This review is for the delivery service. Rosati's has an online ordering system through Yelp which is pretty easy to navigate. You make your selections, enter credit card info (it automatically saved for future purchases) and they supposedly send you an email...I haven't received one yet however it may be associated with my defunct email account. I like that it comes promptly-both times I've gotten the delivery within the hour and the food was fresh and hot. The food itself is pretty basic-I've only had the pasta (chicken parm) and the breaded mushrooms. It's exactly what you think it will be when it arrives and there isn't any surprises. Yes, I can and have made much better pasta at home however this is a quick, cheap, and easy dinner delivery. At some point I will try the pizza but I'm pretty sold on the pasta for now.

Go there almost every Tuesday... buy one get 1/2 off second. Try the Cheef a Italian beef with cheese and load it with Gardenara . So good with a brew..

So glad I gave this place a shot! The crust here is HEAVENLY! Unfortunately I'm a total carb-avor so I can get pretty pretty pretty picky when it comes to my crust and this place is on my happy list. The crust is always naked to perfection, and never burned. I know they told us that they had some complaints so now they pull it out early, so whatever they are doing now is totally working! My fiancée and I always get ravioli as well and I love it! The inside of the Rav is the perfect combination of ricotta and seasoning. Only downside-they are a little pricy for the size of what you get! The Rav comes in a small container, and the Parmesan that comes with the food is in sad little packets. Instead of the box having the "save 10 of me and get a free pizza" token magpies has, it has a "save 12 and get 50% of". All in all this place is great for a lazy night at home, and as always , I recommend you order dessert!;)

We ordered the Rosatis monster deep dish pizza to go this past weekend, we were told it would take 15 minutes, and it actually took 30 minutes :( the pizza was good, not great, the crust was a bit thick, but tasty, I wasn't crazy about the sauce, but the meats were good. It was just ok. It was also expensive for a pizza. There was a nice outside sitting area where we waited with our dog.

The fact that they deliver is a bonus and they have lots of options on the menu but...with a one item kids pizza you cannot add another item even for more money and the flavor a were only okay.

I ordered food to be delivered and they took the money out of my account but never showed up with my food and every time I called the line was busy. Never ordering from here again!

I really tried to give this place a chance. I have ordered from them 3 times. I had found them on Yelp because they were the only place that would deliver, that had salads. The first, time I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and a personal pizza for my children to split. For the price of the salad the chicken and cheese seemed lacking. At another restaurant, for a dollar or two more, I can get the same salad with much more to it. It also, had the powdered mozzarella instead of the usual shredded mozzarella. The personal pizza was very good the crust was just right and seasoned perfectly just the right amount of cheese and sauce to it. the next time I ordered we had the kids meal hot dogs and french fries and another chicken Caesar salad. The hot dogs had a chewy texture to them almost like they been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. The fries also seemed very stale and did not have a crunch to them. I was hoping this time the salad would be fuller but it was not. The last time I ordered was a thin crust pizza with cheese and pepperoni and a Mediterranean salad. The pizza was good as always in the Mediterranean was a little bit better than the chicken Caesar but still seem to lack in toppings. If you're looking for an expensive place to eat pizza, I would definitely recommend going here. Anything else is not good, by any means.

Rosatis pizza ROCKs!!! We're from Chi town and really know our pizza from there to here. Must order the classic (w/substitutes if you wish), the thin crust is supreme and Mark is the best pizza maker on earth. You go Mark, we're on our way in to pick up our pizza. Max and Norm

I have been eating at Rosati's in IL since 1975 and have always been a fan. Have had Glutne Free & Dairy Free pizza here several times during my most recent visit to my mom's here in Tucson, and every time it has been wonderful. The only reason I am not giving the place 5 starts it that I would love to have Gluten Free Pasta or a sandwich with Gluten free bread as an option

Stopped in over the weekend and had wings and pizza. Wings were very meaty, but even asking for them to be extra crispy, they came out pretty much regular. We got hot and mild, the hot wasn't very hot, but they were tasty. We got a pan pizza and it was very good, not the best pizza I have ever had but definitely better than any chain pizza by far.

Tucson is not a pizza town. They try, but we haven't found a good consistent pizza joint on the NW side. Thus our irregular quest found us at Rossatti's on Ina. A storefront in a strip shopping center. Small dine-in area with a big screen TV AND local craft brew on tap (very nice!). Not just pizza on the menu, that's a plus too. Prices are pretty moderate. We got dinner salads and a 14" cracker crust Hawaiian. We're not fans of the cracker crust, but we were hungry and the cracker crust cooks quicker. Tasty. We're giving Rossatti's a probationary passing grade and want to give the thicker crust options a try in the future. We'll be back.

Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. If you were to ask my kids, this pizza is the greatest...but so is everything else that remotely resembles pizza. The hubs agrees with the kids and I'm the lone island of dislike. I have ordered maybe 5 times from this place so the most simple thing for me to do is give you the reasons why I keep ordering from a place I don't personally like. The convince of ordering is just awesome. They are linked to GrubHub and despite a few kinks in items offered. Like Coke when they really have Pepsi. I'm ok with that, Pepsi fan. The family gobbles the food up like crazy and I always get something I will at least -try- .... The things it have tried: pizza of course, not the deep dish. The crust is thin and crispy and square cut, large slices. A lot of toppings! All these things sound pretty good, right? I'm not a fan of the taste. I got excited to see a chicken Alfredo pizza but the chicken is not fresh and the Alfredo is bland, the saving grace is the sliced onions. Wings, I don't feel like the wings are fresh ... frozen maybe? Either way, they are hit or miss for me and the ranch does not taste amazing though it is a prepackaged deal. So the saving grace of anything should be desert? No, Eli's Cheesecake, you deceived me. For a restaurant that serves what appears to be prepackaged frozen food, I don't know why I thought this would be any different. So after all this, it's quite obvious I'm not the biggest fan. The flavors are not up my alley and something just does not make me feel good about eating the food. However, I will continue to order from here because my family does enjoy eating here. I hope I will find a menu item I can fall in love with and I will certainly update. Until that time enjoy some pictures and happy eats!

This chain began in Chicago, and they actually used the word giardiniera on their menu, so I had moderate hopes for an alright Italian beef, which is something I've been missing since moving here from Chicago. Points for actually dipping the sandwich... no other restaurant that offers "Italian beef" has done this for me yet, but they did call me and ask me to confirm what the heck I meant (delivery order obviously). That's alright, I suppose it's an unusual thing in these parts that they don't get much call for. However, the bread they use here is soft rather than a dense roll like they use even at the same chain in Chicago, so it doesn't hold up to the dip and falls apart when soaked. I was still satisfied, and I expect I'm searching for something that simply doesn't exist in this city. So this was close enough, but would not have gotten anywhere near as high of a rating from me in the home of the sandwich. They offer other Chicago style staples (pizza and hot dogs), so I'm curious to try those as well, but don't have highest expectations.

Let's see. A couple good things and a couple challenges when dealing with Rosati's Pizza on Ina. The challenges would be mostly with their online ordering process. Easily done, but they definitely need to work on a few ordering hiccups. As mentioned previously, Rosati's, do not put Pepsi products on the menu if you have no intention of selling those products. Providing a Coke as replacement was not acceptable. Having the delivery driver question me on Pepsi products even being on the menu only makes it a difficult situation. It was there and that's why I ordered it. Take it off the menu. Easy as that. Also, on their website I was offered a $5.00 off coupon for any order over $15.00. I thought this was a very nice offer. It came wonderfully fast in an email and I was able to use it immediately for my order. Well I thought so anyway. When you get to the point of ordering online when they ask for a Promotion Code be aware that the code may not work, as mine didn't... so, make sure you indicate in the comments section that the code did not work. I was pleased to had seen the $5.00 taken off when the food arrived. Also, I ordered the food almost two hours out and it came 15 minutes before my scheduled time, which was nice. The big no-no is having the option of either giving out your credit card before the online transaction is complete or it saying something like "pay upon receipt"... which I took to mean, pay with either credit card or cash when the food arrives. I chose the latter. There was a bit of confusion and some frustrating comments between the delivery driver and myself as to why I didn't provide my credit card when placing the order. He called it in on his cell phone and the transaction was completed. Very confusing. The driver needs to be trained in not questioning the customer's ordering ability versus how to order off a confusing website. Let's see on the food. The bacon-mushroom cheeseburger was big and tasty, if somewhat sloppy. There wasn't much bottom bun to speak of. Not many ingredients on it, but it was acceptable, if a tad overpriced. Almost $10.00, I would hope there would be a big pile of the good stuff of mushrooms, bacon and cheese provided. A little bit of lettuce, tomato and onion on the side. Not even a pickle spear. meh. The onion rings were good. It would have been nice if the honey mustard I ordered would have been included in the order. I ordered the chocolate chip cheesecake too. Be aware it's ok... but, hardily only a few bites. Tiny for the price. So... all in all. It was ok for the $16.00 plus $4.00 tip... only because they graciously provided the $5.00 off coupon, but for anymore than that, I wouldn't order again from there.

For pizza in Oro Valley this is a good option. On my pizza scale it's not as good as Sargent Pepperoni's & it's way better than Mama's. Located in the same center as Cici's, it's toward the back. There's not a huge dining area and I wouldn't suggest walking in to place your pick-up order. Call it in first. Although, sports on the TVs in the dining area make it so it would be a nice place to have a couple of beers and slices ad watch a game as you waited for pickup. Service was very friendly and facilities were clean.

I'm from Chicago. I know what Chicago style deep dish is supposed to look like. This is NOT "Chicago style deep dish pizza". What this is, is a laughably weak _attempt_ at Chicago style deep dish pizza. One that smacks of a chain eager to cut corners. Why make a real Chicago style pizza when you can save 30 cents worth of mozzarella and just *say* you make it? You know, there are surprisingly few things that are less enjoyable than being ripped off on a pizza. It's like being murdered in the face, but worse--Like being set on fire first, then murdered in the face. It's that extra effort that so many places don't bother putting in that sets Rosati's apart. They go that extra mile to make you that much more unhappy. Crazy as it may seem, some of us in this day and age still actually expect to recieve what we order. In my case, I ordered a 12" "deep dish" (airquotes intentional) pizza with pepperoni and double-extra cheese. What I recieved was entirely different---A box full of pure fail with extra sadness and despair. I got out a tape measure. I literally got out a goddamn tape measure and measured this $22 gem. Photographed it, even: i.imgur.com/KKvd9.jpg That's Rosati's idea of a deep dish pepperoni and double-extra cheese. Thats right....only 7/8" deep. And now you know. Now you know you should shake that little packet of hermetically sealed parmesan cheese on your pizza so you can double the amount of cheese you get. F*#$ you, Rosati's.

I have no idea how this place gets 4 and five star reviews. First off, it is very expensive compared to other (and much better) pizza places. I ordered a 12" thin crust pizza. The crust was crumbly and tasted like a saltine cracker. It was just loaded with gobs and gobs of toppings (pizza is all about the bread). The crust did not stand up to the toppings and just fell apart. It might as well as just served a pile of toppings in a cup and eaten it with a spoon. As far as taste, it was mediocre at best. I have eaten commercial frozen pizzas that were much better. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiana. This was served on a small, flimsy plastic plate with a very cheap plastic fork (think Walt-Mart's cheapest). This is a heavy dish, so attempting to pick it up caused the plate to immediately bend in half, contents falling on the table. Eating it with the plastic fork was very challenging. The Chicken was nothing more than a frozen, breaded, deep fried, chicken patty. It was soft, oily (rancid tasting) and very unappetizing. The pasta was overcooked and broke into small pieces when trying to eat it (so don't think about twirling the pasta with your fork). If one were to take some cheap pasta and boiled the dickens out of it, then slapped on the cheapest jarred sauce, tossed a chicken patty in a deep fryer with unhealthy oil, you would have what they serve at Rosati's. There is no ambiance in the place. The place is small with hard tables and chairs. No decor. Cold and unwelcoming. The kind of place that encourages the patron to quickly eat and get the heck out. Rosati's was one of the very few restaurants that I have ever gone, where I actually felt cheated. This place needs to go out of business... Fast. I went to Rosati's after seeing the high ratings on YELP. To all of you that have been giving this place the "two thumbs up", please have your thumbs severed off, as you apparently have no taste and do not know what good food tastes like. Eat at this place ONLY if you like crappy Italian food. This review may seem harsh, but it is actally much worse, and I've been very kind in my review.

FIVE-STAR-PIZZA!!! (Chicago Thin-Crust Style) Rosati's NAILED-IT, the sauce is the best I've tasted in years (rivaling Little Joe's in San Francisco). The crust is the thinnest I've seen (since Lombardi's in Lower Manhattan). The sausage, simply the best; mushroom, pepperoni - great. I have to admit, I was surprised to see such thin crust (and the 'square-cut' oval shape pie), but man, was it good! I even looked up 'Chicago style pizza' on Wikipedia, to confirm what makes pizza 'Chicago Style' (I've always thought it meant thick-crust, deep-dish, or stuffed crust): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch… Way to go, Rosati's! I'll be back.

I've occasionally ordered pizza from Rosatis over the last couple of years, and the Chicago style thick crust pizza was fantastic! Unfortunately, the last few times I've ordered it ( in 2011) the crust is tough and way overcooked, and there seems to be less cheese than before. The thin crust pizza was good, though really nothing special. I wish I could trust this place and try it again, but the quality has really seemed to have slipped. You can probably spend half as much for mediocre pizza across the parking lot at Cece's Pizza instead of here. Too bad, this place used to be great.

Quiet and clean place with free wifi. I cannot recommend the pizza since I've never had it; however, in my humble opinion they have one of the best Italian Beef sandwiches ever. Good size and nice crunchy bread that that does not get overly soggy. They offer a lunch special that comes with fries and a drink. Pricing is s little above average, but not outrageous. For those that care, they offer a gluten free crust on their pizzas.

NEVER order delivery from this place. We placed an order on a "busy night" and were told 1-1.5 hours, I called after an hour and 40 minutes to check on our order and was told that there was no record of our ticket or credit card receipt even though our bank had been debited the amount quoted to me upon ordering. The manager offered no help or explanation other than to call back on Monday when the transaction was no longer pending. ?!?!?!?

This is a small place that accommodates dine in with a long booth and several tables. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. The menu is quite large considering how small the place is. I ordered the eggplant with spaghetti and so did my guest. It came out very hot and the server told us to be careful. I am glad for the heads up as I don't like to burn my tongue. I was very pleased with my order and so was my guest. The food is very good and the price is reasonable. I will come back to try other items on the menu. Also the server was very polite

Our most recent experience was this summer. Both kids got spaghetti, one with meat marinara, one with no sauce and they both loved theirs. I had the meat lasagna and it was excellent. The breadsticks were perfect and all this was delivered. I had enough left over to make a second meal the next day. But I forgot I had it in the fridge so it wasn't until the day after that I re-heated it for lunch. It was still just as good. Yeah it was a bit pricey but worth it since I could not drive due to surgery on my elbow. I would order delivery again and dine in as well.

This place is "so-so". Not great, not amazing, certainly not the best in Tucson. But if you are having a party, or need a last minute pizza, it will do. I ordered a 14 inch thin crust for delivery. First off- $5 extra to deliver, not cool. Pizza was good, crust was ok, good sauce. No real complaints but not fantastic. The person taking my order told me that on Sundays you can get .25 cent wings, so what the heck, I order a dozen. They were pretty average. You could tell they were frozen/premade and then tossed in sauce. The ranch that came with was typical packaged ranch. And, a personal pet peeve, they cut their pizza in squares, not triangles. I hate that. But, like I said, it's a chain, and it will do- if you have to. But don't expect the greatest meal ever. You will be disappointed.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
