This family owned bakery is definitely the darling at Safety Harbor area. Daily fresh bakery, homemade deserts and regular cafe food keep the business thriving. Goodies run out before 3pm everyday. The tiny cafe holds about 6 small tables indoor and 2 outdoor. The cafe menu covers daily soup, breakfast, lunch sandwiches including pressed sandwiches, and salad. I bought a hot "ham and brie on ciabatta" to go yesterday. It took 5 minutes to have the sandwich ready. The bread is crispy outside and moist inside. The good quality brie makes the flavor richer and it blends well with ham. A small fresh green salad came with my order. I have tried several home made deserts such as brownie, chocolate tart, marjolain cake, etc. They are all excellent! For example, the "Apple Strudel" I bought yesterday cost 5.5 dollar a piece. A 6 inch long, 3 inch thick pastry full of thin sliced apple topped with maple glaze. It is not overly sweet and the slightly sour taste from the green apple balance the flavor well. A very elegant desert it is and definitely worth my dollars. I highly recommend to try. The daily made artisan breads sold out quickly. Sourdough, Multigrain, Ciabatta, Italian, Wheat, etc. and on Saturday, Rye breads are available. I like their baguette. The texture is just right. If you are somewhere near Enterprise and McMullen Booth, you should stop by and bring some goodies home. You will be loved.

Hubs and I stopped here for breakfast today - we have been wanting to check it out for months but never made it over. It's the perfect blend for us because I crave breakfast sandwiches and he prefers pastries. I had the breakfast sandwich on multigrain, he had the rum soaked almond croissant, and we shared a cold brewed iced coffee. My sandwich was delicious - the eggs were so light and fluffy and the bread was delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast sandwich. Hubs enjoyed his croissant but said it wasn't super flaky and was rather dense....but tasty nonetheless. We loved the iced coffee...very good. Total came out to just under $14 before tip. Awesome! This is a small spot so I'd expect there is sometimes a wait, especially during season. Definitely recommend!!

Fabulous brioche French toast, divine quiche (out of this world tender crust), lovely soft boiled eggs and of course heavenly baked goods. A Safety Harbor treasure.

Came here today for my second visit. I couldn't help but update my review to 5 stars. We ordered a latte and it was everything a latte should be - great flavor (love Kahwa) and not too sweet. We got pressed sandwiches on ciabatta bread; my fiancé got the turkey and I got the pepper and goat cheese. The ciabatta bread is melt in your mouth perfection; a combination of soft but also crispness on the outside. This place is what a bakery should be. My only regret is that I don't live closer.

My favorite breakfast and brunch spot. Love the quaint French decor and the friendly service. So far I have tried the breakfast sandwich, pecan bar, iced latte and fruit tart and everything is divine. I appreciate that the food is fresh and not overly sweet or seasoned. Highly recommended but if you're eating there it will probably be hard to fit a group of 4+ because it's very small.

Had a latte with Kahwa coffee that's was excellent. Also a kumquat scone that was very good. Nice spot a sublime mid afternoon spot with soft music playing.

Stopped in during the week 1:30. Purchased cupcakes. Found them to be extremely dry. Flavor on icing was good, 8 cupcakes 22.00 and some change. Not worth it to me. They did have some interesting bakery pastries and menu. Cute place though.

This is a cute coffee and bakery shop. I had no idea it was so close to where I live. This would be a nice place to just go sit and have a coffee at a local establishment as opposed to a chain - these types of small coffee shops are harder to find especially in this area. I found the staff to be very friendly. The latte was excellent and I also had a baked item - pecan bar which was delicious. They serve Kawha coffee! I will definitely be back. If you come in 30 minutes prior to closing many of the baked items are buy one get one free!

What a hidden gem! This bakery has all the little details right. When we told them it was our first time, a lady came from behind the counter to introduce us to the products. She was clear to explain thay they do offer flour free options (a number of them) and pointed them out, noting that they cook them in a kitchen with flour so advise those with gluten allergies to be aware. We ordered iced coffee, which was cold brewed (in my opinion - the superior way to serve iced coffee), and a hot coffee. For the hot coffee I was given a warmed mug and pointed to the coffee bar to help myself to Kahwa coffee. Their pastries were naturally delicious, and we were advised by other patrons that we needed to return for breakfast to try their breakfast sandwich (which apparently is sprinkled with crack). After 3:30 the breakfast pastries and breads are sold BOGO.

I received a last minute office meeting request for pastries so I googled for a bakery and found this shop. I was really impressed. They have a large selection and everything was super fresh. They were extra friendly and very helpful. I would definately return to this lovely shop for desserts and breakfast.

I think I may have stumbled upon a gold mine here! By far my new favorite little spot for coffee, tea, daily fresh baked artisan breads & pastries , and the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time! They use Kahwa coffee that is so flavorful and strong! Just what I like. They make everything from scratch daily !!! EVERYTHING! They are also 100% organic and don't use any additives or bad sugars!! If you haven't been here yet do your self a favor and go! Open til 4 during the week !

Wonderful mom and pop place to go for a meal. Not a big selection on the menu, but everything is made fresh and delicious. My go to place for Sunday brunch!

I've been meaning to stop by here ever since it opened last year. I'm always in search of a good bakery and their outdoor sign caught my attention. So last weekend I was craving a muffin for breakfast and decided to give it a shot. While the original plan was to just grab some pastries to go, ended up staying after seeing a the breakfast dishes coming out of the kitchen. The place is small, with a French theme. I ordered a morning glory muffin, a breakfast sandwich and French toast along with some cappuccinos. I thought the egg sandwich could have used a little more salt but everything else was very good. I'm looking forward to trying more of the delicious looking pastries and breads.

Wonderful pastries. We wanted to bring some treats to the nurses at the nearby hospital. They helped is pick them out and made up a tray last minute even though it was a crazy mother's day morning. The nurses loved them and all wanted to know where we got them. While I didn't have one myself there were some delicious looking regular breakfast items going out and you definitely could tell the dishes were being put together with quality ingredients and care. It's a bit tight inside with only a few more tables out, so if sitting down to breakfast is your plan peak time might mean a wait.

This place is amazing. So far, I have tried the chocolate croissant, fruit tart, and banana cupcake. Everything is fresh and tastes delicious. The staff are friendly and make their rounds in the quaint dining area to say hello. We have only been in there three times and look forward to MANY more. Absolutely wonderful. I want to try their sandwiches next!!

Maybe this place should have 6 stars as she prepares the very best bakery items I have ever tasted and I love baked goods. She even does a stellar job on gluten free, Chocolate Decadence, yes, it is as good as it sounds. They have breakfast and lunch items as well as artisan breads. The owners are a lovely couple and gracious hosts. This is the first place we go when our flight lands in Tampa. I can't say enough about the quality of the food.

Elizabeth's is so, so, so wonderful! Seriously, if you haven't been, drop your Saturday or Sunday morning plans and go here now. All the baked goods are organic and made it house with real, pure ingredients, they serve Kahwah coffee (brewed in St. Petersburg, if you're not familiar with them) and they serve delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I would definitely recommend their breakfast sandwich served on croissant (I usually add avocado to mine!) and the chicken sandwich with pesto. BUT, my favorite item is the lemon creme-filled brioche buns. Seriously. Wow. They only make them Friday-Sunday mornings... I could literally eat my weight in them. I am usually not a huge fan of lemon-flavored things, because I find lemon to be overpowering in high quantities, but the lemon creme is so light and just the right amount of sweet. I highly recommend them and would eat one everyday if I could. The owners, Jim and Elizabeth, are extremely kind and attentive. They definitely deserve all the success they've had, and I wish them much more in the future! Thanks to everyone there for making me feel so at home. I will miss Elizabeth's dearly when I leave the area, but it will be one of the first places I visit when I come back to visit the area.

Wonderful little place that fills a nice niche here in Safety Harbor! Pastries are literally to die for, and I had a great breakfast sandwich this am too! Killer coffee to boot! Stay away if you don't want to get fat!

OH YUMMMMMMMM Wish I lived closer, been here twice, never disappointed. Good old fashioned goodness, like a wonderful pastry shop in Paris. Top notch ingredients!

  • Sarah B.

We go to Elizabeth's every few weeks now (I am on Weight Watchers or I would go more often), and everything we have tried has been fantastic! My favorites are the Morning Glory muffin, the brioche french toast (best french toast I have ever eaten in my life) and, most recently, the brioche with lemon filling. To die for. I find the owners and staff to be friendly and helpful, and certainly not lacking in personality. I love to support local business and I sure love a good bakery - so I will continue to spread the word about Elizabeth's!

Breakfast sandwiches are delicious, on croissants or fabulous bread. The pastries are to die for. The pecan bars are the best I have ever tasted, and the rest of the cookies and pastries are amazing too. Will definitely go back and recommend to all my friends.

Elizabeth's muffins and breads are to die for! I haven't tried any of the cafe breakfast or lunch offerings, but it's on my list.

  • Anne Marie B.

a great place with wonderful pasteries and a great staff. one comment - did you ever think of running a breakfast special with a specially priced pastery with a cup of coffee? or selling 'mug refills' where coffee in your own mug brought in would be at a discounted price?

  • Jeanne W.

I hesitate to write this review because Elizabeth's only has five tables and I worry that I won't get one once the word gets out. Elizabeth's food is the best I've had in a long, long time. The red pepper and goat cheese pressed sandwich is killer. So it the turkey avocado pressed sandwich. Everything she serves is fresh, preservative free, and healthy. The desserts are to die for. I suggest giving Elizabeths a try for breakfast instead of Einsteins (directly across the street), and you'll never go back.
