Yum delish. Had a bowl of pho, it was good. Will be going back for a sandwich soon - that seems to be their specialty, they have a lot of options. The staff were very nice and the space is soooooo cozy and cute. Next time I will eat in the patio area, that looked really cute too.

Titi's cafe is cute and quaint, a new addition to Gainesville's growing food diversity. The Banh Mi is pretty good, tasty and fresh but it's a bit on the pricy side. The gelato has some different flavors that change from week to week. Some I've never heard of before but they are proxy as well. Overall I would eat here again, but maybe not too often.

Titi's ia great idea--they offer traditional Viet banh mi sandwiches and also the non-Viet dessert of gelato plus a good selection of coffee and smoothies. In other words, they've taken the best of the owner's Asian heritage as well as goodies they know will interest students and have put it all together, using their alarmingly small space to its best advantage. The bahn mi I had was pretty good and certainly an ample portion--they know what they're doing with these sandwiches, the only question will be if there is enough demand day to day for bahn mi to allow them to remain the focus of Titi's. I didn't have any gelato but it all looked good and they had a number of flavors. The staff is beyond polite and seems to really care about making a great impression on their customers, which I appreciated, especially since both girls working there said they'd been working most of the day and the owner wasn't even in the shop at the time. I think that speaks highly to how much the staff themselves loves Titi's. Much like the ill-fated Corner, the Latin restaurant in this same small row of shops, I fear the location--though near campus--may be a problem. There is little parking and to walk from campus one must cross both University and 13th; I just worry UF students in a hurry may elect to go somewhere a little closer. The seating is limited, so they're gambling on people coming in bit by bit over the day, not all at once or else doing a lot of take-away which they may. I am just worried over their location hindering their success, but the concept certainly is great.

I have ordered Titi's Cafe four times in the last few months. I have ordered both the Chicken and Meatball Pho. The first three times I have ordered the Pho has been spectacular, I would go as far as saying it has been the best in Gainesville. The aromatic spices in the broth make it to die for. I'm not sure I could accurately describe how delicious Titi's Cafe's Pho has been on the prior three occasions. However, yesterday I ordered some Meatball Pho for delivery and while all the components were wonderful the broth was just completely inedible. It was way too salty. I'm not sure if it was because it was late at night near closing time (perhaps it was the concentrated bottom). I'm not going to lie I was definitely really sad, partially out of fear that this might be a trend. This is the only occasion that I have ever been upset about the quality of the food, but I will surely be willing to give them another chance, because so far the good has outweighed the bad.

Wonderful food! And Casey was SUPER helpful about explaining the menu. I couldn't give more than three stars because after paying $4.00 for an iced tea, the policy is that refills are .75¢. That is RIDICULOUS!

Smoothies, lunch specials, and bubble tea's are delicious. It takes a little while for them to prepare any order, but it's well worth it! The lunch specials are healthy, fresh, and large quantity... Most of the time I have some left over for dinner! Try the Vietnamese iced bubble tea... My favorite!

This was nothing short of incredible. What an awesome little cafe. From the Jasmine tea, the noodles, the broth...that's a labor of love, right there. Definitely will be going back. And, you can't leave without a scoop of gelato. Amazing food, attentive and kind service, what more could you ask?

I've been here twice for lunch, and I've left a happy camper both times! Just a short walk from campus, walking here for a quick yet tasty lunch is super convenient! Titi's Cafe offers a large selection of banh mi sandwiches, as well as other Vietnamese dishes. As a most-of-the-time vegetarian, a large selection of vegetarian items is a must for me, which Titi's Cafe definitely delivers! I've had the tofu banh mi, and the tofu vermicelli bowl. The banh mi is served on deliciously crusty french bread, and is filled with fresh vegetables and herbs. The vermicelli bowl is HUGE! For $8, you are definitely getting a bang for your buck. Both of these dishes have been unbelievably fresh and delicious. If you enjoy herb-y, slightly spicy flavors, you definitely not want to miss out on Titi's Cafe! They also serve gelato, as well as a selection of coffee, tea, and boba. I haven't had the coffee or gelato, but the quality of the boba tea is on par with Lollicup, for about the same price. My only gripe with this cafe is that take-out orders do take a little while to be prepared. However, the staff of the cafe is so friendly, that you don't mind waiting a little longer for your food! I highly recommend Titi's Cafe to anyone who is looking for a new lunch experience near campus!

Titi makes the most delicious pho in Gainesville. The broth is rich and sweet and just tastes...authentic. No other way to describe it. The bowl is huge with tons of noodles and lots of meat. My boyfriend and I both got pho tai (beef comes out raw and is then cooked in the broth) and agreed it was better than any other Vietnamese places in town. Titi is incredibly friendly and you can tell she is really proud of everything she makes. I'm excited to see what other Vietnamese specialties she has yet to offer!

The pho is soooooooo beyond good so much meat and noodles and thr broth is rich. Tastes like bagels and noodles pho but better!!!! the combo pho is my fav Had the banh mi, was good but not to die for. The drinks are ok/good but the staff when I've been were new and didn't know anything about the place. The owner is really nice and friendly tho God the pho is so good. Can't wait to try the duck sandwich

Just stopped in here for a quick lunch. The interior is cute, well put-together, with a gelato case and an appetizing tray of steamed buns on display up front. I came here for the vietnamese sandwiches (bánh mì). They have six or seven types of bánh mì, and none of them looked immediately familiar. I asked the girl at the counter which to get, and she said she always recommends the lemongrass pork, so I got that along with a thai iced tea with boba. The sandwich was out in a surreal short amount of time, like less than a minute. The bread was great, since it was fresh, chewy, and crispy, but the crust wasn't too aggressively crusty (this can be the downfall of an otherwise great bánh mì). The fillings were top-notch, the pork was delicious, and it was pretty spicy. I like spicy, but you may want to ask them to tone it down if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. Overall, this is a solid place with good quality, cheap food. Definitely coming back in the future.

Be very careful as to what you order at this place! My girlfriend and I were in town for The Fest over the weekend and decided to give this place a shot because it was the closest place to eat to where we were. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was no expensive. We both ordered the Banh Mi sandwiches. I ordered the lemon grass pork and my girl ordered the roasted duck. We ate the food, which tasted delicious at the time, but for my girlfriend it was a whole other experience. To keep it short she was up most of the night with horrible abdominal pains (plus other gross stuff) and was sick all Saturday. We are sure she ate food contaminated with Salmonella. You have been warned. Eat at your own risk!

This is the best pho in Gainesville. Friendly and fast service too. Its been too cold for gelato but I plan on treating myself as soon as it warms up.

Didn't try the gelato/espresso confection, but my friend raaaved about it. The bahn mis are inexpensive, the soups are expensive, and everything is made to order (wait for it). I will come here again. Pros: This is decent Vietnamese food for stateside. The Bun Bo Hue had real pork hock in it - nom. The bahn mis -- pretty good. Closest I have had so far to what I was eating in north Vietnam. Pork and duck -- both tasty tasty. Crispy duck soup -- amazing. Vit quay in noodle soup -- yes please. But the sprouts, herbs, and jalepenos would have been a welcome addition to the mild broth. The ca phe sua da tasted right -- they brew Vietnamese coffee, which has a more robust flavor to me than American coffee. And they have the ca phe phin for single serving brews, if you order it hot. The iced coffee is premade due to volume of orders, and is pretty sweet (condensed milk), so I think next time I will order it hot so I can adjust the sweetness and just get a glass of ice. Cons: But we did not get the side of sprouts and herbs to dress the soup - sad.

Rejoice! Titi's Cafe is now serving pho all the time. Updating review because I have sampled most of her offerings and believe it deserves full stars. She takes requests and frequently has new items on the menu which is always refreshing.

Bad experience , the Banh mi was expensive, salty, and small portioned...they literally drowned if in soy sauce. As for the taro boba it was quite watered down and not worth it. Overall, never going again.

Great food! Only problem was later that night I got food poisoning.. Vomiting, blurred vision, it was bad. Considering, I wouldn't go back out of fear but the food was good.

I've been to Titi's a few times and every time the food is AMAZING! Their Bahn Mi and Pho are hands down, the best I've had in Gainesville. Their Pho has the only broth that seems perfect without the added Hoisin and Sriracha (But I love every excuse to use them so I put them in anyway :p). Also, perfect Meat-to-Soup-to-Noodle ratio. Their Bahn Mi's are jam-packed with flavor and freshness as well, and their bread always has the right amount of toast. I recommend the Lemongrass Pork Bahn Mi - it showcases the marinade the best for me.Their gelato's and milk tea's are pretty good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for them. I order them if I happen to be craving them while I have a meal there. My last comment is on their service, which I think has gone down from the first time I went here about a year ago. They had a friendly and helpful staff before, but this time only one girl was working in the front, and it looked like one guy in the back. It might be from their lack of help that they were not able to seem as hospitable as they were before. Also my food took longer than expected (~20-25mins) to come out, but this was the first time it has taken this long, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one! I would highly recommend this place for hungry students close to the outskirts of campus who have some time to spare :)

Very good Banh Mi, priced right at $5 -- I recommend the Dac Biet. We also ordered the ham and pate Banh Mi for take-out but when I got home I discovered there was no ham. Not a big deal, these things happen and the sandwich was still very good, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Haven't tried the drinks or gelato, and I understand they serve Pho on Sunday. Will be back for more Banh Mi, pho sho!

Simply amazing. I've never had bubble tea, that was great. The food, healthy and delicious. Glad to have them around:)

Awful service! Can't say for the taste though. I arrived with 4 coworkers for lunch. After 25 minutes, 3 coworkers received their order. I waited for another 15 for my order, after the previous 3 finished eating, I finally asked for a refund. There was no apology for the service whatsoever! The restaurant was not even close to busy. Had to give at least a star bc no stars was not an option...

The bahn mi here was very salty, used microwaved meat and was poorly assembled. None of the bubble tea options were fresh, only powder based. The vibe I got from the place was that it's a bodega quality cafe.

Yesterday my husband and I visited Titi's Cafe for the first time. It was cold and rainy and we were craving a nice bowl of Pho. Titi's didn't disappoint. The bowl was huge, filled with noodles, beef, scallions, onions, and a yummy broth. Side accompaniments included bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos and lime. Usually I add hoisin and sriracha but the broth was so flavorful there was no need to! I had the lemograss bahn mi which was out of this world. I finished off the meal with a slow drip Vietnamese coffee which was decadent and delicious. We will definitely be back again!

You would think that a place that offered so many things wouldn't be good. or they'd be really good on one and everything else sucked. but this was not the case! Gelato? Great. (I've had pistachio and peach marscapone) Pho? Tasty! (I've had the chicken and veggie) Coffee? Excellent nice and very strong. (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) Boba tea? Good. (I like the choice of having almond milk or coconut milk too) Lemongrass chicken curry- so flavorful. The only reason I would take a star off if the meat factor- when ordering a Pho with chicken --- the chicken it self wasn't very seasoned and the lemon grass chicken curry there wasn't much meat: it was like badly butchered chicken and it seamed like I got more bone than anything. i didn't take off more bc quite honestly, the flavors of the curry and pho were just really really good... kinda didn't miss a lot of the meat. Definitely coming for more!

Waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes for a sandwich. On top of that the only excuse was that there was only one person. Seriously annoyed with the terrible service and the food was lukewarm, perhaps even cold. Never ever going here again. Go to kebab house instead, no pho but better food and quicker service. Ps wifi is slow like their service.

Disclaimer: this review may or may not be helpful. The ambiguity exists because this occasion was the first time I tried actual Vietnamese food, besides pho. My two cents might be helpful to those that are on the same boat as me. I was feeling pretty "daring" one day, and was also starving. I went on Gainesville's seemingly sketchy delivery website and ordered a chicken banh mi and a pork one (delivery might shed off some quality) and pistachio gelato. As soon as my food arrived, I dug in and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a real Asian foodie (with the exception of Korean food) so these flavors were new to me. For a hoagie, or sub, it was decently sized and flavored. As someone who absolutely despises meaty and gamey scents in meat, I was afraid to try the pork banh mi, but thankfully the meat wasn't gamey AT ALL. They did a really good job with seasoning and marinating. However, from a beginner standpoint, would I come back here in the next few months for a banh mi? Probably not. The flavors were foreign and memorable, but they weren't something that I would get a craving for. And before I forget to mention, the pistachio gelato was amazing. :-)

Over the weekend I enjoyed a delicious Roast Duck Banh Mi. Perfect duck with little bits of the skin, crisp cucumbers, a few thinly scattered jalapeños, scallions with a nice bias cut, tangy carrot and daikon slaw on the most perfect hoagie bread. A touch more cilantro and cutting the bread evenly would have made it perfect. Service was the best it could be with 22 indoor seats with most of them filled, two tables outside and and takeout orders for smoothies and bubble tea, all on the shoulders of 1 service person.

Best Vegan Pho in town! Also the most expensive. If you just want hot vegetarian broth with noodles, you can find it at either Faith or Bagels and Noodles. But Titi's has a vegan pho with robust and hearty flavors, plenty of tofu, seitan, yuba, and vegetables. Sadly, they have just recently closed their doors. Supposedly you can get Titi's pho at Chopstix (her family owns the place). YMMV
