Excellent BBQ! We were driving in the area and Yelp brought us here. The food was great, the shop is very homey, and the servos was very friendly! Desert (fried Twinkie) was a very delicious end to a great meal!

Upon arrival smokey goodness meets you at the door. KT has a varied menu of burgers, ribs and other BBQ favorites. Specials are listed on the wall. We shared the All in One platter, which had smoked sausage, moist pulled chicken, brisket, pulled pork and fall off the bones ribs, three sides we chose baked beans, coleslaw and onion rings and four cornbread muffins all for less than $20.00. They have four sauces on the table for you to use as you need. It's worth a drive from Denver for some great barbecue or if you are driving I-70 like we were, pull off the road in Strasberg for some delicious BBQ.

We found this place after a long day of driving. We had the "Try it All" platter like another Yelp-er. Fantastic. The brisket was my favorite. The beans and onion rings were yummy. The cheesy potatoes were okay. There are only 3 tables - we shared a larger table with another couple who came in after us and had a nice chat. This place does a HUGE take out business with the locals. Who could have room for dessert?!? A great stop along the way to Denver. btw - it is BYOB

If you a hungry traveler traveling down I-70, I recommend stopping off at this little gem. It's right of the highway and hits the spot. It's a small little joint but the food won't disappoint. We got the sample plate of all the diffrent meats and 3 sides with 4 corn bread muffins. Perfect for two or maybe even three. The women who took our order was very kind. It looked like this place was ran by all women! Proof that chics can bbq too! Yummy!

Delicious. Small place, only three tables. But the staff is hustling. The Side Saddle Special, a brisket sandwich with onion rings was on point. Topped it off with Apple Carmel pie. I'd come back for sure.

I wish I could review the food. We stopped by on our way to Longmont, Colorado from Baltimore, Maryland, and were treated in a most unwelcoming fashion before we could get to the building from our car. I believe the woman who shouted at us is an owner. Apparently, she thinks anyone with a dog is a trespassing lowlife.

This little place is a gem. We have dined at some 5 stars restaurants. We have also had the privilege to eating at some man vs food and food network places. With that said this place was amazing the meat was great. It was so tender and the sauces all homemade and unique. The carrots were like dessert and cole slaw was great. The salad for the price was huge and the dressing very good. So to sum it up this little place needs some more attention. So take a minute and stop in.

Ribs, ribs, ribs!! Best I've ever had. (And I eat a lot of ribs). Small and cozy place with a very friendly staff. I'll be coming back here often.

We go here all the time and the food is always excellent. Would recommend the brisket sandwich with coleslaw on top. The onion rings and sweet potato fries are great. If it's your first time there, try the sampler plate. The sweet tea is excellent and the owner brews it herself. I would also recommend the strawberry shortcake; it is two deep fried twinkies with strawberry and vanilla ice cream and delicious strawberry jam/goo/essence. It is so, so good. She also sells toffee, which I bought but haven't tried yet.

Great food, killer deserts (deep fried Twinkies!) and hands down the best deep fried pickles you will ever eat (slices in awesome batter with great dipping sauce). Make sure you Check the hours before you go and make sure they are open!

what a little gem, my cholesterol will never be the same we found it based on the iphone yelp application, and it was exactly what we were looking for small (old house) not much on the atmosphere, basically 3 doors converted into tables seating 6-8 family run we had been struggling with car troubles and just wanted good food, another couple at our table recommended the brisket (wow) -- we opted for the try-it-all ($20, oh so good), perfect for 2 normal eaters, 3 side onion rings beans and cheese potato (eh) AND the best corn muffins ever

This restaurant has no affiliation to the KT's BBQ in Broomfield/Lafayette, CO. Different menus and BBQ sauces. On a long drive back to Denver from Missouri, got hungry after realizing that we passed Limon.. What to eat? Where to eat? Looked up places in Deer Trail.. no luck.. Byers... no luck neither.... and found this place with some Google reviews and decided to stop in Strasburg, CO. It's located conveniently next to a KOA campground. Small house that's converted to a restaurant has really cute charm. The place is clean and well decorated. They make everything in house and has burger and salad choices if you're not in the mood for BBQ. We ordered a Try-All BBQ plate to share between 2 people. It comes with couple ribs, BBQ pork, BBQ brisket, BBQ chicken and hot links. You get a choice of 3 sides and also you get 4 corn bread muffins. The price is around $19 for the plate to share and with couple of sweet tea the total came out to be about $24 before tip. We got fried okra, onion rings and cheesy potatoes. (Some other choices that I can remember are fries, sweet potato fries, hot veggies, mashed potato... ) The sides were delicious! There are 4 BBQ sauces to try. My personal favorite is the Lawman with a little smoky flavor. Also the Vaquero sauce is really good but it tastes more like an asian sweet chili sauce more than hot BBQ. Don't remember the other 2 names. All really great stuff. Everything turned out great and the chicken was tender.. I wish there was a bit more flavor on the meat but I guess the whole purpose is to try all sauces so the meat is not seasoned much with the exception of the hot links and ribs. They also have fried Twinkie for dessert but we got too full on the main course we didn't have room to eat more. Also had some left overs to take home for snacks later. Big portions. They also do catering and there is 1 table outside that you can sit and eat... it was too hot for us to do that the day we stopped by. (No shade.) They also offer Taco Tuesdays and Brunch on Saturdays. Definitely will come back again if I was to drive out East from Denver. Great treasure find in the middle of nowhere. :)
