Hit or miss, that's the best way to describe our multiple visits. One time service sucks and food is great, next food is bad, or worse last visit both were bad. I doubt we'll go back at this point. 5 visits and not 1 has been a home run, or even a triple.

I realize I'm stepping away from the rest of 'em by giving a five star review. BUT, I have no complaints. Yes, it's "bar" food - so know that and want that walking in. On a Friday afternoon, we enjoyed sharing the Hurricane nachos and firecracker tacos - both, were good. But, the drinks - were even better! Don't miss out on their delicious Bloody Mary or I stepped out of the norm and had a "Pirate's Passion" so so so good! Ask for it in a bucket! Lastly, I am not a big dessert eater typically, but, did try the sea salt caramel cheesecake - oh yummy deliciousness! It was SO good. Amber was a doll and we will defiantly be back again!

I don't give a lot of one star reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The one star is entirely for the awful food, not the service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and the hostesses were alright as well. They have a ton of sauces. I was pretty hopefully about finding a good wing place near my work, but other than the jerk sauce all of the sauces have a weird chemical flavor to them. The raspberry ice was a weird sweet soapy concoction, and the firecracker sauce ended up being different than the menu description. I was expecting a thai chili type of sauce, but ended up with a buttery sesame oil mixture. The coco loco was kind of odd as well. It also seems like they might not be using hot enough oil, as some of the wings were kind of oily and soggy. My husband also found a lot of wings that looked like they had been chopped with a cleaver leaving razor sharp bone halves. I thought the calamari was edible, but seeing another reviewer claim they were gross makes me think they might be really hit or miss. I'm really thinking they have an oil temperature issue, which is a problem when nearly their entire menu is fried...

So very disappointed! The beach décor and music welcomed us, but things got stormy really fast. Even being seated was weirdly awkward after waiting too long at the front. The prices were higher than we expected from this casual restaurant ($10.99 for just a plate of 6 chicken tenders, and I believe $8.99 for the Lunch Sliders & Salad). It took too long to place our order and way too long for the food to be delivered. It was not remotely worth the wait. Our server was pleasant and great about refilling our water, but she did not ask once how our food was. The tenders were not tender--they were tiny, dry, and lukewarm and the sauces were awful. My Raspberry Ice tasted completely artificial and plastic-y, with no hint of the promised horseradish. Son's Medium Classic Buffalo was extremely hot, and not good. Mr H. was presented 2 dried out tiny hamburgers on dry, stale buns. We were very hungry, especially after the long wait, and had finished half before we realized everyone was disgusted by their food. We couldn't understand how a cook could actually send that out--Mr H. suggested the cook sure wouldn't serve it to a buddy. We really intended to pass on our concerns and see about getting our meal discounted, but the server decided not to return for our check after she dropped it off, and we just didn't have any fight left in us, so we left enough cash to cover the bill and departed. We have family living close to this location, and not only will we never return, we suggested to our family that they find somewhere else for wings.

I generally only order 2 things here. Wings - These are good meaty wings, with Jerk Sauce or Cat 4 Hot Sauce Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - Fantastic. The complaints about sauces not being spicy are correct, with the exception of the Cat 4 and 5 Hot Wing Sauces. Those are legit. The bar is great, nice TV's with a bright and airy feel. Relative to other places in this area it's a great place for a couple beers (decent beer selection) and some wings.

My guy and I came here yesterday because we were craving wings. The decor of this place is adorable, but makes me sad that we live in Colorado, no where near a beach. This place is in fact, very beach inspired. Luckily since it was a Monday we got served quickly and had most of the restaurant to ourselves. The lunch prices were amazing, it was $5.99 for 5 jumbo wings + a side. Our server was very attentive and let us try out some sauces when we seemed overwhelmed. I am very glad she let us sample them because many flavors were not what we were expecting based on the menu descriptions. My date and I both ordered boneless, which were pretty small, maybe the "jumbo" wings are bone in. The side Cesar salad I had was an impressive size and very fresh. The level of spice on the menu was not very well descript, maybe this was because we went to Buffalo Wild Wings recently and are being a little too comparative but the hot wings here were barely hot at all. The medium were completely not spicy. We will probably come back for lunch sometime or check out the bar for happy hour, I will just make sure to order the spiciest thing they have next time.

The food here is not going to win any awards but its still good. Just remember it's a pub/grill/sports bar type place. The service is great, I can really tell the staff likes working there. This place can be a better option then Chillis, Red Robin or someplace like that.

My son chose to have his 6th Birthday dinner here. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The waitress was great, we actually had 6 different servers making sure we were good, the food was great as well. I had the fish tacos which were loaded with Mahi, my daughter got the fish and chips and the piece of fish was huge and very tasty, my wife got steak and wings she loved it, and my son got the sliders and loved them. We tried a few different sauces which all were good, great menu, and great service. Look forward to our next visit there. Great atmosphere!

Listen to the reviews and order the garlic parm fries. They're just fries with the garlic parm sauce drizzled on them, but damn if it isn't amazing. The wings are large and their signature flavors area good--the roasted garlic inferno is legitimately hot and flavorful. I've been here three times now and they've been hit and miss over how the wings are sauced. I've received super saucy wings and dry wings. There is little consistency but it's an easy enough fix.

Nothing special or even really original. Most of the items offer on the menu can be found better at the other national chains. Service was slow even though they were not very busy and the table was cover in a greasy residue. Daughters order was wrong and it took 10 minutes to find the server to correct. All in all probably we not be back. The only reason I gave the 2 stars was because they had Coke Zero.

I see why a place this packed receives only average reviews, read on. Came on a Sunday past noon, had to wait for a table for 5 minutes and it's not a small restaurant. There are people sitting out at the patio too. Our server is friendly and bright, got us a "free" order of Parmesan and Garlic Fries as a welcome for first time diners (I'll explain the quote marks later). We were so hungry that we agreed the fries were excellent. We ordered too much food for three people without knowing we were going to get fries: - BBQ pulled pork quesadilla ($9.49): it's delicious (didn't even need to use the accompanied salsa or sour cream) but the portion looked like it could be an appetizer. They literally just cut up a medium sized (judging from the tortilla) quesadilla into four and served. - Salmon with Thai style salsa ($12.49): comes with two sides, we picked homemade kettle chips and slaws, both were good. But the salmon was so so. Overcooked, small fillet, blandness disguised by spicy salsa. - 5-piece Parmesan and garlic wings ($5.99): again, that was before I knew we were going to receive Parmesan and garlic fries. The only sauce out of their 36 that's not sweet, sour, and spicy is this. For a Wings place, Hurricane really doesn't do a good job. The chosen sauce isn't coated, glazed, or smothered on the wings, but sort of "baked in". I probably don't even have to describe how bland the center of the wings are. And it seems they only have one style of wings: fried. If I visit again I'll not order wings anymore - I did half an order of wings (was going to get 10-piece but not another sauce sounded good) so I could get the Crabby corn chowder on the specials menu instead ($5.99) SO GLAD I did that! The soup is crabby, creamy, almost as good as Bonefish Grill's famous one! - Very full are we but still couldn't let Chocolate Cheesecake slip by, lol, and it was everything as I expected. We didn't end up getting charged for it but the server did ring up the Parmesan Fries for $5.99! With a free item and a $10 coupon and without drinks, we still ended up paying around $45 for three people for lunch. See, even though Hurricane Grill & Wings has some tasty grubs and that Florida vibe, they charge too much for the little food on the plates, at the end, it's just pub food! Maybe that's what they're used to down in Florida, but I think they should up their Midwest game if they wanna survive. Another similar joint is Wahoo's and I remember it being a lot more affordable. 3.5 stars!

Fun atmosphere for something different. My kids say if feels like we are in Florida. Atmosphere is a mix between a Joe's crab shack and Ron Jon's Surf shop, or close to a Wahoo's vibe. They were catering to kids with face painting station up front and a tiny game room off from the dining room. They pride themselves on their wings and all their sauces/ flavors. We tried ALL of them and I only found a couple that met my needs. My kids liked some of the other ones, so I think it comes down to personal preference and mood. They will bring you samples of all of them. Quality of food is average - nothing too exciting - standard bar food quality. They have an extensive beer menu if you are into beer and wings. They best part was our waiter, who had a great, upbeat attitude. He definitely played the part well.

Decor: nice, bright and colorful - very family friendly TVs (for sports broadcasting) - plenty - however small and propped high (hard on the neck), games have sound even in the restrooms, so you don't miss a second of any play. Service - great, had a server in training, but she was really friendly and checked on us appropriately. Food: eh, alright, the flavors for the wings are countless, but I rather less flavors that are better, than many that are ok. The wings are expensive, over $1 each, which is way too expensive, considering the size... they are NOT JUMBO. They are just slightly bigger than Wing Stop or BWW. Only veggies available were celery, bummer... I like to pretend to be health and have more options. Wings were a little dry, we had to ask for sauce on the side. Great atmosphere, just ok on food.

Two months ago I had a bad experience - they were out of calamari, drinks weren't refilled and there really wasn't great service. I did the phone survey after my visit and was honest about my feelings. I got a code for free garlic parm fries (which I lost) and forgot about it. Some time later, the manager called to talk about my review. They got me back to their restaurant and I'm glad they did. The calamari was back and delicious. The garlic Parmesan broccoli was fabulous! My husband and son enjoyed their hamburgers. Service was a little slow, but not terrible for being after 10:00. Our server was very nice. I'm so glad we came back and gave them another chance. We will be back!

The food was good. I had some crispy chicken wraps. Overpriced though. 2 stars because about halfway through the meal the manager came over and asked us if we would scoot back because 2 of the chairs went into the aisle too far. We didn't put the table where it was but okay fine. I go to lean down to get my purse and he shoves the table and it hits me in the clavicle area. I said, "Don't squash me yet I'm trying to move out of the way!" Received no response and I think he was totally oblivious he even did that. Thanks, guy. This totally rubbed me the wrong way and I don't think I would think to return here over going somewhere else next time.

I've went to this place three times. Once for dinner and twice for lunch, so I've given them a fair try. I like the atmosphere but the food is mediocre at best. Prices are fair but you're better off going to Buffalo Wild Wings. The food is just plain bland to me. I tried two different wing sauces on my wings (firecracker and dynamite) both were bland... My daughter's hamburger was also pretty gross... On a good note, it's not a bad place to have a few drinks;)

Great food! Great service! Cool atmosphere! Didn't get a chance to try any of the sauces but I had a chicken sandwich with Hot sauce it was pretty good not to spicy. Homemade chips were really good as well

We avoided this place for some time based on the reviews. My son and I were doing some Christmas shopping and needed some lunch, figured we'd give it a shot to see for ourselves. I'm so glad we did! We were seated and greeted by our waitress right away with a friendly smile. We decided to stick with wings since its in the name and all! I mentions Ive heard good and bad and wanted her opinion on what sauce to try. She was very helpful and actually said to pick out some we'd like to try and she's being a sample first! She recommend The Boss and firecracker (which were both my favorite) then we asked for standard buffalo sauce, too much vinegar taste for me, then the spicy bbq one which was also good but almost too sweet and sticky for me although my son enjoyed them. The wings were cooked perfectly, crispy and tasty (with the right sauce of course) the fries were also great. So I feel that's the trick, just ask for samples first so you're not disappointed later. Give it a shot! I know we'll be back.

Come here for jumbo wings, so much tastier and bigger than the ones at Buffalo Wild Wings. Sauces are good and spicy. GREAT FOOTBALL deals too! Free pitcher of beer with wing purchase made me come in quite a few times. Also free app with Broncos game ticket, what a great idea. Definitely looking forward to the next football season. This is my to go wing place. They triple check to-go orders too so I always end up with the right wings.

Greasy and generic "chain" restaurant food. Our first and last visit had us sitting at a cramped table near the bar. Our party of 4 shared a spicy shrimp something appetizer that had not been drained of grease and dripping was delivered before our drinks, napkins, and silverware. Fish tacos- 3 stars. Mahi Mahi- 2 stars. Wings- 3 stars. I did appreciate the ambiance. It is something new and different in Littleton/ Denver. However, I would have really liked to see an improved upon menu.

Was super excited for this new place when it opened up a year or so ago. The wait was always too long and when we finally got in at a decent time the food was ok, the place smelled like bathroom funk. Probably won't go back

This place is AMAZING!!! The entire staff was just nice as can be. They even had a kids face painting section set up by the front. The GM personally stopped by our table just to make sure everything was ok. Kuddos to you and your staff Mike. Anyone with any doubts def need to give this place a try!

Really nice waiter. Awful wings. Awful. Awful fries. Greasy. Gross. I regret this entire luncheon experience. Find somewhere else to eat. The only good thing about this meal is that my leather steering wheel, after soaking up the leftover grease from the wings, is now preserved for a few years.

Love the ambience. Especially in the snow it's nice to get away. Menu is easy and clear. Drink menu is interesting fun and not confusing. The wings were fantastic. And the appetizers were great as well.

Stopped in here for a few apps and drinks before the movie (which If were reviewing would get 1 star... cough save your money do NOT see Let's be Cops cough) Anywho... I gave this place 4 out of 5 because the server I believe his name was Shane was an awesome bar tender. Very attentive and extremely friendly. The nachos we got were meh. but the spicy shrimp poppers (not sure if that's what they were called) Surprisingly good.

I went to this restaurant for the first time today with my boyfriend and his parents, and wow were we pleasantly surprised! Love the atmosphere and the very thorough and friendly staff. Our waiter asked if it was our first time and took the time to walk us through the menu and give us plenty of time to decide what we wanted. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, including myself. I am not a fish taco person by any means but the crispy grouper tacos were some of the best tacos I've had in a very long time. I would not hesitate to order that again. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is that the restaurant seemed understaffed for how busy it was and the table next to us had to ask another staff member to send them their/our waiter so they could order after waiting several minutes, we waited for him to come back to our table for drink refills and to give us the check. But he politely apologized and explained that they were very busy. He even ran out of the restaurant after us to give us the box we accidentally left sitting on the table. Can't wait to go back! We may have found our new favorite place!

Tried this place for lunch the other day. Wing flavor was good but the "jumbo" wings looked like normal size as everyone else's. Flavor was spot on though. Way better than bww in my opinion.

Brittany helped us with the menu as we were newbies, so we think she was an excellent waitperson. She coaxed the kitchen to make me a veggie Philly "steak" sandwich with chipolte sauce! I was really good. Margaret had pulled pork quesadillas and really recommend them The never ending Happy Hour is a real plus. We will be back.

We have been coming to hurricane wings since they opened. The food continues to be amazing and the service has drastically improved with time. You just have to be vocal if you need something. Most of them are I'm assuming new to waiting. Love having a great wing place so close

My wife and were in recently and really enjoyed the experience. We hadn't been there before and the server gave us excellent suggestions and helped make the whole experience very nice. The wings, shrimp, and sauces were great and reasonably priced. The service was great and the restaurant, including rest rooms was very clean. We will be back.

    (5)
  • Alisa M.

Honesty, it's a different change up. But some of their plates have three different food tastes to it. None of it goes well together. The wings are okay, depending on the day. It just seems to outdone for a night out.

    (3)
  • Alyssa R.

We go here all the time! The food is great, especially the wings, be sure to ask for them with a little extra sauce or else they may be a little too dry. The only thing that is lacking, is the service.

    (4)
  • Luke B.

I'm going to have to agree with many of the other reviews on yelp, this place is not worth a visit. I dined with a friend and after the 2 of us were seated at a dark, 6 person table, we both ordered 10 wings, boneless and bone in. Now the wings we not "horrible" as you might have read, but they were not very good. The flavors were "meh" and the boneless chicken tasted like the Kirkland brand frozen chicken tenders from Costco. (Bone in were good) The staff all seemed a bit lost and tended to group up in the dining areas to chat. Other than that they seemed attentive to the tables they had. I just think they were over staffed tonight. So if you're in the mood for some wings, make a smart decision and just go to b dubs or wing zone. On a side note... To the manager in the white collared shirt, you were awesome but your shirt was way too big and looked kinda silly. Hugs :)

Don't waste you money on bad food and service. Server was so slow! Ordered wings for an appetizer but got it after our meal. Server that it was no big deal. I got shrimp tacos. Coleslaw was so liquid it made the tortilla soggy. Shrimp were lightly breaded per the description. They were so breaded I could hardly taste the shrimp. Menu has too many items. Nothing is done fresh! Again don't waste your $.

Horrible service, food, and wait times. Asked for blue cheese from 2 different waiters and took a combined time of 15 minutes to get a little cup of blue cheese! Horrible horrible! Will never way here again or recommend this to anyone!

If you ever get a chance to try this restaurant... Don't. Food was was almost fair. Mahi tasted over fishy, beer is five bucks. Mahi tacos had bones in them; not just one bite either. Our server was great, although he had ADD, he brought good entertainment to the failed food. Plenty of a/c for those who have a strong internal fire.

My wife and I discovered this chain restaurant after a nearby movie. We were very disappointed as soon as we sat down at the bar. None of three bartenders smiled at all, and none of them said, "Hi, how are you doing? What can I get you?" We felt like we were dong them a favor by being there. We finally ordered a Dave's Pale Ale - which i thought that they offered on tap since they had a tap head for it. However, as the sad bartender gal went over to the back bar for Dave's, she reached down into a cooler and grabbed a can. My wife had something else. So now we wanted a sampler of wings. They wouldn't let us order any fewer than five, and only in increments of five. We wanted to sample like four or so sauces. But the bartender told us that all five had to have the same sauce. So we didn't order any...at that moment. Instead, we ordered garlic Parmesan fries, fried calamari, and chips with salsa and guacamole. Hmmm. The salsa tasted like store-bought and the guacamole tasted like that frozen stuff in the plastic bag. When one of the preoccupied bartenders passed by, I waved her down and asked her a few questions about the food. Turns out, neither the salsa or guacamole or fried calamari were made at the restaurant. The fried calamari were just pedestrian frozen like the fries, the salsa was from a jar or can, and the guacamole the same. After expressing my disappointment, the bartender added, "We aren't a Mexican restaurant and you can't get fresh squid in Colorado." Soooo wrong about the squid!!!!! As a former restaurateur and veteran manager from a chain restaurant, I was totally disappointed. Shortly after starting on our disappointing appetizers, another bartender stopped by to ask how we were doing. Long story short, she told me that she could get me a sample of five wings prepared with whichever sauce combos that we wanted. And she made recommendations, too. Good save!! So we ordered five wings with four sauces. Two were very good, the other three fairly pedestrian. Not sure if we have a reason to go back. This is a franchise and they really don't offer anything terribly unique.

Good food, good service, and a great beer list! We had the wing sampler and we're quite pleased. We will be back! Try the Coco Loco, maple black pepper, and the boss sauce. Good atmosphere and a good place to watch football.

The good: the employees and service. We sat at the bar and the employees were all personable and helpful. They are very good at their jobs! Also, pretty good selection of beers on tap. The bad: Everything else. The wings were okay...I mean they were meaty. However, the sauces were weird and slightly unappetizing. We tried samples of 8 sauces before ordering and ended up with wings smothered in the Firecracker sauce, Dynamite, The Boss, and Cyclone. None of them were super impressive and they all got pretty old after a while...like I'd had enough of that flavor after eating a wing or two. We had a side of the Thai Slaw - gross - and we upgraded the regular fries to sweet potato fries dipped in the maple pepper glaze (per the server's recommendation). Meh...again, not impressed...I've had much better. My friend considers himself quite the chicken wing aficionado and he prefers Buffalo Wild Wings (hands down) over Hurricane. He said that he will not be going back.

Friends who eat out all the time told us to go eat there. We did & we see why they fell in love with this place-great friendly crew, bright & nicely decorated. Looked warm & inviting. The family friendly menu with great variety had something for everyone's tastes & now that it is our favorite place, we plan on working our way through the menu. Great food, good portions, prices were right on the mark compared to other restaurants of this category of family friendly places. While we ate, we could see the great rapport of the many regulars that seem to frequent this place. And the mixed drinks were fabulous. I think it is a family run restaurant that easily puts the big chain restaurants to shame.

Came in on a Friday night and we were told the wait for a table was about 5-10 minutes which is not bad for a weekend night, even though I think we waited about 15-20 minutes, which is not a big deal. After we got sat our server came by and didn't really introduce himself but just asked for our drink order, and we ordered appetizers at the same time. We got fried pickles and the "world famous" garlic parmesan fries. Even though I know the fried pickles were just the pre breaded, frozen pickles they were still pretty delicious and hot out of the fryer. The fries on the other hand were not as "fresh" and even though the flavor of the seasoning was delicious, I was disappointed that the fries were old, yet we did not complain about them to our server. We waited a little longer than I would have liked for our entrees to come out after finishing our appetizers, and I only know this because my 3 year old was getting antsy and still hungry... Our entrees arrived and were correct, unlike part of our drink order, and even though my sons mac and cheese was Kraft brand, they tried to take it a little further by adding some extra shredded cheese on top which I thought was a nice touch! My husband got 10 bone in wings with 2 different sauces of choice out of 30+ sauce choices! He seemed to enjoy it! I got the 5 boneless wings from the appetizer menu with 1 sauce choice which our server helped me pick out, a side of broccoli, also recommended by our server, which was delicious, and a side of Thai slaw which I passed on to my husband, since I'm not really much of a cole slaw fan even though I thought I'd give it a try. Being new to eating wings because I was a vegetarian for 12 years, this is my second time having them, and I was not disappointed by the boneless wings here! Unlike, the chewy, over cooked ones I had the first time at BWW. Our server could tell we were slowing down on our meal and offered to bring us boxes and the check... no dessert?!? Probably would have passed anyway but I thought it was the norm for the server to at least offer dessert! When he dropped the check he said that they took care of the fries for us for our patience, I think they just knew that they had given us below average fries. But I appreciated the gesture! We paid our check and as we were leaving with our 3 take out boxes, 3 year old and his many things he comes with, another server showed up behind us with a bag for our boxes which was much needed! He said it's just protocol if you have more than 1 box. All in all, we were pretty happy with our experience here and will probably come back next time I am craving wings!

The place is actually vey good. If you ignore the fact it's staffed by high schoolers... Service is very friendly and fast. Wings are comparable to Buffalo Wild Wings. Full bar, unique beach atmosphere. Only downside is the knockoff booze..

My husband and I were hesitant to visit this place because of some of the bad reviews. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT read the bad reviews. This place is awesome. We waited 25 minutes for a table for 5 because we arrived during a busy weekend night, but it was worth it. The service was fast, the place was clean, had a great atmosphere and even better the food was awesome. We had the wing platter with 4 different kinds of sauces and the kids had wings with their own sauces. The wings were huge, not anything like the tiny bones you get at Buffalo Wild Wings. They were juicy and we even reheated the leftovers in the oven the next day and they were still juicy. I give this place 5 stars. You MUST try this place and stay away from the negative reviews.

The good: We thoroughly enjoyed the boneless wings and the myriad sauces that we sampled. Our waiter was young and attentive which is hard to find. The not so good: My wife and I ordered sliders. Mine were the crab cake and hers were the pork BBQ. With both of us being raised in NC, we know both good pork BBQ and seafood. The crab cakes were very bland. No breading or eggs to hold them together. Good crab cakes have a nice crisp outside that gives a small crunch when you bite into them. These were more of a crab paste. We've also come to realize that no pork compares to back home. But this pork was pretty bland. The verdict: We will be back only because of the wings and sauces. BW3's was getting old and since they got rid of their legs a few years ago, I pretty much avoided wing places. But Hurricane's wing/sauces have rekindled my faith in wing cuisine.

We were looking forward to this place finally opening. The atmosphere was good, different than most places around here. The service needs improvement. We were told there was a 35 minute wait, and then counted 12, that's right 12, open tables on our way to the bar, not to mention almost as many staff members running around as there were guests in the restaurant. The bartenders were efficient but the food runners were confused about where they were delivering food. The wings were good, the sauce was flavorful but not as spicy as I expected based on the descriptions provided. I get that starting a new restaurant is challenging so we will definitely give them another chance and see how much they can improve!

Was invited to a their soft opening event today and it was great! So nice to have something like this in the neighborhood. Good wings at a great price. Full review to come in a few weeks.

This was really good! The Mango Lemonade is killer! Never had that before and couldn't get enough! This place has varying levels of hot sauces and my son who loves hot food definitely had a hard time finishing his wings. The expressions on his face were ... PRICELESS!

The first thing our server said to us, "hey guys! Ever been here before?" We replied "no". Then he said, "eh, it's worth a shot." He then rambled on and on about the menu without making eye contact. Too much information too fast. The atmosphere was very cold and uninviting. White walls and floors. The food was okay. Nothing special. The fries tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for 10 years. Our server was obviously the manager because he was scolding other servers 5 feet away from our table. It was very disturbing, and quite frankly, unprofessional. He was rude to the servers and they all made a very big scene. He proceeded to go around to the empty tables checking the supply of salt, pepper, ketchup, sugar and what not. He made it very clear to everyone within 30 feet, that that server had not filled the pepper shaker all the way to the brim...there was 1/2 a centimeter of space. I am a server at a local restaurant so for me to see something like this occur, really turns me off. I understand that it's his job as a manger to make sure that the servers are doing their jobs. However, to make a scene in front of your customers is SO unprofessional. All of the servers were talking bad about one another. The bar only had about 10 people at it (on a Friday night at 8:30) and about 8 of those people were employees who had just got off work and were sitting there complaining about each other. I am giving this place a single star because the beer was cheap. Yay! I don't drink beer anyways. My boyfriend had 2 land sharks which were each $3.25....good price! I guess you can say, we will not be revisiting this place anytime soon.

Love love love! Garlic Parmesan fries are tasty as is the rest of the menu. I've had multiple different items from wings to burgers to salads here. And good service is always a plus! I also like that they have happy hour all the time. And it's not super expensive.

Not bad--the service was very good and I was impressed when the manager brought out a free appetizer after finding out it was our first visit. The atmosphere was cute and would be a fun place to bring kids. The Mahi fish tacos were decent. We tried the wings and they were just average. The menu was a little overwhelming, they need to cut back on a few items. Overall, we were pleased with our experience considering the relatively low price point.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible. The waiter took 23 minutes just to recognize we were there then screwed up my friends burger and completely burnt mine. The next day we both had food poisoning to top it off. Complete waste of money

I really like this place! I previously lived in Ft. Pierce, FL and frequently went to their original location which is tiny compared to this place. I like the wings and they have so many different flavors that you could go a couple dozen times and still not have tried them all. Extensive menu and all items I have tried have been good.

We have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the Hurricane ever since we saw construction begin! The service was great! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgable of the menu. We didn't wait overly long during any part of ordering, dining or paying. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer and were impressed that they appeared to be freshly made; not frozen. Our entrees were a burger and crab cake sliders. Neither was the best we'd ever had but good enough that we'd come back and try other items on the menu. The menu is a bit overwhelming. It felt a little like a code breaking class, having to constantly refer back to the dozens of different sauces available. The sauce on the burger was supposed to be in the Category 4 but my husband said Floridians must be wimps because he barely tasted any heat to it at all. The wine and beer list was impressive and we both got something that we enjoyed. The decor is enjoyable and the wall of windows on one side gave the illusion of being on the coast, or maybe that was the cloudy weather outside. It is fairly noisy but okay for a casual meal.

A Pleasant Surprise - My father and I have enjoyed both visits to Hurricane. The first time we visited he had the pulled-pork quesadilla and I had the shrimp blt quesadilla. We both enjoyed the flavors. The second time he had the ginger thai salmon and I had the hurricane nachos. Again, we enjoyed our food very much. We've never had to wait to be seated. The staff is very friendly. Frankly, we are looking forward to going back again soon.

Cool! A restaurant with surfboards and fishing nets on the wall. Unfortunately the hype ended for me when the doors finally opened August 18th. The service was friendly but green. I would expect service to not be excellent so soon after opening but what really disappointed me were the mediocre wings and sides. The wings were definitely "jumbo" but mine were dry and not very flavorful and the sauce tasted canned and too artificial. I sampled 7 flavors which was unbelievably kind of them to offer that. The fries were also a disappointment, barely warm and a little soggy. The side of corn was nice but nothing special. The atmosphere felt way too fake and empty even with the beach schwag which included like a million surfboards on the wall. I kind of wish this was still a Ruby Tuesday (believe it or not).

I see why everyone says this place is nothing to write home about. Besides the bill I do nothing else left a taste in my mouth. The wings were bland, the drink I ordered(some type of Alcoholic that costs $12 even during happy hour, me and the manager got into a fight over that) had almost no Alcohol but a ton of water. Wild Wings is right up the street and is worth the extra 5 minute drive.

We were excited to come and try this new restaurant, but honestly I doubt we will be back. There was a pretty long wait, which I am sure is more because people want to try a new restaurant, and less because the food is good. I'm not going to say that the food was horrible, but given the choice between here and Chilis or Applebees, I would choose Chilis or Applebees anyday. My wife ordered the Santa Fe Churrasco, and I thought it was okay, but she thought it was pretty salty. My mother-in-law ordered a chicken dish, and it was very small and had no flavor. I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap and it was pretty good. It was pretty loud in there, but the service wasn't horrible. Its not a terrible place, but it's nothing to write home about.

I should have read the reviews before going. Salad was half wilted, fish on it was well cooked, well seasoned. Wings were OK, onion rings and fries totally sucked. It took around 45 minutes to get food after we ordered. Waitress did not know the menu, all good wait staff should. No toilet paper in the restroom. Won't be going back.

Great atmosphere and service. Weak drinks, I tried a category 4 drink which is supposed to have more alcohol and I could not taste anything except fruit juice. The food was mediocre at best, my friend shrimp tacos were dry-there was barely any sauce on it so I had to order a side of sauce. They also put a lime in the salsa which made it totally useless since I would've liked to squeeze some lime over the tacos, but I would rather not have salsa covered fingers so I went without. Ordered the conch appetizer with the coco loco sauce and the sauce was flavorful and the best part about that dish. I know this is a new restaurant so I am sure they will take to heart all this feedback that people are leaving about the food being not so great, and revise their recipes. Great selection on the menu, just not good food

My husband and I have been twice.....both times sitting at the bar during the lunch hour. We have ordered the bone in wings, thai slaw, Mahi Mahi sandwich with buffalo chips, the bleu salad and fried shrimp appetizer with other sauce (red hot sweet chili). We find the food expensive, high in calorie and the bone in wings were pretty good (HOT teriyaki sauce) but nothing great but certainly better than nasty Buffalo Wild Wings. The happy hour wine "Barefoot" is barely edible even at $2.75 a glass. The manager "on duty" came over to chat with us during our lunch and although very nice he kept spitting on us so we had to keep moving our plates away from him. We may be back, because there is not much on our side of town, but I will limit my food choice to the bleu salad $4.99 which was decent.

DO NOT go here! Had crab cake sliders. Mushy, bland and fishy with no sauce. Not sure they were even made using crab. Margarita tasted like grocery store margarita mix with no tequila. No employee looked older than 21 years old.

The wings are pretty good. I prefer them over Buffalo Wild Wings. The Thai cole slaw was delicious. Service was good, but drinks are not cheap and the decor is silly. I'll end up coming back.

Pretty standard suburban restaurant. Little too much flare for my taste. And the TV blaring out sports scores over the canned music got a little obnoxious after awhile. The food was ultra blah. The nachos were canned chili and pickled jalapeños heaven. The sauces were boring at best. The dynamite was almost exactly like the boss sauce and the fire and ice is not recommended for wings. It made me want fried shrimp because it tasted like red lobsters cocktail sauce. The Thai chili sauce was okay only because it was such a basic recipe that I have had it in several other restaurants. Sooooo if you find yourself needing to eat because it's dinner time but have no craving for any food and don't care what it is I would recommend this place :)

The wings at this joint are Awesome- 30 + flavors to choose from! The inside decor is a fun beach theme, would never have guessed it used to be a Ruby Tuesdays. Had a brief visit with Stephanie, one of the managers and she was so funny and charismatic! She helped guide us through the menu and made some very tasty suggestions - Gotta try the "Boss Sauce" and the Coco Loco"!!!

Worst wings ever. No sauce and swimming in grease. Seriously foul.

My husband's large hamburger was ok, but our appetizer of wings and fries was terrible. The three wings were dry and appeared to have been under a heat lamp for hours. I had the crab sliders and they too were awful. There were three very small pats of crab mixture with an off tasting wasabi sauce. We split a piece of their touted salted caramel cake that was large but was dry, dry, dry. The waiter was pleasant but a bit overbearing. He was dismayed that I hadn't eaten much of my meal, so he called the manager over. After a lengthy wait the manager finally appeared and grudgingly comped my entree. We won't be back.

I live down the street from this place and noticed it just opened with a crowded parking lot. When we arrived there was a 30-40min wait for a party of 2 and I was actually excited - maybe it's that good! Unfortunately, my heightened expectations fell flat on their face. After the wait our table did not have silverware/napkins (which did not come out until well after our food arrived). We ordered the Hurricane Nachos and a Jumbo Wings flavor sampler. For the nachos, the tortilla chips were cold, there was hardly and beef or cheese, and there was no sign of the Ancho Chile Lime drizzle or salsa on the side. For the wings, we ordered all level 4 wings (on a scale of 1 to 5) and only the Extra Hot Hurricane Sauce had any kick. The Jamaican Jerk, Dynamite Sauce, and Coco Loco sauces tasted as if they were maybe level 2. Overall, service was mediocre at best and this place felt like a Chile's or Applebees but with a variety of wings and sauces (which I'm assuming have huge margins). Good luck if you decide to go, but stay away from the Nachos!

Well, I wish I would have looked at these reviews before going. I bought a coupon online and decided to give this place a shot last night. This restaurant is pretty awful and I really hope management sees these reviews. Definitely the WORST service I have had. EVER. First off, I presented the coupon to the waitress at the very beginning because that is what is polite and she was just rude. From there, everything went downhill. She never came back to take our orders and about 20-25 minutes later another women came back to take our orders and apologized saying she was "busy." After that, no one ever checked on us, refilled our waters, came to get us another beer, etc. Our waters were empty, we didn't have plates, and we needed another beer. The funny thing is that our waitress kept flirting with some guys at the bar for about 10 minutes at a time (I caught her going back to them over five times), but yet she completely ignored us and never came over. I realize she was busy, but that is no excuse to chatting with some guys at the bar for 30 minutes. After we got our food, we never got plates to eat off of and we couldn't flag anyone down. Finally a random worker walked by and he got us what we needed. She came back once the entire time and we were there for an hour and a half. Pretty pathetic. The only good thing was the food, which was only OK. We got the chicken strips platter and the sauces were tasty. We also got a beer and the nachos. Those were OK. We got the Thai Slaw and it was really nasty. It tasted like it had been sitting around all day. It was extremely soggy and had too much sauce. To be honest, the service was so bad that I would never ever go back. I feel sorry for this establishment because it could be okay, but the employees/service is just so awful.

My husband and kids gave this place a try. We walked in, a nice young man welcomed us and seated us promptly. The decor is certainly fun with a beach, breezy feel to it. But we came in from a freezing cold temps outside and the temp inside was too cold. No big deal. But it was hard to warm up. Our waitress showed up quickly and took our orders in good time. Food came out in quickly. Ordered fried pickles, they were spicy and seemed too salty. My kids were very happy with their kids meals. My husband order your pulled pork quesadillas, he said they were decent. My nachos were not good. They were covered with ranch dressing, canned jalapenos, and canned beans. It didn't taste fresh at all. But over half way thru our meal our waitress disappeared, and we waited a good 20-25 minutes before a young man dropped off our check. He said no rush. But there was no follow up if we needed anything else. We were going to order three desserts and a margarita. But after the wait and your staff not caring to build their bill, we decided to hit the ice cream shop down the street. Our waitress showed back up to pick up the bill, but still we waited too long again. She came back and told us she was sorry but the credit card machines were down, would we mind waiting awhile. The answer would have been a firm yes, we would mind. But we offered her cash. She did apologize and said the manger was working on it. I understand these things happen. But asking us to hang out with no offer of a dessert for the trouble with two young kids I would have been very frustrated had we been without cash. We were there around 4pm the place only had a handful of people there at the time. Advice if you want to keep your place open, train your servers to finish the job as well as they start it. And don't serve food out of a can. Your prices are good - but sometimes you get what you pay for and I don't think I will be tempted to come back.

Was excited for a new wing place, but upon one visit will not return or recommed! Waited way to long when there were open tables. Ordered appetizers and when we received our appetizers we thought they were a bit small. Waitor came over and so did another server with our appetizers, much larger portions of fries....hmmmm. Our waiter sends the guy away and tells us the kitchen must of made an error and "I guess some kitchen staff will be getting some free food." I inquired as to why our fries were small and are we being charged $5.99 for the wrong order? Got a song and dance about the kitchen staff and the basket is no different than a cone and would I like a manager, yep! Manager gave me a sob story about how he is fed up with the waitstaff and the kitchen staff are having issues....never got an explanation as to whether or not we got the right order. What I did get was a copy of what we are being charged and the managers promise that the rest of our food would be right. I also got a waitor who boldly asked the rest of my party if they were okay. Needless to say the food was tasty the management and waitstaff were rude and very unprofessional. So, if you want a tasty meal and do not care about how you are treated, give it a whirl.

I went last night (Oct. 25) and was absolutely annoyed with my experience. I sat down and waited an inordinately long time to get service. When the server arrived, I ordered a beer and asked to have the television closest to me turned to the Colorado Avalanche game, as no one was actively watching the strong-man competition. Strangely, there wasn't a Magnus Ver Magnusson fan anywhere in sight. It took 10 or 15 more minutes to actually get my beer, and the server never seemed to care if I needed a water or anything at all. The TV soon transitioned to dune-buggy racing or some godforsaken drivel, so I went up to a manager and asked him to please turn the television to the Avs game. He was rather peeved that I had the audacity to ask anything from him and assured me that he would be by to change the channel. By this time, my whole party--seven strong with hearty appetites and thirsts--had arrived. Still, the TV wasn't showing the Avs vs. Hurricanes game--get the reason we chose Hurricane? So I asked another manager if he could change the station; he seemed to care and got to it. The rest of the night was a series of annoyances. Overall, the service is rather bad, the TVs are too small, the restaurant has very odd rules about the number of drinks a large party can order in an arbitrary period of time. The restaurant was deafening. The food is marginal. And the decor looks like a refreshed Sea Galley (a reference for those of you who are long-time South Jefferson County residents). I won't be going back any time soon--unless I'm in the mood to be annoyed.

This is a review for the website not the restaurant: Pretty website, but I am interested in information on your product. Meh. Is about the best way I can sum up our visit to hurricane. It took a good 15 minutes to be noticed by the bartender. When he finally came over and took our drink orders, we could see him pour our beers, then just let them sit there another 10 minutes before bringing them to the table. He forgets our waters, then gets them, then forgets his notepad to take our order. Get it together buddy. Ordered the wing teaser to start, with the gold rush sauce and the Jamaican jerk. Gold rush sauce was not bad, Jamaican jerk sauce was bland, and not even the least bit spicy. We also ordered the beachside chicken. It was tough and dry. Good thing it was covered with a ton of cheese, otherwise it would've been inedible. Beers were pricy, no happy hour. Overall, food was basically off the noble sysco truck, and service was mediocre. Good thing you are in the burbs hurricane, otherwise you'd never last.

This place is not worth the trip. Maybe it was because we went on a Sunday mid-morning for pre-game warm up. The wings tasted like they were fried from frozen, the conch fritters were a total disappointment (the conch they used tasted old and impacted the batter). The one saving grace to keep this from a one star review was the dipping sauce for the fritters. Oh...back to the wings...the "hot" wings tasted like they all had way too much honey or sugar to cut the spice. The Thai wings didn't taste anything remotely like they were Asian inspired...more like someone who has never had Thai food and guessed with what spice combo should go into it. The wait staff seemed very checked out and were average, at best, with the attempt to serve food. Never again. The beer selection was good...that was about it.

Super annoyed when we came here as every flavor of wings we wanted to try they were out of. We ended up picking different flavors but they weren't very good. The calamari was gross! Not even my child would eat it. This was our first time here, we might come back and give it another try but I am not sure.

The wings are very good and the choice of sauces is extensive. The nacho platter is huge and very tasty, and beer prices are quite reasonable. Atmosphere is a little on the kitschy side (think Margaritaville meets Joe's Crab Shack) but we like the fact that there's a lot of light in the restaurant at lunchtime. The hostesses all seem to be high school seniors and some of them aren't all that committed to what they're doing. Lots of chatting with each other and trying to figure out the seating chart. Let's say 3 1/2 stars, shall we?

I normally don't like wing places, as they're generally loud and obnoxious and the food is mediocre at best. However, I am pleasantly surprised at this place. First, it reminds me of Florida, which brings happy thoughts of vacations past. The alcoholic fruity drink selections are nice, and I had the Coco drink highlighting tequila, coconut rum, cream of coconut, and orange juice. It was really tasty. I chose to have the chicken tender platter with 2 choices of sauces (garlic parmesan and thai ginger garlic) and the side of garlic parmesan fries. The sauces really stood out, especially the thai sauce, and made the bland chicken really shine. I would put that sauce on everything! Overall, a fun, laid back place with lots of variety and sauces you can put on anything on the menu, and fun drinks that remind you of the beach.

This place was okay. Food was okay but the service was bad. So my friend and I had a female and a male server for our table. She was only there for a short time until her shift ended then the male server took over. The female server was nice but the male server took so long to reach our table. It was just so annoying after a while. When he did reach our table, I asked for a refill on my water and it never came. We were planning on getting dessert but he took so long reaching our table that we finally had enough and left. We even joked about dining and dashing due to our table being ignored for so long. Also my friend complained about his alcohol drink being watered down and only the top slice having alcohol.

We stopped in for a quick beer and to check out the place. Informed the bartender that it was our first time there and a manager brought out some comp parm fries that were delicious. We did not try the wings but the list of sauces was very impressive. I had one of the specials, tilapia which was very good, but did not look like the picture - LOL. The menu is very large and seems all over the place and I am a little skeptical that they can pull it all off, but we will go back and try some other items. The only minus was an employee off the clock sitting at the bar causing a distraction with the bartenders and some wait staff.

Again, had an awesome experience at Hurricane. We have found a few sauce favors we like now, love the beer specials they have, and have found our favorite server/bartender, Tim. He always ensures we have a great time and are well taken care of. Our food has been tasty every time we have been here - about 4 times now, so we will definitely be back! I honestly can't figure out why they aren't busier here.

Casual. I liked it, they have a patio and it was nice out so folks were taking advantage of it. Several seating areas with the bar hosting a slew of good two top seats for those folks comfortable sitting on high back stools. Also, seating at the bar, both areas are perfect for a quick bite. So on to the food, lots to chose from and just like the Restaurant name you got some grill selections that looked really fantastic based on what I saw coming out of the kitchen and they have wings, with 4 categories to chose from in the sauces, so take your pick from mild to super hot! My friend had the BBQ Pulled Pork Quesadilla, it was okay, but I am not a big fan of Quesadilla's since they are so easily made and well they were good but not special. I was though happy with my selection of the 12 chicken fingers, which were all very crispy and since I could pick up to 4 different sauce flavors, that was a really fun food task. I tried the Category 3 - Cyclone Sauce - MY FAVORITE..a nice bite that didn't leave my tongue wagging. *A delicious combination of our spicy firecracker sauce and cool ranch dressing. Also Category 1 - Mango BBQ Sauce *Tropical barbecue glaze with mango, ginger, pineapple, and lime Teriyaki Glaze *A blend of soy sauce, ginger, and exotic spices, topped with sesame seeds. Finally, Category 2 - Thai Ginger & Garlic Glaze *Sweet aromatic blend of garlic ginger, sesame and spices. They also have BEER, I didn't have one since I had just finished up at a Beerfest and I needed food . But they do offer more than 55 beers that I could see off their menu. Some not local so that makes a great beer tasting experience. For those that want to try something different try the Holy Mackerel beer out of Fort Lauderdale from which the original restaurant resides. Or of course they do a few domestic beers and Woodchuck if you like a cider. And if beer isn't your fancy then get a mixed drink they do have a full bar. I can't wait for more reviews from other Yelper's of other items off their menu. Or maybe in the future you will see some more from me!! hurricanewings.com/menu-… Enjoy!

Just glanced at the stars before the reviews to really experience the place. At first I was quite excited because the place was actually really cool. I enjoyed the atmosphere and servers. Surfboard tables? C'mon. It's pretty neat. The server we had was Brett(?) or Juan/Slowpoke. He gave the names to us just in case we forgot it. Brett was fun and very nice. The intro was quite a mouthful to explain and take in but the basic is, +30 plus flavors and the menu items are meant to pair up with any sauce. Colored coded sauces and a little fun to mess with the colored blind boyfriend. Because it was our first time, we got to sample sauces of our choice before ordering the food,(which we had plenty of time for but we didn't mind the wait.) After the tasting and talking about the menu,(Brett was very well with our stupid questions), we ordered our food and got the fries with bacon and cheese(brain farting but posted a picture!) and man oh man they were good. They come with jalapeños and ranch but not too big of a fan of those. And for first timers again, we got garlic Parmesan fries! They were amazing as well. Brett came back and asked if things were okay and then he said he'd place the order for our entrees. Honestly, I thought this was cool because it does get overwhelming to enjoy the food with a full table. Here's the 3 star. We waited quite a while to get our food. When we got the food, the bacon was missing from the burger and the food was quite hot. I've worked in a restaurant before and understand it gets packed 5-9 but it seriously started to die down about 30 minutes from when we got there,(7:30). I know it doesn't take 45 minutes to cook a burger to Medium Well and have chicken wrap. I really wanted to give this place a better review than everyone else's but man. If I didn't love my boyfriend, this wait would've left me one cranky person. We left before even trying the food due to time limit I had. Now I'm leaving the wrap for my brother's lunch tomorrow. Maybe "Slowpoke" was a joke about the place made by Brett. ****EDIT***** Boyfriend got food poisoning from the burger. Yeah it's medium well but reading the other reviews, it's not just us... (I'm a different Amanda I swear.) And Brett/Juan/Slowpoke, if you read this we really did enjoy your service. Just paying $30 for a slow stay doesn't really float with us. Keep doing what you do, maybe suggest a cook or 2 more in the back so this place would get at least 3 stars.

The place thinks that just because they have more flavors than Buffalo Wild Wings they are automatically better. In my opinion they aren't all that great. You might disagree. But go try for yourself. I know most wings are different depending on the restaurant but they give out more drums than they do wings and that needs to be fixed as well. The rest of their food is decent, not to great but not horrible by any means. But the only way to find out if it really is fit for your taste buds is to try it out for yourself!

Great vibe on a Sunday afternoon. Happy employees delivering good service, tasty drinks and good food. Asked for well done wings. They were perfectly cooked and had really good flavor. My wife had the Turkey burger. It wad huge and she really enjoyed it. We Will go back.

We were so excited to have something new in the neighborhood. We have now been 3 times just because Southwest Littleton does not have a lot of choices for dining out that aren't chains. I've tried several different wings now and a club sandwich and just not exciting. I guess it's good for watching a game and having a beer. I think my expectations were just set really high because I watch this really cool building go up and was hoping for something special and some great Jamaican Jerk and fabulous flavors. Just fell short for me.

Went for a week day lunch with 5 work friends for a co workers birthday. We arrived a little after noon, place was about half empty. I honestly wasn't super excited since I always yelp stalk a place before eating there and the reviews were luke warm. They had a lunchtime happy hour, which was pretty cool. Got a 3$ bloody mary on hh prices and asked for it spicy~ it was a pretty darned good bloody mary and I recommend. I had the conch chowder and lunch portion grouper sliders. I was pleasantly surprised with the chowder, while not amazing it was good (and it complimented the bloody mary well). The sliders were good with good flavor, breading was thin and crispy without being greasy like fried fish can be. Others ordered various items and everyone left satisfied. They docked the caramel cheesecake we ordered and shared for the birthday, and were sports about singing HBD (we all joined in). The waiter was attentive and very nice, though seemed a little disoriented (they had a new menu insert). This seems like a fun little HH spot, especially when it warms up and can sit on the patio. I can't wait to try the rum bucket, no sharing!!

This review is only for the wings. Nice sized wings and legs. Worth the cost. Def like them better than Buffalo Wild Wings. The only complaint I have is that the honey chipotle sauce was not hot whatsoever (it is advertised to be scorching). Hard to find tasty hot sauce for those wings around south Denver. I wish America's bar and grill opened up over here in Littleton.

Hurricane isn't a bad spot if you want wings. We came here for this reason after a movie. It was about 2pm and the lunch rush was just ending so it emptied out quickly and we weren't drowned out with noise. Their wing sauces are divided into categories of 1-5, 1 being completely mild and 5 being the hottest. We ordered a variety of sauces, there's a sample platter that allows for up to 4 different ones for $21. We did a mesquite rub, Jamaican Jerk, Firecracker (hot with honey), and Fire and Ice (hot with horseradish). I also got 5 of the Ridiculously Hot, which is their hottest. This had great flavor with a good after burn to it. I would recommend the Fire and Ice anytime, it's an original flavor without being overly spicy. They have a decent tap selection and a frozen/specialty drink menu. It's very brightly lit and is obviously meant to be a family friendly joint, but they do have a comprehensive sauce list and a full menu besides. My friends love it here, I'm sure we'll come back for the Fire and Ice alone.

Not really a place tailored for non-families. The service is still friendly, but this place needs a few good deals to compete, besides well liquor, and low end beer.

We come here for wings only and we keep coming because they are the closes we can find to the awesome wings at Kelly's in Key West. The wings are nice and crunchy instead of soggy and so many sauces you could spend a lifetime finding the right combo. The Parmesan fries are great and the pickle chips I could eat all day. The service is hit and miss. The first few times we came the service and the food was much better, like they took a little more time to make it really good, like REALLY coating the wings instead of it just looking like they squirted some sauce on and didn't mix. I give three stars because it has gone down hill a bit as mentioned above in consistency and quality. Even when we now specifically ask that the wings be well covered and mixed well, they still come to our table with some not even coated and the rest not very well mixed. They usually bring extra sauce to fix this mistake but when we specifically ask for them to be right, which we shouldn't have to do, they should come to our table as we ask. The vibe is nice and reminds me of living in the Keys but gets WAY too busy on the weekends. Last time we tried to come on a Friday evening, there was a half hour wait. No thanks. For the few days a year it is warm enough to sit outside, there is a small patio seating area. The first few times we came, we got the happy cheerful bubbly high-school/college girl that seemed like she liked her job... now every time we come, we are put in the middle aged dude that walks super slow, chats it up with all the other employees, and takes three requests to get our order right.

Now that I have moved to Littleton, I have a whole new area of town to sniff out. I have started with Hurricane. I have heard mixed things about this place and now after going twice, have a few mixed feelings as well. The service seems iffy and the drinks are a bit expensive. The food, on the other hand, is absolutely tasty. I ordered the salmon with a mango sauce on top, cheese covered broccoli and a cup of slaw. The salmon fell apart, it was extremely tender. Brian went with the wing sampler, which gives you 4 flavor options out of the 30 something flavors to pick from. Great choices and different levels of heat. If you could stand to have mediocre service, then I think you should go there just to try the awesome food.

3.5 stars!

  • Tim B.

  • Greg B.

Honesty, it's a different change up. But some of their plates have three different food tastes to it. None of it goes well together. The wings are okay, depending on the day. It just seems to outdone for a night out.

  • Alyssa R.

We go here all the time! The food is great, especially the wings, be sure to ask for them with a little extra sauce or else they may be a little too dry. The only thing that is lacking, is the service.

Well we decided to try hurricane grill today and were pleasantly surprised. Our server Maggie was just great. Fish and chips was perfect and the shrimp blt quesadilla was great. We will be back and we will be bringing friends.

Lunch was 20$ after tip for the fish and chips that really weren't even good. One peice of fish. Kinda a rip off. Won't be returning.

Great food! Great wings! The pecan chicken salad was wonderful. However, I could not believe they were out of their signature cat 3 sauce. Guess I will have to come back! Large menu, so much to choose from!

Love this place! Wings are outstanding! Watched the play off games here, they had great drink specials and sufficient tv's. Katie was our waitress and she rocked! Definitely on my list of favorite places.

Alright food, small portions for the price. Service was alright however, the waitress was very unprofessional and the food arrived at different times.
