This was one of our absolutely favorite places we stopped to eat it along our road trip! We just happened across this city after visiting the National Dinosaur Monument, and thought we'd give it a try based on yelp reviews. This place is so charming, and very well kept up. Even the restroom was nice and clean! But the food is totally award winning! My Mom & I got the Italian Nachos (which I highly recommend) and a pizza.... it was soo soo good! The staff is super friendly, and the prices are totally reasonable. If you're traveling this way, you have to stop here! You will be so glad you did! :-)

They won some award for best business in Rangely. It was busy on a cold monday night. Price is fair, the sandwich taste great and you get one side dish- house soup, salad or fries. here's the website with their menu: letseat.at/GiovannisItal…

Some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The burger with the green chiles on it, I believe it's called The Western, was super yummy. I make it a point to make my family take me here when I'm in town.

Our family stopped at Giovanni's for dinner, passing through to Grand Junction. It's a charming, cozy place on the outskirts of town. Everything was clean (especially the restrooms!) and we loved the decor. Our waitress was exceptional--quite friendly and helpful. (I am terrible with names, but she is going to college in the area and has already lived all over the world!) She answered all of our questions, gave recommendations upon request, and told us what the most popular dishes are. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip with (deep fried) pita wedges for an appetizer ($8) and it was amazing! Everything was served warm, except the portions of celery--they were appropriately cool. The dip was thick and tasty and there was a perfect ratio of chips to dip. We ended up not-so-politely scraping the dish clean, it was so good. Our main dish orders consisted of a kid's meal pizza (about $4), Papa's Choice (baked penne bowl with spicy sausage, bell peppers, onions, etc. and homemade spicy marinara sauce--$12ish), and three Stromboli sandwiches ($9-10). Everything was exceptional! The portion sizes for the Stromboli was HUGE; we easily could have split one between the two of us. We had both ranch and marinara sauce to dip the Stromboli in, but all of us preferred the marinara. It has a wonderful taste--I would love the recipe! The Papa's Choice dish was very tasty, as well, and a good size for a hungry patron. It was served with a choice of soup or salad--clam chowder was chosen and it was delightful--and a wedge of garlic bread. The pizza was good, too. A small, personal sized pie with pepperoni was perfect for the not-so-hungry member of our party. The service was prompt and cheerful; she checked on us often and didn't let our drinks empty. She has been one of the best waitstaff we have encountered so far on our road trip. There are also trivia cards available at the table to pleasantly wile away our time. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by!

How does an Italian restaurant have the best burgers around? John always comes through when I have him feed our entire workforce. Good service and great people!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
