I generally have pretty good luck with the lunch buffet. Great choice if you are in the area and open to trying pizza that is a little better than pizzahut or dominos.

Mountain pies! Glad they moved closer, like the new location. Went for hubby's birthday and were pretty happy. Good service, our waitress was nice. Got the lil Italy pizza, was really good. I do love their Hawaiian pizza and using honey on the braided crust! Also they have gluten free dough which a member of our family has to have and she loves! Two stars. At best. I've given this place two chances and both times, we have left pretty disappointed. The first time, about a month and a half ago, we went to celebrate my birthday. For some reason, we were crammed into the larger, banquet style room between a huge, loud, drunk obnoxious group celebrating a surprise party and a giant (literally, they took up every other table in the room) football team. I'm not sure why they thought it would be appropriate to seat a couple in this location, especially with the other room mostly open, but whatever. I could have dealt with it. But then we had horrible service. It appears that the only employees are high school kids who just don't care. We saw our server a total of twice, once to take our order and once to bring us refills. We got tired of waiting for our check (after about 20 minutes) so we walked to the register thinking they could just pull it up and the hostess was dumbfounded by our request. So we waited another 5 minutes while she tracked down our server to get our ticket. What a waste. We decided to give this location another shot 2 weeks ago with the kiddos. Service was slightly better but those servers have got to get it together. This guy pulled another disappearing act and definitely made himself scarce. The only redeeming quality is the pizza, obviously. I don't know what some of these people are on comparing Beau Jo's to Dominos. They are not even in the same realm. We usually go pretty plain though, so maybe I just haven't tried enough of the menu. Who knows. In the future, I will pass on this location and get my Beau Jo's fix in Boulder or Idaho Springs (my FAVORITE location), even though they are quite a bit farther from us than this specific location.

I love beau jo's gluten free pizzas. I only wish they made the crust thicker on it so gluten free people could enjoy the honey crust dessert. Also, it's a bit pricey for pizza. Toppings taste fresh and I like that they put the cheese on top. Sutffed mushrooms are way too greasy for my liking. The buffalo wings are great in the honey sauce.

I haven't been a Beau Jo's fan. It has taken me years to give them another try. I never liked the mountain pie with its thick and overbearing crust. I'm sure it wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me. Chewing on a thick and doughy crust dipped in honey after eating a thick and doughy pizza just never did it for me. The hubs and I decided to give them a try at their new location. I'm really glad we did. I was able to order a thinner crust pizza (aka - the prairie) that really let my choice of toppings shine. They have a great assortment of toppings to create your own, or some creative specialty pizzas to choose from as well. If you're not up for pizza, they have a boatload of sandwiches, salads, calzones and appetizers to pick from as well. If you are a vegetarian, health conscious eater or gluten intolerant, you will also find plenty of options to pick from. I thought the price was reasonable. We had two small specialty pizzas, salad bar, three beers and a soda for 30 bucks. I know I have spent way more for less food and drink at other pizza joints. The patio is awesome. It can fill up quickly on warm nights, so get there early! The parking situation kind of sucks. It's very limited. Once it's full, you're pretty much out of options - unless you're ok with parking on the other side of Wadsworth and crossing over. I feel bad for all of the businesses around here that probably constantly deal with Beau Jo's patrons parking in their private lots. I'm definitely excited to come back ~ I'm stoked that they offer a thinner crust pizza. More than likely I'll avoid the busy nights so I don't have to tangle with the parking situation.

Loved the atmosphere. Outside patio was nice. Upon the waiters arrival he was very nice and helpful. Asked if we ever been there before and explained some of the featured items on the menu. I ordered a delicious pomegranate green tea. They have a good selection for appetizers along with a nice little salad bar with decent toppings and selections. As for the main course I thought it was okay. I ordered the beaugetti which is basically spagetti in a bread bowl my partner order a all meat calzone. The pasta was a little over cooked and kind of dry along with the bread. For the calzone bread was a little dry and there were more mushrooms in the calzone then meat. With your meal they bring you a bottle of honey to put on the bread. After you put honey on it, it actually is very tasty. "Too bad you can't order just the bread and honey" my partner remarked. All together is was an okay experience with not terrible but not satisfying food.

We stopped for a snack after a nice hike and it turned into an early dinner. We each had our own small pizza and they were all very good and really filling. They also served honey to put on the thick crust and it turned into a nice dessert. The service was good everyone was friendly. We didn't have the salad bar but they filled two old free standing bathtubs with ice and served the salad on the ice. It was a nice presentation. If you are in the area, it's worth stopping by.

Service was awful, but it wasn't our server's fault. He had waaaay too many tables for one person to handle. The manager shouted out that his order was up probably 3 times, and the poor server was maybe in the bathroom, maybe filling customers' glasses, and instead of running food or finding someone else to do it, the manager stood there and yelled. The floor was a mess when we got there, but maybe they were super busy (or understaffed?) when we arrived. We got the mountain pizza, as that's what BeauJo's is known for. We spent almost $3 for pepperoni and got maybe 15 slices of pepperoni. If your claim to fame is a fat pizza overflowing with toppings, then you may want to follow through. The pizza was all crust. Sure you can drip honey on your crust for dessert, but the pizza should fill you up enough to make dessert an option. It shouldn't be necessary to fill you up after a "mountain" of a pizza. Overall- disappointing, overrated, understaffed, and poorly managed. All the BeauJo's hype must be related to another chain somewhere else.

Came here right when the buffet ended on a Friday. It was pretty empty inside. The staff was extremely friendly. We had the Pacific Pizza with wheat crust. A great alternative for a healthier meal, this was delicious and loaded with toppings. After awhile, they were going to throw away all the pizza in the buffet so they offered it to us. They also claimed that their pizza was better than the Idaho Springs location since they do less volume and can take more time with each pie. I'll try a calzone next time!

I wanted to try a Colorado-style pizza, as they call it, so I gave Beau Jo's a try. The pizza was fair. Their Shtick (i.e., what makes them unique) is the gi-normous pizza crust. They even provide you with a bottle of honey so that you can squeeze some on the crust once you've devoured the rest of the pie. I thought that was a nice touch. It was a little bland and unremarkable in every other way though. Overall the pizza just okay, nothing special. I also tried their flourless chocolate cake and found it to be very dense and a bit too rich (in price too, at nearly $8). The service was good, though a bit disinterested, and the restaurant was clean.

I'll admit, when i first went to Beau jo's in high school, I had the lunch buffet and I was utterly utterly disappointed. So much so that I refused to go back until 6 years later when my boyfriend insisted we try it since he'd never been there. We got the Cajun pizza and wow it was delicious! I loved the warm honey you can just drizzle on the mountain crust and eat like a mini dessert. I went back again with my cousins because one of them is gluten intolerant so I ate half of her gluten-free vegetarian pizza. That was pretty good but I agree the crust is weird, it's like a really hard cracker or something. I went back the next day because it was my bf's birthday he really wanted to eat there before his party. We got the Little Sicily or whatever I can't remember, something like that, and that was really good too. Both times I went with my bf our server was a cute girl named Jessica who gave us great service. She refilled our drinks a lot and checked up on us often. If any of you are interested, there's a pizza challenge where you get a humongous pizza for $75 and if you and one other person can finish it in one hour you get it for free plus bragging rights and a t-shirt.

Definitely not your average pizza. If Chicago has deep dish, New York has thin crust, then Denver has Beau Jo's as a sort of claim to fame. If you want to go to Beau Jo's, refrain from making an opinion about the overall chain until you go to the original Idaho Springs location. But since not all of us can get out that far, this Arvada location is pretty swell. You can either get the Mountain Pie, which has an immense amount of fluffy, golden crust. If you're on Atkins or otherwise don't like crust, try the Prairie pie, thin crust, which will save some green. Either way, you can dip the crust in honey once you get done with the actual pizza and toppings. My advice would be to heat the honey up a bit, if you can, so that it melts more easily. But don't leave the honey in the microwave too long. I've learned that the hard way about 916 times. Maybe more. Not a big fan of how the pizza tastes with meat. Instead, you can get a custom blend of up to four cheeses. To die for. There are lots of toppings at this western pizza joint, but trust me, four cheese, whatever cheeses you choose, will make you slap yo mama. Sorry Mama. Next time, baby powder.

My wife and I just ate their at the Arvada location Saturday night. It was packed and a long 45 minute wait but worth it. They brought out garlic cheese bread to everyone waiting a couple times which I thought was great, even turned on the heat lamp for us in the cold. Prompt service once we were seated, pizza was awesome! I would recommend the mother load 2 lb pizza for family or party of 3. Will definitely go back, be prepared to wait for a table.

I have tried 3 different pizzas from here and I have to say that getting the "plain" sort of pizza is the best way to go IMHO. The first time we went, we told them it was our first time. Our waitress was amazing! She went through the different pizzas with us, the sizes, etc. After our meal she brought us free chocolate chip cookies that were even better than the pizza. The second time we went, we got the pizza that included jalapeno peppers. I do not recommend doing that because there was about a 1/2 cup of peppers in two slices! We had a hard time eating it but chalked it up as a learning experience to not order a pizza here unless you love everything that's in it. A manager walked by out table and asked how the pizza was, my husband answered "alright". The manager then asked why it was just alright, we told him and he then offered us a free pizza to take home. We told him no thanks, it was our bad but he asked us twice more so we sort of felt like we should take him up on his offer. I have to say, the customer service at this location is amazing! Other businesses need to take a few pointers from the folks over at this location. The pizza might be just ok to a lot of people but the customer service we have received both times we were there has been amazing!

BJ's was the arm-twist "you gotta at least try it" manipulation the crowd voted on the island that day. i spent the rest of the day feeling bloated, oily, and nauseated from a bubble-gum consistency crust, and fillings that were subpar. Thanks for the beer which helped to effervesce the greasy mess through my pipes quickly. I would rather eat fishing sinkers than eat there again. In spite of its attempts at creativity in its menu, and stalwart attempts at service, there is little that will get me to part with another $80 for pizza ever again in this place. i'm a big fan of the Beau Jo's in Idaho Springs. I end up with a big group there a few times every summer and it's always a blast. The atmosphere is a big part of the enjoyment, but the pizza is always good. But what of the Arvada location? It definitely is lacking in the ambience department. The Idaho Springs location is filled to the brim with mining stuff and big spaces while the Arvada location is a pizza joint. Nothing special to be found in Arvada. Or is there? The service makes up for the lack of a fun environment. The people working there are attentive and efficient without ever being annoying. You always get refills on your soda as soon as you need them. You never want for extra napkins or another utensil. They really do service the way it should be done. The pizza is the same in both locations. They have a crazy selection of fun and interesting pizzas with lots of different sauces and crusts. I must say that I like all of them in different ways. I feel like I've had all of them at some point. I woudn't say it's a cheap meal but it's always good. The buffet will present you with pizza that is not as good as the pizza cooked to order, but that's always the case. The salad bar is pretty good and they work their butts off to keep it filled. Again with the fantastic service. I'm definitely a fan, and it's a lot closer than Idaho Springs.

Tried out Beau Jo's because they had Wi-Fi. I needed a place to work for a few hours between business meetings. I came by just after lunch time and tried out their pizza buffet. They had a large selection of different types of pizza, thin crust and thick pies. I enjoyed every style I chose, although some of the slices tasted like they'd been warmed for a while, which is the curse of any buffet...so I can't hold that against them too much. Overall, I thought it was a good value with a good selection. Needed wi-fi and could not find it at several nearby steak/burger places. Glad that I found it at a pizza place.

My favorite pizza place ever, and not just this location. I have loved every Beau Jo's I've visited. The pizza is soooooooo good, like none other. Dip the crust in honey and you will be in heaven. Big selection, gourmet ingredients, pretty good service. Oh my God, just talking about it, I want to go right now! My favorite is the mountain pie on honey whole what with tomatoes, artichokes and basil. Also a fun place for out-of-towners, because for some reason it feels very "Colorado." This location is my favorite out of all the others. It feels less crowded, more spacious, cleaner, brighter, and happier.

I am partial to the Idaho Springs Beau Jo's. We stopped at the new Beau Jo's in Arvada after a Costco run. Staff are all pleasant and very accommodating. The second visit, we were warned that rain was imminent. Chose to sit outside anyway. Inside can be noisy. Sat in a two-top that was not out in the open. We were fine. Staff kept checking to see if we were o.k. Salad bar was good and did not look "picked over." We ordered the gluten free crust and we loved it. Whenever we have people visit from out of state we make a point of introducing them to Beau Jo's, the one exception is anyone in town from the North East, they like paper with ketchup slathered on it! So anyway, we had visitors from Texas this passed weekend and so we had Beau Jo's. As usual the Mountain Pies we ordered were amazing and as usual our company was confounded by the dipping honey. We've never had a bad pie from this place and I hope that we never do. Can't wait till someone else comes to visit, maybe we can find a way to stop in even if we don't have company. I want to add that the buffet is not indicative of the quality of their pies, it seems that they make the buffet pizzas a little less than and that is disappointing.

We went here for the buffet on a Sunday night and were really disappointed. Salad bar was just ok, a server said they usually make their own ranch but the ranch tonight was store bought and I could tell. They had 5 different pizzas to choose from, I wanted pepperoni and got the last piece. We sat there for 30 more minutes and no more pizza got brought out. They were down to 1 cheese pizza that had been sitting under the hot lights for 45 minutes by the time we gave up and left. The server also didn't know if they had wine when I asked and went to the back, came back and said they would have to open a bottle just for me. Really?? This visit was totally sub par. We won't be going back.

They've got a sweet salad bar and usually have several varieties of pizza, including desert. I like the meat lovers, the GF goes for the veggies. I learned about Beau Jo's from several websites claiming their gluten free pizza was very good and the mountain pies were delicious. I went with a group and we all enjoyed out meal. Most people in the group got the lunch buffet and tried several types of pizza. We learned about putting honey on the edge of your mountain pie crust. I had never heard of that before but my fellow diners enjoyed it. I ordered the veggie lite pizza with a gluten free crust. It was good. The crust has fairly crisp, which has been a complaint of previous gluten free crust experiences. I had some the next morning for breakfast and the crust was pretty dry, but I won't hold that against the pizza. The pizza was okay. We all enjoyed and ate it, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I'd go again if others in my group wanted to go.

I went to Beau Jo's to try out their gluten free pizza. I'm new at the gluten free thing so I tried to keep my expectations low. Pizza, however is one of my favorite foods. I dunno, it just didn't hit the spot, or did it? I was just getting over the nasty flu when we decided to have a hot meal for once and pizza was on my given. My FH selected BJ's b/c I had never had it before and this was the closest location. First of all, Sat nights are busy, as with any other dining establishment. Go figure. We waited about 20 min for a table in a very packed, loud, but not a fun loud, HOT environment. I don't know if the heater was on blast or if it was all the body heat or what, but it was a sauna in that packed place. Ok, so now on to the food and service. Our server was great, she was working her tail off, but managed to keep us and others happy all while having sweat nearly drip off her forehead. We opted out of the salad/pizza bar option as it looked small, nearly empty and boring. There were greens and pizza, but nothing that looked good. So we decided to order a pizza by the lb. As their menu has tons of specialty pizza, i.e. little cicly, skier mike's and cajun, just to name a few that stuck in my head, we decided to stick with something familiar and choose the hamburger combo - meat and a few veggies. Most pizza is sold by the pound/per person serving, not unreasonably high, or you can build your own pizza. They have calzones, spaghetti bowls, skillets and appetizers too. We just stuck to plain ol pizza. Our pizza arrived in fashionable time, piled high with ingredients and thick hearty crust (we choose wheat bread for the dough) with a side of honey. I like that they give you honey with your pizza, it's like a dessert. Eat a little crust with honey afterwards - yumm! Yet, the dough reminded me of eating a honey cinnamon roll from Texas Roadhouse (before I put the honey on) as it was a little sweet to begin with. Anyhow, after all was said and eaten, I felt like they rushed the pizza. It lacked sauce. I don't like sauce dripping everywhere, but I like pizza sauce and this pizza was a little dry, had a ton of innerds - meat and veggies piled high, lacked cheese as it was just sprinkled on top to melt just right and quickly and the bread was sweet. I don't know, maybe it was my taste buds, but it wasn't that great. Oh, well. I think I'll continue to pay $5 instead of $19 (2lb pizza) around the corner from my house. They give me more cheese for my $.

I'm pretty fond of Beau Jo's Pizza, though have always found the one in Idaho Springs to be consistently better. The pizza buffet here is all right, but the turnover rate for the pizzas is low because there just aren't enough people for them to continually put pizza out. If you were to go here, go ahead and order a pizza so at least you know it's fresh. They do serve the same Mountain Pie which is essentially a thin crust pizza surrounded by a pound or two of crust. This is supposed to then be smothered by honey and makes for a kind of a dessert combined with dinner. They offer a lot of variations including white or wheat crust, gluten free, and tofu topping. I haven't tried anything but the wheat, but that was pretty good. So if you really really aren't fond of crust, order the normal pizza.

So I tried this place primarily because it was featured on a "man vs food" episode. The guy got a 14 lb "mountain pie" pizza and it looked really good! Well, it was ok pizza, but the mountain pies are a bit too bready on the crust. I'm not really digging the whole honey dipping crust tradition either. If you're looking for a casual and new experience (14 pound giant pizza), it's worth trying out. But if you're looking for a really good pizza, you will be disappointed.

I am in love with this place. We got a "mountain pie" with a bunch of toppings, and it was hot and tasty. The honey bottle you get with your pizza to squirt all over your crust is an excellent idea, and tastes great. The salad bar works well enough for a small salad bar. The only thing to watch out for here is be careful as you add on toppings to your pizza, because the price definitely adds up!

Beau Jo's has won me over to Colorado style pizza. At first I was reluctant to try a new thicker style of pizza. I always tend to prefer the thin crust St. Louis style pizza that I grew up on. However, Beau Jo's has fantastic tasting crust that you can even dip into honey for dessert (a Colorado tradition I've learned) and it makes for an overall awesome pizza experience! I like that the crust is only thick at the very edge so even if you prefer thinner crust pizza, you mostly get that until the end. Afterward, the edge crust can be eaten more like a bread stick. The best part is that they have amazing vegan cheese options that even non-veggies will eat. My only suggestion would be to get more veggie meat options like soy sausage. I know I love a restaurant when it becomes one of my cravings and Beau Jo's has become that. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service is excellent. This place rocks!

I use to be a regular customer here, however I went a few years back and it was my last trip. The service was great up until we were ready to leave. From the time we got our bill to the time we left was over an hour which was ridiculous. Our waitress was either smoking out back, they couldn't find her or she was ready to end her shift! We had to ask for a TO-GO box three times and had to walk up to the front for them to run our credit card!!! We ended up giving her a 2.00 tip because we we're so pissed at this point. When I got my Credit Card statement a month later, the waitress had added a "1" in front to give herself a 12.00 tip!! They refunded my money back, but they handled it very bad and didn't even apologize.

This is one of my favorite local places and we take all of our out of town guests here to introduce them to 'Mountain Pie'. First, the mountain pie has an amazing crust. The edges are about 2 inches high and crusty on the outside, tender and puffy on the inside. A bottle of honey is on the table and most patrons eat the middle section and save the crusts to eat with honey. Second, the menu of specialty pies is lengthy. They put everything and every combination of stuff on a pie. They have pies that substitute basil pesto, green chile sauce, bbq sauce and a bunch of other sauces instead of standard tomato sauce and the list of toppings is endless. Lastly, the sizes here are based on weight. 1lb, 2lb, 3lb. The 3lb sounds horrible and huge but order it, you will want to take home some for later. They serve Tomyknocker beer which is brewed in Idaho Springs and is pretty good. The prices for a pie are pretty reasonable for what you get. They have specials daily and have a pizza bar/salad bar combo in the day time. Go, experience the mountain pie :)

I came here with a few friends and we got a couple different pizzas. I had the BBQ pie with the honey whole wheat crust. There were bottles of honey on the table and I was very confused as to what to do with them. The waitress told me that I could dip the crusts in them, and I thought, well that's strange. It turned out being delicious! I love whole wheat crusts because they are filling and have a good bite to them. The pizza was very good and I even tried a couple of slices from the other pizza's on the table. My friend's mom is gluten free and so she wanted to try the gluten free pizza so that she could see if she could bring her mom to Beau Jo's. It was interesting to say the least, but I was very impressed that they tried to cater to people with certain restrictions. This place is close by and definitely worth trying again! I know that they have a buffet of some sort, and maybe next time I'll give that a shot.

I kind of feel that this pizza has little to do with Italian pizza. The crust is more like a good bread dough than a pizza crust. But having said that, I must admit that I like the Beau Jo pies. It makes me feel like I'm eating a health food pie. The toppings are fresh and plentiful and the whole wheat pie has a decent yeasty flavor with a too thick crust that requires you to perform the sacrilege of pouring honey on the unadorned hunk of bread that remains once the toppings are gone. Sometimes the proximity effect kicks in and when you're hurting for a pizza fix and decent and close is good enough.

Well Colorado certainly maximizes its pizza eating experience. The Colorado-style pizza crust is meant to be eaten with delicious honey- essentially dessert at the end of every slice. GEEEENIUS. Customized turkey pepperoni pizza was quite good. Also very kid friendly. Our server was cool about weird kid-related requests. Will definitely stop here again on our next trip!

Came here on vacation with my family; we ordered a 5lb Dude Ranch pie, which consists of chicken, bacon, tomatoes, ranch, and cheese, and a 1lb Vegetarian pie for my sister. The pizza was divine, what really stood out was the crust drizzled in honey, this is pretty much dessert built in to the dinner. The atmosphere was excellent, we ate outside on a beautiful night and there was a band playing. Service was fine and although the wait was fairly long, it was well worth every minute. Come here, get the dude ranch pie, and never regret anything in your life again.

Good food - went with my three younger boys and the server was so patient and kind every time I requested more napkins or Anything. He kept the drinks full. I wish I would've remembered my receipt or got his name because it's probably the best service I've had in a long time. Now, we arrived just after the dinner rush and I feel it took way too long to get our food. They may need to look into getting more piZza ovens or something. My son ordered the kids Mac and cheese and I was disappointed to find out it was comparable to Kraft boxed Mac and cheese. The only difference was it cost $5! It also came with a fruit cup. I felt the price for that was incredibly ridiculous. At least put some fresh fruit on the plate from the salad bar!! Overall a good experience and will go back, but I won't let my son order the Mac and cheese!

Pizza has some potential, but from someone who is used to Chicago deep dish, this just didn't cut it for me. The crust has a decent amount of flavor and although I'm not a big honey guy, I would recommend adding it to the crust as a dessert. The sauce needs some work, it's too watery and lacks consistency. Adding higher quality ingredients (meats) would bring this pizza up a huge notch and for the price you pay, I can't imagine that it would raise food cost too much. Overall, it's okay and I would eat it again if I had to, but wouldn't be my first choice. Side note: the house pale ale was very good, I do recommend having a beer or two if there.

Our family loves it here. I used to go to bea jo's many, many years ago in high school. And I was so excited when I moved back here 15 years later to find out bea jo's is still around. Of course I'll always have an attachment to the one in Idaho Springs, yet this one is just as delicious. We had a hard time deciding how much to order for the 5 of us but we've got it down now. We're totally in love with the thick style pizza. Dip the crust in their honey & I'm in heaven. Their all you can eat salad bar is a favorite among the kids (and adults). The veggies are fresh & good. We ordered chicken wings for the first time, I don't care for hot wings but the 2 in our group that do devoured them. I've only ever gotten take out from Beau Jo's, but it's delish! I love that they have heir gluten free and dairy free pizza options for my picky friends. Oh yeah... very good experience. I had never been here before today. We rolled in around 6pm on a Saturday. The place was crowded, but we were seated immediately. They had some impressive draft beer selections... icy, frosted mugs really hit the spot. I also like that you can enjoy the beer in a 22 ounce serving. The pizza was really good. Not sure I will ever be back!!!! I had lunch here this past Friday. We got the lunch buffet. I've had the food here before and enjoy the pizza. The best part is the honey on the dough at the end. I love the fact that I'm supporting a local Colorado grown business and have supported them since they where in north Wadsworth where the chic filet is now. I seen something that made me think wow this employee really just doesn't care. I went up to get a piece of pizza and there was this huge horse fly crawling all over the last three pieces of pepperoni pizza. I immediately called over one of the cooks ( the tall skinny kid wearing his hat backwards) and said excuse me you just had this fly crawling all over these pieces of pizza, just then the fly returned and continued to crawl over them. At this the guy waived his hand at the fly to get off. And then went to walk away. I said again that fly was all over these pizzas and pushed the board towards him as to help with what I wanted him to do (which was take the pizzas out of the buffet). He took them and I was like wow would this kid would of ate those pizzas or did he just not care because it wasn't him? Really disappointed but what happened next has caused me to question if I will ever go back. He put the three pieces of pizza back out as soon as I walked away!!!!!!!!!!! Is this managements fault or just one lazy kid. What else is going on in the back? Not sure I will be back.

I guess I just don't get what the big deal is about this place. I don't mind spending a lot of money for awesome food and I'm no food snob either. We went to Beau Jo's knowing it was pricey...but heard it was worth it. The service...pretty depressing. The interior...blah and the carpet floor was stained and dirty. The salad bar...very standard and totally not worth the $5 add on to your meal. The hot wings...how do you justify charging $15 for 12 wings that are just like any other places wings? The pizza...seriously, there is nothing right about paying over $30 for a pizza (that was about the size of a typical medium at any other place) that just didn't deliver on the flavor factor. I was expecting to be blown away by this awesome pizza. Instead ($80 later) I walked out feeling like I just got ripped off.

My Favorite Part about Beau Jo's fine dinning establishment is the feeling of satisfaction you get from their Magical Salad Bar. Now most people are not as lucky as I. Their taste buds get to only experience the delectable smorgasbord of greens and accessories uno times. Myself on thee other hand got to Enjoy my salad at least 3 times, I only had to wait 8 hours, and it all happened from the comforts of kneeling over my porcelain lazy boy at 5 am in the morning. Now some may get saddened or even upset at the violent spray of chewed cucumbers, lettuce, goldfish, and tomatoes being Shotgun Blasted out of their esophagus at 100 mph encrusting the back wall of their American Standard Mega Flush 300 with a pastel orange waterfall Masterpiece of stomach bile. Or the they may have some slight discomfort in their "mountain pie hole" from a robust flavor left by their very own batch of stomach acid mixed with a nice texture of a half digested vegetable garden. Or the the strong nostril thrusts it takes to blow the bits and pieces of sharpened carrot, that took a detour from the Vomit Highway and GPS'd them selves directly to the septum. But I tell you this my friends, Mondays usually suck and it can be difficult to wake up with motivation to start your week. With the help of Beau Jo's I woke up extra early and am ready to fuck Monday Up worse then the Back Wall of my Mega Flush 300. If I do head into work today I can't wait to see the excitement of my coworkers as I show off my new Powder White Pale Skin, bloodshot, broken blood vessel eyes, deviated septum, bad breath, and genuinely depressed new look. The only thing missing to make this dinning experience more magical then a Disney On Ice musical is a mild case of diarrhea. Anddddd Wait for it........... Wait for it..........There it is Yay Beau Jo's changing lives and making difficult Mondays mornings a little less of a struggle. Update: Not that mad at Beau Jo's anymore. I did have to Call into work sick you big buttholes. But I Went straight to Boob Tube Mode and commenced operation start feeling less shitty. Mountain Pies. Prairie Pies. Sounds more like something you don't want to step in while hiking than a pizza. But, Beau Jo's has elevated the pizza universe by creating a colossal, hearty and a hand-rolled edge (seriously, you could do 50/50 axel grinds on these edges) pizza crust which can hold a dump truck load full of ingredients. Plus, the crust doubles as a breaded Sopapilla...just ask for honey. Ordering a pizza at Beau Jo's is like ordering from Amazon, pick a style (Mountain, Prairie, Gluten-Free), now add to your shopping cart the crust (Honey White, Honey Whole Wheat, Gluten-Free), don't check out yet, add your sauce (numerous) then your ingredients (one short of infinity) cheeses and herbs.... Beau Jo's really does a great job of celebrating the Gluten-Free lifestyle, with pizza, beer and sandwiches. Plus, they have their own GF day (Wednesdays) and when you order any wheat free pizza or sandwich, you get a free trip to the salad bar. I would have expected the atmosphere (of this location) to be more mountainous, warm...not so bright, open and "uncozy," which is why it didn't get one more star.

What a great night. I took my family and in-laws to Beau Jo's on a Friday night to say thanks for watching the kids and I wanted to treat them to a nice night out. I was a little skeptical that Beau Jo's would be able to provide that kind of experience I was looking for but the kids convinced the Grandparents that they should go out for pizza. When we got there the wait looked like it was going to be a good 15 minutes before we could get in, but to my surprise they said we have a table that would fit you nicely if you're willing to eat outside. We said sure and we were just a few tables away from the live music which really added to the atmosphere. The place was packed busy so I figured I would have to wait for our pizza, which was something I was dreading because I was ready to eat. I totally imagined the kitchen just being backed up and was prepared to apologize for my grumbling stomach. But that didn't happen because our waiter was prompt, got our drinks and appetizers out within minutes of ordering, and with perfect timing as soon as our appetizers were finished our Pizzas were fresh, hot and sitting in front of us. The weather was perfect, we got to see the sun setting behind the mountains while listening to enjoyable music. Speaking of the live music my 2 year old and 4 year old wanted to get up and close to the band, and they even played a few kid songs in between the modern hits. Great fun, good food, and a very enjoyable night. It was like everything worked out perfectly and it turned out to be one of the best nights out to a restaurant I've had in the last few years. Good job Beau Jo's! Don't let me down next time ;)

Meh, not bad but the not best, I've ordered a typical pepperoni pizza. I always said if you can make a typical pizza taste phenomenal then your allowed to make different flavors. I was expecting more but too many choices or sauces and they charged per the pound. I just wanted a typical pizza but the waitress kept hounding me to try this or this. This place reminded me of the bland Midwest restaurants which they take their ethnic food's to a satisfying level for the bland masses. What I'm saying is that most of the customers probably say their second favorite pizza is a national chain store pizza joint. This place is good but I was expecting WOW but sadly I didn't. I'll go back and keep trying new flavors.

So I love love love the other two locations on Colorado Blvd and in Idaho Springs, but this one was disappointing in the service aspect. The food was amazing as usual which is why it gets three stars. The service was strange and not what in used to at this restaurant. The waiter was goofy and not really professional as well as the other people working. There was a former employee eating there and they started a conversation right at the salad bar blocking our way. So, it's my birthday and I ordered a pizza from here. On the website it's a bit hard to tell which pizza is named what, so I ordered the wrong pizza. After going home and realizing it wasn't correct, I called them and even though we figured out that it was sort of my own fault that I'd ordered the wrong thing, they were super nice and made me another pizza (the one I'd intended to order). We just went and picked it up and everyone was super nice and friendly about the mix up. I really appreciated their kindness in what could have been an otherwise not fun situation. After picking up a few times I finally was able to make it into Beau Jo's for some food and drinks on their great patio. It always looked like a good place to enjoy a cold one or four, as well as something to nosh on. It was a late Thursday afternoon a couple of weeks back and neither of us had had lunch so we split some wings and a sandwich. The pizza is always good but we weren't really in a mood for one that day. The sweet and spicy wings were decent enough, even if the wings seemed to be from super sized chickens. Either I'm getting smaller or most of the wings I order are getting bigger. We split the Italian Turkey sandwich, along with the bag of chips that came on the side. It had Turkey breast, salami, pepperoni, roma tomatoes, basil, Italian dressing and smoked provolone cheese. We got served it warm, and both of us really liked it. Good combination of flavors! The beer selection is pretty good, along with the service. If you're looking for a spot on a patio consider giving it a try!

I finally made it to Beau Jo's a few weeks back to try their happy hour. I'd eaten there once before and honestly didn't have a strong opinion one way or the other. On a cold Sunday night, we made our way over to grab some dinner and a couple drinks. We opted to sit at the bar, and took a look at the happy hour menu. They have some good deals! We went with some wings to start, and then split an individual prairie pie. It was just enough food without being too filling. The individual pizzas start at 4.99 at happy hour. Of course this isn't the best traditional pizza, but on that cold icy night it tasted really good! The happy hour prices are beyond decent - I had 3 glasses of house Pinot Grigio for $3 each, and he had a couple of 22 oz beers for $4 each. I'll gladly go back for $3 wine and $5 pizza!

This location is way nicer than the dingy old location further up Wadsworth. Their food quality seems better, as well. A little pricier than your average pizza joint, but the quality is good, and the toppings are fresh. Service is also very friendly and accommodating. They have a lunch buffet, which is a good deal, and they also have a small happy hour menu, which includes pizzas, apps, and drinks. It's also very convenient for us, since I live and work in Arvada. Oh, and we saw Joe Biden and his wife here accidentally, right before the last election. It was a surprise, nobody knew they were coming, but it was a nice surprise. Not one that's likely to be repeated, but cool nonetheless.

First time trying Beau Jo's but I've heard stories and seen it on Man vs Food. The pizza was just ok...I believe the crust was baked first and then they put the fillings in there. What that meant was the center of our pizza wasn't hot. Our server (Lance I think?) was so super nice and gave us a free, fresh baked chocolate chip cookie for being first timers.

Wow amazing can not believe there is not a five star rating from everyone. I must return and make sure I am not going overboard but this was one of the finest pizza to touch my palate. And let me assure you I have had many a unique and delicious pizza in my four decades of existence. To me it always comes down to the sauce and the sauce was awesome wait for it awesome. Perfect flavor not overpowering and very fresh. The toppings were yummy and the right amount more is better but the thicker the toppings the less likely you are to taste the crust and this crust is to die for just unreal how good the dough is I being from the SFBAYAREA am sort a sourdough snob and know how water mineral content makes the difference with killer beard or in this case dough which was priceless. The cheese was grand and hold my self to 2 pieces was very hard I will be back and test my reviw against another pie but come on this is A plus pizza heaven all the way I did have the hamburger pizza sans green bell peppers by the way with the mountain pie set up Live tune on Saturday night

I have been frequenting Beau Jo's for years! The main driver for me is that one of the individuals in my party has a severe allergy to milk and egg, and Beau Jo's is one of the few places [that I know of] that will make a full dairy free pizza! I enjoy the restaurant in Arvada in particular because of its large patio. This restaurant is the latest location (moved from 80th and Wadsworth) to join Beau Jo's. For those who are not interested in the dairy free offerings, Beau Jo's makes one of the better pizzas in Colorado. The Mountain Crust is a carb lovers dream! Combined with the fresh honey, the crust won't be left behind. I have had some of Beau Jo's other offerings such as their sandwiches and pastas, and can confirm that they are on par with their pizzas!

If I could give this place half a star I would. Or no stars. The food quality was on par with Domino's Pizza but they charge upscale prices. My friend and I went for lunch and the server left us sitting for 20 minutes before even coming over to get a drink order when the restaurant was nearly empty. After eating our mediocre food we were left sitting again for another 20 minutes for the server to come see if we wanted anything else or the check. We finally ended up going up to the host stand and asking for our check. The only good thing about this place is the level of cleanliness. Next time I'll save myself the $30 I spent to feed 2 people lunch and go to Jack-In-The-Box and get about the same quality food for half the price.

This place just moved from north Arvada to south Arvada. We had the half Skier Mike/half Hawaiian pizza. It was great! It's always a treat to get great service and be in the company of friends and family too. I can't wait till the weather is perfect and we can sit out on the patio with a pitcher of cold beer, pizza, and honey for the crusts! What could be better??

I love pizza... If only it was mutual. Pizza doesn't love me. I love that this place is newer and nicer than the previous location. The pizza though is hit and miss though. I generally have pretty good luck with the lunch buffet. Great choice if you are in the area and open to trying pizza that is a little better than pizzahut or dominos.

Mountain pies! Glad they moved closer, like the new location. Went for hubby's birthday and were pretty happy. Good service, our waitress was nice. Got the lil Italy pizza, was really good. I almost gave it 3 stars comparing it to other pizza places but it is a different type of pizza so hard to compare honestly. Overall I like it but have come to like a thinner crispier pizza better. I do love their Hawaiian pizza and using honey on the braided crust! Also they have gluten free dough which a member of our family has to have and she loves! They have a ground beef pizza that is very good as well. My out of town Italian family was not as big of a fan.

Two stars. At best. I've given this place two chances and both times, we have left pretty disappointed. The first time, about a month and a half ago, we went to celebrate my birthday. For some reason, we were crammed into the larger, banquet style room between a huge, loud, drunk obnoxious group celebrating a surprise party and a giant (literally, they took up every other table in the room) football team. I'm not sure why they thought it would be appropriate to seat a couple in this location, especially with the other room mostly open, but whatever. I could have dealt with it. But then we had horrible service. It appears that the only employees are high school kids who just don't care. We saw our server a total of twice, once to take our order and once to bring us refills. We got tired of waiting for our check (after about 20 minutes) so we walked to the register thinking they could just pull it up and the hostess was dumbfounded by our request. So we waited another 5 minutes while she tracked down our server to get our ticket. What a waste. We decided to give this location another shot 2 weeks ago with the kiddos. Service was slightly better but those servers have got to get it together. This guy pulled another disappearing act and definitely made himself scarce. The only redeeming quality is the pizza, obviously. I don't know what some of these people are on comparing Beau Jo's to Dominos. They are not even in the same realm. We usually go pretty plain though, so maybe I just haven't tried enough of the menu. Who knows. In the future, I will pass on this location and get my Beau Jo's fix in Boulder or Idaho Springs (my FAVORITE location), even though they are quite a bit farther from us than this specific location.

Sat at the bar and had a great time chatting with Leah the bar tender, Zak the manager thanked me for my military service on this Veterans Day and gave me a discount. Very classy Beau Jo's, the hostess people were very nice also sorry I didn't catch a name. No name tags!

I love beau jo's gluten free pizzas. I only wish they made the crust thicker on it so gluten free people could enjoy the honey crust dessert. Also, it's a bit pricey for pizza. Toppings taste fresh and I like that they put the cheese on top. Sutffed mushrooms are way too greasy for my liking. The buffalo wings are great in the honey sauce.

Wonderful place! Lunch buffet is phenomenal. Pizza crust like you will have no where else. The secret is they use honey in their recipe. The place is very clean and down to earth. Great food! Great people! I am a fan and will visit every year on our annual ski trip. Bonus: Souvenir pizza cutters/spatulas at front door. Kids love it!

I haven't been a Beau Jo's fan. It has taken me years to give them another try. I never liked the mountain pie with its thick and overbearing crust. I'm sure it wasn't bad, it just wasn't for me. Chewing on a thick and doughy crust dipped in honey after eating a thick and doughy pizza just never did it for me. The hubs and I decided to give them a try at their new location. I'm really glad we did. I was able to order a thinner crust pizza (aka - the prairie) that really let my choice of toppings shine. They have a great assortment of toppings to create your own, or some creative specialty pizzas to choose from as well. If you're not up for pizza, they have a boatload of sandwiches, salads, calzones and appetizers to pick from as well. If you are a vegetarian, health conscious eater or gluten intolerant, you will also find plenty of options to pick from. I thought the price was reasonable. We had two small specialty pizzas, salad bar, three beers and a soda for 30 bucks. I know I have spent way more for less food and drink at other pizza joints. The patio is awesome. It can fill up quickly on warm nights, so get there early! The parking situation kind of sucks. It's very limited. Once it's full, you're pretty much out of options - unless you're ok with parking on the other side of Wadsworth and crossing over. I feel bad for all of the businesses around here that probably constantly deal with Beau Jo's patrons parking in their private lots. I'm definitely excited to come back ~ I'm stoked that they offer a thinner crust pizza. More than likely I'll avoid the busy nights so I don't have to tangle with the parking situation.

Loved the atmosphere. Outside patio was nice. Upon the waiters arrival he was very nice and helpful. Asked if we ever been there before and explained some of the featured items on the menu. I ordered a delicious pomegranate green tea. They have a good selection for appetizers along with a nice little salad bar with decent toppings and selections. As for the main course I thought it was okay. I ordered the beaugetti which is basically spagetti in a bread bowl my partner order a all meat calzone. The pasta was a little over cooked and kind of dry along with the bread. For the calzone bread was a little dry and there were more mushrooms in the calzone then meat. With your meal they bring you a bottle of honey to put on the bread. After you put honey on it, it actually is very tasty. "Too bad you can't order just the bread and honey" my partner remarked. All together is was an okay experience with not terrible but not satisfying food.

My wife and I have eaten here more often since switching our diet to gluten free. They have a wide variety of options meeting our needs and the food is always delicious. Also, a very nice job on the new branding after the move down Wadsworth.

We stopped for a snack after a nice hike and it turned into an early dinner. We each had our own small pizza and they were all very good and really filling. They also served honey to put on the thick crust and it turned into a nice dessert. The service was good everyone was friendly. We didn't have the salad bar but they filled two old free standing bathtubs with ice and served the salad on the ice. It was a nice presentation. If you are in the area, it's worth stopping by.

Service was awful, but it wasn't our server's fault. He had waaaay too many tables for one person to handle. The manager shouted out that his order was up probably 3 times, and the poor server was maybe in the bathroom, maybe filling customers' glasses, and instead of running food or finding someone else to do it, the manager stood there and yelled. The floor was a mess when we got there, but maybe they were super busy (or understaffed?) when we arrived. We got the mountain pizza, as that's what BeauJo's is known for. We spent almost $3 for pepperoni and got maybe 15 slices of pepperoni. If your claim to fame is a fat pizza overflowing with toppings, then you may want to follow through. The pizza was all crust. Sure you can drip honey on your crust for dessert, but the pizza should fill you up enough to make dessert an option. It shouldn't be necessary to fill you up after a "mountain" of a pizza. Overall- disappointing, overrated, understaffed, and poorly managed. All the BeauJo's hype must be related to another chain somewhere else.

Came here right when the buffet ended on a Friday. It was pretty empty inside. The staff was extremely friendly. We had the Pacific Pizza with wheat crust. A great alternative for a healthier meal, this was delicious and loaded with toppings. After awhile, they were going to throw away all the pizza in the buffet so they offered it to us. They also claimed that their pizza was better than the Idaho Springs location since they do less volume and can take more time with each pie. I'll try a calzone next time!

I wanted to try a Colorado-style pizza, as they call it, so I gave Beau Jo's a try. The pizza was fair. Their Shtick (i.e., what makes them unique) is the gi-normous pizza crust. They even provide you with a bottle of honey so that you can squeeze some on the crust once you've devoured the rest of the pie. I thought that was a nice touch. It was a little bland and unremarkable in every other way though. Overall the pizza just okay, nothing special. I also tried their flourless chocolate cake and found it to be very dense and a bit too rich (in price too, at nearly $8). The service was good, though a bit disinterested, and the restaurant was clean.

I'll admit, when i first went to Beau jo's in high school, I had the lunch buffet and I was utterly utterly disappointed. So much so that I refused to go back until 6 years later when my boyfriend insisted we try it since he'd never been there. We got the Cajun pizza and wow it was delicious! I loved the warm honey you can just drizzle on the mountain crust and eat like a mini dessert. I went back again with my cousins because one of them is gluten intolerant so I ate half of her gluten-free vegetarian pizza. That was pretty good but I agree the crust is weird, it's like a really hard cracker or something. I went back the next day because it was my bf's birthday he really wanted to eat there before his party. We got the Little Sicily or whatever I can't remember, something like that, and that was really good too. Both times I went with my bf our server was a cute girl named Jessica who gave us great service. She refilled our drinks a lot and checked up on us often. If any of you are interested, there's a pizza challenge where you get a humongous pizza for $75 and if you and one other person can finish it in one hour you get it for free plus bragging rights and a t-shirt.

Definitely not your average pizza. If Chicago has deep dish, New York has thin crust, then Denver has Beau Jo's as a sort of claim to fame. If you want to go to Beau Jo's, refrain from making an opinion about the overall chain until you go to the original Idaho Springs location. But since not all of us can get out that far, this Arvada location is pretty swell. You can either get the Mountain Pie, which has an immense amount of fluffy, golden crust. If you're on Atkins or otherwise don't like crust, try the Prairie pie, thin crust, which will save some green. Either way, you can dip the crust in honey once you get done with the actual pizza and toppings. My advice would be to heat the honey up a bit, if you can, so that it melts more easily. But don't leave the honey in the microwave too long. I've learned that the hard way about 916 times. Maybe more. Not a big fan of how the pizza tastes with meat. Instead, you can get a custom blend of up to four cheeses. To die for. There are lots of toppings at this western pizza joint, but trust me, four cheese, whatever cheeses you choose, will make you slap yo mama. Sorry Mama. Next time, baby powder.

Pizza was great, bartender (Nicole) was terrible. She brought us a pitcher of Bud Light that was FLAT! She argued with us, changed the keg, brought us a new pitcher and charged us for both of them. She fails to remember that old beer is in the line. As long as she is there we will not be back.

My wife and I just ate their at the Arvada location Saturday night. It was packed and a long 45 minute wait but worth it. They brought out garlic cheese bread to everyone waiting a couple times which I thought was great, even turned on the heat lamp for us in the cold. Prompt service once we were seated, pizza was awesome! I would recommend the mother load 2 lb pizza for family or party of 3. Will definitely go back, be prepared to wait for a table.

I have tried 3 different pizzas from here and I have to say that getting the "plain" sort of pizza is the best way to go IMHO. The first time we went, we told them it was our first time. Our waitress was amazing! She went through the different pizzas with us, the sizes, etc. After our meal she brought us free chocolate chip cookies that were even better than the pizza. The second time we went, we got the pizza that included jalapeno peppers. I do not recommend doing that because there was about a 1/2 cup of peppers in two slices! We had a hard time eating it but chalked it up as a learning experience to not order a pizza here unless you love everything that's in it. A manager walked by out table and asked how the pizza was, my husband answered "alright". The manager then asked why it was just alright, we told him and he then offered us a free pizza to take home. We told him no thanks, it was our bad but he asked us twice more so we sort of felt like we should take him up on his offer. I have to say, the customer service at this location is amazing! Other businesses need to take a few pointers from the folks over at this location. The pizza might be just ok to a lot of people but the customer service we have received both times we were there has been amazing!

Beau Jo's pizza doesn't pop in my head when I immediately think of having pizza, but if you go you will probably be impressed with the variety of pizzas that they have on their menu. If you can't find something you like, then something is wrong with you. I also like that some pizzas come in a thinner crust or whole wheat. Don't bother wasting your money on the wimpy salad bar.

Overpriced, doughy ball of goo. it is too hard to find a cracker crisp crust on a pizza on Colorado that is worth a dime. BJ's was the arm-twist "you gotta at least try it" manipulation the crowd voted on the island that day. i spent the rest of the day feeling bloated, oily, and nauseated from a bubble-gum consistency crust, and fillings that were subpar. Thanks for the beer which helped to effervesce the greasy mess through my pipes quickly. I would rather eat fishing sinkers than eat there again. In spite of its attempts at creativity in its menu, and stalwart attempts at service, there is little that will get me to part with another $80 for pizza ever again in this place. I might go back for salad an beer...

i'm a big fan of the Beau Jo's in Idaho Springs. I end up with a big group there a few times every summer and it's always a blast. The atmosphere is a big part of the enjoyment, but the pizza is always good. But what of the Arvada location? It definitely is lacking in the ambience department. The Idaho Springs location is filled to the brim with mining stuff and big spaces while the Arvada location is a pizza joint. Nothing special to be found in Arvada. Or is there? The service makes up for the lack of a fun environment. The people working there are attentive and efficient without ever being annoying. You always get refills on your soda as soon as you need them. You never want for extra napkins or another utensil. They really do service the way it should be done. The pizza is the same in both locations. They have a crazy selection of fun and interesting pizzas with lots of different sauces and crusts. I must say that I like all of them in different ways. I feel like I've had all of them at some point. I woudn't say it's a cheap meal but it's always good. The buffet will present you with pizza that is not as good as the pizza cooked to order, but that's always the case. The salad bar is pretty good and they work their butts off to keep it filled. Again with the fantastic service. I'm definitely a fan, and it's a lot closer than Idaho Springs.

Tried out Beau Jo's because they had Wi-Fi. I needed a place to work for a few hours between business meetings. I came by just after lunch time and tried out their pizza buffet. They had a large selection of different types of pizza, thin crust and thick pies. I enjoyed every style I chose, although some of the slices tasted like they'd been warmed for a while, which is the curse of any buffet...so I can't hold that against them too much. Overall, I thought it was a good value with a good selection. Needed wi-fi and could not find it at several nearby steak/burger places. Glad that I found it at a pizza place.

My favorite pizza place ever, and not just this location. I have loved every Beau Jo's I've visited. The pizza is soooooooo good, like none other. Dip the crust in honey and you will be in heaven. Big selection, gourmet ingredients, pretty good service. Oh my God, just talking about it, I want to go right now! My favorite is the mountain pie on honey whole what with tomatoes, artichokes and basil. Also a fun place for out-of-towners, because for some reason it feels very "Colorado." This location is my favorite out of all the others. It feels less crowded, more spacious, cleaner, brighter, and happier.

I am partial to the Idaho Springs Beau Jo's. We stopped at the new Beau Jo's in Arvada after a Costco run. Staff are all pleasant and very accommodating. The second visit, we were warned that rain was imminent. Chose to sit outside anyway. Inside can be noisy. Sat in a two-top that was not out in the open. We were fine. Staff kept checking to see if we were o.k. Salad bar was good and did not look "picked over." We ordered the gluten free crust and we loved it. Makes the dreaded Costco run something to look forward to.

Whenever we have people visit from out of state we make a point of introducing them to Beau Jo's, the one exception is anyone in town from the North East, they like paper with ketchup slathered on it! So anyway, we had visitors from Texas this passed weekend and so we had Beau Jo's. As usual the Mountain Pies we ordered were amazing and as usual our company was confounded by the dipping honey. We've never had a bad pie from this place and I hope that we never do. Can't wait till someone else comes to visit, maybe we can find a way to stop in even if we don't have company. I want to add that the buffet is not indicative of the quality of their pies, it seems that they make the buffet pizzas a little less than and that is disappointing.

We went here for the buffet on a Sunday night and were really disappointed. Salad bar was just ok, a server said they usually make their own ranch but the ranch tonight was store bought and I could tell. They had 5 different pizzas to choose from, I wanted pepperoni and got the last piece. We sat there for 30 more minutes and no more pizza got brought out. They were down to 1 cheese pizza that had been sitting under the hot lights for 45 minutes by the time we gave up and left. The server also didn't know if they had wine when I asked and went to the back, came back and said they would have to open a bottle just for me. Really?? This visit was totally sub par. We won't be going back.

I've been in CO for a couple of years now and everyone always talks about this place. I work nearby and love to hop over for the lunch buffet. They've got a sweet salad bar and usually have several varieties of pizza, including desert. I like the meat lovers, the GF goes for the veggies. Plus, I kinda like being able to finish off the crust with the honey they leave on the table. Service is usually pretty quick but could be a little more efficient at times.

I learned about Beau Jo's from several websites claiming their gluten free pizza was very good and the mountain pies were delicious. I went with a group and we all enjoyed out meal. Most people in the group got the lunch buffet and tried several types of pizza. We learned about putting honey on the edge of your mountain pie crust. I had never heard of that before but my fellow diners enjoyed it. I ordered the veggie lite pizza with a gluten free crust. It was good. The crust has fairly crisp, which has been a complaint of previous gluten free crust experiences. I had some the next morning for breakfast and the crust was pretty dry, but I won't hold that against the pizza. The pizza was okay. We all enjoyed and ate it, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I'd go again if others in my group wanted to go.

I went to Beau Jo's to try out their gluten free pizza. I'm new at the gluten free thing so I tried to keep my expectations low. Pizza, however is one of my favorite foods. The crust looks like a hand tossed consistency but tastes like it's been mass produced. The toppings made up for the lackluster taste of the crust. On a brighter note, they offer gluten free beer! Overall, Beau Jo's will be on my list of places to go back if I really need a pizza fix, but I'm definitely looking for something better.

I dunno, it just didn't hit the spot, or did it? I was just getting over the nasty flu when we decided to have a hot meal for once and pizza was on my given. My FH selected BJ's b/c I had never had it before and this was the closest location. First of all, Sat nights are busy, as with any other dining establishment. Go figure. We waited about 20 min for a table in a very packed, loud, but not a fun loud, HOT environment. I don't know if the heater was on blast or if it was all the body heat or what, but it was a sauna in that packed place. Ok, so now on to the food and service. Our server was great, she was working her tail off, but managed to keep us and others happy all while having sweat nearly drip off her forehead. We opted out of the salad/pizza bar option as it looked small, nearly empty and boring. There were greens and pizza, but nothing that looked good. So we decided to order a pizza by the lb. As their menu has tons of specialty pizza, i.e. little cicly, skier mike's and cajun, just to name a few that stuck in my head, we decided to stick with something familiar and choose the hamburger combo - meat and a few veggies. Most pizza is sold by the pound/per person serving, not unreasonably high, or you can build your own pizza. They have calzones, spaghetti bowls, skillets and appetizers too. We just stuck to plain ol pizza. Our pizza arrived in fashionable time, piled high with ingredients and thick hearty crust (we choose wheat bread for the dough) with a side of honey. I like that they give you honey with your pizza, it's like a dessert. Eat a little crust with honey afterwards - yumm! Yet, the dough reminded me of eating a honey cinnamon roll from Texas Roadhouse (before I put the honey on) as it was a little sweet to begin with. Anyhow, after all was said and eaten, I felt like they rushed the pizza. It lacked sauce. I don't like sauce dripping everywhere, but I like pizza sauce and this pizza was a little dry, had a ton of innerds - meat and veggies piled high, lacked cheese as it was just sprinkled on top to melt just right and quickly and the bread was sweet. I don't know, maybe it was my taste buds, but it wasn't that great. Oh, well. I think I'll continue to pay $5 instead of $19 (2lb pizza) around the corner from my house. They give me more cheese for my $.

I'm pretty fond of Beau Jo's Pizza, though have always found the one in Idaho Springs to be consistently better. The pizza buffet here is all right, but the turnover rate for the pizzas is low because there just aren't enough people for them to continually put pizza out. If you were to go here, go ahead and order a pizza so at least you know it's fresh. They do serve the same Mountain Pie which is essentially a thin crust pizza surrounded by a pound or two of crust. This is supposed to then be smothered by honey and makes for a kind of a dessert combined with dinner. They offer a lot of variations including white or wheat crust, gluten free, and tofu topping. I haven't tried anything but the wheat, but that was pretty good. So if you really really aren't fond of crust, order the normal pizza.

Their pizza is great! However the restaurant was very dirty, the servers were texting on their phones and the host/manager was on a personal call that the slowly finished up before seating us. I won't be going back. I'll make the drive up to Idaho Springs if I want their pizza!

Whenever we're coming back from the mountains, this is where we stop on the way home. We HAVE to. The pizza isn't the best pizza ever or anything, but it is good and cheesy. I'm personally a fan of the honey cheese bread appetizer. It's just so perfect. Honey & cheese...who would've thought? Definitely not me. Every time I've gone, this place is always beyond packed. Kind of annoying, but, good for them. Anyway, I'll just leave you with these 3 words for when you decide to go: Honey Cheese Bread.

We get their gluten free pizzas and except for my wife's are the best around. Good crust and loaded with toppings. Only a 10 inch and the price is a little high but compared to other joints it is the best around.

So I tried this place primarily because it was featured on a "man vs food" episode. The guy got a 14 lb "mountain pie" pizza and it looked really good! Well, it was ok pizza, but the mountain pies are a bit too bready on the crust. I'm not really digging the whole honey dipping crust tradition either. If you're looking for a casual and new experience (14 pound giant pizza), it's worth trying out. But if you're looking for a really good pizza, you will be disappointed.

I am in love with this place. We got a "mountain pie" with a bunch of toppings, and it was hot and tasty. The honey bottle you get with your pizza to squirt all over your crust is an excellent idea, and tastes great. The salad bar works well enough for a small salad bar. The only thing to watch out for here is be careful as you add on toppings to your pizza, because the price definitely adds up!

Beau Jo's has won me over to Colorado style pizza. At first I was reluctant to try a new thicker style of pizza. I always tend to prefer the thin crust St. Louis style pizza that I grew up on. However, Beau Jo's has fantastic tasting crust that you can even dip into honey for dessert (a Colorado tradition I've learned) and it makes for an overall awesome pizza experience! I like that the crust is only thick at the very edge so even if you prefer thinner crust pizza, you mostly get that until the end. Afterward, the edge crust can be eaten more like a bread stick. The best part is that they have amazing vegan cheese options that even non-veggies will eat. My only suggestion would be to get more veggie meat options like soy sausage. I know I love a restaurant when it becomes one of my cravings and Beau Jo's has become that. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service is excellent. This place rocks!

I use to be a regular customer here, however I went a few years back and it was my last trip. The service was great up until we were ready to leave. From the time we got our bill to the time we left was over an hour which was ridiculous. Our waitress was either smoking out back, they couldn't find her or she was ready to end her shift! We had to ask for a TO-GO box three times and had to walk up to the front for them to run our credit card!!! We ended up giving her a 2.00 tip because we we're so pissed at this point. When I got my Credit Card statement a month later, the waitress had added a "1" in front to give herself a 12.00 tip!! They refunded my money back, but they handled it very bad and didn't even apologize.

This is one of my favorite local places and we take all of our out of town guests here to introduce them to 'Mountain Pie'. First, the mountain pie has an amazing crust. The edges are about 2 inches high and crusty on the outside, tender and puffy on the inside. A bottle of honey is on the table and most patrons eat the middle section and save the crusts to eat with honey. Second, the menu of specialty pies is lengthy. They put everything and every combination of stuff on a pie. They have pies that substitute basil pesto, green chile sauce, bbq sauce and a bunch of other sauces instead of standard tomato sauce and the list of toppings is endless. Lastly, the sizes here are based on weight. 1lb, 2lb, 3lb. The 3lb sounds horrible and huge but order it, you will want to take home some for later. They serve Tomyknocker beer which is brewed in Idaho Springs and is pretty good. The prices for a pie are pretty reasonable for what you get. They have specials daily and have a pizza bar/salad bar combo in the day time. Go, experience the mountain pie :)

I came here with a few friends and we got a couple different pizzas. I had the BBQ pie with the honey whole wheat crust. There were bottles of honey on the table and I was very confused as to what to do with them. The waitress told me that I could dip the crusts in them, and I thought, well that's strange. It turned out being delicious! I love whole wheat crusts because they are filling and have a good bite to them. The pizza was very good and I even tried a couple of slices from the other pizza's on the table. My friend's mom is gluten free and so she wanted to try the gluten free pizza so that she could see if she could bring her mom to Beau Jo's. It was interesting to say the least, but I was very impressed that they tried to cater to people with certain restrictions. This place is close by and definitely worth trying again! I know that they have a buffet of some sort, and maybe next time I'll give that a shot.

I kind of feel that this pizza has little to do with Italian pizza. The crust is more like a good bread dough than a pizza crust. But having said that, I must admit that I like the Beau Jo pies. It makes me feel like I'm eating a health food pie. The toppings are fresh and plentiful and the whole wheat pie has a decent yeasty flavor with a too thick crust that requires you to perform the sacrilege of pouring honey on the unadorned hunk of bread that remains once the toppings are gone. Sometimes the proximity effect kicks in and when you're hurting for a pizza fix and decent and close is good enough.

Well Colorado certainly maximizes its pizza eating experience. The Colorado-style pizza crust is meant to be eaten with delicious honey- essentially dessert at the end of every slice. GEEEENIUS. Customized turkey pepperoni pizza was quite good. Also very kid friendly. Our server was cool about weird kid-related requests. Will definitely stop here again on our next trip!

Came here on vacation with my family; we ordered a 5lb Dude Ranch pie, which consists of chicken, bacon, tomatoes, ranch, and cheese, and a 1lb Vegetarian pie for my sister. The pizza was divine, what really stood out was the crust drizzled in honey, this is pretty much dessert built in to the dinner. The atmosphere was excellent, we ate outside on a beautiful night and there was a band playing. Service was fine and although the wait was fairly long, it was well worth every minute. Come here, get the dude ranch pie, and never regret anything in your life again.

Good food - went with my three younger boys and the server was so patient and kind every time I requested more napkins or Anything. He kept the drinks full. I wish I would've remembered my receipt or got his name because it's probably the best service I've had in a long time. Now, we arrived just after the dinner rush and I feel it took way too long to get our food. They may need to look into getting more piZza ovens or something. My son ordered the kids Mac and cheese and I was disappointed to find out it was comparable to Kraft boxed Mac and cheese. The only difference was it cost $5! It also came with a fruit cup. I felt the price for that was incredibly ridiculous. At least put some fresh fruit on the plate from the salad bar!! Overall a good experience and will go back, but I won't let my son order the Mac and cheese!

Pizza has some potential, but from someone who is used to Chicago deep dish, this just didn't cut it for me. The crust has a decent amount of flavor and although I'm not a big honey guy, I would recommend adding it to the crust as a dessert. The sauce needs some work, it's too watery and lacks consistency. Adding higher quality ingredients (meats) would bring this pizza up a huge notch and for the price you pay, I can't imagine that it would raise food cost too much. Overall, it's okay and I would eat it again if I had to, but wouldn't be my first choice. Side note: the house pale ale was very good, I do recommend having a beer or two if there.

Our family loves it here. I used to go to bea jo's many, many years ago in high school. And I was so excited when I moved back here 15 years later to find out bea jo's is still around. Of course I'll always have an attachment to the one in Idaho Springs, yet this one is just as delicious. We had a hard time deciding how much to order for the 5 of us but we've got it down now. We're totally in love with the thick style pizza. Dip the crust in their honey & I'm in heaven. Their all you can eat salad bar is a favorite among the kids (and adults). The veggies are fresh & good. We ordered chicken wings for the first time, I don't care for hot wings but the 2 in our group that do devoured them. Great place for lunch. They have a marvelous all joy can eat salad and pizza bar. Their pizza bar has such very natural pizzas which sometimes include things like turkey pepperoni. Their pizzas also have mountain crust which is so good with honey on it. Salad bar has such a variety of vegetables and fruits.

I've only ever gotten take out from Beau Jo's, but it's delish! I love that they have heir gluten free and dairy free pizza options for my picky friends. And their gluten free dough is actually really good. I love to smother my pizzas in veggies. The cashiers are always friendly and show you your pizza before you leave to make sure you're satisfied.

This was our second time at beau Jo's pizza. This time wasn't pleasant. Why? Customer service and wait time. We waited 45 mins for 3 pizzas, with no salad bar option. The waitress told us it was 4 dollars extra, 1.50 per ea child. Since when? 120 bucks later for our party of 9 we were disappointed. The pizza was great but the service was bad.

Oh yeah... very good experience. I had never been here before today. We rolled in around 6pm on a Saturday. The place was crowded, but we were seated immediately. They had some impressive draft beer selections... icy, frosted mugs really hit the spot. I also like that you can enjoy the beer in a 22 ounce serving. The pizza was really good. It was a 2 pound mountain pie??? Absolutely, loved the crust! If you haven't tried Beau Jo's before... give them a shot.

Not sure I will ever be back!!!! I had lunch here this past Friday. We got the lunch buffet. I've had the food here before and enjoy the pizza. The best part is the honey on the dough at the end. I love the fact that I'm supporting a local Colorado grown business and have supported them since they where in north Wadsworth where the chic filet is now. I seen something that made me think wow this employee really just doesn't care. I went up to get a piece of pizza and there was this huge horse fly crawling all over the last three pieces of pepperoni pizza. I immediately called over one of the cooks ( the tall skinny kid wearing his hat backwards) and said excuse me you just had this fly crawling all over these pieces of pizza, just then the fly returned and continued to crawl over them. At this the guy waived his hand at the fly to get off. And then went to walk away. I said again that fly was all over these pizzas and pushed the board towards him as to help with what I wanted him to do (which was take the pizzas out of the buffet). He took them and I was like wow would this kid would of ate those pizzas or did he just not care because it wasn't him? Really disappointed but what happened next has caused me to question if I will ever go back. He put the three pieces of pizza back out as soon as I walked away!!!!!!!!!!! Is this managements fault or just one lazy kid. What else is going on in the back? Not sure I will be back.

I guess I just don't get what the big deal is about this place. I don't mind spending a lot of money for awesome food and I'm no food snob either. We went to Beau Jo's knowing it was pricey...but heard it was worth it. The service...pretty depressing. The interior...blah and the carpet floor was stained and dirty. The salad bar...very standard and totally not worth the $5 add on to your meal. The hot wings...how do you justify charging $15 for 12 wings that are just like any other places wings? The pizza...seriously, there is nothing right about paying over $30 for a pizza (that was about the size of a typical medium at any other place) that just didn't deliver on the flavor factor. I was expecting to be blown away by this awesome pizza. Instead ($80 later) I walked out feeling like I just got ripped off.

My Favorite Part about Beau Jo's fine dinning establishment is the feeling of satisfaction you get from their Magical Salad Bar. Now most people are not as lucky as I. Their taste buds get to only experience the delectable smorgasbord of greens and accessories uno times. Myself on thee other hand got to Enjoy my salad at least 3 times, I only had to wait 8 hours, and it all happened from the comforts of kneeling over my porcelain lazy boy at 5 am in the morning. Now some may get saddened or even upset at the violent spray of chewed cucumbers, lettuce, goldfish, and tomatoes being Shotgun Blasted out of their esophagus at 100 mph encrusting the back wall of their American Standard Mega Flush 300 with a pastel orange waterfall Masterpiece of stomach bile. Or the they may have some slight discomfort in their "mountain pie hole" from a robust flavor left by their very own batch of stomach acid mixed with a nice texture of a half digested vegetable garden. Or the the strong nostril thrusts it takes to blow the bits and pieces of sharpened carrot, that took a detour from the Vomit Highway and GPS'd them selves directly to the septum. But I tell you this my friends, Mondays usually suck and it can be difficult to wake up with motivation to start your week. With the help of Beau Jo's I woke up extra early and am ready to fuck Monday Up worse then the Back Wall of my Mega Flush 300. If I do head into work today I can't wait to see the excitement of my coworkers as I show off my new Powder White Pale Skin, bloodshot, broken blood vessel eyes, deviated septum, bad breath, and genuinely depressed new look. The only thing missing to make this dinning experience more magical then a Disney On Ice musical is a mild case of diarrhea. Anddddd Wait for it........... Wait for it..........There it is Yay Beau Jo's changing lives and making difficult Mondays mornings a little less of a struggle. Update: Not that mad at Beau Jo's anymore. I did have to Call into work sick you big buttholes. But I Went straight to Boob Tube Mode and commenced operation start feeling less shitty. Honey with pizza??? I grew up in Chicagoland... pizza pizza pizzaland. With so many pizza places, never have I ever had a pizza with honey. I was reluctant to try it but I'm so glad I did. They have a fantastic crust that is complimented so well with the honey. I've been there twice and I will go back. I don't remember what pizzas we ordered but they were both excellent.

Mountain Pies. Prairie Pies. Sounds more like something you don't want to step in while hiking than a pizza. But, Beau Jo's has elevated the pizza universe by creating a colossal, hearty and a hand-rolled edge (seriously, you could do 50/50 axel grinds on these edges) pizza crust which can hold a dump truck load full of ingredients. Plus, the crust doubles as a breaded Sopapilla...just ask for honey. Ordering a pizza at Beau Jo's is like ordering from Amazon, pick a style (Mountain, Prairie, Gluten-Free), now add to your shopping cart the crust (Honey White, Honey Whole Wheat, Gluten-Free), don't check out yet, add your sauce (numerous) then your ingredients (one short of infinity) cheeses and herbs.... Beau Jo's really does a great job of celebrating the Gluten-Free lifestyle, with pizza, beer and sandwiches. Plus, they have their own GF day (Wednesdays) and when you order any wheat free pizza or sandwich, you get a free trip to the salad bar. I would have expected the atmosphere (of this location) to be more mountainous, warm...not so bright, open and "uncozy," which is why it didn't get one more star.

What a great night. I took my family and in-laws to Beau Jo's on a Friday night to say thanks for watching the kids and I wanted to treat them to a nice night out. I was a little skeptical that Beau Jo's would be able to provide that kind of experience I was looking for but the kids convinced the Grandparents that they should go out for pizza. When we got there the wait looked like it was going to be a good 15 minutes before we could get in, but to my surprise they said we have a table that would fit you nicely if you're willing to eat outside. We said sure and we were just a few tables away from the live music which really added to the atmosphere. The place was packed busy so I figured I would have to wait for our pizza, which was something I was dreading because I was ready to eat. I totally imagined the kitchen just being backed up and was prepared to apologize for my grumbling stomach. But that didn't happen because our waiter was prompt, got our drinks and appetizers out within minutes of ordering, and with perfect timing as soon as our appetizers were finished our Pizzas were fresh, hot and sitting in front of us. The weather was perfect, we got to see the sun setting behind the mountains while listening to enjoyable music. Speaking of the live music my 2 year old and 4 year old wanted to get up and close to the band, and they even played a few kid songs in between the modern hits. Great fun, good food, and a very enjoyable night. It was like everything worked out perfectly and it turned out to be one of the best nights out to a restaurant I've had in the last few years. Good job Beau Jo's! Don't let me down next time ;)

Meh, not bad but the not best, I've ordered a typical pepperoni pizza. I always said if you can make a typical pizza taste phenomenal then your allowed to make different flavors. I was expecting more but too many choices or sauces and they charged per the pound. I just wanted a typical pizza but the waitress kept hounding me to try this or this. This place reminded me of the bland Midwest restaurants which they take their ethnic food's to a satisfying level for the bland masses. What I'm saying is that most of the customers probably say their second favorite pizza is a national chain store pizza joint. This place is good but I was expecting WOW but sadly I didn't. I'll go back and keep trying new flavors.

So I love love love the other two locations on Colorado Blvd and in Idaho Springs, but this one was disappointing in the service aspect. The food was amazing as usual which is why it gets three stars. The service was strange and not what in used to at this restaurant. The waiter was goofy and not really professional as well as the other people working. There was a former employee eating there and they started a conversation right at the salad bar blocking our way. They were great with time and cleanliness and the bussers were great. However, being aware that people like to be served with professionalism is crucial to the Beaujos experience

So, it's my birthday and I ordered a pizza from here. On the website it's a bit hard to tell which pizza is named what, so I ordered the wrong pizza. After going home and realizing it wasn't correct, I called them and even though we figured out that it was sort of my own fault that I'd ordered the wrong thing, they were super nice and made me another pizza (the one I'd intended to order). We just went and picked it up and everyone was super nice and friendly about the mix up. I really appreciated their kindness in what could have been an otherwise not fun situation. I'm brand new to the area, and this was one of the restaurant recommendations I heard most often. The pizza was good, not exceptional, and the waiter we had did a really good job with a large group and some picky/complicated orders. I'd like to go back and try something new. Colorado style pizza! So great! The supreme mountain pie was great lots of fresh veggies. The Cajun mountain pie was spicy, but my brothers and dad enjoyed! Honey for the extra crust is brilliant. The beer samplers were also fun. Salad bar is good, but expensive for what's there. Service was pretty speedy and friendly.

After picking up a few times I finally was able to make it into Beau Jo's for some food and drinks on their great patio. It always looked like a good place to enjoy a cold one or four, as well as something to nosh on. It was a late Thursday afternoon a couple of weeks back and neither of us had had lunch so we split some wings and a sandwich. The pizza is always good but we weren't really in a mood for one that day. The sweet and spicy wings were decent enough, even if the wings seemed to be from super sized chickens. Either I'm getting smaller or most of the wings I order are getting bigger. We split the Italian Turkey sandwich, along with the bag of chips that came on the side. It had Turkey breast, salami, pepperoni, roma tomatoes, basil, Italian dressing and smoked provolone cheese. We got served it warm, and both of us really liked it. Good combination of flavors! The beer selection is pretty good, along with the service. If you're looking for a spot on a patio consider giving it a try!

I finally made it to Beau Jo's a few weeks back to try their happy hour. I'd eaten there once before and honestly didn't have a strong opinion one way or the other. On a cold Sunday night, we made our way over to grab some dinner and a couple drinks. We opted to sit at the bar, and took a look at the happy hour menu. They have some good deals! We went with some wings to start, and then split an individual prairie pie. It was just enough food without being too filling. The individual pizzas start at 4.99 at happy hour. Of course this isn't the best traditional pizza, but on that cold icy night it tasted really good! The happy hour prices are beyond decent - I had 3 glasses of house Pinot Grigio for $3 each, and he had a couple of 22 oz beers for $4 each. I'll gladly go back for $3 wine and $5 pizza!

This location is way nicer than the dingy old location further up Wadsworth. Their food quality seems better, as well. A little pricier than your average pizza joint, but the quality is good, and the toppings are fresh. Service is also very friendly and accommodating. They have a lunch buffet, which is a good deal, and they also have a small happy hour menu, which includes pizzas, apps, and drinks. It's also very convenient for us, since I live and work in Arvada. Oh, and we saw Joe Biden and his wife here accidentally, right before the last election. It was a surprise, nobody knew they were coming, but it was a nice surprise. Not one that's likely to be repeated, but cool nonetheless.

First time trying Beau Jo's but I've heard stories and seen it on Man vs Food. The pizza was just ok...I believe the crust was baked first and then they put the fillings in there. What that meant was the center of our pizza wasn't hot. Our server (Lance I think?) was so super nice and gave us a free, fresh baked chocolate chip cookie for being first timers.

Wow amazing can not believe there is not a five star rating from everyone. I must return and make sure I am not going overboard but this was one of the finest pizza to touch my palate. And let me assure you I have had many a unique and delicious pizza in my four decades of existence. To me it always comes down to the sauce and the sauce was awesome wait for it awesome. Perfect flavor not overpowering and very fresh. The toppings were yummy and the right amount more is better but the thicker the toppings the less likely you are to taste the crust and this crust is to die for just unreal how good the dough is I being from the SFBAYAREA am sort a sourdough snob and know how water mineral content makes the difference with killer beard or in this case dough which was priceless. The cheese was grand and hold my self to 2 pieces was very hard I will be back and test my reviw against another pie but come on this is A plus pizza heaven all the way I did have the hamburger pizza sans green bell peppers by the way with the mountain pie set up Live tune on Saturday night

Simply put, best pizza in Colorado. I've eaten pizza all over the country, and this place serves the best pie around. On top of that, they have an excellent selection of craft brews for a pizza franchise. The wait staff is friendly and they have an incredible outdoor area to enjoy a summer pizza. On top of all that, they hire people to play music in the outdoor area. It's the first place I take people when they visit Colorado.

YUM!! Best pizza around! Love the pizza and the salad bar has everything you'd want. Call ahead seating is the way to go for Friday and Saturday nights. I'm always happy and full after dining at Beau Jo's!!

Sunday 3:30pm. We were sat quickly just to be ignored. Along with the rest of the people who appeared to be ready to leave. We ended up leaving with no water food drinks dessert. Should have known service would be shotty when everyone was standing around the hostess desk with snotty attitudes. Even The manager acted stuck up. Won't be back to this place.

I have been frequenting Beau Jo's for years! The main driver for me is that one of the individuals in my party has a severe allergy to milk and egg, and Beau Jo's is one of the few places [that I know of] that will make a full dairy free pizza! I enjoy the restaurant in Arvada in particular because of its large patio. This restaurant is the latest location (moved from 80th and Wadsworth) to join Beau Jo's. For those who are not interested in the dairy free offerings, Beau Jo's makes one of the better pizzas in Colorado. The Mountain Crust is a carb lovers dream! Combined with the fresh honey, the crust won't be left behind. I have had some of Beau Jo's other offerings such as their sandwiches and pastas, and can confirm that they are on par with their pizzas!

Came in tonight (Saturday ) & the place was pretty busy and staff was friendly. Service was great. Family enjoyed the Lil Italy pizza but way too much bread. We also added the salad bar but it was disappointing. Huge gag factor when I saw the salad bar lady cleaning up around containers with her bare hands.... Gloves please. We will not be making a second stop here in the future.

If I could give this place half a star I would. Or no stars. The food quality was on par with Domino's Pizza but they charge upscale prices. My friend and I went for lunch and the server left us sitting for 20 minutes before even coming over to get a drink order when the restaurant was nearly empty. After eating our mediocre food we were left sitting again for another 20 minutes for the server to come see if we wanted anything else or the check. We finally ended up going up to the host stand and asking for our check. The only good thing about this place is the level of cleanliness. Next time I'll save myself the $30 I spent to feed 2 people lunch and go to Jack-In-The-Box and get about the same quality food for half the price.

This place just moved from north Arvada to south Arvada. We had the half Skier Mike/half Hawaiian pizza. It was great! It's always a treat to get great service and be in the company of friends and family too. I can't wait till the weather is perfect and we can sit out on the patio with a pitcher of cold beer, pizza, and honey for the crusts! What could be better??
