    Doesn't matter if the food is good or not, the insufferable woman who runs the waiting list will take the gloss off of any meal. This is a "never go back" place for me. There are plenty of good steaks in Northwest Arkansas (try Doe's for example) without having to tolerate the attitude.

    Yep, pretty good steak. Of course, they go from an 12 dollar hamburger steak, to 34+ tenderloins without anything in between. My tenderloin was very good - a substantial cut with little fat or gristle. Seating was old and not terribly comfortable, and the greeter was a no-bullshit kind of woman. They also upcharged me 2 bucks for slightly different potatoes - like a $38 steak doesn't deserve its choice of spuds?

    I was in AR for business and happened upon this quaint steakhouse...amazing just about sums it up! Quite possibly the best steak I have ever had. It was cooked exactly how I ordered it, it was flavored to perfection. The server we had was very helpful in picking just the right foods from the menu. Mr B himself even came to our table to say hello - which was a real treat for us.

    Incredible meal! Mr and Mrs B were so nice. Walked in with 2 kids and there was no problem. My son made friends with everyone and keeps telling people about the restaurant. Filet was the best I have ever had

    This place is every bit as good as a "big city" steakhouse with better service and for less $. Loved the NY Strip and pecan pie for dessert. We'll be back next time we're in town to meet with our friends at Walmart!

    I have to agree with Chris.G about the woman that runs the place. For those going there for the first time watch for this woman with porcupine hair. She is such an insensitive and arrogant person. On the food front, we were a party of about 15 people and we were pretty amazed that they did not have most of the items on the menu. The place was mostly empty, yet they did not have enough shrimp cocktail, no ribs, no fish, and no creme brûlée. The waiter's response was something stupid that I can't even remember what it was. And it was only 7pm, on a Wednesday! In short, JUST DONT GO!!

    Very good local steakhouse that has been around for about 14 years. Had dinner here last night for a birthday, and the steaks (filet and NY strip) were excellent. They have the usual steakhouse sides as well, and a good wine list. My only critique of the steak menu is that they should include at least one or two bone-in cuts, such as a ribeye or porterhouse (for the selfish reason that this is what I typically order in nicer steakhouses). The restaurant does have a "homier" feeling compared to a lot of the newer restaurants in Rogers, which I like. Dark woods and red walls, classic steakhouse colors. The dining room is much more intimate and warm than, say, Ruth's Chris, and the crowd seems to consist more of locals, or locals entertaining out of town guests. I definitely prefer this place to Ruth's, for the overall dining experience. I've been to both about 3 times. The service was competent, fast, and friendly. The owner "Mrs. B" greets you at the door, and walks around to check on her guests during dinner. Definitely a local gem worth checking out for a special occasion!

    Delicious meal!!! Filet was fabulous and tender!!! Creme brûlée was delicious!! Very nice staff and atmosphere. I would recommend for a nice dinner.

    This place is WAY overpriced for what you get. If I am going to pay $33 for a ribeye, then it needs to be significantly better than a $18 ribeye from Outback. The outback ribeye is better. The garlic chicken was overcooked and dry and the flavors were really odd and not good in my opinion. It was a large serving though. The baked potato tasted like one I grabbed at the grocery store and pitched in the oven at home. The salad was good and very fresh although the selection of dressings was very limited. Ours had a lot of water still on the lettuce which watered down the dressing. An order of french fries for $4.50 fit onto a saucer and tasted like they came of a 3-pound bag that cost them $4.50. They tasted fine but wow, what a ripoff. Got a side of steamed vegetables that were prepared ok but not very flavorful. The bread and garlic butter they served was VERY good. The service was VERY attentive although once I asked for the check they start swarming the table taking away everything so quickly I lost my fork before I was quite finished. The restaurant is in a lovely old home that would have excellent ambiance if they didn't play old hippie music that felt really out of place. Songs like "Horse with no name" etc. aren't bad songs but your music should fit the restaurant. So, if you want some great bread, check them out. It's a shame because they seem like nice people.

    I've been here several times and I never fail to be impressed with the meal and the service. The wait staff is extremely nice and the hostess is always very nice as well. It's a bit of a small place but it has a very private, exclusive, and homey vibe. I really like this for this style of restaurant. In the foyer area, there is a nice large fish tank. I've never had to wait to be seated so I've starred at it from afar. My wife and I are creatures of habit. We've always ordered the filet. We've debated on trying the chicken but we always end up both getting the filet anyway. It's seasoned perfectly, juicy, cooked exactly how I want it, and tastes great. We have ordered a fire shrimp appetizer in the past, which I wish they'd keep on the menu permanently. I'm not sure that's the actual name, but it's what I remember it being. Like I said before, the wait staff is always nice. They are very attentive and anticipate needs. They also definitely carry a fine dining attitude about them, which I believe is appropriate considering the cozy atmosphere. It is a bit expensive. My wife and I nearly always spend about a Benjamin when we go (appetizer, 2 entrees, wine, shared desert). We go on special occasions and it's always worth it. There are, of course, cheaper things on the menu than the filet. But it's just so good I haven't tried anything else. I will next time, I promise.

    Once was enough! The filet I had was good but the atmosphere inside is horrible. We were moved three times because of swinging doors to the kitchen and the hostess acted like she was doing us a huge favor. If I wanted to see the kitchen while I was eating I would have stayed home. And the noise level was insane and it wasn't crowded. It felt like a bad carnival ride, all that was missing was loud jazz music. For the price go somewhere else, the old sane about dressing up a pig was proven by our first and last experience at Mr. B' Steakhouse.

    How is it that Mr B's has not yet been reviewed? Great steaks, great food, great service. Its located in an old house which gives it a more intimate feel. They have a great bar side as well as fine dining on the other side of the house, even some seating directly in front of the kitchen so you can see the chef's at work. Dress is more dressy than casual but both are ok. They have reopened recently for lunch and closed on Mondays all together.

    Horrible for "local" cuisine! We have attempted to dine here twice, and both time ended up wishing we spent our money somewhere else. We are "regulars" at a lot of places as we do not cook much for ourselves because of work schedules. This being said, we really wanted to like Mr. B's, but it has always been sub par with horrible customer service. If I can make a suggestion, try Doe's or Fred's for local (Doe's more for steak and Fred's for everything else). And if you insist on a chain, ruth's chris and bone fish are exceptable as well. If NWA is known for one thing, it is Beef, and unfortunately this place falls well short in the Quality and execution of the BEEF!

    Had an early dinner with my wife and son at Mister B's Steakhouse last night and it was a great experience. I had the medium size filet and it was ever so slightly overcooked (not enough to warrant sending it back) with a wedge salad a baked potato, My son had the large filet and it was cooked perfectly, while my wife had the ribeye. There was some upcharges for the twice cooked potato my son wanted and the wedge salad I wanted instead of the dinner salad which seems a little silly for the price of the meal but I was not upset about it. We had a nice bottle or wine, however, it was our 3rd choice as they were out of what we initially wanted. Overall the service was very good and the atmosphere nice, however, it was early in the evening so we were mostly alone. Will definitely keep it on our list of places to go back and visit.

    Couldn't be happier with our experience at Mr. B's! In seeing these Yelp ratings, I was expecting this great steakhouse to come with the pretense and stuffiness of Ruth's Chris. But I couldn't have been more wrong - this cozy little gem was the perfect spot for a comfortable date night. And the food, my goodness the food! We had an appetizer of crab cakes - lightly fried, large chunks of crab meat and a homemade remoulade sauce with the perfect tangy-to-creamy ratio. Next up, simple house salad with choice of four homemade dressings. I had blue cheese, my man had peppercorn; both were delicious! I ate every last bite, even though I knew the great feast was just beginning. While yes, they were out of the 10 ounce filets, it turned out that the 8 ounce filet was certainly more than enough food. And absolutely heavenly. My boyfriend and I each got the filet, and an order of marinated mushrooms to split. I typically hesitate over whether to order my steak medium or medium rare - every bite of the extremely tender, dark pink medium filet was heaven. Perfectly seared on the outside and buttery on the inside. The marinated mushrooms go uncontested as the best I've ever had. As a side, I had the twice-baked potato, he had the vegetable medley - both very good, but hard to even comment on when paired with those steaks. In an unbelievable show of perseverance (and a desire for the night not to end), we ordered dessert to top things off. There are three choices: molten lava chocolate cake, vanilla creme brulee and pecan pie. I asked our server which he liked best, he replied that the pecan pie was "life changing". Well that's an endorsement if I've ever heard one. One monster slice, warmed up, with what had to be small-batch churned vanilla ice cream, drizzled with caramel and dusted with powdered sugar...life-changing indeed! My boyfriend - who doesn't typically eat sweets - eyed the last bite like he might tussle with me for it. All his, because I got the bigger win - the recipe, hand-written, by Mr. B himself. I can't wait to attempt it! I have been blessed with more good meals in my life than any one person should have. This one makes the top 5. And with flawless, friendly service to boot - this place ought to be packed nightly (though I have to say, I'm rather glad it wasn't!). Needless to say, I highly recommend it.

    Had a ribeye steak, so tough I had to ask for a sharper know. Lousy selection of salad dressing. Very very high priced. Not worth it at all. I should have gone to Outback.

    I'm sure the steak is awesome but after walking into the dining area and spotting Bruce and PJ I walked up to the cooking counter and announced I was there for a birthday dinner with friends and I just happen to be a vegetarian. PJ immediately told me they would prepare a vegetable pasta dish and she would personally pick the fresh herbs from their landscaping outside. The pasta was angel hair with more perfectly cooked vegetables than I can remember and a wonderful light lemon caper sauce topped with all of those fresh herbs. It is possibly the best pasta dish I have ever had. The bleu cheese dressing on my salad was divine and the service was impeccable. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Oh, the pecan pie is life-changing.

    A five star is almost impossible to get out of me but this place is great! Bruce is a cool guy, great rub on his steaks, vegetables are cooked perfect, deserts are great, drinks are stiff, love it. Been there a dozen times and will definitely go back.
