Service was great! The spicy Romano chicken had a great kick and the endless salad was a plus!

My lady brought me here for a work function. I wish I had stayed home that night. A frozen TV dinner would have been preferable. I ordered a spicy seafood pasta dish. First off, the seafood was minimal. Secondly, it was FAR from spicy. I mean seriously, I was desperately trying to find ANY spice. And lastly, perhaps the most crucial part. The sauce. It was not thick (that is to say it was almost water,) it was not seasoned, and it was just so bad. I don't often say that. Usually there is some sort of redeeming quality. No, just no. Never again.

First and foremost a huge "THANKS" to our server Jessica! You made our SPECIAL DAY incredible! Even before the big moment you were an awesome server. Thanks for everything. We love this restaurant. Food is always good and the wait staff and everyone is really good. Never have any problems with food or service. The manager is very friendly as well. We live down south but we choose to come to this location for sentimental reasons! You guys are ALL the best! My fiance and I will never forget our Special Saturday night September 6th experience! :-) Thanks for sharing our moment!

My husband, father, and I ate here last night. My father got the lasagna at the recommendation of our server, I got the baked cheese tortellini, and my husband got a build your own pizza. The food was okay but not what I expected for a meal that cost us $60 before the tip. We did enjoy the food but, for a chain and for the price, we expect to be able to take home leftovers and my husband didn't even get full from his little pizza. And, frankly, having tasted the pizza, my husband makes better. I don't know if we'll be back.

Very disappointing. We have eaten at Johnny Carinos a few years ago and loved it. Either this location is sub-par or the franchise in general has gone down hill! Frozen chicken patties, mushy tilapia, boring pasta, iceberg salad. Only the wine and bread were good. Never again!

I normally do not take the time to write reviews, unless I feel that my feedback will truly impact other customers. The potatoe soup was decent but the Lobster Ravioli was by far the worse type of Ravioli I have ever tried. This is probably my first and last time at this restaurant.

Eat here often because its close. It's nothing out of this world as far as the food goes, its a standard American take on Italian food. Drinks are simple, good. Their bread is however good and baked fresh with the Italian oils. My favorite here is the Chicken penne Gorgonzola, pretty good. Normally good servers. Decent price. Good location. It's nice for a last minute date.

As far as chain Italian eats, Carino's is definitely one of the best places to go. I usually get the Chicken Marsala or angel hair with artichokes... add chicken of course! Both dishes are awesome! Wait staff is generally pretty knowledgeable and eager to assist. My only gripe is that Carino's seems to have become stingy when it comes to the bread. One roll... seriously? I came to eat, not just look at the entrees. Aside from this one minor complaint, I don't think I've had anything less than great service here. I will definitely be returning.

I met a friend there on Monday night and had a surprisingly good meal. This is not a place I frequent. In fact I think the last time I ate at Carinos was when there was a location in Fort Collins and that was quite a few years ago. But the one in Loveland was a good location for my friend and me to meet so I figured I could find something decent. Since it is a chain I kept my expectations in-check but they really exceeded my expectations. We had very good salads. I chose the vinaigrette (possibly the chianti vinaigrette) dressing - tasty. I then had a pasta with a gorgonzola cream sauce and chicken. It was really very good. Since we were on a roll I figured I'd give dessert a shot, again, trying to keep my expectations in-check. I ordered the lemon layer cake and was anticipating something akin to your basic single piece of lemon cake you'd find at Safeway. But fortunately, I was totally wrong. The cake they served was absolutely delicious--not too sweet, very nice cake with nice texture and good, not too sweet or too sour lemon. Couldn't believe it -- still can't! Again, maybe this was just beginner's luck. I'd like to go back and try something else and see how it is, but in the meantime, if you're looking for a decent pasta with a gorgonzola sauce and a delicious lemon layer cake, I heartily recommend Carinos--yeah, Carinos. Who knew?!

Carino's is chain restaurant food, but it's decent chain restaurant food. Came here last night with the family after some shopping at Centerra and the food was pleasantly tasty. And, I'm not sure if this is an every Wednesday night thing, but bottles of wine were half off! Dad and I shared some Riesling, and our server happily corked what was remaining so that I could take it home. We started with the firesticks - tastier and bigger than I expected. My first instinct was to go with the ranch dipping sauce, but trust me the marinara is a more delicious option. I then went with the jalapeno garlic tilapia. The portion was much bigger than I expected. It was actually pretty good. And, the lettuce on my side caesar salad was green and fresh (which is not always the case at some restaurants). Overall, a pleasant dining experience. Is it somewhere I would go out of my way to eat at - no. But, if I'm in the Centerra area, aka the land of chain restaurants, Carinos is a good choice.

Came here today after a long day at work. Not only did we wait 20 minutes in a visibly empty restaurant. We were the only ones seated in this particular area to the back corner and they continued to sit others in the main area. We placed our order and after 40 minutes recieved our luke warm food. I could say im dissapointed but alas the other reviews speak for themselves. This could be a great location with some direction and training and more present managers actually hearing employee conversations. Had to ask for refills on soft drinks every single time.

Pretty decent, just a normal Carino's. I was impressed with the size of my lunch salad. My main beef was that they supposedly have curbside takeout service but in reality you have to walk inside and stand next to the bathroom if you're picking up a takeout order and that just feels weird.

Went for lunch, my party ordered a sandwich, soups & salads, after 40 mins the soup hadn't come out and we notified we'd take the rest to go. 10 mins later still no bill or food to go. When we all got up and I gave another wait person my card as I didn't want to leave without paying even if I didn't get my food, there was no break out for what I was paying for, only the credit card slip. The food came as we were walking out, late to get back to work. When we got back to work and opened our soups, they were only half full and not the type we ordered. I called the manager and instead of an apology I received excuses why I was wrong to expect soup in less than 40 mins. Never again.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
