My husband and I have been coming here since they opened. It's true that with the staff and ownership changes it was hit and miss as far as service and quality food went. With the new ownership, though, as well as new staff, the food and service have improved 100%! I would, however, like to see more items on the menu.

Good place to come tip one back plus, the BBQ pulled pork is great.. Always tender and a great variety of sauces to try.. Bar tenders always have a great attitude and know just how to make you feel right at home.. I'm a regular in this place and have nothing to complain about.. GOOD JOB.!!!

it always takes about an hour (no exaggeration) to get your food. the service is slow, they don't care if you need a refill on a beverage. the food is ok at best.

Absolutely the most disgusting establishment in Firestone. I knew our councilmen were corrupt but this place is a direct representation of this God AWFUL city. The blond bimbo bartender completely ignored our party of 4 and was too busy flirting with poor, drunk, old men in order to get more tips from them. She then ordered them to go to the liquor store and buy her some whipped vodka shooters and she would comp their tabs. She is stealing money from the owner by not taking people's orders and by comping tabs. My party went outside to have a smoke on Friday night just before 12 (place closes at 2am). When we were all outside she locked the doors on us, gave us a dirty look and walked back to the bar. I hope this place gets shut down soon. I can't believe people bring their children here to eat breakfast. Disgusting!

It's taken us over two years to finally decide to give Parrott's a try. From the outside, it's hard to tell what's going on...biker bar? Closed? A friend had been to Parrott's for a party on a night when they had live music and said the food was pretty good so we decided to head in on a whim. It was pretty dead around 7pm on a weeknight. My guy got the BBQ Sampler plate which was good sized. I believe it came with pulled pork, ribs, 1/2 a smoked chicken and a couple sides (green beans which were not great and a baked potato which was good). He seemed pleased, and there was plenty to take home, too. I got a burger and sweet potato fries. Very tasty. I will say though that the service left a lot to be desired. Our server would disappear for a while - it took a long time for her to take our order, then once our food arrived I don't think she ever came back to see how it was, and getting the bill and a box took FOREVER. The decor is just alright - what would you expect for a bar/dive joint in Firestone, CO? But I will say the food was good. And I bet it would be fun to hang out here for Sunday Night Football. Want a good burger and a beer? Parrott's is the place.

We had a nice dinner. I really liked the wings with the hot sauce. My husband had a burger and thought it was a little over cooked. The restaurant was clean, the service was good and friendly. I'd go back again.

I just love this hole in the wall bar. Don't let the status of "bar" fool you. They have the best hamburgers around.

I visited this bar and grill last night with a good friend and we had such an amazing time!! i had a sore throat and wanted something strong and soothing and she made me a wonder full Hot toddy of jacks honey and lemon and even warmed it up for us! it was so tasty and she helped me decide. She also referred us to he sweet and spicy wings that were AMAzing!! The bread pudding is amazing as well! Ashlynne was an amazin server! the best one there!

Best ribs I've ever eaten- hands down. And you must try the Alabama nachos with the white barbecue sauce. Only shortfall is: they're usually short staffed.

The only reason I'm giving this place four stars is the fact that it seems as if there's an identity crisis going on. I understand it's a family establishment but it's a sports bar, one of those areas where you kind of need to pick and choose what you wanna be. Now as far as the service goes, I've never had bad service here. The bartenders are always very friendly and definitely know how to pour a good drink and bet your ass you won't have to wait long for a refill of your chosen libation. On to the grub. The food is stellar, they smoke all of their own meats back behind the bar and it's phenomenal, they have a white BBQ sauce that's to die for, it's great on everything and I can't get enough of it, try the BBQ nachos ;) you won't go home hungry. All in all it's a great place to come after work or in the morning for a Bloody Mary have a good convo with one of the pretty girls and have some good drink and food.

Its often very loud whether it is music or some sport on tv. This is fine if you are watching 'the game' but we have been there when it just normal tv blaring. The food is average bar fare and often tastes reheated rather than fresh. That said, there isn't a lot of choices in the area. Parrots is better than most local alternatives. There can be a number of smokers near the front door which is a turn off in my opinion. Its a good place to have a quick beer on Friday night.

Went in for lunch one day, and they were out of about everything so I ended up with a buffalo chicken sandwich which was one of those cheap frozen patties covered in sauce, but they only had one girl working, serving, cooking and tending bar, I felt bad for her...

Got the New York strip... The worst 17$ investment ever... Came with the salad bar and chips(which seemed burnt). The steak was the most overcooked and dry steak I've had in quite some time... and the salad bar must have been the leftovers from the day before. Only reason for my 2 star rating was simply the service and drinks were great. Living right down the street... i was really hoping this place would be good... disappointed .

Disclosure: We haven't been back here in over 2 years so things may have changed. I have been to this place several times, lack of options dictates this. Awful place to have food and beers. Service is always bad, food is mediocre at best. Every time I have left there I think "why the hell did I come back?"
