Nothing but alot of dough for alot of money. Took 40 minutes for our "deep dish" pizza. I'm from Chicago and trust me, there is nothing deep dish about this pizza. Barely any cheese, barely any sauce, but a whole lot of dough. Sticky tables(moved twice). Kept smelling the body odor of someone and I'm pretty sure it was an employee but I couldn't confirm exactly who it was. I've had better pizza in Los Angeles.

Great customer service! Absolutely fantastic. I ordered the wrong pizza for takeout. FOREWARNING to anyone looking at the pictures on yelp: The pizzas with the sauce on top and cheese on bottom (typically deep dish style pizza).... those are NOT deep dish pizzas here. That is considered a "stuffed" pizza. I learned that the hard way. The "deep dish" pizza is just a regular pizza with a HEAPING amount of bread-y doughy crust. It's really not bad. The crust is actually really tasty - garlic-y, buttery, etc. BUT, it's not the deep dish I wanted. So, I called in to ask about it because I thought they had just given me the wrong pizza. Nope, it was me who messed it up. But, the yelp reviews are so deceiving! Anyway, they were SO kind to me on the phone. The manager was so accommodating and felt so bad that I wasn't happy with my order and they wanted to do anything possible to make it up to me. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience. Really, truly impressed. Overall the pizza was tasty, but it's the exceptional customer service that will be bringing me back!

The free breadsticks were a plus. Personally, they'd have tasted better if they were covered in Parmesan as opposed to what appeared to be garlic salt and if they were a bit more doughy tasting. I got a double dough 10" which can feed two with a side. The cheese was fine, but neither the sauce or pepperoni really had all that much spice to it. Personal preference, but it might be of interest to those with a shared taste. The price plus delivery fees on top of a standard sized tip didn't justify the premium to your standard Pizza Hut or Dominos pricing in my opinion.

On my first visit here I was super impressed. Upon walking in we were greeted right away and seated. We got an order of the garlic cheesy bread and it was to die for! The mild wings were my bfs fav. Once it came time for the deep dish pizza we got the Beast. It was delicious! However we got so much food we didn't prepare ourselves for the 12" pizza. So if you come here being all of your friends or come really hungry because this place is awesome!

In a quest to find authentic Chicago thin pizza (yes, there is such a thing) we have tried Jimano's and found a pretty good version of it. If you aren't familiar with it, Chicago thin has a cracker thin crust and nice squares of ooey gooey cheese and toppings that make it a lighter pie than its deep dish cousin. Their pies are always hot and fresh. I do think they are a little pricey on toppings and what not, but it isn't my everyday pizza so it isn't a big deal. They do have their own parking lot off Broadway, near Bates (in with Billy's), so it makes it an easy stop. Plus they have online ordering or dine in! I haven't tried the deep dish, but I can recommend the thin!

Meh! I so wanted to like this place because of the reviews on here and the peeps that worked there were cool but alas, the pizza was not what I expected and 2 out of 3 people thought it was way too salty but do have to say, the 3rd person is a salty person(pun intended). We had the Thusday special: 2- 14" one topping thin crust pizzas, 1 with sausage and 1 with pepperoni. The fried mushrooms were good but the dressing was not. Sorry but probably wont be back. Search continues.

I grew up on Chicago style thin pizza in the Midwest, so I'm always on a quest to find a thin style pizza locally that's as good as what I grew up on (and still get when I go back home). Jimano's was good, but still not as great as my old Arni's Pizza. They have the thin crust down perfectly, altho they could use some corn meal on the crust. The pizza was cooked to perfection, with piles of grease pooling underneath it. The downside is they put the toppings underneath the cheese and didn't chop up the pepperoni (a personal fave). The pizza was still excellent, but not quite what I was hoping for. We also ordered bread sticks, which were good and gooey, and it came out as a giant plate of tiny sticks. Way too much for 2 people to eat. Suffice it to say we took half of our sticks and half our pie home with us. Service was great, too. We'll definitely be back.

This is my family's go to pizza joint, and after several dozen visits in the last few years I figured I owed them a review. I've tried all four crusts (thin, double dough, deep, and stuffed), and the stuffed is hands down the epic winner. I've ordered the 16" stuffed Jimanos Beast more times than I care to admit. At 8+ pounds (yes I have weighed it multiple times), the $32 premium is well worth it, as it feeds my family for two solid meals. The flavor is great, there is tons of cheese, and the toppings are fresh. The sauce is a little acidic, but I like it with some bite and hate sauce that has been sugared up. The downsides to this epic pie is that it takes 45min to bake, and every once and awhile gets a bit scorched. CORPORATE, IF YOU READ THESE REVIEWS, THEN REPLACE THE BUSTED OLD PIZZA OVEN AND BELIEVE YOUR STAFF WHEN THEY SAY WE LIKE SOME HONEY FOR THAT LOAF OF BREAD ON THE STUFFED CRUST!!! The breadsticks are very unique and completely awesome garlicy goodness. The salads are fresh, but kind of boring and a little small for the price. The dressing is made with garbage soybean oil which is a huge dissapoint for an italian style joint. I only get the salads when I am desperate for something green. The staff is always really nice to me and my kids, and is very quick to take of things if there is a mistake. Joel and Katherine are some of the best waitstaff I have had anywhere. If you sign up on the email club, then they do great discounts and specials every month. Bottom line: awesome stuffed pie for being in Denver, great ingredients, and great service. If they ever improve the salads and fix the unreliable oven then it will be 5 stars.

The dough is incredibly dense and tastes like anyone could make this pizza, not a chef. The prices are really out of control and I think they realize this because they have a list of all their specialty pizzas on the wall but no prices next to them. We were shocked that 1 pizza can be $30. There is also way too much cheese added to the pizza which was very filling and just nothing I would ever go back for again.

  • Terri K.

We were shocked at how amazing this place turned out to be due to ordering delivery. We've never had a lot of luck with delivery but this place did not let us down! The service was excellent. The food actually arrived hot and correctly. We had a Chicago style beef sandwich, much like a french dip but far superior. We also had a thin crust Canadian Bacon / Pineapple and it was incredible! Definitely making this place a must when in Denver area! !

Once again, Yelp led me to a gem! I had the deep dish lunch special and was very pleased with both the pizza and the value. The bacon pizza was plenty cheesy, the crust was tasty and crisp but not overwhelming in volume (relative to the toppings). I was a bit concerned about being full enough from a single slice but the slide was ample to fill me without being too full. $4.29 for lunch of any kind these days is an exceptional bargain. The lone employee I saw today was cheerful, attentive and a good multitasker...he appeared to be running the whole show during lunch although the relatively small dining room wasn't full. All in all, I don't know what I'd change to make my experience better... 5 stars from me!

Came in on Friday after we put our order in hey told us the computer didn't send it to the cooks.after waiting more than 30 min they hooked it up with a free appetizer and then when we got our pizzas they said it was on the house we literally got one of the most expensive pizzas here and they were super friendly. Definitely won our business back. Good service and the pizza was awesome. Definitely check it out.

  • Kasia K.

I had a pick up order . It was ready about 10 min late than estimated time . That's not a problem . They were busy . Pizza was good . But fries were cold , old as saggy, also I asked for ketchup . No ketchup to be found .

I grew up in Gurnee/Waukegan, Illinois, which are suburbs outside of Chicago. Anyway, this is the place where we would order from all the time back in Gurnee! Me and my husband would seriously eat it every Friday night while we were in high school, back when it was called Jimmy's. Cannot believe this pizza place has made its way over here to Colorado! We always order the thin crust pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni is under the cheese. I also order the Italian beef, Chicago style, with the peppers...to die for!! This is definitely our favorite pizza joint in Colorado. Period.

  • Jim F.

Based upon others reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Being in town on vacation, you don't Always have a good idea of what's good and what's not. But this one hit the mark. I followed another user's suggestion and got the stuffed pizza. Great classic deep dish. I ate myself silly. My friend ordered the cheese tortillini with meatballs. The meatballs were good, but he should have gotten the mozzarella melted on top. All in all a good decision tonight.

Deliciousness!! Been looking everywhere for pizza like back home, good ol Chicago. Denver is definitely robbed of good pizza joints. So glad we found this!!!!

  • Amanda T.

This has become our delivery/take out pizza place of choice. I don't know if it's authentic Chicago thin crust pizza, but I know it's delicious! It's the perfect ratio of crust, sauce and cheese and they have a great selection of toppings too. The breadsticks are also tasty too-it's basically savory pizza fritte which reminds me of my college days in upstate NY and is a treat every now and then! We are fans of Jimano's and turn to them often on a busy night when we don't have time to cook or just have a hankering for pizza!

    (4)
  • Rashonna M.

This was by far the best pizza & breadsticks I've had EVER. If you love great Chicago style pizza this is your place. It's very authentic & the taste of all the food is amazing. Definitely a place you'd want to visit it you are in Denver or surrounding areas & looking for some great pizza!!!!!

  • Amarie S.

Stopped in here for a quick slice the other day. We weren't sure if it was open but it was. Lol was super dead inside. Like ghost town. We ordered the pepperoni and a garlic chicken slice. The slices were huge!! Was a very chill mediocrely priced place.

  • Nathan P.

Now that was a good pie! We tried this place a few weeks ago and loved it enough to try it again, which we did over the weekend. Here's what I love about this place... 1) The pizza is terrific - at least the pizza we order, which is sausage, green peppers and mushrooms; 2) They remember you. When I called to place our order the other night the guy who answered asked if we are still at ..., which we are so I didn't have to tell them again. On top of that they were able to pull up my previous order making the ordering process easy. Will we be back? Absolutely! Should you try this place? Only if you want to eat some good pizza.

  • Nicola C.

I ordered their regular thin crust pizza with two toppings. They offered a free 12 in cheese pizza with it as a special. I also ordered an Italian salad. First off, for ONE pizza (the second was free) and a salad, it cost me over $30; problem one. So, I figure at this price the pizza must be pretty good. Wrong! This pizza was disgusting, I'm not joking. It was like eating cafeteria pizza from an elementary school 20 years ago. The crust is like card board, there's not even enough cheese to approach the crust. The worst part was the stomach ache I had for two days afterwards. My roommate, who is a man and will eat anything wouldn't even eat more than one slice. Save your money! Even dominos or Pizza Hut would have been better than this place!

    (1)
  • Tom S.

Jimano's specializes in Chicago style pizzas, both thin crust and stuffed. Yes, there is such a thing as Chicago style thin crust and if you haven't had it, you need to try it. Ordered a half Italian beef and half sausage thin crust. It was so good. The crust was crisp and delicious. The sauce was tasty, and the toppings were very flavorful. Italian beef was so juicy.

These guys still amaze me! They will deliver for us now - like I needed any more excuses to eat pizza and subs all the time. Love this pizza joint!

Our new favorite Pizza Place. Everything from the service to the food was outstanding. Originally from Minnesota, we have been looking for THIS style of pizza. Thin crust, generous layer of yummy cheese and........ it's cut into SQUAREs. It took us 18 years to find it, but it has been worth the wait! Highly recommend it.

    (5)
  • Thaddius B.

Growing up Chicago I am picky about my pizza, I have had the thin square cut here a few times and while not bad it still lacks something in my opinion. It is ok and I would order again but I can think of a couple other places in the city that do it much better. It is close to my work which makes it a decent option. The one sandwich I had was MEH at best. The deep Chicago style looks pretty good and I will have to give it a try. It's is a good place and for people that grew up on Domino s and Pizza Hut as their only option and they will probably love it! But for us aficionados it is just an OK option.

    (3)
  • Brady K.

Italian sausage special with giardeneria with a thin crust and cut into squares just like Chicago. Also have an Italian Beef with the peppers. Not bad and very reasonably priced. Located on South Broadway, there is plenty of parking and a nice patio for plenty of seating. Servers were original and funny and very helpful. There is definitely some competition for good pizza on Broadway and I would say Jimano's up there with the best of them.

All I know is I like this place! And I can also say this...pizza in Denver is 10 times better than Seattle

  • Daviana M.

We walked in at about 10:45. The guy said they were closed for the night because it was a slow day but said he'd help us out. Which he didn't have to do in the first place. On top of that, he had our pizza out in about 20 minutes. Pretty decent timing, though I'm sure the oven was still on. Or at least still hot if he had turned it off. He left with us on our way out at around 11:10, and we thanked him kindly for doing us a solid. The pizza was great. Few to no left overs. I see why this place has good ratings and reviews. I recommend it.

    (5)
  • Mark Z.

Wow we just ate the best pizza in Denver!!! $9 for a large pizza because we used the Yelp coupon, plus we get 20 percent off on our next pizza. Keep up the great work.....

  • Matt B.

Although the food was good, it wasn't the best pizza I have ever had. Not to mention the prices were crazy. It really left me hoping for more.

  • Christopher B.

Wow the best deep dish pizza I have had in the metro area.. Amazing food and service.. fyi if you are public service.. i e veteran or firefighter or police your meal is 50% off. Bread sticks are the best in town hands down.

    (5)
  • Spencer K.

Thin Crust pizza cut in squares is my jam and they do it really well. Tried the Deep dish and it was sub-par, stick with thin. This was the first time having Giardinara peppers as a pizza topping, where has that been all my life?! Excellent topping that I get every time now. Also, if you just stop in an order they are very quick to pump out a pizza for you. Have cheap beers to drink while you wait.

I have been in colorado for 3 years now. Yes i have found some pizza places that are very good, but jimanos...by far the best ive had. Originally from chicago and this is actually quality chicago pizza. I have never had a bad experience and unlike most places they are realistic about their delivery times. You want good pizza jimanos is the place. So good its worthy of my first yelp review after having the app for a very long time.

    (5)
  • Sara H.

The Aloha on thin crust was incredible. The Beast is good, yet for folks who love loads and loads of toppings. Can shoot a quick text when u get there for free breadsticks. I am trying the BLT on thin next time. Our friendly server said the thin and deep dish are their best. Thin all the way.

  • Jennifer W.

We got a buffalo chicken sandwich with no sauce. The pizza is ok. We asked for a side of marinara, and they forgot it. The sauce is literally lacking

  • Scott M.

I have been in Colorado for a little over 10 years and Jimano's is by far the BEST thin crust pizza i have had. Everything here is great from the fresh breadsticks, fried mushrooms and wings. The pizza is amazing. From the sauce to the toppings its great. A perfectly cooked crust that is neither crunchy or soft. A must for anyone who loves pizza.

    (5)
  • Ricky S.

WOW, awesome pizza. Out of this world Italian Beef Sandwiches.. I have been here once and will come back.. $3 beers and all the tastes of Chicago to boot.. This is the best food for the money and tastes out of this world.. Sorry diet but you have competition... LMAO I will be back again and again..I would crawl 2 miles through broken glass to eat a Italian Beef Sandwich from this fine Chicago eatery. The pizza is the best thin crust I have ever had.. MMMMMM !!!!!!!

  • Bernie B.

I love pizza, and this has the closest thing to Chicago thin crust I have had in Denver. If I was in Chicago it wouldn't be 4 stars, but here in Denver I think it is. However, last time I went in there I was by myself and waited for 5 plus minutes to be seated. Unfortunately I left because I continued to wait when they weren't that busy. That is why they are 3 stars rather than 4 in my review.

    (3)
  • Katie T.

The customer service was very good and friendly. The pizza chef was quick and I was ready in about 10 minutes to take my pie home. I ordered a plain cheese thin crust pizza and it was delicious. Flavorful cheese and the crust was nice and crispy. My pet peeve is soggy pizza so crispy crust is always good. Over all it was a very good experience and the best thin crust pizza since moving here 6 months ago.

Warning: Exclamation Point Overload Man 'O Man! I'm still full! 2 days later!! When I searched "pizza," Jimano's was the first name that came up. I read the most recent review and knew I'd read enough. I needed to check this place out for myself. My wife and sister came along. Before we got there these were the things we harped on: "We're eating thin crust" "At least gluten-free" "No meat!!" (An abomination for a pie) Long story short, when we rolled up we saw another couple eating a deep dish on the patio. Sold! We ordered deep dish! We did the 16" because we are grown ups. Topped it off with Canadian bacon, black olives, garlic and spinach. Good sauce! Cheese lovers paradise! In all, the pie filled us up, but not to the point that we regretted it. Ended up taking four slices home. P.S. The service was good too, but there were only two tables occupied (including us). That's still left to be determined for another visit. I will be back!

THIS PLACE is dope. Let's begin with an uber friendly guy at the counter..then let's throw in I had stopped a little girls lemonade stand and they let me bring it in. So i stuck to pizza this visit...A pepperoni slice and a deep dish chicken club....Tuesday is when to come in for baked spaghetti dish for 5.99. ....I heard the ribs are by far the best thing on the menu but today's stop is pizza...The dough is legit...great service...rich marinara that's not too sweet...board games and a tv to keep the party going ...and a bakery for dessert within walking distance...it's worth stopping in...

  • Elijah T.

I've eaten here on and off for a long while. It's great pizza, and some of the best Chicago-style deep dish you can find in the area, but the price is a little steep for regular eating. I'd probably be putting it up around four or five stars, but a co-worker and I recently had an awful experience ordering their lasagna on Tuesday, 12/02/14. We had two orders delivered for lunch, and after I ate it, I didn't have much of an appetite all day. Didn't end up eating anything else that day, which is why it's pretty easy for me to pinpoint Jimano's lasagna as the item that left me with some awful food poisoning. I awoke at 4am, shivering and sweating and just... So full of vomit. After hours of puking, I texted my co-worker, and he was in the same boat. I called the store to tell them, and the guy on the phone was polite enough but seemed very skeptical. I'm HOPING they threw out that batch of lasagna and nobody else was afflicted with this. But, you know... Just a PSA: Don't get their lasagna this week.

We ordered delivery, and for delivery, it was good. The best was the chicken- grilled, smokey, wonderful. We had the chicken club on thin crust. The breadsticks were small bread nuggets, and they were excellent. Looking forward to trying again, but in the store.

First time at Jimano's. We went due to reviews off Yelp. Thanks for nothing people who think this is good pizza! We ordered three appetizers, the mozzarella sticks, poppers, and mushrooms. They were all very hot and good. The sauces they brought out with them were very thin/runny and had a strong vinegar taste to them, something was not right. Sauces, not good. We ordered 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 specialty with the deep dish crust. One person in our party ordered a side salad. Nothing outstanding there either and the blue cheese dressing was as strange as the sauces we were served for the appetizers. The outside crust of our pizza was crisp, and the cheese was ooey and gooey and stringy and made me excited to taste it. The veggies were fresh, which was nice, but the crust under the toppings was doughy. The sausage is crumbled, previously frozen, grayish matter! Very disappointing! I was hoping for excellent pizza and instead I got a grade up from frozen. The waiter was friendly and did keep our glasses full, but that's not enough to make me go back.

This place is one of the better ones. If you don't mind waiting for a bit. Once I got it back to work, my co-workers, really enjoyed the taste and the way it was prepared.

I dont know what it is about Denver but we are more than over run by crappy NY pizza. This place is a breath of fresh air in the Denver food scene. Iv had the the deep dish Italian beef pizza and the Italian beef sandwich. Both were amazing. The pizza is so deep that even a big eater like myself is full after 2 pieces. Always be sure to get the hot peppers on anything you get, just like in Chicago. Next time I go I will try the thin crust pizza. Which Im told is how the south side likes it. The north siders enjoy the more well known deep dish (or so im told.) If youre sick of the same old NY crap than come here for a slice, cold beer, and catch some of the Hawks game.

  • Rachael L.

Best meatball sub we've had!!! The guy who works up front was super friendly and helpful. After getting into DIA late, we searched for a place to eat at 10:30PM. Everything was closed..except this place, good find! Only con: Grilled chicken salad was poor quality. The chicken was good, but the iceberg lettuce, no other veggies, 1/4" water in bottom of container...yuck.

Wow, great smell better pizza. Was looking for a different place and saw this place. First time here and it was great. Prices are good and I will be back for their dinner. Glad I was in the area. Our server was nice and well versed in the neighborhood. If you like pizza, come here.

  • Ben W.

I ordered 2 slices of pizza: one deep dish cheese; and one roast beef special pizza slice. They arrived and were not only delicious (particularly for just slices), but also massive! While I can generally down some pizza, I ended up taking the roast beef slice with me, as I was pretty full after the 1st slice. It was also nice to be able to enjoy a local beer with my slice... The staff was very friendly and helpful, and a great source of local information. I'll gladly return the next time I'm in town!

I am originally from Chicago and have been looking for a decent pizza around here. I tried jimanos and was pleasantly surprised. Delivery was quick, even though live a bit far away, and the pizza was great. I'll be ordering from them again.

Some of you may recall that the options available in the Denver area for "Chicago Style" pizza were severely limited until fairly recently. I had purchased a Groupon for Jimano's nearly a year ago. With it soon to expire, I took a friend from out of town over to grab some 'za before a movie. We went with the "Stuffed", which is what they call their thickest pizza. Jimano's offers 4 levels of increasing crust thickness (Thin Crust, Double Dough, Deep Dish, and Stuffed). I usually go for a combination of meat and veggies, but since my friend was along, we grabbed the "Jimano's Meat Maniac" (Italian sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, ground beef, & bacon. They offer S, M, L and XL. We opted for the Large. This was $24. This may seem expensive if you are used to Domino's, but for a Chicago Style pizza, this is pretty much the norm. This was easily enough pizza for 4 average adults, or 3 big eaters. The crust was good (it leaned more towards flour than corn meal) and there was a fair amount of cheese, that stretched nicely when you pulled the pieces apart. The meat was of a goodly amount. Although the bacon was so smoky that it somewhat overpowered the other flavors. I liked the tomato sauce, but it was on the acidic side. If Denver Deep Dish and Patxi's had never come to town, this would probably now be my "go to" place for thick pie. We had arrived early, so we were the only folks in the place, and they cooked our pizza faster than I expected. Service was good. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this place.

I never liked Chicago style pizza in Chicago, but I decided to go out on a limb and try the stuffed pizza, and I really liked it. With one of their coupons, I got a free 12" thin crust with my pizza, and I really liked that one, too (sauce has a nice flavor). They would deliver to me, even though I lived 4-5 miles away. I will miss having this place nearby.

  • Matthew S.

Pizza was burned when delivered and was $50. We ordered 2 pizzas. Never eating here or ordering pizza from them again. If you want a quick pizza, order from Papa John's! The people were friendly, but the food just wasn't worth it.

    (2)
  • Kyle O.

$2.50 can/bottle beers while you wait for your pizza! Plus they not only honored the $5 for $10 but also gave us the 20% off our bill too!!

Damn expensive, but so damn tasty! Work at a nearby hospital and we order from here A LOT!! Love them!!

  • Monica M.

Much better quality than the chains and is usually worth the higher price but is a hit or miss. Pizza is the specialty here. Ribs are usually amazing but the last order tasted old. The pasta portions have been inconsistent and sometimes dry--ask for extra sauce and you're golden. This used to be a go-to delivery joint and will come back but know it's hit or miss.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Now I can get my stuffed spinach and mushroom pizza in Denver and not have to have my go to place in Chicago ship it to me!!

I tried Jimano's few times since i moved near broadway. The first time i came in and ordered a pasta. It tasted good but i had to wait 50 minutes for a pasta and there were at least 6-8 employees at that time working. They had only one table to serve of two people and me who is ordering a pasta for pickup. It was 5:15 pm. I was really mad just sitting 50 minutes waiting for a pasta when 6 employees are just goofin around the restaurant. I took my food and went home. The second time i ordered delivery after checkin few yelp review. I remember reading about a guy who had his wings delivered to him in a bag of grease and sauce. The delivery guy felt sorry for the mess and offered two little triangle cheescakes. When i got my delivery which includes wings :) guess what ? The bag was greasy and oily again full of SAUCE !. The delivery guy offered me 2 "Special" jimano's cheesecakes. I was happy with the cheescakes so opened one and took bite. It tasted like a family dollar store cheesecake with all honesty, terrible. what worse is that i experienced someone else's review haha.

I've been to Jimanos twice and gotten the thin crust once and the chicago style stuffed pizza once as well. I was far more impressed with the stuffed pizza than the thin crust, as for some reason the sauce (or perhaps the dough?) seemed to make the pizza too salty for my taste... The food has been solid both times, and I would definitely recommend it over most pizza in the area. Besides the food, I must admit that I have been very pleased with the service as well. The last time I was in, I went with my girlfriend- the pizza we ordered (I believe it was a thin crust supreme) was taking a little longer that it probably should have, and yet before my girlfriend or I had an opportunity to even think about complaining, the server apologized, bought me a beer and insisted on treating my girlfriend to a cheesecake. The pizza was good, but the service was memorable... we therefore will absolutely be returning.

This is a regular pizza hangout for our family. Have had and love the thin crust and double dough, both are delicious, but today I tried one of the sandwiches. I tried the Italian beef sandwich with cheese. OMG! Why didn't I try this sooner. Tender soft warm bread topped with mounds of seasoned thinly sliced beef. With a side of herb filled au jus to dip it in. This will continue to be our go to pizza joint, but now I will be adding sandwiches to that list.

We stumble upon this place on Valentines day (Not a fan of the typical Valentines day dining experience) and I'm glad I did. The pizza was great and the staff was super nice. The guy who made the pizza even came out to ask how we liked it. All and all a pretty cool place.

From Chicagoland to The Mile High this is the only place that has everything you could want from home(If You are a Chicagoan). A must try if you want to taste what the city has to offer.

After the first time I ate here I wanted to come back the next day to eat once again their deep dish pizza. It is my favorite pizza place in the Denver area. I'm picking up a couple pizzas for book club this week. Love the mural of the Chicago skyline with the Rocky Mountains behind it.

If your ever rolling down Broadway in your red Camero stop in for a slice. This Place is thebomb.com . The thin crust is like taking a super highway to Flavor Town. They didn't have my pick up order ready when I got there so they gave me free soda and cheese cake ( I'm a soda junkie) . This place is money. I had baked ziti once and let me say they have a P.H.D. ( pretty heavy dish). You will never leave this place hungry.

Went there for the first time to get some pizza and watch some college football. It was nice because we were the only ones there so we could turn it to whatever game we wanted. I am not sure why this place isn't more popular... The food was fantastic. We ordered wings, and their Chicken Club specialty pizza and both were so filling, but so good that we couldn't stop eating them. Give it a try- you wont be disappointed.

Excellent food!!! Great service! The bread-sticks are the best I've had and the pizza was delicious. The sauce is standard pizza sauce, nothing special, but the crust is phenomenal. Will definitely be going again!

I'm from Chicago and have been looking for good pizza in Denver. Here it is! Jimanos is SO GOOD. Better than many places in Chicago in fact! The sauce is perfectly sweet and the thin crust is crisp. Really tasty seasoning on top too. And the price was low. Even got a $5 off voucher from Yelp. I will definitely order here regularly. Very happy :)

Nothing but impressed by this location. Warm, welcoming staff. Great environment. The good is absolutely delicious. Some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. One of the best customer service experience at a restaurant. I give them two thumbs up. Want great pizza and service... Visit Jimanos!! Totally worth the 30 minute+ drive!

Friendly service. Then again I arrive when they first open. Food is decent - I dunno about Chicago-style but still pretty good pizza for Denver. I always get the daily special - slice and a drink for around $5. Sometimes I add on cheese sticks. Overall not too bad for an occasional treat.

I've been to Jimano's at least two dozen times and I've yet to receive poor service. They're nice on the phone when ordering, they offer great deals if you go to their website and print out their coupons, their employees are friendly, and the food is good. They've even offered me free fountain soda on a number of occasions. With family from Chicago, I grew up with an appreciation for Chicago style thin crust pizza. Jimano's is the only place in Colorado I can get that. The only thing I'd like to see from them is fresh cut jalapenos instead of canned pickled jalapenos as a pizza topping. It's almost as good at Mama Maria's, Nancy's, and Old Town Pizza in Chicago. I can vouch for their thin crust pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread, and bread sticks. All delicious. Leftover pizza reheats well in the oven. The only downside is the limited number of tables. Best for small parties, lunch, takeout, or delivery.

We got the Monday special thin crust with five toppings. The waiter was super nice and attentive the dinning room manger was nice and made sure that we were very well taken care off. The beer list is small but cheap 2.50 for a dales pale ale. We also got the chicken wings not a huge fan of wings anywhere but theirs was pretty good.

Wow! This place is amazing! We were walking around on Broadway and just sort of wandered in. The Wednesday night deal is a fantastic value: 14 inch pizza, app, and 2 liter for $20! That fed my partner and I for two days! The double crust is so buttery and delicious. I wish we lived closer so we could get delivery! We will definitely be back.

Really good pizza! It doesn't taste like pizza from Chicago, but it's still awesome. We got the Stuffed Pizza with Italian Sausage. Tons of cheese and delicious buttery crust. The pizza sauce is on the sweet side which I like. The only negative is that there could have been more Italian Sausage on the pizza. We ordered it online and picked it up with no issues. We'll be back!

Okay... If you haven't tried Jimano's yet... Get to it. We've become quite regular to these cats... and let me just say. I'm fairly certain they put crack in their pies.... man, I'm usually full after 2-3 pieces... however, if they brought me a 130" pizza loaded with everything, I would attempt to eat the whole thing and probably end up in the hospital, or pizza rehab. Their Mexican Thin Crust pizza is uber-tastic, well their thin crust overall is absotively full of win! Their stuffed crust could feed a small country for a year and they have great wings. Their staff is friendly and courteous. I'm definitely on board the Jimano's train!

Good Pizza. Try the thin crust which is about a half inch think and cracker style crust. It is really good and a taste of Chicago/Kansas City style pizza. Great customer service and fast carryout. Located off South Broadway before Yale St. I have yet to try the sandwiches, pastas, ribs or chicken wings!

Different people like different things. My husband loved the thin crust meat maniac; I loved the stuffed pizza with pepperoni. My husband loved that they have Bass Ale; I loved that they gave me lemon with my water. We both loved the chocolate peanut butter cup for dessert. The service was extraordinary. You order at the counter, but otherwise they wait on you and do a very good job. These are kids their parents can be proud of. I can't wait to go back and try the other styles of pizza. They have four different styles. The thin is just what you would expect. The stuffed is, from the bottom up, crust, cheese and toppings, a second crust and then sauce. It's a bit like a calzone in the shape of a pizza. The "double dough" has a braided crust, and the "deep dish" seems to be like Pizza Hut's pan pizza. As to the price point, there are coupons on their website as someone else pointed out, and their pizzas are large, so I thought the price point was fine.

This is like home for me! The pizza is thin and cut in squares. The sausage and mushroom tastes like the old neighborhood on the West side of Chicago. The deep dish reminds me of Giordano's and Edwardo's..... I could not ask for better pizza!

I like pizza and really good service. Jimanos has great pizza with even better pizza service. Ordered a pie tonight and they said it would be delivered in 40 to 50 minutes. 30 minutes later it was on my door step. Not only is their delivery service great, but so is their in house service. Everytime I go in to their store for pizza the wait staff is very prompt, polite, and efficient. Never met a hard working pizza crew as this Jimanos crew!

I get it. Denver doesn't have anything that compares to Chicago style pizza. I've finally come to grips with this. YES, I AM A PIZZA SNOB. I CAN'T HELP IT. With that said, Denver has amazing pizza joints but from here on out I will be sure to keep my hopes low in trying to find "Chicago Style" stuffed or deep dish.... I ordered Stuffed pepp/italian sausage (sauce on top) for take home and to use my Groupon before it expired. I was so excited- the aroma I had to smell the entire way back home was killing me! Get home and immediately dive into the pizza. First thing I notice is the ridiculously sized crust. I've had stuffed from all OVER the place in Chicago. Their crusts are not this big. Think Beau Jo's crust big. The sauce too. It was...tart. And missing something. The cheese wasn't oozing either. When you cut a piece the cheese should stretch. Sadly it didn't. People dining in were eating the chicago-style thin, which did look pretty good, but I had yet to find the stuffed version, so I was excited to try this but was pretty let down. I now have more than half a pizza still in my fridge and I will probably end up throwing it out. Seriously had my hopes up for this one, I will just have to wait til I am home now for the real stuff.

I'm from Illinois, I'm a huge deep dish fan, and Jimano's is awesome. The Italian Beef Crowd Pleaser in either Deep Dish (super thick crust and cheese on top) or Stuffed (crust on bottom, crust on top, sauce on top) will not let you down. One slice is enough to put me in a food coma for hours. My only gripe: more peppers, please! Don't skimp on my giardiniera; I love that stuff! These pies will set you back $20 to $25 each, but they're well worth it. A 16" can easily feed 4 people.

This place is great! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Came in for the first time, got some great recommendations. Went with the deal that he said was the best value and it was delicious! The bread sticks are referred to as "crack sticks", and that's about how addictive they are. Went with a16" 2 topping thin crust, and you can absolutely tell everything is fresh. Mushrooms were amazing and the peperoni was nothing short of perfect! We were also taken care of as far as drinks and everyone made sure our pizza was great! Amazing service right up to the last second here!

Let's start with the bad. The salad? Ridiculous. It's like five bucks, and it's basically a quarter of a diced tomato, a couple rings of onions, and a few leafs of iceberg lettuce. I make better salads with my feet, in my sleep. It does come with a bucket of dressing, so I guess that's something. Aside from that, though, everything was good, especially the employees. At a place like this, where you order at a counter and take your number to a table, you don't necessarily expect much in the way of service. But everyone, from the kid who took the order, to the "waitress," to the people cleaning up, were ridiculously friendly, and you could really tell they are proud of what they do here. We ordered a 14" veggie with chicken added on thin crust, but they upgraded us to deep dish (and 16", not sure how that happened) because they really wanted us to try what they're known for, I guess. And it was good. Not too doughy, as some deep dishes can be, and really loaded up with toppings. Unfortunately, and I won't count this against the place, the leftover pizza is not so great. Once it gets cold (and cold pizza is the ONLY way to eat leftover pizza), it does get very chewy and doughy and meh. Can't judge a place based on leftovers, but something to be aware of. Also don't expect "authentic" Chicago style deep dish, a la Giordano's. The sauce ain't on top here or anything. We also got a piece of 7 layer (5 layer? Some amount of layers) chocolate cake which was muy bueno. It IS a little pricier than I'd like it to be. They don't have a great variety of specialty pizzas, and if you're like me and you like toppings on your pie, it can add up real quick if you make your own. But overall, because the pizza was so good and loaded, and because the staff far exceeded my expectations, I'd definitely come back.

I called Jimannos 40 minutes before closing. The manager/owner/person I talked to was very awesome and allowed a delivery. I am very picky about my pizza and I just moved to Denver and have been trying a lot of places. I can now say that I have found my favorite pizza delivery place. Pizza was amazing, actually still hot, and the best I have had delivered. Also got a salad which was very fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend.

The service here is awesome! The staff are very friendly, proud of their product, and keep the place clean. It's a bit expensive for pizza, but I do like the fact that they serve beer and wine. The pizza was okay, nothing special. We got the 14" deep dish veggie pizza and it was fully loaded. There were at least 5 slices left over and the take-out box weighed at least 5lbs when loaded up. I love their garlic bread! It was full of buttery, garlicky goodness! You also get complimentary bread sticks if you dine in. Those could use some improvement, but hey, it was free. I'd like to check out their pastas and maybe a pizza puff (curious to know what that is) on my next visit.

I was craving deep dish and Jimano's delivered. Delish and so fresh. Also had fried ravioli to start...so so good. Their marinara is terrific...bright and garlicky. Cannot believe the cheap beer prices! Service (thanks, Ben!) was friendly and fast...super gracious. Will be back soon...looking forward to trying the thin crust (looked great as others were eating it) and the Italian roast beef sandwich. A new fave for our family!

I really wanted to like these guys. I live half a block away and have been looking forward to trying them out. Tonight, apparently, was the wrong night to choose. It was probably the most unorganized and frustrating "restaurant" experience I've ever had. I would have thought that I was the one fluke, but in the HOUR I was waiting for my to-go pizza, I had the privilege of witnessing them screw up everyone else's order too. The Good: * Lots of parking, and it's free * 2 really nice large flat screen TVs playing sports * Beer on Tap (but you would never know because they don't have beer or wine prices up anywhere on the menu) The Bad: * Overheard someone quoted an hour for their delivery order. Should pizza take an hour to deliver? Especially when their delivery radius is only 5 miles? * After a half hour of waiting for my pizza, they came out and said: "sorry, but they burnt it" * Once I got the pizza Round 2 home to eat, it was still burnt * Toppings were unevenly distributed, all in the center with the side pieces topped barely with cheese Unfortunately, these guys just don't have it together yet. If the food was phenomenal, I would have given them a little slack, but in the end the pizza was STILL burnt. They've only been open a week, so I'll probably give them a few months before I dare to try something else. In the end, they did write "free pizza complement" on the back of a business card and begged: "please come back," so if I run out of food and want to watch ESPN, at least it will be free.

This place makes me happy. The pizza is good, the price is right, and you can come casual. My only gripe is that they raised their drink prices and got rid of the TV.

    (4)
  • Courtney D.

It was...okay. A bit pricey for how the pizza actually came out. It ended up taking about 40 minutes for them to deliver it to us (another business) although we were on the same street, about 7 or 8 blocks away. It ended not very hot when we got it, and the crust was neither doughy like fluffy crust, or crispy like a traditional flat crust. It met somewhere in the middle...and pretty weirdly. The way they cut the pizza too, was difficult to eat. The middle pieces were soggy and have to be picked up with a fork. The only reason I am not giving it one star is because it was SOMEWHAT edible, just honestly not very good. Franks the Pizza King is far better and so much cheaper. Meh.

We ordered pizza on a Sunday night for our 6 kids and were told 45 minutes. At one hour we called and were told "it's not here." The pizza arrized an hour and a half after we ordered it, no pizza on Earth is worth waiting that long, the kids had long lost their minds and their appetities. SKIP IT unless you have all night to kill.

I am originally from NJ, so I am more steeped in the NY style of pizza. Went here with the boy and had deep dish. It was good, I agree that it was pricey - 27 bucks for a medium pizza and 2 cokes. I would go back again if I were in the neighborhood. I will have to leave it to the Chicago natives to say if it is authentic. I have had Old Chicagos (a chain) and I am not sure that I can tell too much of a difference for the price.

Jimano's was the Reader's Choice for Best Pizza so we decided to give it a try. Another Friday afternoon drive down Hampden Avenue and we located it in a quaint little neighborhood south of Denver. Being a Chicago Native, I loved the atmosphere. It was filled with Chicago sports memorabilia. It reminded me of the many little pizzerias that dot the Chicago suburban area. We ordered a 16" extra cheese and italian sausage pizza which could have fed 4, but we were starving and the two of us took down all but about 6 pieces. We loved that the pizza was cut into squares instead of the typical triangles that you would find at Little Caesar's. The pizza was outstanding, the thin crust was exactly what they stated, "signature". We couldn't stop eating it. I was very pleased and the price was about 25 bucks for two drinks and a giant pizza. Denver, take note, we don't want Beau Jo's, we want Jimano's. Don't fall for the Beau Jo buffet, take the lady out to get a decent slice of pizza and I promise you, she will get off your case about your hairy back and your purchase of yet one more bowling ball. (Google the website and print yourself out a coupon) The Reader's Choice of Westword has never let me down...yet.

This is the Colorado location of a Chicago-based chain, and they do real Chicago-style pizza here. The deep dish is pretty good, but the stuffed is fantastic. I don't know why you would bother with thin crust, but they offer it as well. You're here for giant pizza, so do it right and get the big crust. They have a good number of pre-determined combinations, and you can make your own as well, though by the time you add more than two ingredients it will be more expensive than the combos, which usually have at least four or five toppings on them. I like the Spinach Vegetarian, though on a recent order I asked for them to add chicken, which they said they would but didn't. They didn't charge me for it though, so I guess it worked out okay. Prices are a bit high for a pizza place, but you're getting a ton of good-quality food, so be aware of that. Leftovers heat up pretty well too in the oven (they recommend that you don't use a microwave, of course). So when you have the craving for real hearty Chicago-style pizza, this should be your place.

  • Kyle H.

Really good, especially for a chain. We had a groupon for this place, and decided to go out for some Chicago style pizza. To me Chicago style pizza more layered and casserole esque and less about a thicker crust NY style pizza, so I'm not really sure I'd call this pizza Chicago style, but it's pretty good. A bit pricey yes, but tasty and very filling. We usually eat a whole pizza and then some, but we only finished about 1/2 and had another meal to take home. It's not the best pizza In the Denver area, but it's pretty good and definitely above places like Pizza Hut, Pappa Johns, and Anthony's. If I lived closer, I'd certainly go more often. I'd say this is a 3.5 star place, but I'll bump it up to 4 because of the service. The guy behind the register was very nice and professional. The beer tap was broken, so he gave me half off on bottled beers. We definitely left a good tip. Will probably return at some point. Try it out if you live in the area.

We have been to and ordered delivery from Jimanos many times. We like this better than ordering from Dominos. Tonight we ordered a thin crust pizza and specifically asked them to cut the pizza into slices. Which they should do anyway, but they cut it into squares. The lady on the phone said they didn't cut their pizza into slices because they were corporate. WEIRD. But they said they would. The delivery guy came and right when we opened the door he said, "The chef messed up cutting your pizza, so we brought you 2 cheesecakes." What?!! So they knew it was wrong but sent it out anyway? I know it sounds petty but I HATE my pizza cut into squares. Not only that, when you pay $30 for a pizza, you want to get what you ordered. My husband also tipped the driver $10. Long story short, we got our money back and we probably won't be going back.

Finally tried this place after driving past it for months and was very satisfied. I am originally from just outside of Chicago and this place makes a pretty tasty stuffed crust pizza that is comparable to many of the places back home. We ordered the supreme version and it was filled with loads of fresh toppings that filled our belly's with tasty goodness. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean as a whistle. Go try this place if you are looking for some good pie.

If you know what real pizza is you'd know this is not that. The crust is flakey...and not in a good way, more like a puffed pastry type way. The food is pretty average. Unfortunately this is the best pizza place i've bene able to find in Denver which is both depressing and embarassing for all the other chains when the "best" gets just two stars. If you want good pizza the simple solution is to go to the coasts, seems you can't get good pizza in Denver.

Kinda surprised by the reviews, I'm originally from Chicago and it's nearly impossible to find pizza that even remotely resembles Chicago Style Pizza. They do a darn good job, I've gotten pizza there 3 times now, and while I feel it's a bit on the over priced side its a good pie. I haven't done delivery as I'm out of there range so can't comment on that. I have tried all 3 styles of pizza , I think the thin and the deep are the best not too sure I like the thin with the rolled edges, when I got it the edges were slightly burnt . I think the first 2 reviews were a little harsh. I did have them mess up my order the first time but a minor mistake they gave us the thin crust with rolled eges instead of regular thing crust , no big deal .

I don't understand the bad reviews. I thought this place was really good. We dined in and had a great experience. Our waitress was very attentive and we received our food pretty fast. We had an appetizer and our pizza. We had the deep dish pizza with half bacon and the other half cheese, for myself. Both sides were awesome. I liked the bacon and the cheese. I liked the fact that it wasn't over bearing with sauce like many pizzas. It had the right amount. The pizza was also an awesome leftover. I will also give kudos because they had games to play like Boggle and cards and what not. Maybe they didn't have it fully together because this place is fairly new. I will be back, fo' sho'.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I work near Jimano's and was reluctant to try it at first due to it appearing to be a sit down restaurant from the outside. One day I decided to venture in, what a good decision!! You order at the counter and sit down, they bring out your order to you. They sell individual slices, the lunch specials are great. 4$ for a giant slice and a drink, the deep dish is excellent. But the best thing on the menu in my opinion has to be the sliced italian beef sandwich with mozzarella cheese and giardineira, it is the best sandwich I've had in my life, and I loooove sandwiches. I've also tried the salads, meatball sandwich, the tuesday pasta special you cannot beat. The place is just incredibly delicious and affordable and I always spend under 10 dollars. ESPN on the big screen at all times as well.

First time at Jimano's and I was impressed. The service was extraordinary. Wife and I got the Friday special--there large 2 topping thin crust pizza, breadsticks, and 2-liter of soda. The breadsticks were some of the best I've ever had. I drank beer, and my wife had a glass of wine, so our waiter offered to send the 2-liter of soda with us when we were ready to leave. The pizza was very good--not the best I've had--but very good. We will be going back to try the deep dish pizza soon. Definitely recommend.

If we had one of these in Aurora Anthony's would be out of business. Because in the contest between deep dish and new york style deep dish wins hands down. The crust isn't thick, but the toppings are, plus every time you order a 16 or 18 inch pizza you get a 12 inch thin crust cheese pizza for the kids or picky vegetarian. It is an order at the counter type thing, but the menu they give you has immediate coupons to use that night so they aren't tracking you as a first time customer, or any kind of restricted offer. After you order you can get a beer or pop sit down either inside or out and it comes fairly fast. And my God, it comes with so much cheese you would think they were from Wisconsin. But they aren't they are a chain (boo) that is just now making it's way to the west ( Yeah). Go it is a long drive from aurora but we came back with two meals for later. and we eat a lot.

This place has NO clue what an Italian Beef sandwich is-all I got was a hugh pile of warm beef on a hoagie roll, no peppers, no juice, or giardinera. The girl at the counter who took my order did ask me if I wanted peppers, but this sandwich should come with them. Ask any Chicagoan about a real Italian Beef Sandwich.

The food here is ok, we ordered thin crust pizza with pepperoni and black olives. It was decent but nothing special and DEFINITELY not worth the price at nearly $20 for a 14" pizza. It was also odd that they cut the round pizza on a grid instead of in slices, I've never seen that ever. The guy who was serving us was very overbearing and could not read that we were not interested in the 500 suggestions he clumsily blurted out in the first 5 minutes we were there (even insisting we read the "Jimano's Story" on the paper tri-fold menu). He didn't have a personal routine for the info, it didn't have a flow and it made us feel somewhat awkward and uncomfortable. When he offered wine (keep in mind, we're here for Italian style food) he first brought only white selections and then made my friend come up behind the counter to see the red selections. After she chose, he literally filled a LARGE wine glass to within in a half inch from the top. Although the extra wine was nice, it was just odd. I ordered beer and of course the tap apparently didn't work so instead of one well-pulled beer, I got two glasses that were half head and half beer. When we were getting ready to leave he took the pizza to box it up, but never brought it back. Once I made eye contact with him (you know, a "are you getting our pizza boxed up?" look) he remembered but then brought the pizza out in two separate boxes and said "oh I split it up for you", this was just one final awkward and random thing this guy did. suggestions: 1: Train or replace the guy who says he's Argentine and seems more like Phillie from Jersey 2. Reconsider the price point, it's about 10-15% too high. 3. Ditch the order-at-the-register model and get a server. Make it a bit more personal, and more like an establishment instead of a joint, and people in the neighborhood would probably be happy to call it their favorite pizza place.

People, please understand something.... you're in Denver! Not Chicago!! I transplanted out here 10 years ago now from Chicago and I have yet to find anything that even comes close to rivaling a Lou Malnati's, or a Due's, or a Gino's, or whatever your fancy may have been out there. There was one place for the first few years that I was here that came closer to anything else (anyone remember Beniaminos? I actually knew the owner and he told me that he was friends with the son of one of the original owners of Ginos, and that he got the recipe directly from them. Whether that's true or not is left for you to speculate.), but other than that, there isn't such a thing as a real Chicago pizza out here, so please stop expecting it. I know, I know, if they're going to say "Chicago style" then you should expect Chicago style... but I'm telling you don't. You won't find it. There is something about the air out here that won't allow a real Chicago pizza to be made! Either the altitude or the lack of pollution compared to Chicago would be my guess! With that being said, Jimanos is probably the closest, still operating, "Chicago" pizza joint that I've had out here (speaking strictly on their thin crust). I've never had their deep-dish because I've always been more of a thin-crust type of guy. But if you want a good close-to Chicago style pizza, then this is as best as it gets. The service is great, the food is good, and they actually just recently lowered their prices, which deserves a star in and of itself in this economy!! Anyway, i give it 4 stars because it's the best pizza I've found out in Denver yet. I'm not giving them 5 stars because I'm saving that for the day hell freezes over and I actually do find a pizza place out here that has nailed "Chicago style" on the nose! Other than for that reason, I'm giving this place all the stars available! I'd suggest you try it!

This has one of the best pizza's I've had since getting to Denver. Jimano's is the closest I've found to pizza from Chicago. Their thin crust is to die for. Awesome taste and the sauce is one of the best around, the sausage is not preprocessed like most places around town. It's fresh sweet Italian sausage, great flavor.

This place isn't awful, dig the Chicago decor. But the food was way over priced and the service was awful. I've gone here twice, gotten two different subs, again not bad, but truly amazed when I got the check. They charge you for every little extra, no mention of it made when ordering. Also, both times I've been there the service was mediocre at best. Not a huge fan, but again, not the worst place in town.

I went there today for the first time at the recommendation of a friend. She is researching lunches under $5 and said this place has big slices on the cheap and boy was she right! I got the deep dish slice combo that comes with a soda for $4.25. That's right, $4.25. What else do you need? Today they were serving the meat lovers deep dish and it was delicious and meaty and cheesy and satisfying. The crust was nice and crisp but not overly doughy and even though there were some dark spots on the bottom, it didn't taste burned at all. The ingredients were good quality, not meat pellets like you see at so many places. They also carry thin crust for those that prefer. Really can't beat it for the price and the staff was very nice. Good job, Jimano's!

I am disgusted with this place. I called to order a pizza - was quoted 30 minutes.....seems reasonable because I live 5 blocks away. One hour later I call to ask where my order is. No apology, just a statement - the printer broke there was a mix-up. It should be there soon. How soon? Soon. I asked why no one called me to let me know after they discovered the mistake..... Was told "Well we fixed the mistake - what do you want me to do - your food is coming." one hour and ten minutes later I get my pizza and the WRONG soda - so off they go to exchange the soda. The pizza is not good, it's BAD. The crust tastes like dried out cardboard. GROSSSSSSSSSS! and the cheese is all burnt around the edges. If this i what people in Chicago eat for pizza, I am glad I do not live there. Don't waste your time and money!!!!!

Best pizza my boyfriend and I have had in CO and we have tried many many places. I'm a big fan of thin crust and they did not disappoint. Great happy hour drink specials and I can't wait for patio season so I can walk the 2 blocks from my house to enjoy some delicious pizza and beer!

If you know how Chicago style pizza is cooked this place is great! It's not NYC slice or Protos style. Its real Chicago pizza.

If you know the difference between Chicago style pizza and corporate crap, you will love this place. Clearly the bad review up above doesn't. Chicago style takes at least 30 minutes or so to make, sometimes longer for stuffed or deep dish. The thin crust is meant to be slightly burnt on the sides. This is no Pizza Hut, cookie-cutter pizza. I lived in Chicago for 10 years and this is the real deal. I met the owner and he grew up in Chicago. There was even a signed Gale Sayers' jersey right up above the register! AWESOME!!! I was a huge fan, especially after getting the pizza. You can tell these are handmade with fresh ingredients (which is rare for pizza shops anymore). They definately didn't pull this out of a freezer. I'm a huge fan, because I felt the pizza selection around town was rather anemic. This finally gives me the great enjoyment of true Chicago style pizza that I thought was only going to be found in Chicago. Many cheers and kudos. Environment was great (full Chicago regalia), service was kind and polite, and the pizza was awesome. 5 stars!

These guys really have a good thing going. I have ordered delivery from them several times and have always been impressed by their mammoth "Chicago-style" pizza. I mean, we're talking, tons of ingredients, ooey-gooey, melty, stretchy cheese, thick hearty, deep-dish crust, and the trademark, sauce-on-top, stuffed crust pizza. It wasn't until I actually visited the restaurant however, that I realized how real-deal, these guys really are. I went in about a week ago and placed an order for carryout. I was so impressed when I asked the guy at the counter, "Hey man what temp do you cook those stuffed crust pizzas?" I then, got a full lesson on the method of cooking these glorious pies. Everything from the type of yeast they use to the authentic imported ingredients directly from Chicago, and of course the oven temperature as well. I really enjoyed this conversation as I am a food enthusiast, and a pretty good home cook to boot. It was really refreshing how passionate this guy was about his craft. I was not at all begrudged for waiting a little extra time for my stuffed crust pizza. Good food takes time to cook, and now, having learned about the process, I was all the more impressed with their slower method. Other highlights included a spotlessly clean restaurant. I could see the employees washing up, and changing sanitizer buckets and just in general, maintaining a clean facility. The only thing that I've noticed a few other reviewers complain about is their prices. And yes, they are a little steep, but for such a high-end pizza, with soooo many ingredients, you have to expect to pay a little more. I mean, come on, it is a business, and they do have to turn a profit. If you were to buy all the ingredients at a grocery store, and try to duplicate their recipe's at home, it really wouldn't be that much cheaper. The guy at the counter of whom I was speaking of earlier, also informed me that their prices were going to be dropping soon, as they have recently signed onto a new food distributor that will ship directly from Chicago, and will avoid the so-called, "middle-man." This is obviously good news, and will soften the blow a little, I suppose. All in all I've had nothing but great experiences with these guys. I've always known their food was good, but it's the little things that go along way. The details, ya know.

This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had- the crunchy dry Chicago crust with extra cheese and sausage. It's a combination self-serve and service (you order at the counter and the pop is self-serve but they bring the pizza and clear your trays). It's spotless and a great spot with plenty of parking and a nice outdoor area. It's one of my favorite Sunday-lunch spots!

Having moved here from Chicago, I really missed a great deep dish pizza so I was quite delighted when I found this place. My husband ordered wings which I thought were just ok. They were sitting in a ton of greese and other liquid, but he loved them. As for the pizza, it tasted quite good. The crust isn't quite right for Chicago style deep dish pizza, but the filling and ingredients were fantastic. I'll be back and plan to simply cut off the excessive crust.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
