There was a run on the brisket before I arrived, so I had to wait 20 minutes for the next batch to come out of the cooker. For my wait time spent kicking back with a cold one and watching a game on the big screen TV, I received an extra helping of brisket and the beer was on the house. Nice!

Canned baked beans and Sysco slaw, not very original. But, the ribs were very good. Plenty of bland domestic beer available. I had water. Good service, tacky decor. Solid 3 considering its in beautiful Craig.

This is really the only BBQ type place in Craig. Small town, limited options. I get it. That being said... This is not anywhere near 'good' BBQ. The brisket is bone dry and flavorless, the ribs are dry as well, and my burger tasted like a premade frozen patty. I get that resources in this little town are slim. I do. That doesn't mean it can't be prepared well. My fries were cold both times, and our waitress was just this side of rude. I actually walked to the counter myself to ask for a refill because she didn't seem interested in checking on us, or you know... Working. We gave this place two shots. I can't do it again. I would eat here for free, but that's about it. Sorry, but it just doesn't cut it.

This place is so good! The atmosphere is awesome with a lot of really cool decor. The people that decorated it like pigs. I mostly love it because they hung up a CSU flag which is the best school of all time so anyone who does that knows a thing or two. The food is really good bbq. I have had the brisket sandwich which I loved and also the chicken breast which was good as well. You have to get the waffle fries and the potato salad. Both will leave you wanting more. One time when I went the "parrot heads" were there and a source of entertainment. I have never had the hamburger but I bet they go because it's a hamburger in paradise. Watch out for the pig on the ceiling. I don't know how it stays up there but your luck may run out if you sit under there. You have to go here when you are in Craig.

From the outside, we thought this place looked like a bar, but on the inside it was a restaurant with lots of families and fun decorations. (We sat next to this pig statue that every little kid in the restaurant came over to check out.) Food was good. Served in baskets. The pork ribs were delicious. I also really liked the cajun corn. Lots of barbecue, deep fried foods and burgers.

Good serving staff. Really friendly. Good food. Good beer. Small sports restaurant that makes you feel like home. Nice place to chiil and hangout. Tv all over smoking is outside. Little bar that has a buch of options to drink. Price is good. Not bad at all. Lots of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your meal. Thanks god this place is here. Like it!!!

For a small town bar/grill, the food was tasty (crispy buffalo chicken sandwich with jalapeños, jalapeño jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, sides; hush puppies-not bad, slaw-not bad, green beans-yummy and side salad with blue cheese)-I'm a big eater! Beer was ice cold-reasonable selection and price was friendly. Sat at the bar-staff was friendly and courteous as well as attentive. Total bill (three beers included), spent about 2 hours there watching Thursday night football game, noise level not obnoxious nor are the locals, anyway total without tip-$28.75-great value! If the food (hush puppies and slaw were better executed, for small mountain town, not a tourist resort area, I would lean towards 5 stars. This is my second visit to this place, I will come again.

Mostly disappointing. Nothing was very good, some pretty bad. The chicken wings were the best thing on the menu. I ordered them on several occasions. I asked for them well done, very well done, super well done. Hot, very hot - name it. I doesn't matter, they come out the same every time. The burger was dry and bad, fries and side mediocre at best. The Pork ribs were the worst I've had - dust dry and tasting of charcoal, a few bites was enough. When I pointed out how dry the ribs were I got a shrug and a lame answer like it can happen sometimes. I asked for coffee and got powered creamer packets, had to ask the waitress to get me some milk from the kitchen. Just avoid.

My husband and I decided to take a ride for memorial weekend and ended up in Craig. The guy at our hotel recommend JW Snacks and he was right on. We both enjoyed it. Atmosphere pleasant, food was amazing and beer was definitely ICE cold!! Can not wait to stop in again.

I'm glad we stopped here. From the outside it looked iffy but as soon as I stepped in the door I knew we made a good decision. The food was fine and the atmosphere and service were great for a quick drive by lunch

Look when they say Cajun they mean everything you order is spicy! Spicy fries, hush puppies with jalapenos in them, peppery ribs. My lips started burning about halfway through the meal. My husband and I ordered a rack of ribs to split as we didn't think that there would be enough meat on the three-rib plate on the menu. How WRONG we were! These ribs were so meaty! The bone had about an inch of succulent pork standing on top of it. They were amazing. The fries were meh - really too spicy to get any flavor out of. The hush puppies were crispy and had a great corn flavor and then the jalapeno snuck up from behind and laid down yet another pleasant burn. We stopped at the Walgreen's on the way out of town to pick up some antacid but it was SO worth it!

Great Ribs. Fall of the bone style. Meals are inexpensive but tasty and adequately portioned. I had the rib plate which was 3 ribs and two sides. The cajun corn is a must if you go there. Other items on the menu include blackened catfish, cajun fries, of note. Decor was kind of interesting. Quite new looking, and looked almost as if you are packed inside a crate. TVs and a large projector for sports watching. Service was great. Dave

Give it a try. Pretty darn good brisket and fried catfish. Service was a bit un-attentive and since they weren't busy... no excuses.

JW Snacks is, in my opinion, one of the better spots in Craig, CO. Their brisket was very good, as well as the hot wings, and ribs. Be careful with the hot wings & ribs though, as they are pretty spicy. They have a paper towel dispenser on every table because the food is that messy, so that's a nice touch. I loved the decor, and the waitstaff was always pleasant. There aren't a lot of choices for ribs & such in Moffat County, so JW Snacks was much appreciated while we lived there.

I am a local & the ribs are the best ! Everything I have ate there is pretty good. And a fun place to watch the Bronco games too.

The Cajun ausage and BBQ Brisket plates were very tasty. Worth going to if you are in Craig for a visit.

Decent food with horrible service. Our server was unfriendly and acted as if we were a bother to her. The food was average, I had the fried pork app and the brisket cheesesteak with frys. The brisket was cooked nicely and had a lot of flavor but was served in a small portion compared to the bread.

Plenty of Cajun flavor and amazing fried food and beer!

Brisket was excellent and almost large enough quantity for two. Sides also good and generous. Wait staff very quick and attentive. Went there on recommendation of friend. Great suggestion.
