Revised from previous review: I finally got back to Martini's Bistro, was seated quickly as well as given the opportunity to order. I wonder if going after 5:00 is better because they have more staff? Whatever the case, the food here is pretty good, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I'm a fan of their salads, as they have a wide variety of combinations, for whatever you feel like. Their sandwiches are pretty good, also. I wasn't as impressed with the bloody mary that was ordered, since it came in such a tiny glass, and not the typical pint glass. However, their patio is inviting and relaxing when available for seating. ****************************** I will give this place a better review if I ever decide to actually EAT there. I stopped in for lunch one day and waited for ten minutes just for someone to recognize that I was standing at the front waiting to be seated (there was no one else waiting). I waited another ten minutes for my waiter/waitress, or ANYONE to recognize that I was even sitting there, waiting for a drink order. Staff would walk by, but ignore me. After that, I walked out. Martini's really needs to pay more attention to their customers.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and thought the food was really good. Service was really good and the owners definitely want you to feel good! Can't wait for summertime to be sitting outside on the patio!

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday lunch and it was great! I had the "heartburn" and she has the "islander." Both were excellent. The "heartburn" is unlike anything i have ever had. Its chicken alfredo, but spicy. So so good. As for the martinis, i didnt have one so i cant vouch for that. The food was definately worth it so maybe after i have a martini i could give it five stars.

Terrible service, so bad I walked out...Had been here and loved it before, but they must be under new ownership. Asked for help locating my party since they didn't want me walking around and they left me at the door for ten minutes. Also had an uncomfortable waiting area, def. will not return after the extremely rude staff ruined it for me

I have been going to Martini's for many years and have always enjoyed the drinks and menu items. What I have not been impressed with the last 2 times I have been there is the owner and his manager. I went there for dinner with my husband and another couple. The evening started with a very loud party situated next to us which was celebrating a momentous birthday. It is not a pretty sight to see a 60 year old woman so drunk she falls off of her chair - I guess I can't blame the restaurant for that (or can I??). After ordering and waiting for 40 min for our food we were told they had given us the wrong "specials menu" and we had to reorder. Funny we were able to get the appetizers off of that menu with no problem...hmm. Our food came out in another 20 minutes (no rush there). I spoke with the waiter and said could something be done for our inconvenience - he offered to take a round of drinks off of our tab. Suddenly the manager is at our table wanting to know what the problem was - we explained the issue - he immediately throws the waiter under the bus and blames him for giving us the wrong menu and what did I want done?? I said a round of drinks taken off of our bill would be great. He comes back to our table with a round of drinks which I responded we don't need another round but rather take it off of our tab. He acted very disgusted and walked off. My husband who is not confrontational, hence why I did all the talking, walked over to the owner and quietly spoke to him in the bar area. He said we come here often but felt that as managers/owners they should stand behind their waiters and not blame them. Service is making the experience right for the patron and not excuses and rudeness. Our checks were brought to our table along with the 2 bouncers who stood behind our chairs as we paid our bills. As we walked out the owner came up to my husband, raised his voice, and stated "don' t you ever speak to me again like that in front of my employees". My husband replied "take ownership this is your restaurant". The owner then said "you can never come in here again". Gladly.....we can give our money to another restaurant that greets you pleasantly and you don't feel like you are a bother

five people arrived at the martini bistro in the snow with an amputee who could not maneuver the front steps of the restaurant. i went ahead and asked for the handicapped entrance. my instructions were to walk around the back which was filled with cars and then maneuver our party with an amputee with a walker through the kitchen of the restaurant. don't you have handicapped access in the state of colorado like we do where i live in california? this was totally unacceptable and the staff was rude besides. i would not go back there for any reason.

Everything here points to a great experience, but every time we have been something has been a bit 'off.' Strange service, errors with the order, less than hot food, etc. Nothing terrible and no bad experiences, but just always seems to leave you wishing it was just a bit better. I really respect what they are trying to do and want to like this place. Should give it a few more tries for sure. Also props for the location and setting.

I have been trying to eat at Martini's Bistro forever! I drove all the way to Longmont from Denver to eat lunch with a friend yesterday and was very excited to dine in this cozy looking little bistro. We entered the restaurant at 11:30 am and because my friend and I both have small babies I am not rude and don't drag my baby out to restaurants in the evening so I don't disturb other diners. Of course my baby was clean, fed and on his way to sleep for a nap so he started fussing. My friend and I had already ordered a drink each and our lunch and were waiting for our food to arrive. I ordered a fairly pricey steak and was very excited to try it. I was approached by a waitress who was waiting a table near us and told my baby was bothersome and I had to either go outside or to the bathroom with him... What on earth was I supposed to do in the bathroom with him.. sit on the toilet and rock him while my steak sat and got cold? I stepped outside and my son had already fallen asleep so was COMPLETELY quiet by this time.. My friend was so nervous her son would wake up and she would be sent to the bathroom too so we asked to just leave.. Our waiter was EXTREMELY sweet and apologized for the other waitress's rude behavior. I have dined at many nice restaurants in cherry creek and down town Denver sense my son was born and am always so impressed by how sweet and accommodating wait staff can be. I always go early so I don't disturb people eating dinner. I think an establishment should be more appropriate especially at 11:30am on a Wednesday. Someone eating at another table got up and expressed her shock at how I was treated when we were on our way out. Maybe they should put a "no children allowed" sign up if they do not want us horrible mom's dragging our babies in for lunch. When a place is too snobby to go on a lunch date with a friend and two babies ill pass. I also notices two people in the restaurant dining in sweat pants so its not exactly posh..

This review is based on three visits - 2 for lunch and once in the evening. Great atmosphere inside & on the patio and I have been happy with the service each visit. The food is good but not memorable. One visit my entree was barely luke-warm. Each time I must confess that I left having felt I overpaid for what was a good but not great overall experience. If you aren't afraid to get hit with a check that will surprise you by how much your visit just cost you, I think Martini's is best for a happy-hour visit with the food just being a decent complement to good drinks and hopefully good company.

i've been to Martini's a couple of times now and you can tell the owner and the staff take it seriously. The vibe is a little upscale casual...the service was prompt, friendly and when I sat at the small bar, entertaining. The Chicken Alfredo was excellent with a strong profile of garlic...the drinks are as reasonable priced as the food.Keep up the good work.

Best patio in Longmont. Great food and drinks. Great warm hosts.

Quaint setting, excellent food and martinis. The outdoor deck is quiet as this is a neighborhood setting. All of the dishes are quality. Good service and atmosphere! Most of the negative reviews are because of a firing of a beloved host/manager, not because of the food or restaurant itself. Those are unfair ratings and those who know the truth understand why this happened. Don't be turned off by the negatives from the haters of the owner.

This is a gem in Longmont. In warm weather, the outside patio is a delight to enjoy a meal and drinks on. We ate here last week and the food, service and ambiance was first class. One of the best meals we've eaten in the Boulder/Longmont area ever. And as residents of Boulder, we eat out frequently. The calamari appetizer was cooked to perfection. The entrees were excellent, as were the martinis. I can't recommend this establishment highly enough - it's worth a drive, if needed. Plus, the management is top notch. A sweet elderly couple, who had some mobility issues and difficultly walking, finished their meal and the staff held their hands and walked them down the street. It was a beautiful gesture of human kindness. A+ establishment on all fronts!

Well, it's more like 3 1/2 stars, definitively not 4 after my last dinner. I had not visited Martini's Bistro for a while, but I remembered the nice patio and decided to go back with a group of friends. The patio is still very pleasant and the place is great if you want a martini. A few of us ordered martinis and we were all happy with your selections. I had the "Go Deep!" and I loved it, no too sweet, not too sour, the perfect balance for me. My friend's "Shark Bite" came with a beautiful blue color thanks to the Curaçao and she loved it. The food was really hit or miss. The bacon wrapped scallops were perfectly caramelized and very tender (pompeiii on the menu), but the calamari was totally bland (Sponge Bob on the menu) and my friend had to use a lot of lemon juice to add some flavor. Another friend loved the Acadian, cajun Seared Scallops served with Poblano polenta and a corn-Black Bean Relish. Desserts were also very uneven. The crème brûlee quite bland, the Key lime pie in serious need of lime flavor, while the mousse and the coconut/almond cake were delicious. Our waitress was very nice but something was wrong in the kitchen. On a Tuesday evening, the place was far from busy, but we had to wait more than an hour to get our dishes.

OK - I think this is by far the best restaurant in Longmont that I've been to. My ladies group had a lovely dinner night out there this evening (7-25-15) and what a wonderful experience. From the lovely ambiance, to our waiter (Anthony) to the amazing food. I had the Alaskan Caper Salmon and I'll be thinking about it for days. They have a pastry chef who makes the desserts and they are to die for. There were eleven of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience and were talking at the table that we have to go back in the future.

Martini's hosted our wedding reception this summer, on a Saturday afternoon, and it worked out just perfectly! The staff, especially Daniel, their event coordinator, were delightful and so easy to work with (especially important as I was planning this from New York). We had about 50 people and unfortunately didn't get to enjoy their beautiful patio much due to the heat that day, but the dining room right off of it, the bar area and the entry room was reserved for us. We had plenty of space. The reception started with cocktails (everyone loved the diversity of their drink menu) and hors' doeuvres pass around by the wait staff. Then we had a buffet with a special menu worked out by the chef for us (which unfortunately as the bride, I barely tasted, but was told by others it was very good!). Daniel coordinated directly with my florist and baker for deliveries so all was ready when we arrived. I would highly recommend hosting an event there, and next time we're in the area, I hope to return there for dinner.

second time here two weeks ago - lovely ambiance -their outdoor seating is next to an older home with very pretty stained glass- and they have a garden, fountain, etc- plus it's in a neighborhood behind the main street so it's quiet and private feeling. Drinks were pricey but good- I had wine and my friend had a specialty martini- cucumber and lime- . We shared app of fried wontons with salmon, very good. $40 later we were out the door, which was the only drawback to our quick drinks here. Longmont prices are creeping up towards Boulder prices it seems. Well, at least there's a place in town for a good cocktail with outdoor seating. We will be back and grateful.

We were there for a wedding reception. The food and drink -- incl fab martini menu -- was generous, delicious, and beautifully presented. Loads of helpful waitstaff. Gorgonzola stuffed strawberries with toasted almonds and just a little honey -- yum, yum, I'm going to make these at home. They do a lot of events, and it shows! They even let the wedding party, consisting of many musicians, control the sound system.

Came here for dinner and sat on the patio which was awesome. If you haven't been here and it's warm enough out to sit outside, do it. We had a caprese appetizer that was delicious. My wife had the bubbles and berry salad which she really enjoyed. I had the special that included pasta, shrimp, sausage, peppers. The dish was tasty with a variety of flavors. Our server was great, despite it being pretty busy. When he was tied up, other servers and staff stepped in to deliver dishes, pick up plates, check on our drinks, etc. This is a great place to eat anytime of the year, but when the weather is warm and you can hang out on the patio and have drinks and a great meal, it's tough to beat. Oh, and beware, the martini's will kick your **s!

Impromptu date night with my honey. We had both heard good things about Martini's and decided to dive in. We arrived at about 7:30p on a Friday night without reservations - no problem. We were seated right away on the patio. They have a very nice patio space - if you can, sit outside. Our server was very friendly and attentive. At one point, he got tied up with something so the manager came to check on us; also very friendly. First things first: he ordered a beer and I got the Sharkbite martini. I'm not usually a huge fan of martinis - which I told our server - and he suggested this one. It was really good! We started by sharing the mussels appetizer and a small salad (Berries & Bubbles, I think?). Both were fantastic. He ordered the Giada (pasta with various seafood items - crab, scallops and shrimp) and was very pleased. I got the Acadian (cajun scallops with polenta and a chilled black bean and corn relish), also delicious. Their serving sizes were pretty impressive; definitely a good amount of food. In fact, we decided to pass on the dessert plate...and some of those items looked divine because we were full. I think next time, we'll start with dessert...so we don't make the same mistake twice. We'll definitely be back. I really like this place.

Lovely patio atmosphere, WONDERFUL steak salad. Jude was an excellent server and most attentive. One appetizer was not hot and they immediately brought us a totally new one. The General Manager then came out to ask how they could improve the dish. Most impressive.

I've enjoyed some kick-ass cocktails and fine meals at Martinis over the past few years, and the happy hour has always been a real bargain. But lately I've had qualms about taking friends there. Over summer we encountered a flippant - some would say rude - server, mediocre (at best) meals, and (seriously!?) a surcharge for extra cherries in my friend's cocktail. I hoped for a better experience just before Christmas, when I took friends out to celebrate a new job. Nice ambiance, slamming drinks... yes! A patronizing attitude from our server was truly off-key; my fish was overcooked to dryness (unforgivable in my book); neither of our friends enjoyed medium-rare steaks that were actually bleu. Obviously we should have sent everything back, but we had already waited far too long and no one had bothered to return to verify that our meals were satisfactory. My friends are timid types and I did not want them to feel embarrassed, so I let it go. I'm a realist and I know food well - I'm a trained chef with a Diplôme de Cuisine (Le Cordon Bleu, Paris). Even the best dining establishments have their cycles. Right now, it seems that Martinis is not firing on all cylinders in the kitchen or front of house. Diners won't subsidize poor attention to basics indefinitely - especially when the check is hefty by local standards. I hope my next visit is more enjoyable!

I love this place! Great drinks, awesome food, extremely attentive and friendly wait staff. It's my most favorite place to eat in Longmont. I can't wait for the patio to open back up! The patio is absolutely perfect when it's open. Very relaxing.

I happened upon this place trying to find somewhere new and unique for the boyfriend and I to try in Longmont. What a wonderful surprise! We've been twice in the last two months and both times have been fabulous. I can't wait to sit on the patio this summer and enjoy some Rain martinis! We've tried the appetizer of the night both times and they were great. He gets the Acadian and I get the Marco Polo. The prawns are perfect and whatever they do to the polenta on his is amazing!

So cute! What a sweet little spot to grab a drink or have a dinner. They have a great happy hour too! I went last night for that HH after my friend found them on Yelp. A nice little surprise was that when you check in on Yelp you get a free martini. We sat outside on an adorable little patio until the hail came and the staff helped us move inside. Everyone working there was exceptionally sweet, prompt, and worked hard to actually connect with their patrons. We tried the lamb meatballs which were delish and the BBQ sliders. Both appetizers were good, well seasoned and interesting... not standard run of the mill. The menu definitely had thought put into it. As indicated by the name, Martini's has a long list of different types of martini's you can try and the menu even has recommended food pairings. I would absolutely go back or recommend this place to someone else. I wish I caught our server's name, she was a complete sweetheart (she had red curly hair).

My boyfriend and I went to Martini's a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. I'd been a couple of times in the past and had a nice time so I thought it would be a good choice. We asked to sit at a table in the bar. The food was good, nothing special and not as good as I remembered. Our waitress rushed us through every part of our meal and made us both feel incredibly uncomfortable even though we were the only table seated in her section. It was such a disappointment for what we hoped would be a nice night out--and so expensive for the experience we had.

My wife and I found this place with high reviews, but we were not impressed! We had a reservation and it took three people to find it in the computer! Finally seated our waitress seemed uninterested! Our drinks came out and the waitress poured them wrong, instead of taking blame she bad mouthed the substitute bartender! Finally drinks come out and a drink that is supposed to come with olives we later find out we were charged for olives! This from a place called "martinis"?? Onto the food we ordered the Pompeii it was a little bland and seemed to be missing something! Definently ways to make it better! The side salad, no complaints it was a perfect blend! The entrees I had the mama Mia which seemed to have frozen pasta but was not bad, this dish as well could use some modifications. My wife had the Alaskan caper it as well was decent but the pasta seemed to be frozen and not fresh as one would imagine. Other than that this place seemed a little stingy with the bread! And my drink went dry a few times throughout my meal! On closing it wouldn't hurt to clean the dead bugs out of the light fixtures! A little disturbing to look up while eating and see all the dead bugs that could potentially fall into your food!

I gave Martini's a 5-star rating years ago, and have been a loyal patron until late last year. I took a visiting colleague to Martinis last week with HOPES of change. The place has gone downhill in food quality, staff quality, and atmosphere the past year since the unfortunate passing of Frank. I hope these reviews are motivation to bring back the once-amazing atmosphere, quality, and un-rushed atmosphere.

We really enjoyed it! First time there as new Longmont residents, we went for my birthday...sat on the patio (which I think is lovely!) It was late (for Colorado I guess; I'm used to eating late but at 8:30 it was pretty quiet; looks very happenin' during the day!) The cocktails sound amazing but I stuck with a traditional martini to be apropos...we started with scallops, had more scallops (with chili sauce and a polenta to die for!), crab legs and more. I didn't think the strawberry creme brule had much flavor but that's me and I was already full. Overall I would reco and will be going back; nice atmosphere...

This place is great. I brought a party of 17 in (with reservations), but I thought we were going to have more. The manager/owner went to the ends of the earth accommodating us, moving tables around in different configurations. It was incredible. They were so sweet! The wine and appetizers were delicious, and I heard the martinis were good too. The service was stellar. They did separate checks for my entire party no problem. This place is terrific and the food is wonderful! !

This is one of the first places my boyfriend ever took me, so naturally when we went back the second time we were expecting the same service as before. We were extremely disappointed. Since I am a vegetarian, I ordered what I thought was a vegetarian pasta dish and specifically said 'no meat'. When it arrived, I was dismayed at seeing bacon in it. I asked our waiter if it was indeed bacon and he said yes. I asked him why because I had said no meat, and he told me, "no meat to me means no chicken or prawns" in an extremely snappy voice. Sorry I missed the whole bacon suddenly becoming a vegetable thing, but I simply couldn't eat that pasta dish. He stormed off to get a menu, came back, opened it close to my face, and read off the dishes word by word like I was a damn 5 year old child. I cut him off and told him I would just get what my boyfriend was having, no meat of any kind. He again stormed off, but I could see him talking to who I assumed was the manager, all the while throwing his hands around obviously having a tantrum. He came back a few minutes later, and sneered "the chef is preparing a mix of the two dishes special for you" like I was some spoiled brat. The manager brought it out to me himself, and was very kind about it. The dish was great and i was extremely grateful for them going to that trouble for me. Neither my boyfriend nor I had our drinks refilled the entire time, and we were not offered dessert. I have never been so humiliated or talked down to at a restaurant like that, and my boyfriend was embarrassed. I hate to cause any kind of trouble because I know how hard of a job being a waiter is, but I didn't deserve that kind of disrepect. Also, the light fixtures had dead bugs in them. My boyfriend has been going there since before the owner died, and the quality of the menu, food, and service has completely gone downhill. Its sad that one of the first places I went with the man I've now come to love with all my heart is now a ruined memory for us. So avoid the older gentlemen with the gray hair at all costs, lest you wish to get terrible service and treated like dirt. This is a place we wanted to be regulars at, and now we will never come back here.

Lovely. Patio is fantastic. Happy Hour, thumbs up. Dinner and dessert relish. One star off for waitstaff being pushy about ordering dinner. We ordered our happy hour drinks, making sure to inform them of the YELP free martini with check-in first. Guess that was a mistake bc they seemed to decide we were cheap and the pressure began. Even after we ordered an appetizer-not on the HH menu. Then a second round of cocktails-by the way, takes forever to get your drinks here, not sure if that is the waitstaff or the bartender. We were even pressured to buy drinks not on the HH menu. Really? Second order of appetizers showed up-finally. My cocktail order was fine, but my side of fizzy water didn't, after asking twice. Only when we had decided to order entrees did the waiter become friendly. Our wine orders showed up most of the way through dinner. Maybe a second star should come off...hmm. The food and martinis are really good, coffee not so much. Menu could do with some peaches this time of year but it is really nice to not be faced with kale and beets, kale and beets, kale and beets.

I was visiting friends in Longmond last month and they took me here for the monthly pairing dinner. It was fantastic! We sampled local bourbon and whiskey, paired with amazing dishes. The duck was to die for. Also had a few dirty kettle one martinis! Garnished with cheese stuffed olives, which was awesome. This was one of my favorite places to go, its too bad I live all the way in California!

My first visit here since Martini's former incarnation as ChriSar's. Perfect place to go for an early evening New Year's Eve appetizer. Excellent food, superb service, and dazzlingly gorgeous ambiance. Reminder to self: Must return to Martini's for an actual meal. Good place to go at the end of 2013.

Booked a reservation via Open Table to meet friends at Martini's for dinner. This is the first time I've been to Martini's so I was excited about checking it out. When we go there they didn't have my reservation and then told me I should call if I booked via Open Table. Duh - kind of defeats the purpose. After that bit of attitude they graced me with a table. After 15 minutes I texted friends to find out where they were. They got there a few minutes early and were actually seated in the other room, under my reservation. They were too lazy to just look a couple of lines up in the reservation book to see that they scratched out my name. OK, I'm still on board after strike 1. Then came strike 2 - they didn't offer a drink or appetizer to make amends for their screw up. Then came strike 3 - the Grey Goose martini at Martini's wasn't that great. Really? Strike 4 was the meal itself. It was just okay. Salmon was a little dried out. I really wanted to like this place but not sure I'll give it another try after this go around.

We've been to Martini's a number of times and generally go before 5pm on Saturdays (just after opening). We've never made a reservation and have always been seated. This past weekend (9/28/13) the experience was different. Our group of 5 were greeted like we were an imposition. After the host went to check if we could be seated, we were treated like we were fortunate for being allowed to dine there. Not the best way to treat repeat customers. We were there til about 6:30pm and the restaurant was not full. Our bill totaled $175. I'll think twice about spending my money there. That being said...the food is very good and the martini's are delicious. I hope they train their greeter/host in proper service etiquette. Our waiter was prompt, funny and an overall delight.

Let me start this off by saying I LOVE food. I am also a very adventurous eater, and enjoy menus that are unique. Never in my life have I come across a menu where I would stuff my face with literally every item on the menu.. until walking into Martini's Bistro, that is. This is a charming restaurant with a large outside patio to sit in and beautiful inside dining to match. The bar is tinyyyy (I think it maybe fit 4-5 people), so you definitely want to come here for a sit down and eat (you should be doing that anyway). The menu was expansive and so creative. It took our party of three at least 30 minutes to decide what we each wanted. I glanced at the wine selection, which was very decently priced, and ordered a tasty malbec. In the end we chose the following: cluck n claws for me (chicken stuffed with blue claw crabmeat, fontina cheese, and spinach), the twist (amazingly fresh pasta with fresh veggies), and the giada (linguini with fresh seafood in a tomato wine sauce). The twist beat out everyone, hands down. So tasty and refreshing. My cluck n claw was a close second. Delicously breaded with panko and this cheesy crab mixture was so tasty. The giada left a bit to be desired.. our waiter highly recommended this dish, but it fell flat for all three of us. Just seemed like something was missing. Our waiter was nice, but just a tad bit pushy. It seemed like he was just arbitrarily suggesting things, but I could be wrong. He may have been in a rush with us as they were busy, and he was in the middle of training a new person. All in all I LOVED this restaurant. I want to come back every time I visit from FL so I can attempt to taste the whole menu (hey, don't judge me).

Making the reservation, the host was rude. During the meal, the shrimp/bacon appetizer was very good but small portions. The chicken on the Hail Caesar was overcooked. The rest of the entrees have good portions. The Matador was amazing. The dessert was delicious. Our waiter (Shannon) was great.

Fourteeen family members went to Mother's Day brunch on Sunday, our ages ranged from 22 - 87 ... with a lot of 50-plusers in the group. We had a great time! The service was excellent, prime rib was amazing, and the cheese blintzes divine. Buffets are always a bit tough, but the cast and crew at Martini's Bistro did a great job. I only gave 4 stars because some of the dishes could have been hotter; as for flavor, freshness, service, and selection they are a 5 in my book. We will be back.

Went for lunch with a colleague. Food: good -- had a lunch special...open faced warm turkey, cheese and tomato sandwich on sourdough over smashed potatoes. Very good but rich. My colleague had the mac and cheese - also very good but rich. Service: friendly server; general service was slow. Over an hour for lunch which makes it tough to get back to work. Ambiance: Very nice. I liked it - had character. I'd be interested in going back to try dinner and have a martini!

Something has changed since last summer. No idea what, but all of the warmth and charm the place had has just evaporated into a feeling of drudgery. Like the staff is just going through the motions. The food was okay but in no way justified the prices. The staff were okay but lacked any kind of luster or spark. The menu was nowhere near the fun it used to be. It's like someone got worried that "fun" and "successful" and "upscale" couldn't go hand in hand any more. Too bad.

The food is excellent, some of the best food I've ever eaten. The service is spotty to adequate but the place is way to noisy. I'll go there as often as I can for the food and over look the few shortcomings.

Martini's is very popular. You cannot give a poor review due to their popularity. Plan ahead and make reservations! I enjoyed this place tremendously. The food was amazing. For a starter we had the habanero grilled shrimp, amazing. For dinner I had the rib eye and my wife the sirloin special. I was sad to admit her sirloin was a bit better than mine. We both tried two different martinis that were great. I think we will stick with one each next time as we are not very big drinkers. Loved the atmosphere and that the owners took the time to stop by our table and chat. Can't wait to go back.

I was so excited to bring my parents to Martinis last night. I was there last July and the ambiance was so amazing. Christopher and Frank were so much fun. Come to find out that Frank had passed away and Christopher was fired? Why would they EVER fire the heart and soul of this restaurant! The food wasn't even as good and the place is just sad. They made a big mistake. I won't be back...just not the same!

Quite possibly one of the beat places to eat in Longmont... Probably even Northern Colorado. We have been here countless times and every experience is more than amazing!!! A great staff coupled with a phenomenal menu and martini selection. Yet it doesn't stop there as their awesome chef and head bartender come up with an amazing selection of food paired with a martini of the day that rotates enough to keep you coming back for more.

We enjoyed our evening with attentive service and lovely surroundings. We ordered a shrimp and scallop dish which was delicious but very stingy...1 shrimp and 3 average size scallops. Please... This is dinner, not an appetizer. Our son had the salmon which was a normal portion. My mother had a pasta dish which was rich and generous. All was prepared well. The appetizer of the night was a bagel crisp which was not crisp, but the toppings were yummy. Our table was located at the junction of the bar and main dining room. Quite a noisy and busy spot to be. The tables were too small for 4. Would NOT recommend for young children. The wine special was Renwood Zinfadel. Not a fav of mine. That same area has many fine wineries...try Young 's or Sobon . We will return...just not order the Arcadian if hungry.

We live in Longmont and moved here years ago from the Bay Area (plethora of food options). Martinis is one of our go to restaurants in Longmont. Very good comfort food that is creative, good cocktails, and a friendly fun staff. It is cozy in the winter and has a wonderful patio dining experience in the summer. They have a crusted mahi mahi fish that is wonderful and also some great salads. The specials are delicious too. We have taken out of town guests there and they all commented on how enjoyable it was. Check it out. You'll enjoy it.

The good: Our host was very friendly and gave us an outside table which we requested via OpenTable. Our waiter was nice and had a good sense of humor. The outdoor seating was really enjoyable along with the Martinis that we ordered. The bad: We were a table of two and our bill was around $125 for 2 appetizers, a couple drinks, entrees, and one shared dessert. I don't have a problem at all with the price if the food actually lived up to the price. Our appetizer was calamari. This was a very disappointing dish. They were way over cooked (fried way too long) and the breading had zero flavor. If it wasn't for the sauce that came with them they would have tasted like rubber cardboard. These were reminiscent of something you would order at a sports bar for $3.95. My meal, the Giada, was ok. Very greasy and not really that flavorful. The seafood was cooked well but it was drowing in sauce. My girlfriends dish was the Acadian. Her scallops were cooked well but the huge block of polenta that they came with was a bit ridiculous. It was the size of a block of tofu and was not appealing to the eye or tongue. Way too much polenta and way too few scallops. We were pretty underwelmed at this point but decided to share a dessert. Luckily this was the best part of the meal. I can't remember the exact name but I believe it was some kind of vanilla cake. Very tasty and a great finish to the meal. I love the outdoor seating and the drinks but the food definitely didn't live up to the price. I'd choose Tortugas or Sugarbeet if we were looking for a good dinner in Longmont again. Too bad because we don't have a ton of great places to choose from.

This is one of the few places to eat that really stands out in Longmont. There is very little in the Longmont area as good to eat and drink as Martini's. Martini's food compares well with some good places to eat in Boulder and Denver. The drinks are really a shining spot, but can really increase your bill in a hurry. The menu is solid top to bottom. These will be the best drinks you get in COlorado. Some of the appetizers are amazing, with my personal favorite being the bacon wrapped scallops (Pompi) Main corsers are always made from scratch, and often have a unique twist on a common dish. Desserts are actually well thought out as well and I have considered going to Martini's just to get some of the best cheesecake and desserts in town. The atmosphere is great, the bar is small, which is an issue when I want to eat alone. The deck is amazing and when open and you should really make it a point to eat on it at some point if you're in Longmont. The building itself is a Victorian home, and is just lovely to have dinner in. At the end of the day, the food and location always drive my rating. This is the best place to grab a drink and have dinner in Longmont, and honestly holds it's own with some of my favorite places in Denver. You need to give it a try, and have a martini with dinner! Enjoy!

Fantastic food and service. Worth the price. Only drawback is the noise due to the small space.

We've been here a few times now, so I am ready to post my thoughts. The first time, we got the table right outside the patio door - not the nicest place to sit and we felt like we weren't treated quite as well (maybe because we were younger?)...the food was good though, the bacon wrapped scallops we had were fantastic! The other times, we've gone with the in-laws and sat indoors. Much nicer service and still great food. The portions are large, but still edible in one sitting. It's a nice place for Longmont and worth eating at for a more upscale meal.

Not the best place if you have small kids but because we do they gave us our own little private section of the restaurant. It wasn't meant as a bad thing, it was quite nice. We wanted to start with salads and sandwiches for our first visit. We had the "On Top of It" salad and the "Intentionally Flat" sandwich. It was very fresh and you could tell it was excellent quality. On the salad the Gorgonzola and balsamic worked very well together. We will definitely be going back to try the entrees and desserts. We had a very nice first experience.

We had not been to Martini's in at least three years. Living in Boulder, we get spoiled and don't drive much. In any event, Saturday evening we finished purchasing a new car, were emotionally drained, tired and hungry. Called got reservations and went. We will be back, especially in summer when the patio will be open. My steak was great, Wedge Salad outstanding. My wife's Onion Soup very good and her Fish (Mahi?) she said was great. We were just too tired to stay longer. Next time! Great fun place,.

Can I just say WOW! I'm from the East Coast and was delighted to find big New York flavor in the small town of Longmont. Every bite left my partner and I drooling with pleasure. The atmosphere, outdoor seating, French doors, and Victorian home with private rooms for dining make this the ultimate date location. Gentleman, if you want to impress a lady this is where you should bring her! Martini's lives up to its name because the drinks were equally notable and served in a shaker that seemed to fill itself up. I was able to fill my glass three times! We were there for my birthday and between the friendly staff and exceptional food I can tell this is going to be a good year!

Another place we've been visiting since it first opened as ChriSar's almost 20 years ago. This restaurant has always been homey with excellent service and food. We always love to sit out on their enclosed deck or on the patio. I've always loved the Citrus Chicken (pasta in a lemon garlic sauce with grilled chicken on top). The Sea of Hearts is delicious, too. Favorite thing on the menu, hands down: ALMOND JOY TORTE. Homemade and soooo much better than the candy bar. Even if you're too full to enjoy it for dessert, get one to go and thank me later. :-)

Really a 3.5 stars, but gets rounded up to 4 due to being a Longmont establishment (versus being in a city with a more bustling restaurant scene). The reason I go to Martini's on a semi-regular basis is because of the mixed drinks. The have a large cocktail menu with drinks ranging from your standard dirty martini ("Dirty Old Man" - yes they should probably be rounded back down to 3 stars for naming a drink that) to all kinds of fabulous fruity concoctions. They are all served in a martini glass and accompanied by the shaker which still has another drink's worth within! So even though the drinks seem pricey at first for around 8 bucks, you are actually getting a two-fer. Good deal. The food is all decent. I tend to have higher expectations and just don't think they demonstrate a real passion for food. But it seems pretty reliable and affordable. I usually get one of the sandwiches which run the same price as my drink! We've had some very tasty desserts. The atmosphere inside is really lacking, which is unfortunate because the house is a lovely old Victorian. The inside has been sapped of all character. But step outside onto the patio, my preferred seating area. It is a great place to go on a temperate evening.

We really enjoyed Martini's. We went on a Wednesday for lunch and we did not have any trouble getting seated. This place is in the heart of Longmont and has so much character. It's a Victorian home with a lot of charm. The staff and food were both great. This is a great place for an upscale meal and a drink in a city with many breweries and casual environments. I would visit this place again and again.

This place was GREAT. The owners greeted us at the door, the wait staff was excellent. the food was amazing. If you are in Longmont and I know you are if you are reading this then you should be clicking on the map and selecting 'Direction to here'. Do that now. you will like it.

My family and I are extremely disappointed with Martini's. We had arranged a large party for out of town family members far in advance. When we arrived for our party, they would not provide us the space promised. Not only did they fail to provide what they had promised, the staff was also rude to all of our guests. When we tried to solicit an apology, we received no response. We spent a large amount of money at this establishment, the least they could have provided is a sincere apology. Their martinis are certainly good, the food mediocre, and the service abhorrent.

This was a great place to celebrate Mom on Mother's Day! Beautiful weather enhanced our experience on the big, pleasant outdoor patio. The menu is original and the food is super delish! Ryan is a great server! It was tacky that the family/staff 'camp out' at a table (the one right next to ours), even lighting up a cigarette while we were still present (bleh!). A few kinks...but overall, a good choice.

I wanted to love this place. I'd heard good things from a neighbor who frequents it, and am a huge fan of independently-owned businesses in Longmont. Three weekends ago, we finally had an opportunity to check it out with some good friends. The night we'd chosen to visit coincided with a "white" party. Having arrived without a reservation, we registered with the host and were whisked away upstairs to a private apartment that is both used for short-term rental and as a "spillover area" for waiting guests. Curious and interesting. We enjoyed a beverage around the kitchen island and good conversation with our server/bartender. Once seated, we ordered a bruschetta served in a glass alongside garlic-rubbed crostini - fine enough. For our entree, the "nutty chick" - a macadamia-encrusted chicken breast served alongside seasonal vegetables - was flavorful. I did not enjoy anything from the martini menu, but my wife and friend did love their drinks. Dessert consisted of a large slice of cheesecake - solid if not particularly memorable. Our experience began to change just afterwards - we were asked by the manager if we wanted to stay for the party, and then asked if we wanted shots. Not understanding what this meant, we agreed and became witnesses to a lively event filled with disco lights, music, and dancing. I thought a twister had whisked us out of Longmont. It was interesting, but not a particular draw for us. The party didn't last long, and we'd decided to hit the road. After a long delay, we received the check, which was entirely wrong. Entrees for the adjacent table (folks whom the server admitted were "comped") were added to our bill, and we were charged a $10 cover charge each for the white party. (With all respect to the manager and their vision, we would not have stayed if we were aware of the charge.) Other errors included mis-entered entrees. It seems as though the managers made honest (if not drunken) mistakes; they were eventually corrected, and the cover charges were removed. Having had items added for a table which was "comped" did in fact leave me feeling uneasy. The process took quite some time while we waited. The management left me with a uncomfortable vibe - both with the response of us not having a reservation and for cleaning up the check. It did not leave me wanting to return. Again - I want to love this place. It's hard to at the moment.

Love this place! The restaurant is in one of Longmont's lovely old Victorian homes so it feels nice and cozy. The outdoor patio is a must during the summer. Every dish I've had there is better than the one before but the best is Mamma Mia...so delicious. Who doesn't like bacon in a creamy pasta sauce!? As the name suggests, there are martini's...great martinis. My wife and I are slowly working our way through the entire martini menu. So far the favorite is the espresso flavored Jittertini.

I can really dig a place that turns an old house into a restaurant, and one that can actually work well in fact. I met some folks here for a meeting and we had 12 people there I think. I was wondering how they were gong to accommodate all of us. Being that I had never been here before, I didn't realize that there were separate rooms and an amazing patio!! With all the rooms being separate, it's like the place is all to yourself and you can bletch and cuss all you want, well actually you still shouldn't do that. Tisk tisk. Rated best patio in Boulder County, which is proper cause it could be true, although I haven't been to all of them so I can't say for sure. Either way, check it out before it gets too cold. Now for the real reason you came here, to stuff your face. Since this was a business meeting, we didn't get entrees, we just did apps and dranks (which is way better then just drinks). We tried all the starters and they were all, at worst, really good. The best was the Like An Egyptian. Basically a mini pizza, but way better because it's mini and you get that concentrated goodness. Also, try the Where Are You Spongbob not just because the name is awesome, but because calimari is sooooooooooo good! I did have to try some Martini's, because, well, it's the name of the joint right?!?! I dabbled with a Down Easy mainly because of the delicious mango. Then it was on to a Frankly, My Dear which it a peach concoction again, because I love em da peaches. Point being..........grab some fancy mates (friends, buddy's, wife, husband, and or lover) and head over to the Bistro. Dress casual, but nice. The ambiance is mellow and classy. Avoid sports attire....actually it would be best if you avoided sports attire altogether. Bottoms up!

The Martini's were really good. I tried two different ones, a special of the night, which I got two glasses out of the sifter, and a Belvedere, which I got 1.5 glasses form the sifter. The food was all delicious, except for my Rib Eye which I thought was very fatty and not very thick cut. The desert was very good and the service was excellent. We will return. I knocked a start off because of the fatty steak.

Martini's is a great place to meet with friends. The past 3 times we were there it was in a larger party (between 15 to 25). The owners Frank & Christopher are charming, and I have not had ánything on the menu that I would not order again. If you're going the first time they offer a free appetizer if you text them, which they gave us with no problems. The Martini 's are good, a great assortment to try, but if your a lightweight drinker beware- they pack a kick! All in all I would recommend this as a great place to eat, drink and be merry.

Great atmosphere and fun outdoor area. Martinis are great and the food is fine...not fantastic though. My first visit we had terrible service. Food and martinis came out at different times and one martini didn't come until late into the meal. I chalked it down to the waiter being new. Our second visit - service was great until we asked for a box to take home food. When we didn't receive one for 15 minutes I flagged down the manager/owner and asked. I couldn't believe the dirty look he gave me! He acted like I had offended HIM but he really was offensive to us. I don't understand how the rest of the staff can be so fun and responsive while working for him. We'll probably go back but don't let the manager/owner near our table!

Went on Saturday for dinner. Frank's ex-wife who after his death is now in control, made a horrible scene telling Frank's new spouse to get out of their apartment upstairs and not ever to enter Martini's again. Too much drama. Don't go.

Great local place. The atmosphere is fun - in a converted historic home with a great outdoor patio full of flowers in the summer. The food is pretty inventive and tasty. It can be a bit pricey, but the portions are good sized. Of course they have lots of different martinis and the beer and wine selection is good too. While lots of people view this as a "fancy" place, the atmosphere is still pretty casual and family friendly. We usually go for dinner and think that's the best option. They have brunch, but it's pretty standard breakfast fare and not the best they have to offer.

If your priority is excellent food, 5 stars! If you take into account the overcrowded and obnoxiously loud atmosphere (3 stars) & limited bar menu (they made the best of what they had: 3-1/2 stars). We are food-sharers and everyone's food was beautifully presented and perfectly prepared.

Had I been here more than once and had the exact same experience, this would definitely be a five star review. Here's the rundown. Atmosphere, is fantastic. Really great outdoor patio area, the building itself is a Victorian, locally owned house in downtown Longmont. I could see that Martinin's could be a fantastically romantic spot. Great tables, very comfy chairs and I love how there are different rooms and that we were asked which one we might like to sit in. Service: Absolutely fantastic. Our server made sure we were well taken care of. The two people helping our table of four were quick to help answer questions, recommend drinks and pair wines with our dinner. Drinks: I opted for wine with dinner which I selected from a lengthy and well balanced list. Following the meal I had the "Dirty Old Man," a masterfully prepared dirty martini. Food: Excellent. I had a fillet that was one of the best cuts of meat I'd had in a long time. Fantastic menu, fantastic service and an overall a really special night out.

I'm always afraid of places that cover everything in garlic, and this place might be the worst I've experienced in that regard. Over cooked, over sauced, over garlic'ed--just bad. I ordered the steak and it was COVERED in bleu cheese and balsamic. The mashed pots were dry and again, over garlic'ed. The service was poor at best, highlighted by a waiter yelling at a guest. Avoid this place at all costs.

Disappointed with the service. Was told out baby was "bothersome" and to take him to the bathroom or outside by an older waitress. When we complained to our waiter, he appropriately responded and gave our drinks for free and let us leave. It sucks how one poor waitress can taint an experience. I did appreciate their response se however, but I don't think this is a place for babies, even at lunch o. A Wednesday.

Best Outdoor Patio In Boulder County I've been here about half a dozen times and never had a bad experience. Atmosphere- Wonderful, expansive outdoor patio shaded by oak trees. Located in a Victorian house in downtown Longmont. Quiet, romantic, perfect place to take a date. Service- Impeccable. Always friendly. Never had a complaint. Food-Very good, fairly priced. They have a great "recession special" going right now from 4:30-6:30. A four course meal including salad, entree, desert and coffee or soda for 12.95. Quite the deal.

I love this place! Food is amazing. Frank and Christopher are excellent hosts. The patio is perfect for a summer evening of fine dinning. Bacon wrapped scallops are to die for. If you are anywhere near Longmont and even if you're not, you don't want to miss this culinary delight.

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago, for lunch with a new friend. We had been given a coupon for a free martini and 15% off the bill to get us in there, and I am SO glad we went! We each had one martini (which translates to more than 2, because they give you the shaker! Yay!) and ordered the shrimp and scallops over orzo. It was DELICIOUS. The waitress was great, funny and happy to recommend things. We sat on the gorgeous patio. The atmosphere was really great. I'm going back TONIGHT for a date with my hubby!

I just went there today, with my mom for lunch, and I will admit I was a bit tentative after reading so many bad reviews. But we gave it a shot and I am so glad! We were the first customers, there right as they opened for lunch at 11:30. Our waiter couldn't have been friendlier, and we were seated on the gorgeous patio. they touted the martini's, but we made do with ice tea - which was refilled for free - and started with the bacon-wrapped scallops. They were amazing! We had salads, and my mom's tilapia was perfectly cooked. I will admit that I would have like more crab and less patty in my crab patty, but the salad that accompanied it was great. The place really filled up, but our waiter never forgot about us, and we splurged on the Oh Joy!, and almond-coconut-chocolate slice of heaven. We were there for the entire lunch service, and left around 2 - we never felt rushed. I will definitely be back!

Hmmm.... I think that this is really a 3.5. The martinis are delish, the food is great. V-day this year was a little crazy. The waiting area gets PACKED on busy nights and servers, obvi, get a little frazzled. Our reservation was messed up (for 6!!!) so it was a little inconvenient, but things always seem to work out there. I have to question the home-made dessert comment - the servers (2 separate ones) have told me they only make one of the desserts in house. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good, the food is great. I think of this place as a real find... recognizing that every place can have an off night.
