This place has exactly what I hope for when I go to a hole in the wall. I've had the breakfast burritos (with meat) and the burrito supreme - both with extra-hot chili. The breakfast burritos are large enough to be difficult to finish off. Granted, I get the meat burritos, but I don't get potatoes and they are still good sized. I think the price for these is right on. The burrito supreme blows away any burrito with rice in it. It's full of beef and beans. They drench it in green chili and add cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and a big glob of sour cream. I order some onions on mine. It is huge (I sometimes finish mine) and tastes amazing. Truly a satisfying and reasonably priced meal. About the extra hot green chili: Super hot and super delicious. I'm no wimp, but this stuff makes me feel like a gringo. I swear that I'm going to get blisters on my lips and tongue as I'm eating it. The taste and the slow-burn keep you coming back for more, though. Blisters be damned!

Just swung in for a Friday Night Fix. Ordered the chicken burrito deluxe (cheese, beans, lettuce & sour cream) and it was excellent! Outstandingly seasoned meat, flavorful beans and the green chile (hot) was just right. I can't name a single thing wrong with my food (and I'm pretty picky about Mexican) It's pretty dangerous that this joint is only a few blocks from my house - I'll be back often! Update - August 2012: I'm addicted. I get the chorizo breakfast burrito pretty regularly - it's outstanding!

I would suggest traveling further for better burritos. I get the breakfast burrito, and every time I've gotten it, it has been packed full of nothing but potatoes. The little bit of everything else I taste (i.e. Egg, Bacon, Chili, & Cheese) tastes good, but there is hardly ANY of that in there..it's like I ordered a potato burrito. I have not tried any of there other food, and maybe it is good, but when you advertise burritos, you should have good burritos.

The food is acceptable, but the service is terrible! The staff is rude and inconsiderate and they refuse to honor the prices on their menu! To bad because they have pretty good food but the service is so bad I would avoid!

I Love Big mama's!!!!!!!!!!! If you are looking for a big restaurant to sit down and order pretty breakfast food, keep driving. If you are looking for extremely fast service, CHEAP, good quality, yummy breakfast burrito goodness, you hit the spot. For $3-4 you pick your meat, heat level, cheese or no cheese and you get a burrito that will keep you full until lunch time or beyond. It is on my way to work and 2-3 times a week my co-worker tells me "if you stop by big mama's i'll buy both our burritos!" she is just as addicted as I am. There is nothing better than one of these bad boys when you are hungover, I might add. Get the chorizo- HOT! My favorite.

I have been going here for quite awhile and never had problems. Yes, sometimes had to wait awhile for food to come out, but it is usually because they are busy. When co-workers here I'm stopping at Big Mama's I get a list of burritos to bring in.

Definitely a good hangover burrito...or even sober. Very fast and pretty cheap. Their french toast is pretty awesome too. If only they were open at 2:00am.....

I'm in the area for a class and I was craving a breakfast burrito and this place was luckily right across the street. Their breakfast burrito was good (little skimpy on the filling) and it came out really fast! They had advertisement outside saying 2 dollar breakfast burrito but that only meant an egg and potato breakfast burrito, add anything else and it easily went up to five dollars. I feel like that was poor advertisement on their part. Nothing to rave about but it's not terrible either.

Yum! They have awesome breakfast burritos. The hot green chile was pretty hot, too. They also offer medium and mild. Also, they are inexpensive and quick.

Very friendly service and quick too! The hot green chili is decently hot but not over the top next time i will try the x-tra hot and see what I get from it . As for the burrito and its contents nothing real spectacular but far from bland and disappointing. Anyone looking for a quick fix on the go I would recommend this place as it is quick, decently priced and doesn't taste like a day-old egg fried over non cooked potatoes!

I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. Tasty, well-priced breakfast burrito. Green chile had lots of flavor, eggs tasted fresh and the size was perfect. Definitely going to add this place to my breakfast rotation.

I'm surprised this place is still open.. Went there a while back over priced for the amount of food you get. I didn't think it was that good either.

Ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito with hot green chile and cheese. It was quite tasty! A little messy, so definitely not for car consumption though.
