The food was really good. Service was great. Our waitress made the meal very enjoyable. Some of the food on my plate was not hot enough. Perhaps put the green beans on the plate before my fried chicken was ready. Still very good meal.

Reclaimed wood + antlers + tiffany lights + southern food = granny's. We ate here twice in three days while on vacation with family. They serve large portions of simple food at very reasonable prices and are very popular with the locals. The fried chicken was delightfully crispy, and the mashed potatoes are real. The highlight was the twice-baked potato. They also had decent pie and I hear they serve a good breakfast.

This is a very cute, local cafe located on the famous Scenic Pig Trail. We stopped for a quick bite on our way to Eureka Springs. It was very full of local people at lunch which is always a good sign. My daughter loved her piece of homemade Mississippi Mud pie. I ordered green beans and cornbread. The beans tasted canned and the cornbread was a bit dry but my small lunch was not enough to judge the food. The lunch plates I saw on other tables looked hearty and good. The decor fits a Granny so it was a fun place to stop. I even bought a Granny mug! It was a nice break on our trip and a good "photo opp" moment.

Good food, decent serving size and friendly staff. Breakfast served until 11. Enjoyed the strawberry freezer jam.

I've been told, since my visit, that this play has the best fried chicken for miles so now I must go back. We ventured in on a Sunday on the way home from a weekend on the Buffalo and it was last call for breakfast so I enjoyed a big breakfast of eggs, biscuit and gravy, sausage, hash browns and pancakes. Great service and the waitress talked me into a homemade cinnamon roll for the road. It was huge (I actually ate it for dinner that night)

Sweet country atmosphere - food ok but not quite like going to your grandmothers - this place is subpar especially for the price - I can make a better burger and fries at home. The deserts are like the rest of the food bland and lacking. Three stars for cleanliness and staff friendly.

This is a great place to eat. Worth getting off the highway and going. Home cooked meals and the service is great.

Our breakfast was good, not great, but good. Our server was attentive, not overly or lacking, but just good enough. The Jelly was not jelly, but some sort of squirt out strawberry icecream topping. I'll eat here again if I am in the area, and I look forward to trying lunch and updating my review.

I enjoyed this place. I got a Western burger and French fries and they were great. I tried some of my sister's onion rings and they were just ok. We also got a slice of coconut cream pie and it was just ok. It wasn't bad, it just didn't taste like coconut. But overall I like this restaurant and will go back if I'm ever in the area.

Excellent breakfast. Home made hash browns are hard to beat, nice n crispy. Fresh biscuits and gravy are well made.

Home cookin'. We ate there for dinner and breakfast and dinner this weekend. Biscuits from scratch, GIGANTIC cinnamon rolls, homemade pies, and piles of food at reasonable prices. There's a gluten-free section of the menu, too-- "Papa" is apparently gluten-intolerant. Now that we know it's this good, we'll get off 412 more often to grab meal here. Recommended!

Passed by Granny's on a road trip in 2010 - maybe it was the angry rumbling in my belly, the dire need to get out of the cramped car, or the genuine hospitality oozing from every inch of this place, but I loved it. The entrees weren't quite memorable, but they were tasty nonetheless. I particularly remember the creamy mashed potatoes - I had been craving mashed taters for about three states. The best part about the joint is dessert. Do yourself a favor and nosh on an order of GRANNY'S FRIED BREAD - do it. It was so fluffy and crusty and doughy and sugary and oh my god. Four of us split one order, and we were all overdosed on sweet goodness by the end of it. After a terrible two days in Tulsa, passing through Huntsville left a smile on my face after I finally filled my belly at this local eatery. The women running the place were wonderful.

Took a nice little drive out to Huntsville to visit this classic country kitchen diner. Had the fried chicken (waitress mentioned it takes 30 minutes because they make it from scratch!) & I told her if it was going to take 5 minutes I would have cancelled my order! I LOVE scratch cooking! Awesome fried chicken & mashed potatoes & gravy! Had the homemade pumpkin pie & it was just delicious! Glad we went there! Worth every penny!
