I had placed an order for delivery at the Me N Eds at Willow and Nees online. Their driver wrote down the wrong address and not only was it 2 hours late but when I verified the correct address, he then told me it was out of his range to deliver. They then placed the correct order at Coney Island. I spoke with the manager there to express my disappointment. Nicole was so awesome. Not only was she patient with hearing my frustration and concerns but she helped me with speeding up delivery and offering a discount. Because of her I will only order from Coney Island from now on. Thank you, Nicole!!!!

It's mostly a review of the curbside service. They take way too long. Every person that works at the window is always rude, and not smiling. Literally, I have yet to encounter a smiling face, or pleasant attitude. And for some reason when you order from the window, the food tastes weird.. old maybe. Even though I have seen them put fresh pizza straight from the oven. I ordered a corn dog, and after about 15 min of waiting, they gave me a corn dog. Except half of it was missing the corn- so it was mostly a hot dog. I asked how long it would take for a different one- the girl said 5 min, about 10 minutes later, I received my new corn dog. Looked better, but, I was so late getting back to work I just wanted to cry. My co-workers and I have given it chance after chance, and this last visit was enough for us to decide that we are better off elsewhere for a fast food lunch. The workers just seem so angry, and that's a bummer when you are trying to eat junk food for lunch.

Oh my word if I could give negative stars I would right now... I came here on my lunch and used the walk up express window to order my food...so I ordered the "natural" which is just a plain hot dog and an order of onion rings....I paid and all of that was fine...it wasn't until the next customers stepped up and ordered two single scoop vanilla ice cream sundays and chocolate sauce. The lady at the counter charged them extra for the chocolate sauce.....now I took a picture of the sign....no where on there does it say that there is an extra charge for chocolate syrup....and when asked about it she said...I dunno why there just is.... What the heck?!?! Then after a very long wait my food finally came....the hotdog is dried up and hard....and the onion rings are soggy....I am just....disappointed.

I am so happy to say coney island finally got new hostess staff!! Yay guys!! The wait staff has always been great and friendly. But the hostesses were bad for a long time. Glad to see smiling faces when I walk in to spend MY money at your establishment. :) thank you. Great food great service.

DO NOT get delivery from this place. Ordered 1 pizza at 5pm, called at 6pm, manager told me that they a.) couldn't reach the delivery driver because they only had his home phone number b.) They aren't concerned with late deliveries until they are hour & half late. Never mind no one knew when the pizza went out. What a joke, never again.

Food is always great to eat and never let me down. Recommend to anyone that has never tried it before to pass by.

This is horrible. Been waiting for 20 minutes for my change. Food took Forever to get here. Our waitress was the bartender and she had to take care of the whole room. There are so many other people here, why couldn't the tables be split up? They gave us our clam chowder but no spoon. Asked for a spoon tasted dish soap on one and the other one was fuzzy and dirty still. Never coming back.

Boyfriend enjoyed his slice of pizza. I'm a little more hard to please & to be frank, I like what I like & won't eat anything just cause I'm Hangry. The windy city hot dog, for one, did NOT come on a poppy seed bun, & two, had no pickle spear. The main selling point of this whole hot dog actually. It was smothered in too much mustard & relish and the hot dog itself was skinny and tiny. Al I could taste was a mouth full of bun, mustard and tangy relish. YUCK. It's a good thing I ordered a side of fries with that. Fries were my saving grace and might I add, why do workers in this "line of work" always tend to give you that same look when you try and ask for more ketchup packets? Like fool, I ordered a whole side of fries & you wanna try and give me like 4 packets of ketchup?! End rant. I loves my ketchup with my fries. Moral of this story is, don't go to a pizza joint and order a hot dog. The End.

I called for pick up and I was ignored at the door for a good 5 min even though I made eye contact with numerous people at the counter. I finally got recognized when I had to slightly shout for someone to help me with my pick up order. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 was because the pizza was good. Otherwise the service left me feeling angry. They also couldn't find my order because they put it under the wrong name for whatever reason. I will not be going here anymore.

I love me n eds, but the customer service sucks the girl was rude taking the order and at the pick up window.

Driving through Fresno on our way to Sacramento, we arranged to visit one of my best friends, who lives there. We wanted a spot where we could eat and the kiddies could let off some steam. The forecast was 104 degrees, so a park was out of the question. My friend suggested Me-n-Ed's, describing it as "like Chuck E. Cheese with a better menu and games geared at older kids." It sounded like a perfect option, although I have to admit that an undeniable sense of dread filled me at the thought of having to be at a Chuck E. Cheese-type place. I avoid the latter like the plague. But Me-n-Ed's, though geared toward the same audience, is much better-planned and executed. The dining area is not only separate, it is walled off from the play area. So no dealing with the loud arcade noises while you are trying to eat and talk. Booths fit our group of 8 comfortably, with a toddler in a high chair at the end. Game space was well laid-out and not as claustrophobic as these places can get. And the pizza is really good. So, although I'm not a gamer, this is a place where I can visit with my friend while the hubbies take the kiddies to play. Oh, yeah--I'm a fan.

Maybe I'm weird, but I start to get a sour taste about this place by just saying the name. Me n Ed's? Really?! I went here with a group of about 15. I admit it's not easy to seat a group that large, but this place has plenty of large tables and party rooms. I ended up having to walk the restaurant with the manager as he tried to find a suitable place for us. All the party rooms were empty, but he said they were already reserved. I didn't really care where we sat as long as we were all together, and he was able to make it work. I mention this now however, because at the time we left, all of the party rooms were still empty. False alarm on his part? They had a spicy Hawai'ian pizza, but other than that, everything was average at best. There was a game room for the kids to blow their parents' money. They had self-service sodas, so you didn't have to wait for the waitress for refills, and that was nice. Overall this place, tasted and looked like a slightly better version of Chuck E. Cheese. Go here if you have kids you need to entertain, not if you're looking for good pizza.

Lots of party rooms. This place is bigger than it looks. Large selection of foods, not just pizza. There is a large arcade in the far back of this venue, next to three small and one large party room. Each party group is assigned its own staff to wait on the guests. Good place for families and children.

This review is for the curbside windows. For one, the service is very slow even to put in a order. We were standing there for a good 5 minutes and were passed up by at least 5 of the 6 people who work back there till one finally decided to open the window and help us. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and my girlfriend a coney dog. Expecting to get a slice of Me-&-Eds signature slice of pizza, I instead got a huge slice of what I could tell was a out of a box oven made slice pizza, nowhere close to the cracker crust pizza this chain of restaurant normally serves. I was greatly unsatisfied with this. My girlfriends hot dog was also unsatisfactory as there was more bread then hot dog and from what I've seen this has been an issue for quite a while and the issue has not been resolved which makes me wonder. Oh and later said it made her stomach upset. If you're going to eat here I recommend that you just go inside and order in there. Don't even waste your time on the curbside.

I work at River Park so sometimes for lunch grabbing a quick slice at the window sounds great. Except it's never quick! The slices are made, I am staring at them, why can't you just throw one in a box?! The last time I went I was craving chili cheese fries. Waited about 20 min, my lunch is only 30min long btw, I was the only person waiting for their order outside. One of the girls noticed me staring at her through the window and she said 'it'll be a few more minutes'. I said I can't wait, my lunch is almost over, give me a combo slice and the difference from what I already paid. That took forever, she had to go find the manager to override what money she owed me back. The manager didn't acknowledge me or even apologize for the long wait. She could have at least gave me my slice to get rid of me but I still had to wait longer! Either way, the whole ordeal took up my whole lunch. The girls are rude as hell and just stand around talking to each other. All of us at work have boycotted that place for lunch since we've all had negative experiences. It's not worth the long wait and apathetic employees.

I cannot rave enough about the garlic chicken pizza. We have gone to Me-n-Ed's Coney Island Grill twice in the past two weeks. It is incredible. The chicken garlic pizza is to die for. We had it last week in the restaurant. The service was prompt, helpful and courteous. The waiter was so helpful. We are a varied group of bowlers who really enjoy our outings after 3 games of bowling at Sierra AMF on Blackstone so it is close. We also love a good brew with our pizza and have not been disappointed with the food or the brew. I would heartily recommend you try this establishment. They go out of their way to welcome you. There is ample room for large and small groups. No wait and excellent service. I cannot wait to go back. I am a huge garlic lover. We called in our order this week to be delivered to RV at Blackstone RV Park next to Sierra AMF Bowling Alley. We ordered for 4. Got 2 pizzas. The Chicken Garlic and Sausage/Pepperoni, both large. Yummm.... so good. You cannot miss with their pizza. We also ordered the coney dogs and they were great. The order was delivered with 30 minutes. We ordered extra cheese. We also received a container with fresh shredded garlic, 4 containers of ranch. I just cannot tell you how impressed I am with Me-n-Ed's Coney Island Grill. It is also very close (within walking distance) of the Riverpark Theater's, the candy store and lots of activities for the family. Also all the wonderful shopping sites. ENJOY!!!!

Had a party for my daughter which was great, rented out the party room that cost $40 and which you get back in a MeNeds gift card, it basically go's to the final cost of the party of food purchases, pizza came out fast, service was quick, our waitress was fabulous she did such a great job and made us feel welcomed and always came in the room to see if we needed anything. We weren't rushed nor did I feel it was overcrowded, being that the new movie of Avengers came out and Riverpark was really busy then usual, parking was a bit of a hassle, but you can park in the 15 minute area to drop off any of your party supplies so you don't have to walk far with them in hand. I would recommend renting the party room, the game room is next to them and then the candy shop that connects to the gaming area. It's all fun and good times for both adults and children's.

I really don't like eating here. It's not that the food isn't good - it's Me N Ed's, the best local pizza - it's the location, the crowd, the setting. It's finding a place to park (Riverpark: where there's no river and no place to park), it's wading through the lines. I'll gladly take delivery of a pie and wings any day or night, but actually going in to this location defies my idea of a good time.

Pretty surprised this place was so good. Highlights were the garlic fries and the garlic parmesan wings. So yummy. The chicken garlic pizza was also good. Wait was ok considering it was a Saturday night. Prices were really reasonable. Our party had 5 adults and two kids, everything came out to less than $70. Staff was friendly. Food comes out quick. They also have a to go window if you don't want to wait. They even have a mini arcade with prize redemption and a sweets store.

We waited for 40 minutes with empty dirty tables all around us. Employees chatting rather than clearing tables. Explanation was that there were too many parties. What? Did the BD parties just show up? Don't you add staff to take of the reservations? Line out the door and not one employee was in a hurry. Will never go back.

I am not a big chain fan.. I like to support small local restaurants. But Oregon was playing against Ohio and I was stuck in Fresno waiting for my daughter to finish her 4 hour theater practice. I sat at the bar and ordered a salad and beer. My husband and boys were in Caruthers watching the game without me. The guests were fun, the service was fast, great and flawless. My bartender, Sara, was fun, professional, on point. Zipping around like a busy bee, undaunted by anything. She engaged on a full conversation with me about kids and football and work, while handling close to 5 tables plus the bar. Everyone was happy, no mistakes, great communicator. She was fabulous with her fellow servers, expo, manager and even cooks. Her work ethic was impeccable and her personality was beautiful. The food was better than I expected and the attention to detail was appreciated. If you go... Sit in the bar and ask for Sara! Thanks for making servers/bartenders look good!!! I would come back just because of her!!! If I still owned my restaurant I would snatch her up to work with me!!! Fellow server/bartender/manager/owner

We had good service our waiter kept coming back to see if we needed anything. We ordered pizza, beer, clam chowder bowl, garlic fries, and every was hot and on time. We love this place and, so do the kids for the arcade. Food was excellent. Greg & Irma.

I love Me-n-Ed's pizza. I'm a local and have grown up on their delicious thin crust pizzas. I also enjoy the wings! My favorite is the Canadian bacon with pepperoni and mushrooms. Simple but delicious. Now you're only getting 4 stars because there's no online ordering at your establishment. We recently moved into the Coney Island delivery route. Our old one off Cedar/Nees had online capability. I must admit, I order from other pizza places because I can order online. I idon't have to wait on hold and it's easy and convenient to use my card online.

I reserved a room for my daughters birthday party and they did a fabulous job keeping our pitchers full and our whole party was impressed with the pizza. The only issue I had was when I came in a few days before the party to pay the deposit. The female manager seemed irritated that we were there and did not even greet me. She was not friendly at all. Other than that isolated incident the party was great.

We finally came back after speaking to Tony as I said in my last updated review. We were seated promptly and our waitress was Alex. A very bright spot for this place. She was so friendly and tho she had others that she was waiting in, she never walked by our table without checking on us and we felt as though we were her only customers. She really made the return experience a great one and restored my faith in the place. Left her a tip more than half our bill and a thank you note for the excellent service. Thank you Alex, Tony for a wonderful time. We will see you again!

Went in for lunch today and ordered the New York hot dog. Atmosphere seemed nice and the waitress was very friendly. The home made chips were very good but the hot dog was overcooked and shriveled. You would be better off getting a hot dog at Costco than here.

The wife and I had just finished a movie and waking to the car when we saw Coney Island grill and decided to give it a try. We walked in and it was about only 30% full. The hostesses were busy talking to each other because they had no clue how to seat the six people that had arrived just before us. five min later they go and slide three tables together so they could be seated even before they acknowledged us. We asked for a table for two and please not the high tables because I am disabled, she just looked baffled as to where to seat us. (Remember they had just pushed three tables together for a group of six,) but yet there were two tables the sits six people each right there by the hostess booth. We were told that we had to "wait for someone to figure out where to sit us". After about ten minutes, (five of the minutes spent mumbling to each other and looking up at us every 30 sec or so) they sat us at one of the six seat tables and it was quite obvious they were not happy with that choice. We did not complain and just sat down and we told her (who was nice but I don't know, just kind of a weird vibe) that we had never been there and got no welcome, no suggestions nothing. Just are you ready to order. In my mind I was saying "Um, no, we have never been there like we just said and have no clue what is on the menu yet." I just said we needed a min to look. So we the. Waited about ten minutes to order, The wife ordered the California hotdog and I got the Coney Island dog. When I ordered my Coney Island hotdog she asked if I wanted cheese and I told her that would be ok. She then tells me I want a different hotdog with cheese but no mustard. I just told her to give me the coney that I ordered. And then she asked if I wanted to add cheese, I'm baffled at this point as to why is she trying to confuse everything and make it difficult so I just said no, just the coney dog. So food is ordered and about fifteen min later it took two girls to carry out two hotdogs, One to carry and I guess the other for backup or for moral support, who knows. The food was really disappointing. All you saw was a bun and I had to open the bun to see the skinny hot dog and a small amount of chili and topings and the other one was just as bad. We went ahead and preceded to eat and after two bites I took the hot dog out of the bun and ate it by itself because all I tasted was bun, and not a great bun either. The tablespoon or so of chili was tasteless and blah. The hot dog was just a sad, skinny hotdog and a dab of mustard. The California dog was just as pathetic but at least when it arrived it was left spread open and you could see the sad skinny hot dog and couple small slices avocado and the skimpy topings. The wife ate half the bun with hers after she ripped off the top half of the bun to try and make the bun fit the hot dog. The fries were just fries, but the only thing that was good was the onion rings, which were not onion rings, they were onion strings, but they were good. our total check was $19 plus change for two very sad hotdogs, fries, onion strings, and two iced teas. I could of got a bunch of chili dogs that were way better but not great, and French fries at wienersnizels for that price and been a whole heck of allot more satisfied. And I did not even address the at the noise level of the music and noise they pumped into there. It was just noise for nose same. I left with a major headache, still hungry, sad and with $20 less in my wallet. This place may be ok for the teens or young people who are in it more for fun or what ever, but if you want a good time with good food and good enviornment, this place is not the place. We contacted the RGM as he asked me to in response to my review and it has taken me a bit to write this but what a disappointment. Seriously just half way said he was sorry, asked what happened and proceeded to make excuses. When asked about the waitress his reply was "she's my best server" and left it at that. And as to the skimpy hotdog in a huge bun his reply was "yeah, the chef (who is the manager) was thinking about looking into a bigger hotdog in the future". So just excuses and nothing done to make things good. The conversation ended with him saying "I hope you change your mind about the review". Seriously, did not even ask us to try them again, or offer any thing to make us want to try them again, he just confirmed the review and that the issues run up the entire company from hostess to RGM. and sad part is Me N Eds used to be my go to name for years and years until the changed everything and just is sub par at best any more. So the name Me N Eds is definitely now on my list of places not to go to. Sad because I am so loyal to company's, but just how it is when after too many chances and they insist on just being bad. Goodbye Me N Eds.

Had date night with the wife and decided to grab something quick and within walking distance. I had also seen pictures of the Windy City Dog on twitter and REALLY wanted to try it. The service was decent, can't complain. I was told that it would be about 10 minutes wait, and it came out about 10 minutes to the second. The Windy City Dog was delicious. The dog has a nice snap to it, the mustard and peppers add a get flavor, the tomatoes are not overpowering and the bun was very moist. Loved it! Will definitely be back to try some other menu items I noticed.

Food is always delicious and service is always slow. I know it's a big place but really?? One time it was so bad (and it was kinda slow) that my boyfriend and I were forgotten about when we were sat down and we just walked out. Tuscan harvest pizza is really yummy and so is the garlic bread.

Slow, slow, slow! We waited an excruciating hour and 15 minutes to get our pizza. This was not waiting to be seated and get our order in, no we waited an hour and 15 minutes to get our pizza once we ordered! I'm not sure what the issue was because the staff never came by to give an update on the wait, apologize, or explain what was going on. We had to hunt down the staff to ask about the order and all we got was, we're very busy. Even incredible tasting food after that long a wait would have a more critical review, but the pizza that finally came was less than average. Never going back.

We have had several birthday parties at Coney Island with no problem until today. I called around 1 pm to make a reservation and was told to call back at 3 pm to talk to the manager. When I called back at 3 I was told the manager was not making any reservations until tomorrow because they were too busy. When the manager got on the phone she was extremely rude. I let her know that they had lost business because of all of this. Their business is going to Victory Grill instead.

Thursday night, we got there at 8:50pm & we were told that store is closed since it's slow. The closing time on the outside door was 10:00pm. There were customers on about 3-4 tables still eating. I was very disappointed as we drove about 27 miles to go eat at this place and this is a premium Me & Ed's location. I don't know if it's authorized by corporate (upper management) or employees just pulled a fast one on us. BTW while we were outside the store for about 10 minutes or so these employees refused 4 other groups or families. Lost business & my trust:(

We ordered 2 delivery pizzas. Unfortunately one was wrong. I called and spoke with Manager Michael. Not only did they send a perfect replacement pizza, they got it to us in less than 20 minutes, and provided us with extra sides without our asking. Great service, excellent pizza.

This was one of the places that my good friend referred me to go eat at while staying in Fresno. Many of the locals I've talked to have made mention of Me-n-Ed's Pizza which I have yet to try although some of the pizzas that Coney Island Grill serves are the same. Coney Island Grill seems to be a step up from their Pizza outlets, giving more a sport bar feel with a wider range and variety in their menu. The atmosphere was chill, our waitress was very friendly, and the menu had tons of choices. I ended up ordering Tuscan Harvest pizza, salami, linguica, pepperoni, sausage, fresh mushroom, artichokes, green onion, roasted red pepper with 5 cheeses on red sauce. The toppings where a great mix of robust flavors and the crust was crisp but warm and soft on the inside. I also order a bowl of clam chowder. Nothing to rave about but it was good. To drink I had an Arnold Palmer, wasn't on their menu but the waitress was kind enough to make it for me. Over all, I thought it was a good place to eat. Nothing extremely special or out of the ordinary. Fair prices, good services, and good food. I'd go again if I was in the area and try something different.

Okay, I just really like this places. Even before they opened as a complete restaurant in Riverpark, I used to get Me-n-Eds Slices every time I was in the area. They have a great variety of foods--definitely something for everyone. From hot dogs, corn dogs, sandwiches and burgers to pasta, salads and chowder in a bread bowl. Everything is delicious. On our last visit our server seemed very rushed, but besides that she was very friendly and our order came out correct. She also was on top of drink refills and frequently came by to check on us despite her seeming very busy. Overall, it's got great food, and it's a good environment for families so it's great for my daughter also!

Coney Island grill... Think about it,,, it's me & eds nothing more that's my idea on the joint, I've been here a few times not with the expectation of a 5 star place but a pizza place , I didn't expect more then that and that's what I got a good location the same pizza, cold beer and a bunch of kids running around. My visits here we're not bad bad at all, I gotta say 1 lil thing though the calamari was waaaaay over cooked but hey that's my fault for trying to go outside the pizza aspect of the place. So to wrap it up I'd say love the pizza love the cold beer love the location and stay away from the calamari that's it.

large atmosphere, family friendly environment, arcade inside. The food is good. to each own taste buds. I had an apple martini and a hot dog. I would recommend going to the bar. The waitress was fantastic and the manager even came by to check up on us. The garlic fries were good as well as the pizza, although the crust was thinner than usual and I asked for the original crust that was given at other Me-n'-Ed's restaurants. The only reason for the four stars is that the wings are awful. The buffalo sauce is unusual from the ones that I've had at other restaurants--too salty and sweet and it completely undermines the taste. The waitress was nice enough to switch them out for the parmesan garlic wings. Again, it was different than other restaurants--garlic and parmesan bits on top but no sauce. I will be coming back but will avoid the wings.

The meal started off well with garlic fries. We are huge garlic fans, and we were happy with the fries. After the fries we split a small pizza. The pizza wasn't amazing, but it wasn't terrible either. It tasted somewhat cheap. Again, it wasn't terrible, but there are so many other pizza places that are better. After dinner, we had their gelato. I got coffee and my boyfriend got strawberry. The coffee was kind of gummy, like it was the texture of caramel. And the strawberry was way way way too sweet. Very sugary and not very creamy. I will say that the ambiance is nice. It's a nice place to go with the candy shop and the arcade, but the food isn't worth it.

First time there & the last time there. They tried to seat me at a table with the chair's seat higher then my rear end standing up. Informed them that I was uncomfortable at my age with my rear end higher sitting down then standing, it appears they have no concerns of Senior Citizens falling in their establishment. I was then seated in a booth where it was to dark to read a menu when you just came in from the bright sun light. Ordered the chili dog & soda with no ice. The chili was not spicy it was bland; this may be because there was to much tomato sauce or paste in the chili. The soda came with ice in it. Also got the house made chips, some of the chips had raw uncooked area, and the chips were not salted or seasoned. Would give no star, but the sytem needs a star to work, The food was not warm when it got to the table.

We had a small 3 topping pizza and garlic fries. The server was nice but looked awfully busy but from what I saw it only looked like she had only us and another table to take care of. There was a lot of other servers just standing around. They didn't check up on us until our food came out or when our cups were nothing but ice...service was so bad that this was my first time not tipping. 3 stars for the food.

I've been at this Me N Eds /Coney island location many times and have usually had average service. Unfortunately tonight was the worst I've ever had. My daughter and I went in and ordered a pizza and appetizers. After 5 mins we received our drinks (Dr pepper) and it was all carbonation . Told our waitress and she said soon as they change the soda she would bring more. Another 5 mins later we received our soda in to go cups because they had no clean glasses. Whatever I figured we will take the soda when we leave. We then waited another 27 mins for an appetizer or pizza. But nothing came out. The table behind us received there order (they came in 10 mins after we did). At that Pont 37 mins had passed. I waived down our waitress and told her I did not wish to wait any longer. I paid for the soda and left it there because it was still pretty much carbonated and I don't think they had changed it. Before leaving I told the manager(cute Asian girl) that our experience was pretty crappy. She said she would let the kitchen know but we all know that won't happen. Left there and went next door to 5 guys and got great, fast service. Sorry Coney island you guys were pretty shitty tonight.

Having grown up around Fresno, Me-n-Ed's is my husband's favorite nostalgic pizza. I don't share his enthusiasm. Still, every time we head back to the area, I know there will be at least one visit to a Me-n-Ed's. What I like about the Coney Island Grill is that they have so much more to offer than the pizza. I can get a nice sandwich, hot dog, or salad. And the kids can play in the arcade while we're waiting for food. But the dads of the family actually spend as much money in tokens on the skill games as the kids. There was one time my husband was playing the "cut the string" game to try to win an iPod Touch for the kids. He was making a lot of progress hacking at the string, but it wasn't breaking. After what I thought was too much investment, I suggested he cut his losses instead. His cousin put the very next token in, and finished off the string that Mr. M had been hacking away at for so long. So our nephew got the iPod instead. And I got in the doghouse. Damn. Service is okay, food is okay. But we do enjoy coming here. There is also a fun little play area for the toddlers right out front, and a groovy candy store with lots of old school treats.

We arrived around noon for a party of three. Despite all of the empty tables, we still had a 10 minute wait. The menu had a good variety -- pasta, burgers, hot dogs, pizzas and salads, to name a few. On top of that, they've got an extensive ice cream based dessert menu. My Prime Rib Dip was tasty and of good portions. The Mudslide Sundae for dessert will have me coming back.

We just had a birthday party here for my son. Fantastic! Great pricing structure with a private room included. Wow - $.49 ice cream!!! Management was easy to work with and the food and service was great of course. The game room and candy store made for a great party with very little effort on our part. Yet another reason to come here.

Food good: its pizza, burgers, and hotdogs, deserts. Nothing fancy about it, its fun fair/carnival food. What we do like is the out door seating. It a great spot to people watch. Order some food and drinks and sit back. The best item here is the funnel cake; you have to try the funnel cake.

Beyond disappointed!!!! I've been a loyal delivery customer to this place even through there RUDE employes that answer the phones, or through them ALWAYS messing up my order! Yesterday they forgot half my order I called in spoke with a manager named Mike (he was very understanding and was professional about it and told me it would be comped) ....so I call today and ordered my meal besides it taking the employee 20minutes just to "type double patty" she charges me for what was suppose to be free due to not receiving it yesterday. I ask to speak to the manager she transferred me to June a female manager there, talk about unprofessional not only did she say it wasn't comptd she made me feel like a liar. customer service must mean NOTHING to her! Before hanging up on me June said "I will try and get in contact with him to confirm this" and she hung up!!!!!! NO RESPECT! Didn't even ask if I still wanted to pursue my order I was placing!!!! TOTALLY MAD!

Their pizzas are salty and otherwise bland. The staff seemed distracted and inattentive and the food took a long time to arrive.

This place was ok.. Had a large selection on the menu.. I ordered hot wings for a app and cheese ravioli with a side salad.. Wings were supposed to be buffalo, but they tasted like they had a sweet sauce on them.. Ravioli was ok, nothing special.. Everyone around us was ordering pizza, we should have done the same! Not sure if i will ever be back since i came here while visiting..

Maybe 3.5 stars Some of you may think this is a little generous, but I'm thinking for the type of food this is, it's spot on. It doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't, and the restaurant really succeeds in many different areas. It was date night, and my husband got to pick everything! We saw the Avengers and he picked Coney Island for dinner. I would probably not choose this on my own, but it was his day. Service: Really good. Seated immediately, drinks immediate, food came scarily fast, drinks never empty (I don't think we required any refills, but one was offered), Server was polite and kind - definitely not over the top, but efficient and polite - that's all I really require (serving has a way of sucking the "nice" out of people, especially at places catering to families with needy kids-been there, done that- so I certainly don't need my ass kissed). The food came out a little disjointed. One thing at a time, carried by a different food runner each time. My husband got his cup of soup a few minutes ahead of my salad and I got my fish a few minutes ahead of his ribs. A little weird - but it all came out so fast it wasn't an issue at all. Food: Eh, but not my thing. My husband was SUPER happy. He got a banana shake, a full rack of ribs (really, don't order the full rack. It was very Flinstone-esque) with mashed potatoes, and clam chowder. banana shake: the one thing my husbnd didn't like. I agree. It tasted like banana milk, too much milk, not enough ice cream Clam chowder: he loved it. I got one bite. It was fine Ribs: Ridiculously huge. I think he was embarassed. He said they were delicious. I didn't taste. Mashed potatoes: I thought they were gross. He ate them but wasn't raving. There was a glue-ish consistency. I ordered the Fish n' chips with garlic fries and a salad with bleu cheese. Oh and iced tea (which was good - tasted fresh brewed, not out of a machine). Fish n' chips: fish was good and HOT, but it was just regular frozen fish. Nothing special and I didn't expect anything special. It probably could have used another minute in the fryer, it was more bendy than crispy. The sauces were good though. garlic fries: weird. The fries were good and crispy, but coldish. Like they sat there waiting for the fish, which I don't get because it was ready in like 5 minutes, so I'm thinking they just have fries ready at all time. Oh and the garlic was just a clump on one side in the corner (fail). Salad: fresh and tasty blue cheese I think this place would be great for families and for a game. Good atmosphere for kids. It was loud, but that's what I think it's supposed to be. Everything was super fast (Saturday night around 6:30) so I wouldn't worry about bringing my 2 year old here. I know it's a pizza place and neither my husband and I ordered pizza, so that's why I really wasn't tough on the food. No reason to be. Is it really a 4 star restaurant - no, but it delivers on what it tries to be. A family restaurant with fair prices and quick service. I also would totally have had cocktails there if I could have. Very reasonably priced and they had some yummy looking things.

Was surprised to see how spacious this place is . . . I'd seen the walk-up window and figured that the inside wasn't much bigger. Quite an extensive menu, but we weren't very adventurous and stuck to pizza as we had a buy one, get one free coupon. The pizzas had the thin crispy crust for which Me-n-Eds is known. Ordered the Tuscan signature pizza w/ linquica, pepperoni, sausage, red peppers, artichoke hearts and green onion. Delish!

My main reason for wanting to eat here was for the calm chowder bread bowls that you get in the coast areas. I was sadly disappointed to see how small the bread bowl was. ): It was tasty non the less.

Today was our first time eating here. we wanted to take my son out to celebrate his High Honor Roll award and my husband heard about this place. we took a look at it online and it looked fun. Well service was great, i love our waiter, she was sweet and kept on checking up on us. we had no idea what to order so we just got Calamari for an appetizer which wasn't that great but then i expected it just cuz of the place, also ordered 2 pizza one cheese and the other olive, mushroom and pepperoni topping, and a sour dough clam chowder bowl. The pizza slices i ate was a bit burnt so i wasn't happy. but my son and daughter did enjoy the clam chowder. The Arcade---- well well well it was a mad house. kids trying to climb some machines, kicking the machines and playing inside the machines. It was crazy. i suggest them having a super visor inside the arcade. Also the arcade was small. i should had just went to john incredible's. It was a experience for my family and i would eat here again to just try out other foods on the menu.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!!! Went here for my homey Jeff's birthday today and I thought I would bring a coupon from my many coupon books. One was for free pizza, the other was for a pound of hot wings. The pizza sounded like the best deal, so I brought that one. When I ordered the pizzas they told me they dont take the coupon anymore because the pizza prices changed. Kinda weird since the coupon is from the brand new 2011 entertainment book and me n eds has been doing the ten dollar pizza thing for quite a while now, probably before the coupon was printed. I asked if they would accommodate me and treat it as the hot wings coupon. they would not. My wife enjoyed her steak salad. Can't comment on the food since i didn't eat.

Below average service, below average pizza, overpriced for the quality provided, only good thing was the atmosphere. Replace the pizza with papajohns, and the service of Chica-a-filla and then you have a great start.

Food was marginal, no kids menu evident, no "lighter menu items", no nutritional info for menu items. Service was barely marginal. When I asked the waitress what was on the lighter side on the menu, her answer was "I'm not sure." After she brought the salad I ordered and hot dog my son ordered, she returned a few minutes later and asked how was everything? I said it would be great if I could get a fork! Totally clueless. I guess I should have ordered a pizza and a beer...

Went here for a birthday party. We had one of those back rooms reserved. The service was absolutely horrible. I couldn't believe it. We were treated like crap. I had to get up constantly to get drinks, plates, napkins, and orders from the bar. To top it off, I didn't even get a tip. I left pissed off and angry. ruined the rest of my night. The food is usually great. My kids love the games. If we return to this place, I will definitely have a talk with the manager first. I am so sick and tire of bad service. This is becoming a common place at many restaurants we go too. I go out for service, not to keep getting up to wait on myself and my people. Ok, I'm done. I feel better now.

  • Dina O.

I agree with the previous reviewers. The service here is awful. Starting with the hostess who was a complete zombie and seemed confused at the whole concept of greeting customers and taking them to a table. Our waitress spent the majority of the time at the bar talking to other customers and did not check on our table even once. They brought our appetizer out with our meal which defeats the whole purpose of a STARTER. Our server's reason for doing it was lame. Sorry but excuses are crap. I work hard all week and make no apologies for expecting others to take there job seriously. The final straw was when my husband had to get up to refill his own drink and then interrupt our servers conversation at the bar to get our change that we had been waiting for for ten minutes. Me n eds needs to grasp the idea of proper table service or stick to their original pizzerias where customers order at the counter and basically serve themselves.

We have been ordering delivery pizza for years from Me-N-Ed's; their prior location a block away and now this one. We have always liked their pizza but over the last two months the quality has greatly deteriorated. Our last three pepperoni pizzas have been made with very little cheese and to add insult, the pizza last night only had FIVE pieces of pepperoni. We also ordered a Valley Veggie and for some reason, only half of the pizza had vegetables on it. The other half just the white sauce. What were they thinking?? The crusts are now very soggy where once they were crisp. Needless to say, this is the last time we will order pizza from them.

Three stars for this location. Based on their poor customer service, I should give them 1 star. However, the pizza has never let me down, so 3 stars for that. During my most recent visit, I called them to see if the coupon I had was applicable to delivery pizzas. The employee wasn't sure so she asked what kind of coupon it was, where it came from, etc and then placed me on hold to inquire. When she came back on the line I was told the coupon only applied to carry out. I said ok and placed my order for carry out. I arrived 20 minutes later to pick up my pizzas and presented my coupon. I was then told that they were no longer accepting that particular coupon even though it wasn't expired. What really bugged me was that I called to ask about it previously and the person on the line made no mention of it being discontinued. This is an example of poor communication between employees and management. They need to work on their organization skills. Bottom line: food is good, but always double check if you're using a coupon or special promotion.

I've had better experiences here in the past... In 2009 or so. Came back a month or two ago and wanted to leave. Service: The service was terrible, almost unprofessional. They missed a lot of simple things, such as giving us straws, napkins, or checking on us. There was a huge group with little kids right by us, screaming, crying, shrieking etc. Not pleasant. The staff seemed to be delivering pitcher after pitcher of soda and beer to that table, seeming to hardly notice we were there. After a long wait, we finally got our food and another waitress who seemed more attentive took our former waitress's place. Thank the heavens. Food: Despite the unacceptable service, the food was very good. I got the chili bread bowl. I know, I know, it's a chain restaurant and whether it's homemade or not I'm not sure... but chili like that deserves a five star. Sadly, the service was so poor I must deduct three stars for another experience before this where it took us over an hour to get our food. My dad also got sick from this place one of those times. We haven't been back since then and I doubt we will. Atmosphere: It wasn't very clean. It's very spacious and the weird part is, except for that one huge group we were one of few other diners. The decor is like that of many Me-N-Eds... Like they are trying to seem like a classy restaurant.

Both of Evil's fans could quickly tell you that Evil is no fan of Me-n-Ed's. There's no need to go into the reasons why in this space, but suffice it to say that I never voluntarily eat Me-n-Eds. Never. Imagine my evil surprise when I ate at Me-n-Ed's Coney Island Grill! Evil hates Me-n-Ed's pizza, but for some reason, it just tastes better here. Go figure! Combine that with the ample tv's to watch the latest in musical theater...um...I mean sporting event, the fun arcade and the beer, and good times will be had by all. Evil is a fan!

I have gone here three times. Only once have I had an enjoyable meal. 1st time, corn dog was frozen and they never cooked a new one or told us they weren't going to bring a new one. 2nd time, gave them a second chance. Ordered sandwiches and the were good. The service was so-so. 3rd time, we ordered from the take out outside. My wife and I both ordered a slice of pizza. My wife wanted her's reheated because she likes it very hot. After fifteen minutes of waiting we tried to ask the cashier if we could get our pizza, either she was ignoring us or completely oblivious. By this time I have finished my slice and my wife goes inside to ask the hostess for her slice. The cashier forgot about it and burnt it to a crisp so she puts a new one in and gives it to us.... luke-warm. We are not going back here, we are going to stick to the original pizza shops. Awful service, average food, average price.

Me and my little one head here almost every week. Saturday afternoon kinda crazy with the birthday party's going on but it a pizza place for kids. Service is great every time very clean. Food is great pizza, sandwichs,Burgers everything I've tried I have enjoyed. Great place for kids. Main reason I keep going back is the service. Do wish they had WiFi

4 stars might be a stretch so I left it at 3, even though the BBQ Chicken Salad is so good. 3.5 stars might be more accurate because there is a good variety on the menu. The burgers are good, the pizza is not bad (thin crust), the people are friendly, and the location is perfect when you are looking to grab a bite before/after a movie.

The food is pretty good, the service...every time is AWFUL! For example, (and this review is based on several experiences) my husband and I were going to see a movie two days ago and wanted to get something quick so we went to the outdoor window to order two hot dogs. It was a Tuesday so it was not busy but the young girl at the register took forever to get to the window to take our order. We ordered a Windy City Dog and a Bratsbomber, she told me it would take 6 minutes which was fine so paid and sat down to wait. Ten minutes later, she called us over to say that the Bratsbomber was not longer on the menu and they just needed to get the menu changed. That was fine, so we ordered a corn dog because we thought it would be quick. Ten more minutes (20 minutes later for those who are counting) go by and she calls us over to get the hot dogs. I then asked her if I would get the $1.50 back since the corn dog was cheaper than the Bratsbomber, she went "......ugh....you need to give me a few minutes." No problem, we sat down and ate and came back to the window. She completely ignored us, helped the other one guest she had and shut the window again. We weren't going to be late for our movie for a $1.50 but come on? Shouldn't she have thought of that before I had to ask and then even when I did ask she made it seem like I was inconveniencing her!! I never did get my money back but whatever I had already spent 30 minutes there when I was only planning on spending 5-10 minutes. What a waste. The corn dog was fine and I love the Windy City dog which is the only reason we keep coming back. I would not suggest this place to people who are easily offended or people who are expect high school aged children to care about you or your order. She took 15 minutes to warm up a piece of pizza for the lady behind us who was trying to get to the same movie.... Food...okay and inexpensive Serivce...awful awful awful Atmosphere...fun, they have an arcade inside and a really good old fashioned candy shop connected to the back Overall: worth it if you have plenty of time and don't care about bad service.

The Me-n-Ed's Coney Island Grill is an inviting, warm bar/grill with televisions playing sports and comfortable dining. It was a great atmosphere and the staff was nice, although slow in some instances. The food was wonderful in quality, but for the money I paid, not worth it at all. We got Fried Zucchini and a Large Pizza-- the Pizza was somewhat reasonably priced considering who we were getting it from, but the Zucchini came down to a dollar a piece... 7 dollars for 7 fried Zucchini. Looking across the rest of the menu I saw that nearly everything was overpriced from their alcohol to their wings to their appetizers. I cannot say that the experience was a bad one, but my wallet is a lot lighter than I would have liked. If you've got money and don't mind letting go of it for a little bit of good food, then Coney Island is for you-- however, for me, I'd rather get more for the money I spent, or spend less money for the same amount of food.

This place is pretty good, although I have to agree with everyone on the bad service. I've yet to receive "good" service here. The food is pretty good overall. The things that stick out in my mind are the clam chowder bread bowel and the pizza. It's no Splash Cafe, but it's pretty good. Since the pizza is Me N Eds it's really good! All they have to do is work on the service.

Firstly, Me&Ed's Pizza is the 'Best of Crust' & "Supreme of Seasoning' in all of the central San Joaquin Valley! Also, for several years now, I have given my children' birthday parties here, and EVERY time the management and the staff have excelled in their service, the food is consistently EXCELLENT, and not to mention the awesome specials that they are constantly offering to keep up with the tough economic times. Also, one MUST try their garlic fries and garlic chicken wings- the best in Fresno. For dessert, their GELATO is rockin' and their funnel cakes take your senses to the sweet memories of boardwalks and amusement parks!!! The fact that they offer a walk up window for the times that you are in a hurry and don't want yucky 'fast food', but rather good food fast and affordably- this is GENIUS. Lastly, you can't beat their location, location, location- in the middle of all of the best shopping, dining and entertainment that Fresno has to offer.

Sunday night late dinner, same slow service and pizza barely passing the warm enough mark. Barmaid took care of my table... what's wrong in this picture again!? Customers coming in an hour before closing time are left outside. Staff was kept busy cleaning and not paying attention to customers. Management should really take a look at their business model. This was my second and final visit.

Normally the service here is bad, but came on a Sunday and was helped by a waitress named Sara. She was quick to take our order and even refilled our drinks without being asked too. Have to give her props as the place was packed. Pizza is good as always. Hopefully the service will continue to be better.

My family enjoys Me 'n Eds pizza so, when my grandchildren were in Fresno for the holidays, we went to their grill in River Park so we could have good pizza and the kids could enjoy the gaming arcade. We went on Wednesday night at 6:00 so there wasn't a crowd. There were nine of us and we enjoyed the private room which was quiet enough for conversation. After being seated we waited a loong time for a waitress to take our orders. Then began another loong wait for the pizzas to arrive. One of our party had to leave without eating. When the food was finally served, all the pizzas were cold. As I was paying the check, I intended to add 15% tip (because the waitress was really very nice even though we saw her only a few times) instead of the usual 20% for good food as well as good service. As I was computing 15% of a rather long bill, I noticed that a tip had already been included in the bill. All things considered, this wasn't an experience I care to repeat.

so two of the reviewers of the establishment downgraded their scores b/c of service issues so may i offer my advice..."F! the service problems and go to their walk up window where you can order pizza by the slice/hand dipped corn dogs(excellent although you never know if you are going to get a big weenie or not. have gotten what seemed to be foot longs and some that definitely were not. hey size does matter when it comes to corn dogs!), super delsh shoestring fries(dip them in ketchup AND mustard)/ice cream cones/etc. and sit outside and watch the freak show as you eat. i have come to find out that this is the best way to eat here because i too have had some not so great service here. what can you really say about that though since there are a lot of high school age employees here.

The food was great. My kids hasda slice of cheese pizza. Couldn't go wrong. The slices were so BIG, one slice feed two of my three kids. I opted for the chili dog. It was good. We sat outside in the cool weather. This reason why they only got 3 stars was the service. These little twits that were working the walk up window were just rude and was more into talking to eachother instead of provide good service to the public.
