Have eaten here a few times. When they first opened it was pretty good but have not had a good visit in well over a year. Horrible food and horrible service!

I would have given them a 5 star except the change from a pile of french fry's to 4 onion rings, yep I said 4 cost $2.49. The food was great don't get me wrong the fish and chips where delicious. But to find out to that a change from a pile of french fry;s to 4, count them 4 onion rings cost $2.49. What a rip off. I do recommend the food but do not change anything from the menu as they will stick it to you good. The asparagus dip was just Ok.

This place was by far the worst place I have ever been to. I did not even get to try the food because I was so disgusted with the customer service experience. We walked in to the restaurant the waiter got our drinks 5 minutes later we order mind you when we did all this it was pretty much dead. We even called ahead of time asking if they were busy...of course it was pretty dead. Two coworkers and I order our food. One gets nachos, the other gets a sanwich and I get the small chili bowl which comes with a house salad. We wait for 45 minutes....still no food. We signal our waiter he looks at us and ignores us at the greeter stand. The hostess passes by us we said miss...she just kept walking. The people behind us party of 4 got there after us and received their meal before us. I asked the waitress that delivered their meal if she can please get a manager. She kindly did, the manager came over I told him what happened and he said "did you inform the waiter that you had to be at work in an hr". I told him I should not have to do that...this is very poor customer service...the fact that I had to wait 45 Minutes for my meal. The customers behind us felt that it was unprofessional how the manager did not handle the situation. One thing I do regret is paying for my meal because I should have just left. I sure enough was not leaving a tip. I disposed of the food. How does a manager expect his employees to follow rules and behave in a professional manner if he/she cannot enforce that. I

We ordered two small dinner salads which were not small, very delicious. There was plenty of parmesan cheese on my Ceasar salad and the tomato basil vinaigrette dressed the shamrock salad perfectly. The Brisket sandwich comes between two slices of Texas toast, served with steak fries and Texas style beans. Amazing sandwich great smoked flavor not fatty good finishing sauce complemented with the sweet flavors of the beans. The Blackened Grouped was a little pricey but its a good size filet, served with the same BA steak fries and decent slaw. Too much bread for one person though, this could easily be a sandwich meal for two. Enjoy

This place it's very nice & very clean & always fresh the only thing it's Friday's and Saturdays it's pack up but still I really recommend it special if your in this area

We live close to here, so we eat here a few times a month. We get there late (9-10pm) and we usually have to wait a while to be seen at the front door, which isn't that bad. I work in the service industry and I know at that time of night, more of the focus is on the bar and not so much the front door. Once sat, our service is usually pretty good. The menu has a large variety of sandwiches, entrees, pizza, wings, ribs, tacos. .. the menu is really all over the place. The food always comes out quick and is pretty good. I really enjoy the wings and the sweet potato fries. The burgers were over cooked and the tea isn't usually good. The bar selection is very large as well, and the outside bar is always hoppin'. This is a great place for people aged 21-50.

The buffalo chicken wrap tastes great. I order it most of the time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place doesn't do anything for me..... just another big chain with nothing to really rave about..... I've eaten here about 15 times since it opened and never really wanted to come back.....the food seems overpriced to me too..... Can't really comment on the bar area since I don't drink but the abr area does seem to be the big draw to this place....

  • Dalton S.

My brother and I went there for a couple of night caps and the bartender there was extremely rude. So we tipped him poorly because of it then he went to the table where his girlfriend was at and loudly started complaining about us. The food isn't even good so the service is unacceptable!

  • Carlye M.

Great food, and great drinks!! Highly recommended. Was iffy about coming here because of the reviews, but we had a great experience. If you're looking for a great outside bar, this is it. Especially in a small town.

So I've come back here a few more times with family and friends since this place is close to my home. I've decided to bump up the stars after having a few sandwiches on the menu. There are definitely better restaurants in town, but you could do a lot worse. My advice is to stick with pub grub on the menu. Sandwiches and burgers. Avoid the right side of the menu, because there be dragons there.

  • Meredithe M.

Oh my god so many people I've listened to complain about this place. I finally went... It's like the best place I've eaten in Crestview. The service was great, the place was epically clean with cool decor and the food was good. What more could you want. Try it! If you're a dude and you go to Hooters for the scenery you should swap for this place, just sayin.

  • Melissa L.

The atmosphere was nice. They have an indoor or outdoor seating to choose from. I believe you can smoke in the outdoor seating. The food was okay. The menu had a very cute setup incorporating the Irish way of speaking. The service was great. I don't remember our waitress's name, but she was awesome. I'd think twice about dining here again though.

We were in the area overnight, looking for a family friendly restaurant with American cuisine. This was the perfect spot. Only about 11 miles from I10, and the menu had something for everyone, to include a small mexican section. the burgers were really good and the kids enjoyed the Abita root beer on tap. Lots of beers on tap and very reasonably priced.

  • Clarence H.

When I walked in the hostess was no where to be found, so I stood at the front for over 5 minutes before someone noticed I was there. More if a pet peeve of mine but the waitress could only remember 3 of the beers that were on draft. I don't think expecting they know what's on draft is asking too much of a place that calls itself an ale house. Other than that the service was good. My waitress stopped by frequently to make sure that I was taken care of. I ordered the Open Face Prime Sandwich. It was pretty good. It was the lunch special so it came with mashed potatoes and green beans. They were ok as well. Overall not a bad place to go for lunch, especially for Crestview.

Food is pretty garbage..I used to cook at the one in destin, and most everything is zapped in the microwave, pretty sad and disgusting..but then again its the same story for most mid-level restaurant chains ..anyway, use to be a cool place to hang out and have some drinks when it first opened...

After working there for 2 plus years i had always hated the fact that the place is an upscale fast food!! Everything there is low quality t start with. TNT burgers that are frozen, cooked ahead of time, and stuck in a pan of water until some poor person orders a burger. You can taste the difference. Seafood is less than Capt. D's. Menu says gulf shrimp, yeah gulf in asia somewhere. Frozen of course. Fish is supposed to be gulf grouper. nope its swai, or some low level fish like that. Chicken is cooked the same way burgers are. Dumped in a pan of water after being cooked. The chief is a good chief, but the owner does not let him cook his way, so thats why you get 2 hour burgers. Like I said i was there for over 2 years, and not one time did the owner hire an exterminator, he used wal mart spray which as any person with half a brain knows its not strong enough to handle restaurants. Thats why there are EXTERMINATORS that are certified to use the stronger pesticides!!!! Crab claws smell like feet. Low quality as well, and we are just mere miles from the Gulf. Sad with the Gulf being right down the road you would figure that the seafood would be the freshest it could be. Horrible food, and bugs everywhere. Oh,and all the good reviews about this place on here are friends of the owner that he begs to put good reviews on here, or the people he gives free apps to in exchange for good reviews. There you have it. Have fun

I will not be returning to this place again. I have eaten here about 4 times and I was not impressed on any visit. The food was subpar and the service extremely slow. Anybody thinking of going here drive on by.

We will never eat at Johnny O's again. We've eaten there four times, each experience worse than the one before. The best thing about this place is the beer is cold - but extremely over-priced, so it's not even worth it. Fried pickles are $7.99 for a mediocre size.

Worst burger ever!! I had the Paddy Melt. No seasoning, only tasted burnt. The canned 'sautéed' mushrooms are awful! I don't salt food in restaurants, but I had to add salt & mustard. It took until the end of the meal for my son to get his cheesy fries. My hubby had to ask the waitress 3 tomes for mayo for his sandwich, finally got it and it was just little packets! Apparently they have been going thru 'transitions' with the staff.

I love their food but service has been very poor lately. Food takes forever and they are getting orders wrong... Not usually worth the wait/price.

Went there today and ordered the fish tacos. When I got my order it all started out good but I found a huge hair in the plate. The server quickly took the plate away and replaced my dish with another selection. Overall the food was good but I just don't know when I will return due to the hair in my food. I know it wasn't done on purpose but it still didn't set well with me or my wife.

  • Tara R.

Service was a disaster!!!! Waited 20 min for a drink. Food came and never saw waitress again! Ate hot wings without a drink. Looked around and waitresses playing with each others hair, applying make-up! Asked to speak to manger and the manger was one that was doing art work right next to us. She never once noticed our obvious and loud remarks about the service. Unacceptable service! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star.

Just came back from lunch there with my hubby and two kids. We have been here several times befor and never been impressed but where else to go in Crestview when you want a change from Wild Olive's tiny lunch menu?! The worst food we have had in a long time. My hubby had the blackened fish tacos and it had no seasoning whatsoever and we could hardly find the fish it was almost none existing they should call it salad and cheese taco with fish sprinkles and definatly nowhere near blackened. My son had a personal pan pizza which was ok because it's really hard to mess up pizza to start with, so considering that the crust was burnt it's nothing to be proud of as far as buisness is concerned. My daughter had chicken enchilada ewwwwww so bland and tasted like chicken straight out of a can and again no seasoning whatsoever, it was just caned chicken yucks, cheese and onion, are you serious? And can someone please teach them how to use at least salt and pepper, I mean that's basic kitchen knowledge, right ????? The food took forever to get to the table. It has always been very clean whenever we went. So bottom line if you don't mind AT BEST medioca food as long as the place is clean then it's the place for you. As far as our family, we went at least 15- 20 times and decided that we definatly will not return!!!!!!!!!

Looked forward to the opening of the Johnny O'Quigley's after eating at the one in Destin on several occasions. The atmosphere is nice but the service and food are just not that great. Recently they changed the best food item, the round fries to the standard hollow freezer fries. Really nothing special, just your average American bar food. Good place to socialize and grab a few drinks.

    (3)
  • Al F.

The last time I came to O'Quigley's, my buffalo wings were raw inside. This time I had the fish n chips. The fish consisted of two small pieces of fish the size of steak fries that were tough and watery. It'll be another year before I return, if ever. At least the beer was cold.

If first impressions are lasting then I'll have to go back and give it another shot... both entrees were burned. Steak was burned and I couldn't force the "blackened" grouper down. It was removed from the bill, but not a good dining experience. The wait staff was excellent and it's atmosphere is very appealing...

  • TD S.

Not impressed!! Got fish and chips, fully expected the center to be frozen. The fish and shrimp looked and tasted like it was frozen and not fresh. Don't think that they prepare anything there, it's all pre cooked or frozen. Son order pizza and he didn't like it. On top of that one of the waitresses hit my chair every time she walked by. Won't be back

Poor food quality. We tried this place twice and it is not very good. Service was OK overall and the waiter and waitress on each day were prompt and courteous. The atmosphere is excellent being fun and busy with memorabilia hanging from the ceiling. We started with an appetizer of fried cheese which was great but when the main course came it went down from there. I ordered ribs since their menu said that their ribs are "smoked every day" in their own apple wood smoker, I love smoked ribs! The ribs had NO smoke flavor to them at all, none at all. The worst was that the meat tasted like it had been cooked one day then refrigerated then reheated. There was no smoke ring on the meat just a grey ring which made me think that they were boiled (the baked beans had a distinct smoke flavor which was better than the rib meat). The chicken strip meal (Cottage Chicken N' Chips) was good and their fries are potato slices which was also good. The Twisted O'Quigley sandwich (turkey, ham and cheese) was very bland. The worst was the Irish Fish and Chips, my child took tow bites and didn't want any more so I'm thinking hand them over (since the ribs were horrible). The fish was so fishy tasting I couldn't eat it at all and I'm thinking that a cat would turn its nose up to it..... it was BAD! By then the meal was over and all I wanted to do was just get out. The desert (a multi layered chocolate cake) was good but was obviously frozen and thawed when ordered. All this was over $80.....unacceptable since Whataburger would be cheaper, and have been better quality. The second time we went was because of a friends request, so I thought give it another try but order other items on the menu. Long story short... the Ruben was bland and the sauerkraut tasted like it was soaked with a cigar (that's what it tasted like) because it had a weird taste to it. The Daddy's Nasty Nachos tasted like it had Old El Paso taco season packet sprinkled on it and the guacamole was flavorless with a greasy mouth feel. The onion rings are good. Sorry to be long winded but it cost too much and the food is very poor quality. It's a shame because we had hoped that this would be a better restaurant that would eliminate the drive to Destin for quality food.

I have never had to return a meal in all my life! I have traveled the world and unfortunately I stumbled upon the worst BBQ Brisket ever right here. The meat used had to have been spoiled! It literally and figuratively left a bad taste in my mouth. The server was good but the service could not overcome the terrible brisket! I asked to speak with the manager and he arrived without giving the greeting of the day, without introducing himself and just stood at the table staring at me. This made the whole experience even worse. I will never eat here again. If you decide to eat here, do not try the brisket.

Each time I get a sandwich here I get sick. Oh, they no longer sell the best thing on the menu (pizza).
