This place is very clean, and the food tasted great. I ate a "Greek sausage" gyro and steak fries. The sausage was spicy as was told, but not salty. The heat was from crushed red pepper and wasn't too much. The taziki sauce was very good and helped cool the sausage a little. The service was fast and friendly, I will come again. Kent

Gyros supreme is always great. The onion rings are my favorite in Conway. Service has always been good. Wish they stayed open longer on weekdays.

We've been eating here for over 15 years. Beef/lamb gyros are great, very generous with the meat. Good burgers. Love their steak fries. Service has always been fast and friendly.

All I have to say is Roy Allen sandwich... Best spicy Italian sausage sandwich I have had. Great food and service.

I went there for lunch and had the beef/lamb gyro. Nothing extraordinary, it was ok. I love middle eastern food, to be more particular it's the pita bread that I love. Pita was soft and the white sauce tasted good. I would rate this restaurant average. Nothing to be blown away by.

You can't get better than this. The food is delicious. I had the gyro and the baklava and both were beyond outstanding. I cannot stress enough that the ingredients were of very fine quality and well prepared. What is far more important is the level of service. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked into the door we felt welcome. The staff was very friendly and inviting. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Our waiter checked in on us frequently to refill our drinks and make sure everything was great. The price point at Blackwood's is very low, but you will be treated like royalty when you go there. Frankly, I can't wait to go to it again. Loved the food and loved the people. It's a great hidden gem in Conway, AR. Stop by and check it out. They've got food for everybody there.

Never disappointed, very consistant quality and service. the prices are a bit high but right now I am having to re evaluate prices at places due to inflation. Get the Gyro w/ Sauce on side

Came in with a large group for lunch. Service was great! They handled a couple of special requests in stride. Was very attentive even with the place filling up with lunch customers. Food was as good as always. Will always be a regular.

My boys took me to Blackwood's for lunch, figuring I shouldn't leave Conway without trying a Greek gyros. There was a line of people waiting to pay when we got there..misleading to many as there's no one at the door to tell you to go sit down. I ordered the lamb/beef gyros and the boys got cheeseburgers..(I was happy to see they had hummus on the menu). My gyros was thick with slices of meat but unfortunately, the meat was a bit on the dry side. One of the hamburgers came with so much mustard it became inedible. I say no condiments on burgers..period. Let us mix and match at the table. The place is hopping for lunch and I'd be curious to taaste the Philly Cheesesteak but as for my gyros, I had become spoiled on the one I had at Chelsea's in Eureka Springs this past weekend. But I got spoiled on a lot of things there!

It's really a shame that I couldn't stick with my original review of Blackwood's. It really has been one of my favorite dining establishments in Conway. However, on our last couple of trips here, the food & service were nothing short of a big disappointment. The staff in general has always been a major drawback of the restaurant - this is not to say that I have never had a good server, I surely have. However, one more than one occasion, particularly this last one, our server's lack of, well, service, made our experience dismal. Drink orders forgotten, orders wrong, and empty drinks for over 5 minutes. The burger on the last trip had what appeared to be cooked, yet spoiled, meat. The employees were very loud and very inattentive to us and the other tables in the restaurant, who were more noticeably upset than were we. I really hope this place can do a 180 and go back to the Blackwood's I know...and 5-starred.

Every time I dine here I know I won't be disappointed. I always get the gyro supreme. The hummus is great and you should definitely try the feisty feta dip. It's my absolute favorite out of everything there! I always leave Blackwoods full and happy!

Great sandwich's and salads, Gyro's are great too, They also have the best ice! Now the bad! Not friendly, over priced, had a employee chase me across parking lot because he forgot to charge me for a cookie! Not in a good location for parking.

We always continue to go back to this place so I guess that says a lot. Their food is really good and one of the more healthier choices in Conway these days. The prices seem a little high to me and the staff in my opinion is not the friendliest in the world. In fact, my husband bought a chocolate chip cookie with our to-go order one time and they put two in our bag. A guy that works there literally chased my husband to the car as if HE had taken it. It was crazy. Anyway other than that the food is pretty good. I like their grilled chicken sandwiches and my husband loves the gyros.

Every time I go to Blackwood's I know I can expect good food and service. Being a vegetarian my dining options can be quite limited depending on the place, and Blackwood's isn't an exception, unfortunately. However the two vegetarian entrees (falafel and a veggie gyro) are amazing!

I got the Italian beef sandwich which was delicious. Came with au jus for dipping. I would definitely come back here.
