Great place to go for lunch if you're looking for a good sandwich. I like the fact that they're creative with their ingredients and make their sandwich bread reminiscent to Schlotzsky's. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a decent amount of meat compared to the bread, although I thought there were at times a little too much spicy mustard. I kind of wish I had gotten their potato bacon soup to try since it was so cold and windy out. Guess that means I'll just have to go back soon!

After selling our house, our realtor, the hubs and I came here for lunch and a mini celebration. The sandwiches remind me of Schlozskys (I'm sure I've spelled that wrong). The bread is totally unique and served round with different sizes available. Today I opted for a tuna sandwich. I asked for no onions but got them anyway. Not a biggie except I don't like wasting food. The mayo with the tuna, tomatoes and pickles was really tasty. The hubs and the realtor went for what this bread is made for - meaty, cheesy goodness. The bread is toasted and I preferred having the insides warm too.

On a recommendation, I gave this local shop a try. It's very good. I've been here twice since then. The bread is like schlotzskys. Round sourdough and rye. I like the jalapeño cheddar with sante fe chicken. The meats are fresh and thinly sliced, then piled high. There are a lot of choices. It'd take a long time to get through the menu.

Think Schlotzsky's Deli if you've ever been to that restaurant. It's not often you find that unique style of bread: airy and spongy with a kind of hard shell glaze. It's a good deli sandwich for on the go. I got the double classic and it had ham, salami, lettuce, olives, tomatos and mustard. Very good! They also have pizzas and daily soups. Today's was potato and bacon, wisconsin cheddar or chicken noodle. Mmm! Tucked back in the corner of an older shopping center The Green Onion is a good place to grab lunch on the way to the Rocky Mountains. It's a walk-up (or wait in line) establishment so your direction through the front door is toward the back corner. The service is very kind and upbeat. I'll be back to try their Italian sandwich.

Pretty good! Fresh bread. No area for kids to play, a downside, but fresh ingredients and sauces!

One of my favorite places so far in Loveland. Love the Turkey Reuben sandwich!! Their soups are pretty good as well. Kind of like Schlotzskys if you've ever been there.

Friendly service and fresh food. Great lunch spot. Salads, soups, pizzas, hot sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies can be found along with fresh baked cookies.

Food was surprisingly bland. Service was lacking. Tip: Make sure that you print out any coupons because the staff will absolutely not accommodate you otherwise.

Undecided? Go. It's on the east end of the Safeway strip and parking is available on street as well if all the ones in front are full BUT Many folks are picking up to go orders. I recommend the citrus iced tea- tastes like apples and cinnamon in it. The bread for the sandwiches is actually shaped like buns, fresh made but they are the kinds they say. The wheat tastes like a fluffy wheat bread, the dark rye has excellent rye flavor. They also have sourdough and others that we didn't taste. Besides sandwiches we tried the vegetable pizza to share as aside. The flavor tasted like a well-blended mix of cheeses, spinach, mild spices with olives and shrooms, we opted out of the onions LOL! The crust Is done to perfection! We recommend you give it a try- it is very, very, good. Bagged chips are available but we prefer fresh foods. The person at the counter was welcoming and very helpful without being pushy and the one who brought the food out to us was cheerful . People were leaving and seemed very satisfied. Overall, a memories that will bring happy thoughts when we think of eating here again. 5 stars because we couldn't find anything detracting - it is a solid 5 for us, including the price.

I have lived in Loveland for close to a decade and I had no idea this gem was here! Tucked away in the strip mall by King Soopers, this place is a fabled legend to locals... and Yelp users ;-) Upon walking through the doors, I immediately took note of the relaxed atmosphere. There must have been a cycle rally, because there were at least a dozen cyclists. I don't think I've seen that many Schwinn's outside of Boulder. The choices of soup du jour looked appetizing; however, on a day that was nearly 100°... I concluded it was in my best interest not to challenge the gods of sweltering summer heat. Instead, I opted for a mango and a wildberry smoothie which were just what I needed (I'm sure you have the Cars' song stuck in your head now, right?!?). Sandwiches reasonably priced and full of freshly prepared ingredients. Would I recommend Daddy O's... YOU BETCHA!

So long Subway! A great local sandwich shop that I love. It will be difficult to try them all but I will give it the old college try. Only complaint to date is servers just kind of throw your food down at your table without much acknowledgement.

Really nice local sandwich, soup, pizza place. Everything I've had here is wonderful! They have a great variety and quick service. Friendly people. I come here often. Good stuff!

Finally came here and was more than happy with the sandwich I had. Wandered in just before noon to a line of 20 or so people, which only took a couple minutes. The dining room was nearly full but my sandwich only took another couple minutes. First you taste the bread, which was warm and flavorful (Jalapeno Cheddar, very nice indeed), and next your teeth make it through the texture elements of the sandwich. The lettuce was crisp, the bread suffered from the textural failings of all Colorado bread but still had a good crunch, and the meat was both abundant and delicious. The cheese was also well melted onto every bit of the bread, which was a nice touch. My favorite part of my meal was how much meat there was compared to vegetables - I was left with nothing to complain about in regards to value, taste, or service. I will absolutely be back.

Went here with the hubbs the other day for a quick lunch. The food was delicious! I had the turkey reuben and it was really great. The food came out quickly, even though there was a long line. The atmosphere is pretty lame, but I'll suffer through poor decor for good food. :)

It seems this was the Schlotzsky's that was once down the street, they had a falling out with corporate, and moved to their own space. Pretty much the same menu, with some changes. A nice change is that they have a basic coffee bar, along with smoothies, lots of space, and free wifi. Seems to be popular with some groups of seniors, and it tends to be quiet and a good place to get some work done if you have that need. The website offers some basic coupons.

Daddy O's is a great little sandwich place. All of the employees are so nice, every time I go there. Sandwiches are fresh and tasty every time, soups are always tasty as well. Daddy O's is MUCH better than Schlotsky's. I highly recommend it!

Schlotzsky's like round sandwich bread here that I don't get often... mmmmm. Has a nice local, somewhat old-school feel as far as delis go. Both hot and cold options. Place is a bit small though so consider your sandwich to go during prime hours. Staff was polite.

Yummy chicken gumbo and the Tijuana sandwich was Delicious! I wish I would have tried this place sooner ... cant wait to go back. I seen some homemade danishes and cinnamon rolls that looked good, I didnt try them but they looked great.

We were driving through on our way to the Rocky Mountains National Park and I yelped this. I was looking for a local deli. We liked it so much we came back for breakfast. The bread is like the old Schlotzky's, light and airy. The jalapeño bread was great. My son had the roast beef and my daughter the turkey club. My husband had the reuben. All were gobbled up and I have picky kids. It is located on the corner of a strip mall that includes Safeway. The decor is average, but plenty of seating. You order at the counter. The food came quickly with yummy pickles. The ordering was efficient, but the people working there didn't seem particularly happy about it. I guess you can't always like your job, but good customer service requires a bit of cheerfulness.

Visited the restaurant. Staff was somewhat friendly. Ordered chef type salad. It came out looking like a side salad. Once and done.

Daddy'O's is a good, locally owned deli located next to Main Moon Chinese in Loveland. Daddy'O's features Schlotzky's style bread, but with better quality deli ingredients and more options. Try one of there sandwiches with a friend egg on top

Daddy O's is a great little sandwich shop! I love their sandwiches and soups! Go with the Turkey Classic, or Santa Fe Chicken on the jalapeno cheddar bread. Very delicious! I can't think of any sandwich shop that I like better honestly. They are the best!

Friendly staff and delicious breakfast sandwich! I ate an egg and cheese sandwich. The special sauce was great!! Just enough spiciness to it. And one of the staffers brought my carry out food to me, instead of having me get it at the counter. I only wish the sandwich were larger.

Been here twice now. Its not a bad place to stop for lunch, but the sandwiches could be better. Kind of plain, and the ingredients don't seem top quality. I like Spoons better personally.

Nice local mom and pop shop for soups and salads, always fresh! I just love seeing Jodi at the counter every time I come in, she is great and friendly! I have tried their salads, great too, I dont care for their other sides besides chips, kinda wish there were some healthier options for sides besides potato and mac salad....

So sad to have to be done here. Food is great, In fact it was the first place we ate at when we moved here almost two years ago and we order often..... Until last night. At 6:48 I called to place a pick up order, I was told they couldn't take credit cards past 6:45 because their cash register wouldn't allow it. I asked them if they could write it down and that I would be 5-7 miles away. I told her I would be a couple minutes past 7 and she said she wouldn't start it till I got there. I said "that's fine, I'm headed out the door now."' I get there at 6:59 as she is just locking the door and she said "I'm sorry we're closed". I explained I was the one who just called and she informed me that they weren't sure if I would come or not so they shut off the oven. These two young girls were so rude and unprofessional in the way they handled this and I was very disappointed they couldn't tell me this before I wasted my gas and time. I asked to speak to a manager and was flat out told NO and then they demanded I leave because they were closed. I go back today to speak to the owner and out comes the manager pretty much defending these girls and blaming it on their lack of training. No apologies, no assurance that this wouldn't happen again, no nothing but excuses. I loved this place and now I will be spreading the word on their customer service, or lack thereof and will never go to daddy o's again. I'm stunned, saddened and very disappointed in this local business I once loved.
