Eaten here three times. All three times I'd give it the same 4/5 rating. Their food is always really quality, but its expensive. The wait is usually pretty long, and I generally try to call ahead and get a reservation. The lettuce wraps are a must-do, as anyone who visits PF Changs knows. One visit had us at the bar, which was ok, but not for a date. Guys, take the time to call ahead and get a real table. Don't go looking for a cheap meal here, but hey, the food is worth it. I could do without the lecture on how to mix/match/create sauce mixtures with all the options at the table. I'm just not into making my own food taste good at a restaurant. I want it to just taste good to begin with. Maybe that's just me being picky.

PF Changs. Good lunch spot. Kung Pao Chicken. Scallops are good top. Glass of $7 Sav Blanc. Great combo. The chicken wrap is also great.

I enjoy their drinks and appetizers more than the entrees. Five stars for the Lettuce Wraps, Fried Green Beans and Crab Wonton. Pretty decent Mojito too! I had a great time tonight with the my fellow colleagues. All us from out of state, but each have a Changs in our hometowns.

not good. they dumbed down the menu. no more Dali Chicken, which was the best. the hot fish was very overcooked. the crowds are down, which does not bode well.

Went on a Sunday and got there before the church group arrived. The wait staff was very efficient - water glass was never empty. We can always be guaranteed the same good quality food and quick service. We always get the lettuce wraps and this time shared a dish. Although it is more expensive than other Asian restaurants, we splurge a couple times a year. I must warn you that to me the food is very high in sodium. That is why I give it a 3 star rating.

Definitely not typical Chinese/Asian food, so if you are looking for that, go somewhere else. I have been here multiple times and have always had a good experience. Their lunch specials are a great price. Their entrees are enough to share (one entree is definitely enough for two people). Loved their dumplings! Pepper steak, orange chicken, and beef with broccoli are always great. Staff is attentive, and I have never seen the place be messy or dirty. Also, I have never been here when it wasn't busy or there wasn't a short wait (or the only immediate seats were in the bar, which is also nice). I know I will definitely be going back, love this place!

I always have gotten good food and service at the bar when I visit this restaurant, If I am hungry and passing by I make a point of stopping here. I get the spicy green beans and sichuan shrimp pretty much every time.

We tried Pf Changs and judging by the long wait, I thought the food would be wonderful, however, i found the food to be bland. It was not horrible, but not what I expected. Smaller, local Chinese restaurants are much better. The service was great, which is why I give it two stars.

Super upscale Chinese goodness!!! Let's be honest, when you come here, you come for the mutha effin Lettuce Wraps!!!! Those. Are. The. TRUTH. Everything here is very tasty, living up to its high prices. Very classy joint. A must try.

Hard to beat PF Chang's, but this one is too small.

We don't usual frequent chain stores but we got a gift card so we tried them out. Overall we were happy with the food and the service was excellent. Only drawback was the price of their beer and cocktails, about $2 more than the local establishments we normally go to in Loveland.

Always love P.F. Chang's. The food is always exotic, well prepared, generous, and yummy. Don't get here often, but never disappointed when we do.

Let me start by saying, I had the Pad Thai Chicken, I ordered it with extra limes as that's the way that I like it. Now this is the first time that I have ever ordered pad Thai and had it come with tofu, now in this case it is pretty good, I felt it could have been fine with half that amount, but again I was adjusting to having tofu in this particular dish. I will update this review once I have returned, but for now, 4 stars.

Took the boys and their friends to P. F. Chang's in Loveland Colorado last night for Brenden's bday and everything was delicious! The egg drop soup was flavored well; the kung pau shrimp and chicken - delicious every time - the honey chicken and sesame looked delicious across the table - (laughing) some of the guys were hungry and I forgot to ask to try their dish However, on a good/positive note - they ate it all. Courtney (Brenden's gf) had me try the Walnut Shrimp with Melon and Wow! Kudos P.F. Chang's! As always the lettuce wraps are fabulous and I have to order several orders for everyone - This is Brenden's go to restaurant on his bday and we all had a wonderful time - you can hear everyone talking at your table, the food is perfect and the restaurant is lovely. Looking forward to coming back

We've eaten at several PF Chang's and while the food isn't exceptional it's always pretty good and you know what to expect. Not here though, not at Loveland's PFC. My wife was begging me to take her there so we stopped in for lunch. Service was good, but the food was awful. The lettuce wraps were at best only ok and they were the high point. My Mongolian Beef was over cooked and tough as hell. My wife's Kung Pao chicken had so much salt she couldn't eat it. We ordered egg rolls and pot stickers with the idea we'd eat a bit and take some home, but they were just as inedible as the rest of our meal. In the end we left it all. Never going back.

I generally refrain from writing reviews about chain restaurants, because frankly, I find them to be kind of irrelevant. A Chili's is a Chili's is a Chili's.......... Ok you get the point. However, I did want to write a little "mini review" about my last experience here, just to help out future diners. The lettuce wraps are to die for.... most people know that, I think... However, the hidden gem for me on the menu is the dynamite shrimp. Oh. Emm. Gee. So delicious. Spicy in the kind of naughty, makes-you-want-to-eat-ten-more kind of way.... However, I held back and only ate one more, since I was eating in front of my "skinny friends" and didnt' want to look like a heifer. (Come on, don't look at me like that. You do it too.) Foods to avoid on the menu? Unfortunately, the Seared Ahi Tuna was not up to snuff. First of all, it was rolled in seeds. Normally, I'm used to seeing black and white sesame seeds. But this tuna was rolled in what I'm inclined to believe was sesame and CARRAWAY seeds!! For black-licorice haters like me, this was a huge disappointment. Plus, the sauce was strangely bland and didn't add much to the dish. But at least I got my lean protein in for the day, right? I'll definitely be back to PF Chang's. But not with my skinny friends.

I have to say that I love the P.F. Chang's chain! I've been to several of them and am always impressed. They use big, bold flavors and they do it well! I have been to this location a handful of times. Consistently delicious and we always receive excellent service. The only thing I don't like about this location is that it's ALWAYS packed. There is almost always a crowd at the door waiting for a table, screaming children everywhere and it's just flat out noisy. It's the kind of place where if you want a quiet meal, you want to go late on a week night or in the middle of the afternoon between typical lunch and dinner rushes. They take reservations and the bar is all open seating. If you're a table vulture, like I am, it's easy to pick out who's about to leave and snag their table as they are getting up. Overall, it's a great place to grab a bite to eat as long as they're not busy. I'm sure I'll be back again for more!

Fantastic service, amazing waiter and the food was perfect and delicious! My husband is allergic to mushrooms so they brought out a special menu for him with everything that didn't include mushrooms! We didn't even ask for it. It was a busy Saturday night but we were seated immediately in the bar and everything came out in an appropriate amount of time. Loved it all.

PF Chang's is really kinda gross. It is generic commercialized food that just seems too processed. If you want good Chinese food in Loveland I would highly recommend going to Canton Palace instead. Every dish I have had here was just mediocre. I have even gone back a few times to make sure that it was not a fluke. I tried to like this place but I really do not.

Inconsistent. Had a great lunch at about 11:30a one day. However, our last meal there was utterly inedible (we were there right before the switch to dinner service).

I have eaten at several PF Changs and like the restaurant, but this one at Centerra Shopping Center in Loveland, CO is not good. I went there for a late lunch and the place was dirty. Not after-a-busy-lunch-serving dirty, but DIRTY. Our booth had dribbles of sauce ond other food debris on it. The floor was littered with food remnants and trash. Don't even get me started on the shape the rest room was in--long-term filth. The food was a disapointment. Three small bits of duck(?) in the seasonal Peking Duck Summer Rolls and bland beyond belief. My cold noodle salad was equally unimpressive. The noodles were so overcooked that they could have been ramen and, again, little flavor. My husband's Chicken in Black Bean Sauce was flacid pieces of chicken in an ocean of what I think was oyster sauce with a couple of black beans. The rice? It was good, but it was not enough to save this sorry mess.

Service is great, and the food is good. The price is a little on the high end compared to what you get.

***This is a copy of a review I wrote 3/17/2010 listed under PF Changs China Bistro in Yelp. Wish there was a way they could combine duplicate listings.... Never thought I'd go for Americanized Chinese food from a national chain. But here I am, time after time. And I haven't been disappointed so far. We tend to eat in the bar, and for 6 pm on a Friday night, the wait wasn't bad. We stole our seats within 15 minutes of arriving. The service was attentive and friendly and professional, even though the bar was full. I have my usual appetizer favorites, (now I'm a dim sum kinda girl, so dining on appetizers here is kinda like that, but with exploded prices) The Calamari --doesn't have the curly creepy bits, but I'll tolerate that. They cut their calamari into strips so it looks more like fries than anything else. BBQ Ribs--juicy, meaty, saucy, finger suckin' goodies. Crab Wontons--more crab than cream cheese was the promoted benefit. This dish was a true disappointment: at $7 an order, I would expect to get wontons the size of white castle burgers and I would expect to get more than 4. These were skinny-ass little puny things that had some dried out flavorless crabby stuff inside that made me...crabby. But then they redeemed themselves with the Green Tea Noodles! Served room temperature, these noodles look rather plain and, uh, green, but the flavor was subtle and delicious. The portion was more than generous for being just under $5. Definitely a new favorite of mine. Yummy Yummy. I'm a fan on flavor, ambiance, most prices, and side order options and prices. UPDATE 4/25/2010 Got to try the Green Tea Soba Noodles! 2 sizes at $3 and $5 gives you an option. The are so light and clean tasting, the description does not do them justice.

LOVE IT! This is one of my favorite restaurants by far. The food is so different and delicious. And they just changed their menu and added some great new things. Don't forget to try the ginger mojito; better than any other mojito I've ever had.

I was a sous chef at P.F. Chang's years ago at one of their flagships when they first went nationwide. So I'm intimately familiar with the food. Now sometime in the last 4 years they changed the ingredients, the menu is the same but base ingredients now include some kind of what I think is tomato paste/sauce which was no doubt done to save money but the flavor/quality got flushed in the process. The Loveland one is the single worst one I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them. At least I still have the old recipes memorized.

PF Changs, Loveland.....what can I say. Great service, great food, great drinks. I normally am not a fan of the corperate restraunts but this PF Changs was an exception. We sat at the bar and had a strange looking but friendly bartender named Justin. His service was great and he made one hell of a drink. A few of the managers stopped by and were all very personalble. Scott, who I think was the General Manager came by and talked to us for a while, nice guy. The food was all good and we were a happy group when we left. The front patio is kick ass...amazing view of the Rocky Mountians. The hostesses were all pretty fine too.

Recently my husband and I (after a long day hiking miles in Rocky Mountain National Park) decided to stop for take out on our way home. We're generally not the type to go out to eat, but it was late and we were starved. We hadn't been to a PF Chang's in quite a long time so made a pit stop for some take out. There was a small wait in the door, however the hostess led us to the take out area to order. After a short wait the man there took our order and told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait. So we sat at the bar and ordered a drink. 25 minutes later.. I approached the take out counter to find the gentleman that took our order had left..without putting in our order. The manager was called over and immediately (sincerely) apologized offered us something to eat while we waited (we kindly declined) and told us our food would be out very shortly. Soon after our food was taken out to us at the bar, when my husband took out his wallet, the woman told us it had been taken care of. We were delighted and finished our drinks. Upon paying for our drinks on the way out the bartender stated the same, the drinks were on the house. On our way out we caught the manager and expressed our gratitude! That being said, mistakes happen, communication gets lost especially at a place as busy as PF Chang's on a Saturday night. How they managed that mistake blew me away. What shocks me above all, how surprised THEY were that my husband and I dealt with the news so unperturbed. Which made me think back to the food industry when I was younger and peoples' orders were wrong, etc. Remember they're here to serve you food, not kiss your ass. That old saying "Kill people with kindness", goes a long way. Long story short: I'm a loyal customer from this moment on.

Chicken Lettuce Wraps are A MUST! Basically that is the only reason I go to PF Changs. The food is pretty good, but I've had more bad service than good service. But the last time I went there was the best service I've ever gotten at Changs. We came in like 30 minutes before closing (which is a NO NO most of the time) the manager was friendly and our server was AMAZING! He was soo nice and even if it bothered him that we came to eat just before closing, he never showed it. And all I got was the wraps, so we were in and out pretty quick. The thing that I HATE the most is the CAFETERIA SEATING. You can't get out of your chair without bumping the person behind you. It makes it pretty difficult to have a nice quiet dinner...unless you are lucky enough to get a booth. So to recap....If you looove chicken lettuce wraps and feeling like you're in a middle school cafeteria, than PF Changs is the place for you!

I'd never been to a PF's before as I new this would happen. But we rolled into town and it was 9:30 and it was right by the hotel, so I capitulated. The place was well decorated, but I'm there for the food, not ambiance. I usually love garlic spinach, but there was almost no garlic, and it wasn't chinese spinach. They shoulda called it "Spinach leaves on a plate". My bet is you won't see many Chinese eating here.

PF Chang's is one of those places that we go when we want "nice" Chinese food, though I would have to say that we don't have the chance to make it there very often. So last week my husband's boss gave him a $50 gift certificate to PF Chang's after he fixed her computer, I immediately declared a date night the following evening! We got there at 6:30pm on a Friday, so it was more than a little busy. We decided to sit in the back patio for earlier seating (though we still had to wait about 30 minutes) and it was surprisingly nice back there. The area was covered, had heat lamps if it was cold, and was much quieter and spacious than the large dinning room. Since we had $50 to blow, we got the chicken lettuce wraps (a must), seared ahi tuna appetizer, Chang's chicken, and curry vegetables. Everything tasted wonderful, even the seared ahi tuna considering it isn't a sushi place! Our waitress was super nice and helpful and we had no complaints from our dinning experience. Needless to say, we left happy! In an odd previous experience at the same location, they brought out an extra dish that we didn't order (not really a problem since we got free extra food). Only weird thing is that the manager came rushing out soon after insisting that it wasn't a mistake and that they gave us an extra dish for "good customer service because they noticed we liked spicy food." It was all very odd and our waitress that evening pretty much ignored us after that. Like I said, not really a problem to get extra food, but it was kind of weird how the manager handled it. This was over a year ago, but I thought it was an interesting story to share. Only downers about this place is that it can get very busy. The hostesses also weren't the most pleasant up front and kind of blew off my husband when he went to check how much longer our wait was. But other than that, an overall enjoyable place to get some great food for a lovely little date night!

I have heard of PF Changs so when my parents were in town we decided to give it a try. None of us were impressed. Our food was OK, although for the price the portions were not that big. Also, the seating area is wide open living little room for privacy. I do not mind this in cheaper restaurants, although for the prices PF Changs charge they should have a much better atmosphere.

Another one of my favorites... Mark is the man here.... I ask for him exclusively! They have great drinks, & yummy food. It can be a bit loud at times but the round-ish booths are romantic & cozy. It is a smaller P.F. Chang's... so the wait can be longer. I am not sure why Northern CO is overlooked, but we get smaller sites. This would have been better if it was a larger with more outdoor patio space and a nice water feature would have been great!

I took my sister here for her birthday yesterday. Her first time dining here. She absolutely loved it! Food selection was great! They do not serve a small amount of meat, loaded with veggies. You get your money worth. Service was above adequate, and the food was great.

if you like sodium inlaid foods than this is definitely the place for you. it is a chain, it is popular, but for quality of food, i am at a loss on this one folks. there are a dozen places i would rather go in our little corner of the world that would defeat this places taste factor any day.

Not my first PF Chang's dining experience, and probably not my last. This is the new location at Centerra and the *first* time I've been to PFC and never had to wait to be seated. The girls and I had the never-fail-to-please lettuce wraps, and split scallops in lemon sauce (I thought they were gross, but everyone else enjoyed them) and a chicken/eggplant dish. My pear mojito cocktail was okay, not too strong, which is good since I had to drive back to Denver. Dessert was also okay - they make little treats in shot glasses (I'd never sampled these before). Overall, I just felt a big MEH from my experience. But hanging out with the girls was fun. My last PFC experience was in Vegas where I was drinking from a big Eiffel Tower filled with marg - now, that makes any experience more fun. (I seem to recall lewd drawings being made on our check though...hmmmm.)

I'm always been a fan of PF Changs 10 it's always been a favorite place for my mom and I have lunch while shopping at the Shops at Centerra. We decided to have lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon and sit on the patio since it was still warm in September. The hostess told us we could seat ourselves and a waiter would be right with us. When we sat down there were only 2 other tables on the patio, but after waiting for 15 minutes without service we went back to the hostess stand to asked about sitting in the bar instead. The manager happened to be there and was very apologetic. We told her we understood they were busy and we were not in a hurry. After having a fantastic lunch we were surprised when the bill came and our drinks and appetizer had been comped! Great customer service! Will be back again!

  • Erica E.

Great service and atmosphere. Very clean and food came out quickly even though they were busy. My only complaint is that you can't get a side of fried rice, it has to be an entire order but it is delicious anyway. The fried green bean appetizer with the sauce is a must!

    (5)
  • Kay F.

After celebrating our anniversary here for several years, this year things have changed. Staff did not remove dirty dishes between courses; we had to ask for the special sauces (which we didn't know ahead of time, so did not have them for the appetizer); and no longer a complimentary dessert to celebrate! Food was still good, but the overall experience was not so special.

  • Bruce D.

Overall, dinner this time at PF Chang's was pretty disappointing. Other than their standard lettuce wraps, everything was "ok" which is faint praise indeed. The calamari was completely without flavor; not interesting at all. The wait staff was very distracted and while it was busy and they had a lot on their plates (pun intended), they should pretend that it was good that we had joined them and they were happy to see us. Not the case. It was where my UNC student wanted to go for her birthday party but the food and service were just mediocre. This is why I rarely dine at PF Chang's when on business.

We had a great experience at PF Changs for some happy hour offerings. They have a really nice Happy Hour menu with some affordable, smaller portions. We got the chicken lettuce wraps, steamed potstickers, edamame and the tuna poke bites. Everything was really tasty! It would have been really affordable had it not been for the sesame chicken and FOUR GLASSES of $9 wine we got (oops) but I would definitely say it's a nice end-of-day stop for some good nosh and drinks. Yum!

  • Doug C.

Not sure what is happening at this location. Got seated for lunch right away and had a wonderful waiter. However, lunch (2 entrees off of the lunch menu) took 45 minutes to get to our table. My usually excellent pepper steak was bland and lukewarm. . The brown rice was undercooked. Clearly the kitchen was having an off day. But when lunch for 2 costs nearly $40 with appetizer I expect more. Drinks have also gone up in price as 2 diet cokes were 5.98. Definitely will get water next time.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
