so good.

I can't get enough Flanigans. The food is always consistent and the staff is top notch. I eat here several times a week, I can't help it with all the deals and specials they have. Compared to other similar concepts in the area I think Flanigans offers the best food and value around. The only thing I ever had and didn't like was the steak, it was just too salty. I will give it a shot again, maybe I had a fluke steak. This location doesn't stay open as late as others which has disappointed me a few times.

Everything here is just like the others except it's slightly newer. The food is still great and filling. The staff is always very nice and eager to please. The specials are incredible. There are always great deals at any time of the day. Great place to watch games and to bring kids. This is one of Big Girls' favorite places to visit. You cannot go wrong with the wings, fries, ribs or burgers. Enjoy! :^)

Love the ribs! I've been going to Flanigans for years and their ribs never disappoint me. Their tumbleweed onions are super good too. They always have great happy hour specials and discounts on other meals. My last time here, Zach was our waitor and he was excellent. Darrion, the manager even put the Yankees game on for me! :) Great for late night cravings.

Best ribs I have ever had! This is the reason I go to Flanigan's. The ribs fall right off the bone and are perfectly cooked and seasoned. I get ribs with a side of dirty rice and I always leave happy. I've tried the Rockin Rib Rolls too which are decent and the nachos are great for a big group. I enjoy the specials that Flanigan's offers, for example, on Mondays if buy a pitcher of anything (soda, beer, ice tea) you'll get a free order of nachos. They do this kind of promotion all week and have happy hour daily. It's your typical sports bar, so you can invision the decor and atmosphere on game nights. The waitstaff has always been super friendly and attentive, and each time I've gone, my table gets a visit from the manager. Great place for a relaxed group dinner! Update 7/11: Was feeling crazy and tried the chicken Philly...another hit with me!

  • Drew H.

I have eaten here several times in the past and the food was always good but I always overlooked the drinking factor at this place. So that Is what I set out to do on a Wednesday, get drunk at a Flanigan's. They actually have good drink specials with the all night happy hour. All the drinks were half off excluding wine bottles or pitchers of beer which was awesome because you could do it on ANY drink. We started off with a pitcher, which comes with 10 free buffalo wings (but is like $11). After that we just hit the 50% off drinks. This place is pretty chill for a weeknight, we just BS'd there and watched college basketball. The downside is they close at 12

The main attraction for me at Flanigan's: DELICIOUS WINGS. [commence excessive salivation and mild drooling] I have gone to Flanigan's a number of times during happy hour (half-priced drinks ftw!), but I mainly go to nom on those fantastic fried fowl appendages. We order them naked (that's Flanigan's-speak for without breading) and SOS (sauces on the side!), and then I begin to launch my face into a plate of juicy, crispy, meaty wings. If you see me at Flanigan's as the wings reach my table, I suggest you look away because I take no prisoners when I go at those wings. Service at Flanigan's is generally attentive and friendly. I have also had their blackened mahi-mahi sandwich which was tasty and a good value. And apparently they have pretty decent ribs too (who knew?). The bar can get pretty crowded during HH, so go early if you want a table. But yeah.......bottom line for me here is some damn good wings. Nuff said.

Great happy hour, You can't beat there, buy a pitcher and get 10 wings free deal. Place is chill, nice place to hang out at or to watch a football game. Caro the waitress is cool and pretty hot. Love it. The only thing I would change is 1/ extend theirs hours beyond 12 (not there fault, its the city of pinecreast ) 2/ You need some more chicks

  • Carolyn D.

I visit this Flanigan's about once a month. Their food is tasty. Their service is quick (with the exception of game nights). They have specials like: Mexican Monday, Tumbleweed Tuesday, and Wing-it Wednesday. You buy the "appetizer-of-the-night" and receive a free pitcher of whatever you fancy. I go with friends and split the bill. We get out of there for pretty cheap! Foods I particularly favor there include: Caesar salad Fish dip Chicken Philly Rib Rolls Caribbean Burger The only con - Sometimes the wait is too long!

This will be a very unique review. Food is good...no doubt. But price is a factor. The lunch deal is unbelievable...4.99 for eight choices not including a drink. That, my friends, is a steal. But there night menu is overpriced for what you get. Thus, the three stars.

Dearest Flanigan's, I have watched many a sports game here and will have to say that this is one of my preferred Flanigan's locations. You are always clean and busy, but if there's a wait, it's never for too long. There are TVs everywhere, which is a major plus during an important game; wherever you're sitting, you'll be able to watch! Came here last night with the BF to catch the Marlins then the Heat, and to have some dinner. Mondays = Mexican Mondays, where if you buy a pitcher of anything (beer, soda, tea) you get a free Loaded Nachos! Woooo! So you know we couldn't pass up that opportunity. Then I ordered the Steamers, my FAVE, and we also shared Dolphin Fingers and a dinner salad. The DF were phenomenal and SUPER fresh. Probably the best DF I've had by far. :) Our server Shane was AWESOME!!! Super funny and friendly; he told us all of the specials and deals. He changed the channel so we could watch Heat pre-game shows, and he even made sure to grab a plastic bag with ice for our pitcher to stay cold. The manager on duty, who's name I didn't catch, was also super friendly, and attentive, checking on everyone's tables, saying hello, and striking up a conversation. The service was on point and pleasant, which is a nice and refreshing thing to see in Miami. We stayed to finish our pitcher and watched the first quarter of the Heat game. We were never rushed, which was nice, as I knew they probably wanted us to leave since there was already a wait forming out front. Thanks Flanigan's for being that neighborhood friendly bar that we all expect you to be! Lots of Love, Sabrina*

I have been to several Flanigan's in Dade. My first one was in the Grove one of the smaller ones. This one is the best. You have 55" flat screen everywhere A large bar. Clean restrooms all the time I come here at least twice a month since they opened. Super-fast service all the time. I normally read something when I'm waiting for my food I cannot do that here. If you like Flanigan's food you will like this one. There Philly Cheese Steak and Ribs are the best. I normally go to the one in Doral on 87Ave for lunch because I work next to it. So I do go there often and I've had most of their plates and they are all good. Good food constantly in all the Flannigan's I've been too. The one thing I wish for if they would add a sirloin cut to their Beef menu that would rock my world. Their NY Strip, Rib Eye and Prime rib does not do it for me. They have Bass and Harp on tap that makes up for it.

Have been eating at Flanigan since the late 80's, along with Monty's, Great food, Great memories, Great Old Grove stories , and late nights insanity. So now it's a chain. I still prefer Coconut Grove location and Pinecrest. I have had great service. Maybe a time or two, some worker has been new and stupid, and I don't pay attention, it's been around to long for me, and I know, workers come a go, managers come and go, But the Food, and it's cooking is the same, and when it is not, Do mention it, and it's taken care of quickly by whatever manager. Love the ribs, Prime rib, NY strip. ummmmmm.

My favorite "Flannies" location, where the wait is never very long and there's plenty of parking. Flannigans has the best ribs in Miami, served with curly fries. They also make some good burgers and chicken sandwiches. Mexican Mondays, you get a free order of nachos when you order a pitcher of anything (yes, even soda). Their nachos are good, too, as they even have ground beef. The Joe's Meal Deals are good, too, as you can order the ribs and get a cesar salad and some delicious garlic rolls.

  • Elle U.

Consistency is important and Flanigans is just that! Who wants to eat & pay for food that tastes horrible? Flanigan's is always on target w/ great tasting food. Bonus: Gotta love those big ol' green cups! My Favorite: Joes Meal Deal - Half Rack w/ fries! Gets you a salad, some rolls and of course a half rack w/ ribs. If you ask for a bun you can make yourself a lil sandwich! Don't forget to order yourself some Joe's rockin' rib Rolls!

This is one of the best places to eat in Miami and it is true because i was told by a lot of people and when i went and tried it out it was well said, there hamburgers are amazing and juicy and even though i have not had there ribs YET i have been told they are very good. The location and parking of this place is kind of bad but the food makes up for it then again the service was OK but most of them time it is decent enough specially for a place that is ALWAYS packed with people and this place is also open LATE.

I absolutely love Flanigan's! They have awesome food, great beer, sports on all the TV's and great prices. I can't ever remember having any kind of a bad experience here, it's always top notch. I love the fact that you get free chicken wings (which are incredible) when you order a pitcher of beer. Their burgers are off the charts good, and don't even get me started on their Flanigan's Shenanigans...Wow! There's no reason you should even think twice about going here.

I've been to a few locations and this is definitely my favorite, probably because it's the newest one I've been to. I give this place 5 stars for two reasons: wings and ribs. When I want ribs, I go here. When I want meaty tasty wings, I come here. The caesar salad is also among my favorite things, if I should feel like eating a vegetable. The cole slaw isn't bad either. Love the big green plastic cups!

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. It is not as great as the Coconut Grove location but it comes very close. I love the atmosphere which is a seafood restaurant type atmosphere with fish tanks, stuffed fish, and various marine decorations. It also has a bar with numerous tvs which is great for sporting events. You can also eat at the bar. The menu is filled with many traditional food items such as fish, ribs, chicken, and sandwiches such as Philly cheesesteak. My favorite is the full rack of ribs. I have never eaten anything at Flanigans that i did not enjoy tremendously. I would recommend to anyone.

Ate lunch there anf found the food to be ok, service was ok. Ordered chicken wings and a soup, the chicken wings were ok, only have them fried they should consider offering them grilled, and the soup was lukewarm at best.

  • Peter M.

You can read all of the other Flanigan's reviews and the food is as good here as all of the others. This location is much more of a family scene than the Coconut Grove version although the bar can be quite lively. There is often a wait for a table on weekend nights, but it is never as long as they tell you.

  • Jerry G.

We visit the Pinecrest Flanagan's on most Friday nights. I can also speak for the Coconut Grove (27 Ave) location and Collins Avenue on Miami Beach. A very family-friendly place, with televisions everywhere tuned mostly into sports. A large bar is a crucial component at each location. A local chain, this is the best restaurant value in Miami-Dade county. And with all the visits, we're very rarely disappointed. Favorites are the dolphin sandwich/dinner (try it blackened-not too spicey), caesar burger, and (of course) the ribs. All excellent. The Grove location is the smallest of those listed, with a very small parking lot, but street parking available. The other locations mentioned have large parking lots.

The baby back ribs are to die for! My only bad experience was take out. When i came to pick up my order they didn't have it in the system and they argued that i must have called it into the wrong store and accepted no blame... PS I called it in to the right store.

  • Desiree M.

i like the ambiance at this location a lot but the food is not as good as the one in the grove. we went for lunch on a sunday and had to wait 25 minutes to get a booth. the waitress was clueless and brought me the wrong drink and forgot our appetizer. her excuse was that someone took my drink and my appetizer. the manager comped the appetizer and brought it after we finished eating. at least he tried. the portion of ribs was small (we had the 1/2 rack and the full rack) and they were not juicy at all. they were pretty dry but edible. the portion of fries was small and they were not fresh. really not thrilled this time but i'm sure i'll visit again at some point. love to watch the games here.

seeing it was early release, i decided to stop by with a few friends. it was around 12 30 (lunch time) so it was pretty packed. i was looking over the special lunch menu and was surprised at how cheap it was and at the items found on it. its actually quite good. anyway, i ended up waiting about 30 minutes and we got seated and ordered. the food took longer than it should have but i was with my friends so it didnt really phase me too much. i had ordered the philly cheese, which was alright but not great. id give it a 3 out of 5. i was expecting more from curly fries (thats my favorite) and then we went for dessert. it was the bonzai something something brownie with ice cream on top held up by kit kat bars. lol. quite good too but i actually expected more. once again, 3 out of 5. the price was pretty good. not too expensive. i enjoyed myself maybe i should have gotten a different item

Flanigan's itself is awesome. This location, however, is never as good as the original location on Bird and 27th ave. It closes earlier, the service is usually worse, and even the delicious food can sometimes not be cooked right. I've had several instances there where the service was terrible and took hours and then would come to me all wrong. Sometimes you come though and the service will be decent and the food will be awesome. It's not consistent like the original location which will always always give you the hottest most delicious food ever. Again, Flanigan's has the BEST ribs anywhere. The BEST. I went on a quest to find ribs as good as Flanigan's in New York, Miami, Orlando. I couldn't find any. Flanigan's simply has the best. They also have great burgers. Extremely juicy, big, and delicious. A key to their success is their barbeque sauce which is like no other that you have tried. I don't even use ketchup on my fries, I put their delicious barbeque sauce all over it. The Joe's Rockin Rib Roll's are great. It's pretty much bar food as good as you can ask for. This location closes at midnight on weekdays and later on weekends. The original one near the Grove stays up all night 7 days a week.

Flanigan's is a fine neighborhood, casual restaurant as far as food and service go. My one complaint is that the music is far too loud and interferes with conversations. We're fans of the burgers, fries, cole slaw and ribs. The fish is very inconsistent and the salads are diner quality. Love those onion straws though!

It's primarily a bar with lots of televisions, loud for crowds and kids, food is simple and dependable, usually a long wait. It's a chain and can be fun with a crowd.

Flanigans is always good. Ribs area amazing. Kids live the food and stuff they give them with which to play. Beer is always cold. Don't miss it, especially if you are from out of town.

Im prob the first to give this place a 2 star ... but its my opinion.. First when I was pregnant last year ate the nachos must say very great minus the jalapenos anyhoot a few hours later made me sick to my stomach ... figured it was due to my pregnancy! 2nd time around ate the chicken fingers/stickers with a salad and I must say I barfed to the maxx!!

My favorite flannigans!! I've never had to wait to be seated. The waitresses are awesome. The food is AMAZING!!! It's worth the drive for me, since I'm coming from South Miami. Anyways, try the wings!! So worth it

Mediocre services and great food. Best Philly cheesesteak in town! The curly fries are fantastic and so are the rib rolls.

The other locations mentioned have large parking lots.

i like the ambiance at this location a lot but the food is not as good as the one in the grove. we went for lunch on a sunday and had to wait 25 minutes to get a booth. the waitress was clueless and brought me the wrong drink and forgot our appetizer. her excuse was that someone took my drink and my appetizer. the manager comped the appetizer and brought it after we finished eating. at least he tried. the portion of ribs was small (we had the 1/2 rack and the full rack) and they were not juicy at all. they were pretty dry but edible. the portion of fries was small and they were not fresh. really not thrilled this time but i'm sure i'll visit again at some point. love to watch the games here.

The baby back ribs are to die for! My only bad experience was take out. When i came to pick up my order they didn't have it in the system and they argued that i must have called it into the wrong store and accepted no blame... PS I called it in to the right store.

seeing it was early release, i decided to stop by with a few friends. it was around 12 30 (lunch time) so it was pretty packed. i was looking over the special lunch menu and was surprised at how cheap it was and at the items found on it. its actually quite good. anyway, i ended up waiting about 30 minutes and we got seated and ordered. the food took longer than it should have but i was with my friends so it didnt really phase me too much. i had ordered the philly cheese, which was alright but not great. id give it a 3 out of 5. i was expecting more from curly fries (thats my favorite) and then we went for dessert. it was the bonzai something something brownie with ice cream on top held up by kit kat bars. lol. quite good too but i actually expected more. once again, 3 out of 5. the price was pretty good. not too expensive. i enjoyed myself maybe i should have gotten a different item
