Very tender ribs, yet a little more fat than would normally expect. Seasoned and smoked well and 4 different sauces. Onion rings were homemade and beans were above average with plenty of onions, peppers and meat. Price was a good set point at $12. If I lived locally I would go back.

Ok BBQ in my estimation, but I'm no expert. Being a Texan, I was completely burnt out on BBQ by the time I was 25 and rarely opt to eat it unless there are not any other options. But when hubby needs a fix or we're indecisive about a quick dinner we head right down the street to Joe's. I usually get the smoked chicken dry so I can indulge in their BBQ sauces. They have a spicy, a KC style, and a country style and all are really good. There are 16 sides, and all are decent as well. They have a huge selection of burgers and sandwiches, far beyond the normal "we'll throw some barbecue on a bun for you" that most BBQ joints offer. And beer. So there's that.

We have been here a few times before but tonight will be our last visit. We went to the location off Moberly by Memorial Park. It was busy and the hostess was slow to seat us and seemed to be oblivious to the line at the door. Our server was older and she was trying to handle at least 6 tables (one of which had at least 10 people). The sweet tea tasted old and was so sweet it wasn't drinkable. Finally after an hour of waiting we got our food...my baked potato was old, dry and cold; the pulled pork was dry and flavorless (thank goodness for BBQ), the corn was cold and just tasted bad and my daughters hamburger was disgusting!!! Overall just really bummed out at how downhill this place has gone...we used to really enjoy it. Sadly we will be finding a new BBQ joint.

Came here with some clients to have dinner - we ordered the ribs, brisket and pulled pork. The BBQ is average here - the ribs were a bit dry but nothing BBQ sauce couldn't fix but I would have preferred it be a bit more tender.

The Arkansas Barbecue Association should sue this joint for harming the rich heritage of Arkansas barbecue. K.C. Style must mean wieners and ketchup.

Great food and service, ribs are bone sucking good. I like the variety of sauces. The spicy is the best.

I used to come here once a week to eat diner with family, friends and colleagues. I will never go to this restaurant again due to the disrespectful attitudes of employees. When standing in line to pay my bill a costumer (who the cashier seemed to know) brushed past a few of us in line and began telling her "I'm here for the usual" and jokes with the cashier for moments before someone in my party notes to both the cashier and the customer that there is a line. The Cashier who turned out to be one of the Managers of Smokin Joe's said to us "you can wait", I asked why should we have to wait? She replies I don't work for you! A go ahead and ask for a manager to report her insubordinate behavior and I get the "i am the manager" routine. Completely ridiculous, behavior.

We love it here. Serving staff very attentive and we haven't had an issue with food or service. Homey feeling and definitely our go to place for comfort food.

We have been coming here for over two years ...and unfortunatley the quality and service have been going downhill over the past year. The food consistently arrives cold. I unfortunatley got food poisoning once after having the cold brisket. The sides are less than desire able (soggy green beans, stale onion rings, sour cream in a tube, watery mac and cheese). Tonight we had to send ribs back because they tasted rancid (and then we're challenged by staff insinuation thst we didn't know what we were talking about). The service leaves much to be desired...they forget stuff frequently (we had no silverware and had to ask for lemons no less than three times) and the server we had tonight seemed so exhausted and overwhelmed she just disnt care - this had been part for the course during our last few visits This place had gone from one of our favorite places, and one that we would take out of town guests to...to one that we've decided to never go to again after tonight so sad :(

A great recommendation to come here for some BBQ. In town visiting for a couple of hours and was craving some BBQ. Restaurant has a fun atmosphere with plenty of TVs for the days sports. The 3 meat plate was a perfect sampler. Pulled pork, brisket and turkey were all fantastic. Topped off with their home made country BBQ and it really was scrumptious. Food came fast. Service was friendly and priced really reasonably.

I've been a big fan of Smokin' Joe's for 7 or 8 years and I was pleased when this new location opened close to my old office a couple years ago. Since I moved away from Northwest Arkansas, I've really missed this flavor of BBQ, comparing everything to it since! Now that I'm here for a visit, of course I had to stop by for lunch and post a review. Smokin' Joe's does their BBQ with more of a smokehouse/pit cooking style. It's a great deal for lunch - quick service that gets you in and out in less than an hour. Excellent 'cue, I had today's special: two gigantic beef ribs and half of a smoked sausage (hot or mild, I had mild). With two sides (I had cole slaw and mac & cheese), plus a bread roll, there was more food than I could possibly eat. It's too bad I wasn't headed home afterwards, or I would have taken it home. There are four or more sauce bottles on the table - country, spicy, KC style and one I can't remember - plus ketchup. My sweet tea was perfectly sweet and I think I drank too much. Great value for the money. I would absolutely come here again.

Not the best BBQ in the area, but a very good menu front to back. My wife love their Chicken Fried Steaks

Stopped by this place for dinner this evening. We ordered take-out at the counter. They offer a wide variety of meats including beef, pork, turkey, chicken and sausage. I ordered the chopped chicken sandwich special, which came with two sides. The food was ready to go in about ten minutes. The chicken was chopped and served on a white bun with a little bit of sauce added. The chicken was a little on the dry side, but I added on a couple little containers of their spicy bbq sauce and I was in business. My sides were green beans and mac-n-cheese. The latter was nothing special, but the green beans were really tasty. They were prepared with smoked sausage and onions, which gave it a really nice taste. I'd stop by again if I was in the area, and I'd try some of the other sides like fried squash or wild beans. Worth a stop if your in the neighborhood.

Food is fine but had an unbelievably poor service experience. Manager was rude and when I called owner to provide feedback on how his establishment could improve ... Never got a call back. Will find other places where customers are treated with integrity to get my BBQ fix.

Average BBQ, nothing special. Service is par and prices are fair. Not worth stopping by if your looking for great BBQ. Try Dinks or whole hog
