This is my favorite lunch spot when I am in Brandon. The food here is fresh and delicious. Their lunch menu is filled with home-made items and the dessert offerings made fresh daily are impossible to resist. My go-to light meal is the chicken salad plate. You can tell the chicken is not canned but recently roasted and then mixed with a light mayo dressing with grapes. It is served with broccoli salad and fruit. I use this light meal to balance out any one of the delectable desserts that I always have to get. Choose from Hawaiian Wedding Cake (yum!) or a Lemon Cheesecake Cookie. (double yum!) I have not been here for dinner yet but I have yet to try a lunch meal or dessert here that I did not like. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Ordered the strip steak. Looked like flank steak. Over cooked even when i told them medium rare to rare . Had good flavor but left very hungry. Nice jazz music. Had to order a pizza when we left

Why 5 stars? Because I'd say this is a top 10 meal in Tampa Bay. --- --- --- Della's After Dark had been on my to-do list for months, but I just don't find myself in Brandon very often on a Friday or Saturday night. But I had put it off so long that I decided to make the trek after a meeting I had way out in Largo. I made a reservation, but was shocked to see the place nearly empty by the time I arrived. There was only one other table seated, and they cleared out around the time I was halfway done with my meal. This allowed me to be on the receiving end of my own, personal concert. The band playing was awesome, and I really enjoyed that aspect of the evening as well. The service was top notch. I guess it may be easier when a place isn't very busy, but nonetheless, the servers could not have been friendlier. The food totally blew me away. The shrimp and grits was absolutely one of the best meals one of the best meals I have had in Tampa Bay. I find "bacon-wrapped" things to be overrated and more hype than substance usually, but Della's knocked it out of the park. The flavors of this dish were out of this world. Cannot wait to return here. I know I have a decent amount of 5 star reviews, but this was a true masterpiece of a dinner. I wish I could give six stars. ***Only open Friday and Saturday nights***

Tried this place out for the first time for some lunch. Ordered the 1/2 Cuban and soup. I was not disappointed with the taste of the food and the service was quick. Their menu offered a large selection of sandwiches and notes that all their desserts are made from scratch. I'll have to come back to try more of their menu for sure. The atmosphere was very relaxing. They have shades on the windows which keeps it not too bright inside and when I was there they were playing classy music that added to the relaxing atmosphere.

I ordered the shrimp n grits wrapped in bacon and it was delicious! The setting of the restaurant was lovely and the music the band played was very relaxing while eating. I will definitely be coming back for the shrimp and grits (:

Great place. Food was delicious with reasonable portions. Brought our own wine in (allowed 2 bottles for $8 corking fee) . We went early in the evening on a Saturday around 545pm. Would not try to go without reservations. They had offered us the choice of 2 tables out of empty restaurant due to reservations for all other tables. Some people left because they wanted to sit somewhere else with no reservations. So my advice on the weekend make reservations and ask for Kim as your server.

A M A Z I N G. Simply, amazing. I have had Della's After Dark bookmarked for a while and have wanted to try it out. Also, our beloved Tampa Bay Yelp CM, Brett wrote an outstanding review for this place, which just added to my intense yearning to dine here. This meal was definitely one of the best I have had in the Tampa Bay Area and was well worth the drive to the Brandon area. Upon entering, the hostess quickly apologized and we were told the jazz musician had cancelled for the evening and there wasn't going to be any live music. I didn't mind because they had jazz music piping in from the speakers and I was here for the food. Rachael was our server and she was very pleasant and attentive. Her great service made up for the lack of jazz music. We started with a bottle of the Pennywise Merlot. I am not a huge fan of most Merlots nor anything that is named "Pennywise." I still have recurring nightmares from that awful clown from "It." This wine, however, was not a nightmare, and was quite pleasant to drink. Rachael brought us an appetizer of Goat Cheese and Beets. Beets and goat cheese are two things I would have never paired together, but tasted fabulous. The bread was brought out a few minutes later and instead of butter, we were served a pepper nosh mixture. That too, was delicious and I loved the fact that it was something other than butter. My date ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp were some of the largest I have ever seen! These shrimp were stuffed with pork and then wrapped with bacon...oh my...double pork goodness! The grits were so creamy that they were almost like mashed potatoes and melted in your mouth. The dish was amazing! The portion was perfect also, and I got to take some home! I ordered one of the limited time specials, the Duck Confit Ravioli. Let me tell you, I am glad I was able to dine at Della's in order to be able to try this dish because it too was amazing! The dish was served with Pan Seared Duck and the ravioli was covered in a Gorgonzola Dulce Cream Sauce. It was heavenly! I was meeting friends for dessert afterwards, so we passed on dessert, but I plan on returning to try something the next time. I will definitely be back to try some of their other signature dishes and bring my foodie friends. I look forward to listening to some live jazz, too. Della's After Dark is a MUST dine experience for everyone. I promise you, you will NOT be disappointed.

I had heard good things about Della's, so I had high hopes but was ultimately underwhelmed. I went for lunch, which offers a more deli-like menu, so maybe that was the issue. My order was the special of the day, which was a burger and fries. Unfortunately, there was simply nothing about it that would make me want to go out of my way to go back. In addition, there was a hair that had been melted into the cheese which was an unpleasant discovery, but I was so hungry I just pulled it out and kept right on eating. I realize that things like that happen, but the quality of my experience, the price and the food all prevented me from giving a higher rating.

Drawn in by the aroma! I've lived here all my life and never had the desire to come here. That's going to change. It's a great little hole in the wall. While waiting for my steak sandwich, it's apparent that Della knows most all her customers and makes a point to meet the new ones. The steak sandwich is great, simple and quick. I shall return.

Like the other reviewer said, just go! You would never know it was anything other than a Bistro. Our server Miguel was fun and very attentive. The live music by Nicola was far beyond what we had expected and we asked where else he was playing so we can see him perform again if he isn't at Della's. I saved the best for last... The food is fabulous. We had zucchini fritters, mussels in garlic butter appetizers, both great. The hot bread was great. We ordered a bottle of the white burgundy wine which was superb. Entrees we chose were crab and asparagus pasta with wide noodles and beef tenderloin which was cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth tender. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this little gem to any other foodies in the Tampa area.

Della's is a hidden gem tucked away in a small plaza off of Oakfield Drive in Brandon. The owner Bev serves up delicious, unique sandwiches, and the soups are always good. Great relaxing atmosphere that makes you to want to try every one of her homemade desserts. Get there early, as lunch time is crowded full of Brandon regulars who know that this is one of the coolest places around. The free Wi-Fi will entice you into bringing your laptop/PDA to hang out for a while. Great, friendly staff. Turns into a fine dining/jazz club at night run by Bev's son who is an incredible chef. Definitely a must to visit.

We came here for my birthday dinner last month. I'd heard of Della's and had been meaning to check it out for the music (as somehow I'd gotten it into my head that it was a jazz club). Well, it's not a jazz club, but there was a keyboardist there that evening who did a beautiful job and even humored me by singing my request, "My Funny Valentine." Della's is intimate and cozy. The service was excellent. Our server was excellent. And Chef Debra was absolutely phenomenal! She came out to our table to explain the pork belly dish in great detail. And let me tell you -- SO GOOD! The shrimp and grits were good also, but that pork belly was a showstopper. To top off a great choice for dinner, the chef sent out desserts for us when she found out it was my birthday. Way to make a girl feel special! And that's when a restaurant has done its job in "delighting" the customer.

The meal I had here are what dreams are made of. Shrimp n Grits concept expanded into shrimp stuffed with sausage, wrapped in bacon & brushed with teriyaki. Ohhhhh my. I love the creativity and energy of Chef Dolce Debbie. Well done!

A hidden gem in Brandon! Not knowing what to expect, I ventured out for a decent meal and some live jazz close to home. In a daytime deli location, Della's After Dark turns into a culinary delight on Friday & Saturday nights. From the greeting until I stepped out of the door, I felt catered to the entire evening. Now the food: The Chef's amuse-bouche - Pickled beet braised in brandy topped with goat cheese and a balsamic reduction drizzle followed by a vitello tonnato that was highly recommended and did not disappoint. The entree was steak au poivre with a sweet potato & bacon puree was cooked and portioned to perfection. Dessert options paired with illy espresso were a wonderful way to end the dining experience. I chose the flourless chocolate torte that had hints of Chambord in every amazing bite. Compliments to the Chef and staff!

My husband and I strongly recommend Dellas! This was our first meal and we enjoyed every bite! The French onion soup was delightful as was the salmon served with spinach and cauliflower mash. My husband ordered the chicken Panetta. We eat out a lot and this will be our special occasion and "just want to relax with my honey" date place. Everything from the atmosphere, sweet jazz, service and food was excellent! Try Dellas after dark; bring someone you care about or want to know better plus your appetite for fine dining and be pampered for the evening. Ps My husband won't let me stop this review unless I tell you about the pasta and desserts made in house. They are delicious too :-)

A great place to meet a friend for lunch! They had a good selection of fresh made sandwiches and salads - something for everyone's tastes. The restaurant stayed busy but never felt stuffy or overcrowded. I was there with an infant who slept most of the time and there was room to maneuver his carrier to a table and out again without causing any major disturbances (I'm notorious for knocking the carrier into things so space is a bonus for me). The staff was very friendly and the food was good. I will be going back - and next time I'm trying the desserts - they looked amazing!

There were four of us dining at Della's After Dark for a Valentine's evening. I was first impressed by the host who warmly greeted and seated us immediately (as we did have reservations). The Jazz duo were fantastic. Unfortunately, our dining experience went downhill from there. We were not aware that we would not be able to order from the menu. We were given a printed sheet of paper with a few choices on some of the courses only. On the top of the sheet was a set price of $65 per person - no other price options were available. We felt like we were "hijacked". We definitely did not eat a $130 meal (plus drinks and tip). We felt like everything was stretched to make the maximum amount of money for their establishment. The fish I ordered was bland and there was very little of it. For $65 I would have expected lobster. My husband's steak was dry and bland. One of our guest sent his fish back because he said it was too bland. Had we been advised of this so called "Valentines Special Menu" and its price, we would never have made reservations for this particular evening. We'll definitely be spending Valentines somewhere else next year. The two stars are for the Jazz Duo only - our dining experience would get no stars!

So, I was really really excited to come here, I've heard so many great things and I just couldn't wait. 2 friends and I decide to have dinner here before a play we were going to see. Soooooo needless to say, since you see the stars I wasn't really impressed. The service was the worst part of the night, I think our server was maybe a busser that got thrown into it. he was pretty awful. Everything took FOREVER, and he never brought my to go box, which made me pretty upset since I barely ate any of my meal. I was going to get escargot, but they were like 15.00 and no one else wanted them, so I didn't want them to go to waste. My friend and I ended up splitting the grilled Cesar, which was good, but nothing to write home about. I had the special which was e'ttouffe which also was OK but nothing special. I was especially upset by the service and the lack of pop that I got from my food. All in all I may go back to see if my experience was a fluke, we will see.

The chef Debbie her is a true five star! I will not eat here unless I know she is behind that curtain cooking! She is amazing, sweet, and made me experience meals that I normally wouldn't eat and fall in love with again! She is a true chef and I have found my new romantic spot for me and my hubby!

Worst service I have ever had. Waited a half an hour just to get a drink and then an hour for the appetizer. It's bad when a table of four comes in after you gets their food, finishes, and leaves before you and has the same waitress as you. The only reason I am giving it two stars is for the food. If you have 2 hours to kill and are not hungry then go there. I will not be going back. Oh and don't be surprised when you are charges a liquor tax if you order a alcoholic beverage. That was a first for me as well.

We've been trying to find time, a sitter and a reservation so we could enjoy this highly-rated spot. Finally our opportunity came and we used yelp's reservation system to book, 8:30 on a recent Saturday. In a sentence, Della's isn't fine dining, but it's very nice dining. There is beer and wine, no bar and no hard alcohol. A decent wine list and a couple beers do await, although none are on tap. The hostess was very pleasant and seated us promptly, water and bread soon followed. The bread came with a roasted pepper and oil mix which was pleasant. The bread was standard. Our server was cordial and presented us with an amuse bouche - a small taste of cold gazpacho. Both myself and my companion found this to be the most flavorful taste of the whole evening, cold and refreshing with strong vegetal flavors and very warm cayenne finish. We were also surprised with a glass each of complementary sparkling wine. Other than the soup, just about everything else was OK but not exceptional. The grilled octopus we started with was criminally overcooked, some parts were black rubber and didn't even register as being octopus. It was paired with arugula and kiwi, which while worked well enough, the kiwi was cut into large 3/4" slices. The dish had promise but needed more finesse, more care. The grilled salad was split between two plates, a surprise to us. It was also good enough but needed more care - the croutons were Sysco ones from a bag and while the lettuce was grilled nicely the anchovies were cold and tasted like they had just come from the freezer. For entrees I had the sausage stuffed and bacon wrapped shrimp, my companion had the oyster special. I had four large shrimp, probably U13's, the sausage had good fatty flavor but the bacon wrapping didn't have time to fully cook by the time the shrimp was done, so it was soft and rubbery underneath. The grits were standard. The plate really needed something bright and fresh to liven it up, but I didn't have trouble finishing it either. The oysters came three ways, all of which were disappointing. The battered ones were heavy, the rockefeller ones in puff pastry went dry and the last preparation literally tasted so strongly of briney oyster concentrate that we couldn't guess at the preparation - boiled maybe? Weird. I will say that both dishes were hot and were served promptly. We didn't stay for desert. The final surprise of the evening was the bill for the oysters - $38 for a plate that didn't get even a quarter eaten. We will pay good money for good food, sadly this wasn't the case here. Overall the service was an easy A- but the food didn't live up to our expectations, especially considering the 4.5 star Yelp rating. It's the finest Fine Dining in Brandon, for what it's worth. Our server did bring complementary desert toffee bites which were nice, salty and crisp. Note, there were no vegan entrees and only one fish item.

Working right down the street from Della's how could you pass up their food for lunch. Close to work for quick pick up or short time delivery. The owner and staff are constantly busy and always get our orders right.. The food is great and good quality. Della's is one of my fav lunch spots!

It wasn't bad but it was AMAZING either, which is NOT what I expected from all the reviews. Great live music, awesome service - our server Courtney was the best, and friendly staff. It was VERY quiet in the restaurant, I was afraid to talk because others could hear our conversation. They have a small menu and a few specials that the waitress will tell you about. Food wise, the brandy braised beets with herbed goat cheese, the was compliments of the chef before the meal, delicious. I had the mozzarella and tomato salad for my appetizer, it was delicious. For dinner I had the Carbonara Gnocchi dish, I don't feel this was worth $18, I didn't enjoy the dish that much. My hubby had the sweet potato soup and the manicotti, he enjoyed both of the dishes. For desert we shared an Italian Strawberry Polenta cake, it was OK, what made it unappetizing was the small gnats that were flying around the plate. All in all, a good place if you are looking for something new. Our tab was $67 before tip. We most likely will not go back.

went to Della's after dark 2nd table seated at 630 Pm sat nite Wine list was disappointing Waiter had no clue regarding what to recommend since none of the wine White was familiar to me Asked if they had anything close to a Kendall Jackson Chardonnay and he had no idea what that was. Our appetizers were good fried gator and onion soup However, my husband ordered a 30$ entree NY strip steak which was undercooked rare vs medium which is ok I guess but the meat was tasteless and tough sweet potatoes were not hot and also had no flavor my filet was cooked fine but ravioli was undercooked. The service was mediocre at best because they had no hostess and had 2 wAiters to deal with all the tables and deal with phone and customers coming thru front door. He was so in the weeds he ignored us for at least 40 minutes our experience was poor and we just paid our check and just wanted to leave 100$ later we were just glad to go home very disappointed atmosphere is also mediocre, cracked tile on partition. Lighting too bright for Jazzy restaurant kind of a moot point

WOW! Food was awesome from beginning to end. Unbelievable Burrata appetizer to start along with escargot and caesar salad...all a must. Ordered the Shrimp and Grits that was recommended by previous reviewer and it was fabulous! My husband ordered Lamp Lollipops and they were another WOW! Chef Debbie is a major talent....Brandon should get wise to this hidden gem before we steal her away to New York!! Con...it's only open on Fri and Sat...or we'd be there again tonight!

Chef Debbie does a nice job with Italian foods. Escargot was very good. Olive tapenade, could have eaten a bucket load. Duck ravioli was pricey but very good. Duck Breast perfectly cooked. Onion soup, though not Italian was amazing. Great beef broth, sweet onions, just enough crouton and lots of really toasty Gruyere cheese. MMMM

Hidden gem in Brandon.....don't really go to Brandon for anything except maybe to Joann's and Old Time Pottery.....but my husband works out that way. The best sandwich by far (IMHO) is the chicken salad club on pumpernickel. WOW. The staff is very friendly and although I haven't been for After Dark, it's something I'd like to experience and from what I understand it's supposed to be a bit more of a fine dining experience. Looking forward to it.

Even one star is generous. The only resemblance to 'fine-dining' was the prices. Duck breast more than 1/2 fat and a miniscule portion. No fresh vegetables. Yes, we complained to the waitress but there was no reply from the management. We were seated in the back of the room while many tables were empty. We did move forward when requested, but the room was still empty. The jazz musician must be a relative with a keyboard. Don't go!

This place had great food and service. Barry was our host and Cray was our waitress and they never failed to check up on us almost every 15 minutes. They asked how the wine was, the calamari, the duck and steak, and desserts. Everything was delicious! Im super impressed by the way they cooked my duck. I don't like fatty meat but this duck was seasoned so well I ate it all. The duck was paired with duck ravioli and though it sounds like it would be overwhelming, it wasn't. The two perfectly complimented each other. My friend had the filet and I had a bite which was very juicy. Desserts are great if you're looking for something sweet but not too sweet. There was a jazz band playing when we came which made the experience even better.

Very nice but not quite a 5-star level considering the price. Excellent specials but disappointing calamari. Butternut squash soup was delicious but not hot enough.

I really have given this great place 5 stars, I've been following Dolce Debbie for some time and know this would have been an amazing experience hands down. but so far this was my first visit here, will have to go back VERY SOON to have more perfectly cooked dishes, however we did have an extremely beautiful great meal this time , presented with a lot of panache and showmanship, the food presentation was of highest scale, much like being in a New York City restaurant, BRAVO Beverly and Dolce Debbie. Very classy atmosphere, this place goes from cute little sandwich and lunch shop by day to high end 5 star service and gourmet food by night!, it oozes old school big city charm and prestige. Without going into too much detail for each meal and bite, which I'm sure changes quite regularly as Chef extraordinaire Dolce Debbie creates new masterpieces weekly, as I understand form her website,. I will just say the food here is delectable and to die for. Outstanding bites were the shrimp and grits wrapped in Italian bacon, the duck confit was prepared to perfect temperature and taste served with a ravioli stuffed with sausage in cream sauce,, amazing! The soups (French and squash) and yeah pretty much everything. I loved how they kept bringing us small bites , octopus and arugula, crostini with a beet salad dressed perfectly throughout.... EVERY SINGLE dessert offering was more decadent than the last, the pistachio brittle with a sweet and savory twist is addicting. The wine list is one to try, specialty wines not found in most places selected specially for them, Their service is artistry, a delicate dance for the senses that makes you feel like royalty for the night, in Brandon Florida! A rarity not found in this area. Again, a restaurant of the HIGHEST ORDER. I will say I left extremely satisfied. The service here was otherwise impeccable, probably the best I've ever had in the area including the like high-end restaurants in the tampa area. Still, a place where art is rendered weekends only. Bravo!

We've been meaning to get to Della's but parenthood kept us away. Date might at Della's was AMAZING. The atmosphere is so romantic and relaxing. Service was great and music was better. Our gastronomic journey began with a deliciously cool and refreshing cup of gazpacho, flavorful and gently spicy. Every plate that came to our table left us in awe of Chef Debbie's talents. The gator was the best I have ever tasted: tender, savory and crispy. The prosciutto and arugula flatbread was succulent; will order every time. Our main meal was the gnocchi with cream sauce and pancetta. I have eaten gnocchi at dozens of restaurants (and made my own) and this was bar-none the best ever - hearty but not too dense; the perfect texture for this succulent little potato dumpling. The sauce was heavenly with tiny bites of pancetta. And as if it didn't taste delicious, the presentation was perfectly sophisticated for the dish. I cannot believe we didn't come here sooner. Della's is our new date night location. A must try for anyone who knows good cuisine.

Go here! There is not a nicer, more intimate restaurant in Brandon. It is only open on the weekends (I'm pretty sure it's a deli during the week but don't let that tidbit of info sway you into thinking anything less of this restaurant). The menu is intimate, the service is spectacular and their ambiance is wonderful. Definitely worth going to for a special evening out.

After hours of scouring the internet for non-chain, local restaurants in this area of FL, I turned to yelp for some suggestions. I took a leap and made reservations for an early dinner on Saturday with my parents while I was in the area visiting family. I had just spent a week in Orlando for a conference and the last thing I wanted was another 'deep fried this or over sauced low quality that." I am very pleased I made this leap. From the starter of a delicious flatbread, made there to order, with a balance of salty prosciutto and spicy arugula, to the well flavored French onion soup before the main course, it was delicious. Those were only outdone by the arrival of our main courses, pasta Bolognese, twist on shrimp and "grits" by using polenta, and I had the pauvre filet. Amazing quality, and subtle flavors enhanced every bite to the point that all of our plates were clean. To also reenforce the experience that we had with the food, the service was outstanding. A very attentive staff to meet any of our needs mentioned, and as well, Deborah, the chef herself, made a round through the dining room to ensure her standards met our expectations. It was pleasant to have this much attention for just dinner! The desert was a perfect end to our meal, lots of interesting flavors but not at all heavy. The portion sizes for every course was just right. If you are looking for a place to eat a lovely meal made by a chef with pasion for the products that are presented to you, then check this place out. Support your local businesses, as I will again the next time I am back in FL.

The story behind Della's After Dark is just as timeless as the cuisine. Remember all those fantastic dishes you see on Chopped and Iron Chef America - thinking to yourself, "Where can I go to get a meal like that...?" Look no further because this is the place to go and you absolutely will not be disappointed in Chef Dellagrotta's cooking talents.

I had never been to Della's before...but I'm letting everyone know you should go. The service and food were exceptional. From the minute we walked in there was a calming but inviting atmosphere. The live band was playing and the host immediately seated us. He let us know that if we needed anything adjusted, whether it be volume level, air-conditioning etc, they were willing to do it. The waitress was not over our shoulders every minute but popped in only when necessary. They knew the menu like the back of their hand. On top of the amazing service, the food was amazing. I tried the "Gator Two Ways" and the chicken dish with polenta. They also served us some bread and an amuse bouche. For the price, I believe this place is well worth it for a fancy night out!

What a disappointment! The worst service ever! I eat out a lot and I have never received slower service than this, it was ridiculous!!! Maybe it was an off night, but mark my words the first and the last visit ever! The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't as good as the other reviewers make it sound, it was just okay. The service was just so horrible and they didn't even seem to care. Horrible evening, go somewhere else.

We invited another couple to go there with us for our shared anniversary. They were out of manicotti which is what one of our party wanted. We explained that she likes more simple food and if not a fan of lamb, ox tail, goat, duck or any of the other "specials" The waitress recommended a pasta with a beef sauce that would be good. The shrimp and grits were the only good food at the table. The pasta dish was dry and horrible and served in a very unappetizing looking "dog food like" bowl. Based on our bill the pasta was actually lamb not beef. The waitress never even asked why it looked like the pasta had not been touched. The other 2 people ordered chicken piccata which was dry and bland. The men covered it in salt and ate the chicken but the pasta was left. The asparagus on the side had absolutely no flavor either. As a waitress I would have asked what the issue was as the only plate that was not left full of food was the shrimp and grits. Then to top it off the A/C broke while we were there. It was so hot in the restaurant that when they finally agreed to open the door the 90 degree Florida outside felt better than the climate inside. Bev, the owner of the deli, was eating there with a large party. I can only assume the chef used all of her talents on them, as our food was mediocre to poor. We listened to other diners around us with the same complaints. Not worth a $130 dining experience what so ever. When we got in the car, my husband said we will NEVER go back there. Love to support small business but not with this quality.

I have never had dinner here at "Della's After Dark" but have had breakfast and lunch many times at the daytime "Dellas". I love their breakfast sandwiches on the croissant or cuban bread. The breakfast wraps are also good.

Food was definitely good. It's not southern style at all though. And if you have a big appetite I suggest you look elsewhere. Their portions are pretty stingy and it's very pricey.

This is far and away the best restaurant in Brandon. I'm a regular there for dinner. They always have interesting specials. The menu is an eclectic blend of internationally inspired dishes. There is live jazz beginning around 7pm Thurs, Fri, and Sat. They are open for lunch and have an equally interesting selection of sandwiches and soups.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
