Great coffee place where you can enjoy a java, snack as well as art displayed on the wall. Very pleasant staff and comfy couches. What else can you ask for...

As far as the drinks go, no complaints at all. Tonight though, I was hungry and tried one of their hummus wraps. The wrap was supposed to have red pepper hummus, lettuce, tomato, and carrots. What I got was a ton of hummus and a few very soggy pieces of lettuce. No tomato, no carrots. The sell by date was for 6/16, nine days from now (kinda lengthy?)...I would be scared to eat that sandwich after another day or two given the gross lettuce. Bottom line: quality of wraps not up to par. Wish I had spent that five dollars elsewhere.

now when it comes to coffee i'm no fool. i found ziggi's when i was looking for a place that had free wifi. it's in the old downtown part of Longmont, in an old brick building. i absolutely love the old brick walls. i was cautious about trying their coffee, but i eventually did. i haven't had any of their drip coffee yet (it's been far too warm), but i do really enjoy their iced mocha. they also have open jazz jam sessions during the week, and many many music performers. it's a very nice place, the staff is very friendly, and the espresso is good.

Ziggi's is my most favorite coffee shop in Longmont. As a college student who has a lot of homework, I am never disappointed with the atmosphere. The baristas remain professional but are always friendly. I go here every day and the quality of the coffee and other drinks doesn't change. I highly recommend this establishment.

This place offer a pretty good cup of coffee. I went there the eniter time I was in longmont

Great place, friendly staff, great treats. My favorite place in Longmont to get coffee and do some work. They could use more outlets, but I certainly won't knock them for making me socialize instead of typing away on a computer!

My impression of ziggi's upon my first visit can best be described as... quite eccentric. Not in a bad way of course, but just an experience that kept sparking my attention. Firstly, it's very bustling for a place with very limited parking. The entire time I was sipping my coffee, people were circulating in and out and the atmosphere breathed a lot of energetic life. I ordered the almond joy in blended form upon scouring through some yelp reviews for recommendation. My friend ordered a mocha frappucino. Our collective impression was that the beverages were perhaps overwhelmingly sweet, with little to no noticeable coffee flavor. Maybe if I went in without the expectation that I was getting coffee and instead looked forward to a drinkable dessert then I'd say that the drinks fit the bill. But for the coffee enthusiast or those who lack the sweet tooth that I have, then I recommend shying away from these specialized drinks. My almond joy had a very distinct coconut flavor. But even I couldn't finish off my 12 oz because I felt the brink of a sugar coma coming on. We also split a donut, which was decent but not noteworthy. Prettier than gustatorily sensational. Outside the foods, my initial observation of my surroundings was that ziggi's was a visually pleasing joint in a kind of unconventional way. I love me some interesting local artwork on the walls. A lot of natural lighting, which was lovely. The decor was a lot of mismatched furniture that don't belong, but somehow go together. What was truly fascinating was the people watching! I'm not a frequenter of the Longmont area, but it seemed like ziggi's was placed on a very colorful and eccentric street similar to pearl street in vibe if you've ever been there. I'll definitely be returning... If not for the atmosphere, then to try more of the menu because some sweet old lady gave me a gift card there for no apparent reason (evidence of the unique people buzzing around ziggi's!).

This is Longmont's little gem. I have been going here since it opened, and when I worked at the Best Buy in Longmont during college I would stop by every. single. time I had to work. Now that I don't live in Longmont I make sure to stop in whenever I happen to be in the area visiting my Mom, I really miss it! My mom even got my sister and I gift cards here, when we live in Denver, because she knows we love it so much. It's a cute coffee shop in the heart of "downtown" Longmont that is great for studying (so says my medical student sister) or just getting a quick coffee. I usually get the butterfinger frozen drink with no whipped cream. It satisfies my sweet tooth and gives me that caffeine buzz I'm addicted to. I love seeing that Ziggi's is growing. I am like a proud mama. Something I knew when it was brand new and now it's popping up all over the front range. I wish continued success for the friendly owners who I remember would always be working right there with the baristas. Go Ziggis!

Great location, very good coffee products, very decent all-around coffee joint. Staff is a bit overwhelmed at times, so the service can be slow and you may end up clearing off and wiping down your own table. The Longmont Chess Club meets here on Wednesdays so swing by then to catch a good chess game.

I like the quality of coffee (not always brewed strong enough) at ZIGGIS on Main St. in Longmont CO. The food products are great too - organic and tasty. Atmosphere friendly with plenty of looking windows for the Main Strip. My issue...after going several times although the quality was great, each time I seemed to receive a different tasting finished latte although I ordered the same each time. **Also twice it was so incredibly hot I couldn't drink it for 30 min. & I like it hot, so anyone who knows lattes...if you scorch the milk it sours after sitting yuck! So...ok for good coffee, not my first choice

I frequent Ziggi's Coffee at couple of times a week. The staff there is awesome and recognize me and know my drinks when I go there. Brandon is an amazing business owner and has partnered up with my company to offer promotions to our clients and has always supported our Local Fundraiser, Bowling for CARHOF. I meet clients in a lot of different coffee shops up and down the front range and Ziggi's is the best yet. Their drinks are great and the atmosphere is perfect for both personal and business meetings. If you haven't been there, try it out. If you have been there, tell a friend who hasn't.

Ok...so we found this place about 4 years ago...just about a year after we moved to Longmont. I never in my life would have "thunk" that I'd be so hooked on a coffee shop. Where to begin...the owners, Brandon and Camrin...such cool people. They're friendly, they remember just about everyone who comes into the place...packed or not. I've seen Brandon handle some of the most difficult customers with a friendly smile and without blinking. Their staff is so friendly, fast and accurate with the orders. If you've ever been here on a Saturday or Sunday morning, it can be a zoo with a line out the door waiting for a latte or other delicious drink, but they always seem to move the crowd through within minutes while keeping the accuracy of the orders very high. They use Coda coffee from Boulder...I won't hold the fact that they get their coffee from Boulder against them! I love the stuff and buy a couple pounds of it a month for work. Their food items are delicious as well...but the one that tops them all is their Breggos ( breggos.com ) if you haven't had a Breggo, you're missing out. These savory pockets of deliciousness go best with hot sauce (we get our jalapeno hot sauce from a place in Palisades. It's called "Dad's Jalapeno Sauce" and is more about jalapenos than vinegar: pearblossomfarms.com ) What's kind of crazy is my wife and I live in Longmont because she used to work in Boulder and I work in Fort Collins. Now that we both work in Fort Collins, we don't want to move north because it would ruin our Saturday and Sunday morning Breggo's and Coffee from Ziggis every week! My only fear in writing this review is that Ziggis might actually get even busier than they already are. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

I love the interior of Ziggis. The natural light, brick, and high ceilings are unique and make the place comfortable and warm. This is a nice place.

Delicious coffee, wonderful baristas, great atmosphere. Tons of flavors of syrup to choose from. Almond milk available. Every trip I make to Longmont, I've got to stop at Ziggi's!

Ziggis is a real local gathering place in downtown Longmont. I meet my friends here many times a month and it's a hang out for us bookies after our Saturday morning book club. I love this place and the coffee is great too! Not to mention free wifi and a center location.

A great local coffee house. My favorite for working or studying. I would love if they carried true loose leaf teas rather than pre - packaged loose leaf teas but the coffee has never disappointed and FREE refills!

  • Claudia H.

So I love this place. I do. But only when I get a good barista. Some of them are absolutely terrible at making drinks. I regularly order the Italian cream soda. It's made correctly about 50 % of the time. Another great drink is the turtle. They've always gotten that one right. It's hit or miss, but I still go because when I get a veteran barista, it's amazing.

  • Rebecca D.

Cool space with exposed brick and lots of seating options, both indoor and outdoor. Always friendly service and an impressive selection of coffee and tea. Snacks are available too if youre hanging around to get some work done. Conveniently located on a corner off main street, this place is a great spot to do work or grab a tasty beverage to go!

    (4)
  • Megan E.

Cute little place to hang out on a weekend afternoon. Sun glares through the windows, but you can lower the shades and wifi is free. Coffee was good, not too hot, not too sweet, but a bit expensive. Overall a good option if you are a coffee person and still a good option if you aren't (per DH - smootie was good).

    (4)
  • Holly M.

You have to stop at Ziggys and have a satin vanilla latte and a scone!

    (5)
  • Michael M.

This place is nothing special, except in one regard, their bathrooms are locked, and it's pretty much impossible to use them. They don't really communicate that the keys are at the register, so I once waited after knocking and then some guy just walked up and unlocked the door. I know it sounds like a silly quibble, but coffee is a diuretic after all. It's also just a generally aloof atmosphere, and not special or friendly in any way that differentiates it from every other coffee shop.

    (2)
  • Allison H.

PLENTY of seating, great background music, good coffee shop AND it's open on Sundays when the rest of downtown Longmont is still snoozing in the 19th Century. The pastries looked yummy, but I just stuck to the coffee and a cozy chair (of which there were plenty) and spent a good hour, uninterrupted, with a book. This is the essence of "coffeeshop."

    (4)
  • Emily B.

Tasty coffee and great service. I've been here quite a few times and have always enjoyed my coffee. The baristas are very friendly and helpful with menu selections. I would recommend this spot to all coffee shop lovers!

    (4)
  • Russell B.

Powdered chai, powdered eggs, and Krispy cream donuts...what a pathetic excuse for a Colorado coffeeshop! How hard would it be to use real chai, and real eggs? After reading all the great reviews I wonder what these people are used to from coffeeshops. If you want good coffee and good homemade breakfast burritos with real eggs and homemade salsa go to JAVA STOP it is amazing and is only a couple blocks south of Ziggis on Main.

Ziggi's is OK. In a town with a SBUX on almost every corner (I know, that could be anywhere); Ziggi's is always crowded. Coffee is good and the service is friendly and happy. Parking is nearby and free (LOVE that, Longmont!) It's a nice atmosphere in a nicely restored old building. I have to resolve to go more often in 2012.

Short & sweet: Service: 4 Drinks: 4 Price: 3 Free wi-fi: .....I believe so.... Cleanliness of bathroom: 3 Dear Ziggi's, Even though I often call you "Gizzi's" (no clue why...), I like you. Lots. Your cafe itself is so darn cute and homey, with couches for casual lounging and coffee sipping, and tables set up for us "studying." And by studying, you really know that we're youtubing videos and checking facebook for the hundredth time. Your baristas, though they look so young (high school, was it that long ago??) are so nice and accommodating. And I recognize that your prices are a little bit more expensive because you're coming from the whole local, family-owned angle. Drinks are also good. . I like you and whenever I'm in town, I'm coming back so don't change.

You would think when you get fishy credit card charges from a business, the owner wouldn't be a jerk to you when you want an explanation. Needless to say, I will NEVER be going there again. If for some reason, you have to go to any of the Ziggi's locations (presumably every other coffee shop in town has closed for some reason, or maybe you just like their burned coffee), PAY CASH!

Best coffee in town. I like the one on Francis street - nice people and it it next to a good burrito shack and smoothie place.

This is the anti-Starbucks. Excellent snacks, good food, awesome coffee Free no password wifi and exceptionally friendly behind the counter pros. These guys care about coffee AND your personal experience in their shop.

We didn't get to spend much time here today but I liked what I saw. I only ordered a white mocha today but we'll return when we're back in the Longmont area. Good coffee, friendly service, and a spacious inviting dining area

I think the coffee sort of taste like dirt. It is weak.

  • Meo W.

Ziggies is an awesome coffeehouse, shame their coffee sucks IMO lol but they have a bunch of other yummy drinkage oh and gelato mmmmm. And baristas are always chatty and friendly :) And you can hang out for hours without feeling rushed or unwanted.

Ziggi's is my favorite coffee house in Longmont. Awesome coffee, their secret recipe hot chocolate, smoothies, gelato, baked goods and sandwiches from Great Harvest, and Burrito Kitchens breakfast burritos. They carry other items too - just listing my favorites. Two of the nicest people I know own Ziggi's (no, I'm not related, not an employee, and not in their social circle.) They also hire really nice baristas to take care of customers, and they do an amazing job. The atmosphere at Ziggi's is relaxed, even though it's usually super busy. There are a couple of couches, some big comfy chairs, plenty of tables, and a few cafe tables outside. They have free wi-fi, and they support local artists by displaying their art - rotating it every month. Ziggi's also has a drive-through location in the shopping center on the northwest corner of 17th and Hover, and I recently heard that they're taking over a location on 11th and Francis.

  • Lisbeth S.

Honestly, I hate everything Starbucks stands for, but at least the train their employees. Every time I try giving Ziggis another chance to get my drink order right, they mess it up. The baristas seem totally confused by even the most basic tea order, the drip coffee is invariably terrible and any pull coffee is poorly made, not to mention expensive. There is no real attempt at atmosphere, just a big room with cheap tables and chairs. Usually, children are running wild and annoying covers of Bieber songs are piped in. Yuck! Honestly, I feel bad for the baristas. Clearly the owner can't be bothered to give them any standard pointers.

I sometimes meet clients at Ziggis as they have comfy seating good drinks, coffee, snacks and decent internet access. One of my favorite coffee shops.

Fabulous coffee house with awesome coffee and fresh cookies and snacks. Free WiFi and super friendly baristas! The atmosphere is nice but it is always busy and crowded!

  • Veggie Q.

I know many of you will disagree with me for my reasoning, but I will not support Ziggys anymore. I used to go to their main branch and their little drive through several times a week until I found out the owner actively tried to ban medical marijuana businesses from Longmont. As a patient and an activist, I choose to put my money where my mouth is and not support a business that is against sick people. A super cute new coffee shop opened across the street, and there prices and coffee are better.

Love the Soy Turtles and Peanut Butter Mochas! Great place (all 4 locations)! Great music on Monday nights and the original location is downtown Longmont!

    (5)
  • Kim K.

I need to clarify my 4 star rating: I am a fan of their espresso drinks, atmosphere, friendly staff, gluten free breakfast breads, but not of their drip coffee. I love this place to bring a book and read while sipping on a latte and people watching. If their drip coffee was better they would get all 5 stars. In a town where coffee shops are a dime a dozen, Ziggi's is always busy and sometimes it is hard to find a table. It is nice to see a locally owned coffee shop on Main Street be successful. It seems to be a Longmont tradition at this point.

    (4)
  • Doug L.

Best coffee around here. Almond joy is my favorite latte.

  • Dulcie F.

Ziggi's is an okay coffeehouse. The folks who own it seem super nice, and the space is great. Love the exposed brick walls and high ceilings. Great downtown location. But there are two reasons (worth a star a piece) as to why I am a Caffe Luna girl: 1) Ziggi's coffee is weak. It is Coda, which is supposed to be good, but I guess they just don't brew it strong enough. Do not order the medium roast (unless you don't, you know, like coffee). You've got to order the dark roast. 2) The music. Good god, it is bad. Schmaltzy adult contempo crap, loud enough that you can't ignore it. Still Ziggi's is quite popular and there is always a healthy number of people working away (free hi-fi) and socializing. (Apparently those folks don't despise Richard Marx and Celine Dion quite as much as I do.)

    (3)
  • JP B.

Absolutely love Ziggi's! Great location on Main in downtown LONGMONT! Also great at 17th and Hover (drive thru), and on Francis north of 11th and south of Mt. View. Another drive thru on south Main. YUM!

  • Tiffanie M.

I hate to be the sole party pooper in the review section for Ziggi's but... Hubby and I went for the first (and only) time the other day and were not impressed with the giggly teenage girls working the counter who could not tell us what was good to order (other than hot chocolate) and who acted like I was an idiot when I asked if I got something that I hated if I could switch for something else. I ordered the raspberry something or other and it was only "ok". The coffee tasted burnt. The atmosphere was ok, but not super impressive in my book. Location is great, right in downtown Longmont, but unfortunately I won't be patronizing again.

    (1)
  • Kelly A.

If you prefer your espresso drinks without loads of sugar this is not the place for you. The beans are extremely over roasted, making the espresso unpalatable. I threw mine out after two sips. The taste is very similar to Starbucks, which again is over roasted so that people think they can taste their coffee through all the added sugar. If Starbucks is your thing you will probably like Ziggi's, but if like me you prefer coffee to sugar this is not the place for you.

  • Dean C.

I recently moved from Longmont to Boulder, and I can honestly say the only thing I miss about Longtucky is Ziggi's coffee house. I used to go almost daily for a butterfinger iced blended coffee, and it was worth the $5 and the extra calories. The workers are almost always happy and usually remember you which is nice when spending $25 a week on coffee.

Great coffee shop. Good wifi, coffee and tea.

  • Jason O.

Here's my usual bullet-pointed review: -Super friendly...that was nice! -Great atmosphere -Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating -Good for singles, couples, families...everyone. -Coffee was good,..I'm a drip drinker and this was brewed a little on the light side of things. I'll be back for sure when I'm in the area!

    (4)
  • Eric S.

Great environment, great drink selection, and great food!

  • Jason K.

Only thing that matters is the coffee was great, and the staff wore smiles and are genuinely kind.

    (4)
  • Tabatha C.

Great selection and imaginative flavors. I like the Almond Joy blended frozen coffee (Frapuccino to Starbucks folks) and the Peanut Butter Mocha (light on the PB). The drive thru location is fast and the gal there was very sweet. Look for 2 for 1 coupons in your mail-great value!

  • Kayla R.

Ziggi's is my absolute favorite coffee spot in Longmont. We are being inundated with big businesses, as the community continues to grow, so to see a local joint like Ziggi's always packed (and always adding new locations) is great. The espresso is good, the food is delicious, but it's really the staff and the sense of community that keeps me coming back. Their baristas are super friendly, and there are always musicians and artists and all sorts of interesting people hanging out there.

Big as my head? It was the scones AND the cookies! ...and the coffee was perfect too.

  • Alden C.

I went here the other day... wanting to continue broadening my horizons with restaurants to eat at in Longmont. I ordered Chai (iced), a sandwich with hummus and a honey wheat bread and a coffee cake. I have to say I enjoyed the Chai a great deal... there are several flavors to pick from and I chose a honey/vanilla (if I remember correctly) which I most enjoyed. The hummus sandwich was also most awesome. Those two items were what I enjoyed the most. Not to say that the coffee cake was not good... it was more than decent. I will definitely go back and would recommend this place to friends.

  • Jane G.

I have three favorite coffee places...Starbucks on Pace, Winot in Niwot, and Ziggi's. I go here mostly to have a latte while my son learns bass guitar at Guitars, Etc., which is just up the block. I also stop in sometimes when I go to the Library and/or the Used Book Emporium, both within a short walk of Ziggi's. The lattes are good, the large cookies tasty, the gelatos tempting, the ambience low key and pleasant, the baristas funny and funky and not at all corporate, and the couches comfy. My only gripe is that they just put in a TV--can we never escape from the ubiquitous CNN? Really, a perfect little spot in old town Longmont, and the brick inside and out gives it a nice warm feeling. I'm updating this review and awarding one more star because the great folks at Ziggis are donating all proceeds from sales this Thanksgiving (they'll be open from 8 am to noon) to OUR Center. I'm blown away by their generosity!

This was one of the most Sci-Fi experiences I have ever had. I lived in Wrongmont aka Dongmont aka Bongmont aka Longmont with my mom for a little bit when I first moved to Colorado. My mom and I would carpool to Denver everyday to work. One of our running jokes was the the coffee shop on Main Street...GIZZIS. Come on people, get your mind out of the gutter...or don't. That was the joke. Pretty much everyone in town had a laugh. We loved that one of the local coffee houses was called...GIZZIS! And we went in droves to patron the hilarious little shop. And then, my mom and I were coming home from a long Denver commute one evening and just like that, with no fanfare, GIZZIS was now ZIGGIS. huh? A HUGE SIGN, the same sign as before, NOW READS ZIGGIS. Our discount cards and a coffee mug that my mom had had the foresight to buy are the only sign that ZIGGIS was once our beloved GIZZIS. So I guess the joke's on us? Typical coffee house beverage and snacks fill this house. Nice atmosphere, pleasant people. Have one at Ziggis but please be vocal and ask why the name change...see if I'm making it up. Perhaps I am just a figment of my own imagination?

Ok, free wireless, good coffee and tasty snacks. About 80-90% of the patrons in here are taking advantage of the free wireless internet access. I'll review the wireless - it's great! Never dropped me and no "approval" website to go first to before getting online. Ok, the coffee - The mocha latte's are very good. Pastries, cookies and stuff is also very good, but stick to the coffee.

  • Alannah B.

I don't live in the area, so I've only been here twice to meet a friend (it was kind of the half-way point for each of us), but I would definitely be a "regular" if I did live closer. I am not a coffee drinker, but both of the chai blends that I tried here were great and the employees were very friendly as well. On both occasions, I hung out with my friend for around an hour and never felt like I was outstaying my welcome. It's a cozy, cute place with a very mellow atmosphere & good chai. Not too loud inside either (which is greatly appreciated).

My experience with Ziggis has been fantastic every visit. The owner, Brandon, can usually be seen working in the back and helping out the girls when it gets busy. I work just up the block, so I frequent this shop more than others, and find myself driving out of the way just to get to Ziggis for coffee when I am not working. They have a punch card for specialty and regular coffees (after 10 you get one free!) I can also sometimes find coupons which is so nice compared to full-price corporate Starbucks. The customer service can't be beat and my drink always tastes the same, something I've had trouble finding in other local coffee shops.
