There are a few times in my life that I sat down to write a restaurant review, and tonight is one of those days. However, the reasons are quite the opposite that my previous reviews. The most awful pizza experience ever. My family was hungry after a long day at Disney park, and saw this as slipped under our hotel room door. I figured it can't be that bad. Well I was wrong. It was bad. After I ordered they said it can take a while. Not sure what a while meant I asked and the guy said an hour at most. Two and a half hour later a guy showed up apologizing for being late. I would not have picked it up anyway, but my wife beat me to it. Needless to say pizza was cold as if it was sitting for an hour on the plate. However, most importantly, it tasted what you would expect from a subpar grocery store warmed up pie. Even the kids didn't finish their slices. In fact, if they were not that hungry I would have just thrown it away. We paid cash so no credit card was involved, as some reviewers have complained about not getting refund. If you come across these guys, definitely stay away from them. Not worth a penny, let alone $25 they charge for a large pie.

This is a new Italian restaurant that opened in June 2013. We saw a coupon for a $10 lunch for two that included two gourmet sandwiches and choices of soup (4 varieties) or salad with each. The sandwiches were huge on a very tasty ciabatta roll. My wife chose a tossed salad while I had a hot cup of pasta fagiol soup. While yelp is saying it was closed today is not true, obviously. When we come back to this area we do intend to visit L'italiano again. The sandwiches are truly gourmet and I can't believe how they can do this for just $10. As we were the only patrons in the restaurant at 12:30 PM I hope they are still around next time we come.

My boyfriend and I just ate there tonight. We got delivery, I got eggplant parm and he got salmon fettuccine alfredo. My eggplant was mushy and didn't even look like eggplant, the spaghetti that came with it was very tasteless and inedible. My boyfriends salmon alfredo was plain and nasty also. The bread was hard and the mozzarella sticks were also. The Cheesecake had a weird texture and was warm. We spent about $60 also, so not worth it, please save your time and money and go elsewhere.

It was pretty good and close to our hotel. My biggest gripe was they charged full price for a drink refill. What a rip! Other wise fairly inexpensive good food for families.

A 1 star rating is actually too generous! Just like the person who posted 19 days ago, I wished I had searched here first. They are also known as Orlando Brick Pizza. They slipped a delivery slip under our door at Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort. They advertise Speedy Delivery and best food I town which is a HUGE stretch. We ordered 4 subs w/fried, 30 wings a calzone, 2 cheese cakes, chocolate cake and tiramisu and were told it would be an hour delivery which we would have to met them at the entry gate because they aren't allowed on property, now we know why. We got a call and hour and a half later saying it would be another 10 minutes, 2 hours later we were still waiting. I called to talk to a manger and was told he wasn't there, when I questioned that she said he was busy and have us a $13.70 discount in a $93.70 bill. After we got our order back in the room we noticed that the pep, mush and cheese calzone was only cheese, the Italian sub was ham and turkey, they didn't bring extra Ranch which we requested and they told us there would before than we could use, the fries were cold and barely cooked, the cheesecake tasted terrible and they didn't bring the Tiramisu. I called back to talk to the manager again and was told he wasn't in but asked me to hold which I was on hold for 20 minutes. I called back and was immediately put on hold for another 10 minutes. I will call back again tomorrow and even drive there of I have too since I am here for another 3 days. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!

This place is terrible. We ordered a pizza from here expecting it to be good it was not it took an hour for our pizza to come. When it arrived it was cold and the wrong pizza we called back and told them this was not the pizza we order, they told us they would send the right pizza after two hours we still have no received the correct pizza will not be ordering from here again. If I could give it no stars I would.

Horrible service and greatly overpriced! Order one spaghetti dinner and one tuna sandwich, two drinks and dessert. The barely put any tuna on the bread, although they do give you toe pieces; spaghetti was good. Opened the dessert box and found cake instead of tiramisu but was charged for what I ordered, which was three dollars more. Called to straighten out, hoping to get my dessert. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and then, when they answered they kept talking on another phone and taking orders for five more minutes. I couldn't tell what was going on and they ignored me. Finally I spoke again and they said wait because another person would talk to me. When she finally got to me, she said there was no order from me but I read the invoice hand server numbers and she figured it out. I went through the pricing because it seemed I was overcharged. But they have another fee in addition to delivery which is for using a credit card (that's called cost of doing business people!) They didn't offer to deliver the dessert I order and I had to ask twice to be refunded and then she kind of snipped at me to say it would be 3-5 days before I would be refunded. Not a good vacation experience and we will avoid entirely from now on! Took two hours for delivery also!

I bought the Yelp deal for $50 worth for $25 and thought it was a good deal. I think in large part a lot of the negative reviews are due to time issues. Often these are people getting a deep dish pizza. I got takeout to go back to my room. They said 45 minutes, I waited about and hour and it took maybe another 10 minutes or so. A suggestion I would have for people getting one of these pies is to call in ahead of time and be patient because these are not traditional pizzas that take a couple minutes. They do take a while. Had the $20 appetizer platter and I liked it. Also got the meatball sub, which was excellent. We had leftovers in the fridge for days. The guy at the counter was from my area (Allentown, PA) and was a really nice guy. I think people need to be more patient and if you are in a hurry make sure you call prior so you don't get pissed. No reason to bury this place over something like that. Too often people so easily bury a business without thinking that this business greatly, along with all of the people who work there. If a place deserves it, by all means. If you do it because you think you are going to get a deep dish pie in 15 minutes, you are an idiot. The food is good here and they were friendly to me. Just be diligent about calling ahead for a deep dish or be patient. Didn't eat in, but the place looked cool.

Im visiting Orlando for a few days and I stopped in here and tried the deep dish Margerita pizza and it was amazing! It takes a little longer to cook but it was great! You should definitely try this place if you are in the area!

Updated 4/24/15 To the owner who says I am lying in public....I think that before you start to go off on me on Yelp you should really look at your other reviews, you will see that mine is in line with the other patrons who have been to your establishment. If you re-read my original posting, no where did it say I had delivery service. I was a walk-in customer. Your counter server is the one that quoted me the time of 1/2 hour to 40 minutes for my take-out order to be ready. Now, if this is an inaccurate time frame to give waiting take-out guests, then that is an employee training issue on your end. Your restaurant was not particularly busy the night I walked in. I know this because for a good portion of my wait time, I sat on the waiting bench in your lobby. If it had been busy, your servers wouldn't have had time to be at the front registers, standing around or sitting on the folding chairs looking at their phones or talking/laughing/joking with each for long periods of time before going back and checking on their tables/seated customers. One of your employees even told me that since my food was still going to be a while (and this was after the 40 minute wait mark), why don't I go across the highway and look at all of the shops or the rides. I work in the corporate office of a nationwide restaurant company here is Los Angeles, so I understand the industry quite well. And yes, I will say it again, your food was completely lack luster as was the service. My kids love pizza and ravioli from many different restaurants, but they wouldn't even touch yours. And the calamari was terrible, we have had amazing calamari at smaller establishments than your before. I am sorry if this offends you, but it is what we experienced from your establishment that evening. Again, dear sir, I am not lying in public as you have accused me of. I am stating our experience. Maybe you should have used my review and those before mine as learning and training opportunities for you and your staff. They can be used as a way to see how you can make everyone's experience better in the future. That would work out a lot better than trying to berate me on Yelp. I live in the Los Angeles area, which is a lot busier than Orlando, so please don't treat me like I am some kind of idiot. I will leave you with this: I wish you and your establishment well on your future business and I only hope that you treat your future and returning guest much more courteously.

We ordered takeout from here yesterday- I was skeptical due to some negative reviews I had read; they unfortunately were correct. Our food took almost 2 hours to arrive, even after calling the store to check on it. The pizza was completely cold and leaking watery contents out of the box upon arrival. Also ordered mozzarella sticks- they were completely cold and some of the sticks had absolutely no cheese inside. They did give us a small discount due to the extreme wait time which was kind but still extremely disappointed.

The food was unremarkable. We ordered a thin crust veggie pizza and a thick crust Al Capone. The thin crust tasted kind of like frozen pizza. The Al Capone had a ton of cheese but, just like the veggie, it had no tomato sauce and was bland. I checked Wikipedia and, yes, Chicago style pizza is supposed to have tomato sauce. For a pizza that cost more than I paid for my first car ($35) I would have expected more.

This was one of the worst dining experiences of my life...that's saying a lot. We were greeted quickly and we're treated very nicely until we were seated. They gave us the menu and then didn't hear from anybody for 25 minutes. I walked back up to tell them nobody had come yet. He got the waitress who came over and apologized for being so busy. There were only two other tables. So we asked for the wine list and they said they don't have one. That seemed pretty odd for a "Italian Ristorante". We ordered our drinks and she said she would be right back for our food order. We didn't see her again and left after 15 minutes

We called and placed an order for pick-up of a pizza and some breaded mushrooms. We were told it would be 15-20 minutes. We arrived at least 20 minutes from the time of the call (probably closer to 25). When we came in there was only one table in the dining area that had customers and the woman at the counter was on the phone. She made the "one moment" gesture with her hand. We assumed she was taking an order but it became obvious that she was on a personal call. After a few minutes of waiting, I said to her --- while she was still on the phone --- that we were there to pick up an order. We got the "one moment" gesture again. Another minute passed before she asked the person on the phone to hold-on and then asked us what we ordered. Then she went into the back to check on our order. When she came out she said it would be a few more minutes and got back on the phone. It was at least 15 minutes until our order was ready. I am guessing the order was never put in when we called. Then to make matters worse, no one apologized or was even pleasant to us as we stood waiting. The pizza was okay but only okay. The mushrooms were soggy. This place is awful.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The restaurant was empty, early afternoon for lunch service. We waited three or four minutes to be greeted, and then someone came from the back. There was no hello, just a statement that if we wanted a table we'd need to wait for them to clean it. We probably should have just left since they seemed surprised that they had customers. There were two other tables occupied at the restaurant and we ordered two salads. We waited, no joke, for twenty minutes for two salads. When the salads came, the waitress still hadn't brought our drinks. My friend had asked for no cheese on her salad, and it came loaded with cheese. We just asked the waitress to take the food back and we left to go to the Red Lobster across the street. Just avoid this place. They're never busy, but seem to have a hard time turning out correct orders or food in a timely manner.

The portions here are enormous, so you're pretty much getting a two-for-one deal with every item. Plus check their site for excellent discount deals. The food quality is very good here. Four of us shared an appetizer that included calamari, fried mozzarella and wings. Pretty standard stuff, but the entrees were notches higher, thankfully. Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Parmesan, and two small Deep Dish Pizzas (one was a Margherita and the other was an Al Capone) were ordered and enjoyed after the normal wait due to the deep dish pizzas. Very good ingredients in all, tasty and served with care. We all plan a return soon.

The food is rather good, good enough to order from their twice. Huge mistake! Both times that I ordered from their website I received an email saying that it would be approximately 45 before my food would be delivered. The first time, after an hour and a half I hadn't gotten my food. I called and was told that there was a computer glitch and they didn't get my order until when the email had said I would have my food. Completely understandable. Food arrived and it was a great cheeseburger and the chocolate cake was great. The second time, after two hours of waiting their website tracker said my food had already been delivered. I call and get put on hold while the girl looked up my order. She picks back up and says no phone order under my name exists and i reinformed her that I placed the order online and I get out on hold again. This time her manager picks back up and says that he's really sorry, he found my order and is calling the driver to see where it went. I get put on hold again. Then the girl picks up the phone and says that my order was never made and that it will be delivered in 20 minutes......I ask to speak the manager because at this point I am rather upset and she puts me hold again. She then re picks up the phone and says that the manager is going to give me a free soda, free chocolate cake, and a free salad and then hangs up the phone before I can say anything else. 30 minutes later my food shows up and I was given the wrong soda and didn't get my free salad (which at that point I honestly didn't care). This is a very strong case of fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...... There will definitely NOT be a third time.

I, like another reviewer from this list, didn't even eat anything from here. We ordered online for pick-up, got there, and they were very surprised and rude. Apparently they hadn't received our online order so we would have to wait 20 minutes for them to make it. No thanks.

We had Tina as our server she was one of the best servers I have ever had. The food was awesome and I loved the atmosphere. It was quiet when we were there at 8:15. My husband liked the calamari but I found it over cooked for my taste, even when we said its ok she insisted on getting a whole new order. The seafood pasta was awesome loaded with shrimp and bay scallops and mussels tons of flavor. I will be back I really want to try the lasagna.

During the Labor Day weekend I took my family to Orlando, FL for vacation. We decided that Italian food would be great before going to the movies, so we decided on L'italiano's. Upon entering we where seated immediately. The waiter got our drink orders, and retrieved them quickly. The tea was spoiled, so we decided on water. Now there was only two families in the restaurant as we arrived, and one was finishing up to leave. We placed our orders, and three other families came in. Needless to say all three received their meals, and finished them before my family. Once our dinners started to arrive they came out one at a time. My wife, and I did not get to eat, and the manager only could take 30% off my brother in law, and sister in law ticket. If I could rate this place a 0 I would. The worst experience I have ever received.

Took a break from Disney and stumbled upon this place right outside the Disney compound. The thin crust pizza was decent. However the chicken Alfredo was great I'm use to getting two tiny pieces of chicken at other higher end and commercialized Italian restaurants. Here I got a large piece of grilled chicken and Alfredo sauce was good too. It be a four star but service was pretty bad for an empty restaurant with two servers. I hate when I wait so long for my check that I have to stand to look for my server.

Well the GF and her Mom raved about the sandwiches here. Seems there was a completely different place here yesterday when they came. Today the food was bland and no actual meat on the sandwich. We had to ask for our salad , twice. 45 minutes of 2 sandwiches and then arguing to get a salad. Place is fairly empty. Not happy.

We decided to take a chance on a place that had mixed reviews, and were not disappointed. Our waiter was extremely gracious and professional. It was clear that he wanted us to have a good experience. The food was delicious and didn't take too long. They were out of a few things, but it wasn't a big deal. The service and the food more than made up for it.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Unenthusiastic greeting, instructed to get our own menus and seat ourselves. Not very welcoming start, them waited 10 minutes for no one to even stop by the table to say hello. Told the cashier that try just lost a minimum $80 tab as my group walked out. Continue with that type of service and there will be a closed restaurant real soon.

If I could give them 0 stars I would but unfortunately thats not an option. We ordered this pizza late after seeing the flyer under our door in our hotel room and seeing cheaper prices (still ridiculously priced) but cheaper than what our resort was offering, we ordered. The pizza was to come in 45mins to 1hr. After 1hr 15 mins our pizza finally showed up. It was luke warm and still gross. My boyfriend and I love even cold/leftover pizza. So for us to not like it is a huge statement. They also didn't bring our drinks we ordered! After a weekend away in Orlando we returned home and checked our credit card statement. After seeing the charge and being annoyed we paid $30+ for disgusting pizza and drinks that didn't even come we then noticed another charge from them for $10! The driver had changed our tip on the check to give himself a little extra cash! We called the bank and had it removed along with calling the restaurant. The manager claimed he was sorry and firing the driver but its still absolutely ridiculous! Someone needs to follow around their employee putting flyers under innocent tourists doors with another flyer saying... RIP OFF SCAM DONT ORDER!

Please don't judge this place by the few stars and bad reviews. It is now under new management, according to Albert, after having a good conversation with him about our satisfying experience here. We are new residents in neighboring, Celebration and well, The food was delicious and of great quality. We are very happy with making our choice, finding a great italian food restaurant and making this place a place of frequent visits. The service is great and they stand proud in making sure their guests are completely satisfied with the food and service. Come see for yourself, you will not be disappointed! Great service Albert! Thank you!

I'm glad I wasn't turned away from the bad reviews. Ordered for delivery. Food arrived on time, hot, and order was perfect. They even called me to say that they were out of eggplant parm and recommended the chicken parm as a substitute (which was delicious). Their calzones are really amazing. The seafood was very fresh. Worth trying despite the reviews.

Will NEVER order from this place again!!! Placed an order for delivery and the wrong sub was sent and the lettuce in the salad was brown. When i called back to let them know what was going on, I just got placed on hold 3 times before being told I had to call back in the morning. Unless I wanted to wait another hour for a new salad & the correct sandwich. The girl handling the phone call was EXTREMELY rude (Christine) & placed me on hold while she was going to "refund" me my money. Proceeds to hang up the phone & when I called back, answers the phone saying "You'll be refunded in 24-48 hours". Literally picked up the phone saying that. In conclusion the food was bad & the customer service was even WORSE!! Avoid this place! If you have the late night munchies, you're better off driving to your nearest McDonalds. Don't waste your time or money at this place!

Bad service. Came to this place as I had received a restaurant.com certificate for this place. I been here for 1 hour and still waiting for my order. Appetizer arrived 40 minutes after been order. Garlic cheese bread that if I make them at home will taste even better. Never coming back.

This was one of the worst restaurants we have gone to in the area. The service was really bad and the food far from anything even close to Chicago taste. Several tables left before getting their food because it took so long for the order to come to the table. During the wait the servers were rarely in the dining area to check if you wanted a refill on beverages. The pizza was not good and the price a lot higher than was expected. The pizza actually tasted like frozen they added a little extra to make it appear "fresh" but one bite tells the truth. Go elsewhere to enjoy dinner.

I should have trusted the reviews! I had a Restaurant.com gift certificate and decided to give it a shot, how bad could pizza be? Took my family here, server was fine but nothing great- I have three kids, ages 3,5, and 6. Ordered from the kids menu, two cheese pizzas and chicken tenders. Their meal included drinks. My husband got a sub and I also got a pizza. The chicken tenders and sub arrived and 15 min later we received our check with a "-anything else for you?" Um, yes, our pizza! They came out staggered 5-10 min after that, but it was so much food that we boxed it all to go! We were charged for two small pizzas and my kids drinks which was double the price of the kids meal. My kids clearly are young enough to dine on the kids menu, why they thought that I wanted small pizzas for each of them is beyond me. It was fine bc I needed to spend a certain amount anyway and just wanted to leave! The reason for 2 stars is only bc the food wasn't terrible. The other patrons all looked annoyed (we were there at 4:45 on a Friday) and we were told by our server they lost their liquor license. Sounds like this place needs better organization bc it's a mess (as was their bathroom)! Updated- they also left a flyer under my door at Bonnet Creek under the name Pizza Express. No address was listed but the phone number and menu items were the same.

Didn't even make it into this place. I called to verify info on a restaurant.com coupon and after maybe a half hour of trying to get my 1 question answered. The girl answering the phone answers rudely and slams on hold. When I called back for a third time and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told he wasn't available and the girl answering the phone could help. I insisted on speaking to someone in management and was met with "I'm not allowed to transfer calls". Absolutely ridiculous and just plain terrible customer service. 1 star only because I have to.

Terrible service. It took over two hours for them to show up. Food was cold so we didn't take it. We kept trying to call but there was no answer. They go by the name Brick Oven Pizza. They left a flyer under our hotel room door so we called. After waiting so long we asked the front desk if they knew anything about them and they told us that it is not uncommon for businesses to do this. They charge your card but never show up. We did cancel the charge on credit card.

Don't! This review is about Orlando Brick Pizza, which has the same address and phone number as this business. How bad is your business if you hide your name? Same story as many of the others. In a hotel, got the flyer, fell for the "speedy delivery" line. An hour and half later, I get the now cold food. Maybe it was decent at midnight, but I got it at 1AM. Vaguely room temperature onion rings, and formerly hot subs. No condiments. No offer of any recourse, despite my pointing out that 1 1/2 hours is too long to wait for food, and have to pay for cold food. I was told that it was the drizzly weather, and that it made people drive slowly. My guess is that Orlando gets enough tourists that they don't care about repeat business. I am actually going to suggest to the hotel manager that maybe this company should not be allowed to advertise in their hotel. We should all do that.

Oerdered for delivery. Took over one and half hours to get it. The brought wrong order. We called they said we will get it right out to you. Called four more times. It was over one hour and 30 min to get it. We open in front of delivery person. It was cold and old. It was our first original order. It was paid by credit card. The manger would not credit our credit card. No refund. Local customer. Shame on this buisness

Wow. Ok, when it's all said and done, the pizza is fine. The kids liked it. We saved the leftovers. However, in an uncrowded restaurant, during proper dinner hours, we were told that the deep dish pizza took 30 minutes. Ok, we said. 45 minutes later, we got our pizza. As is sometimes the case, it wasn't cut all the way through and when we went to cut it, we realized we had no silverware. I sat with my hand raised for a few minutes and got no one's attention. 50 minutes since we ordered. I finally got up to find some silverware for myself. After a minute, a fellow, not our server, asked what I was looking for. I told him and he was able to find 1 set of siverware which he handed me. I told him that we need 4 more sets and he said ok. Then he disappeared. 5 minutes later, my wife got up and went to the window to the kitchen and asked for silverware. Soon, they brought some. 1 hour since we ordered. Reading the reviews of others, I agree. You're better served by gas station pizza.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
