My wife and I ate here for valentine's day earlier today. The food was great, and the staff was very attentive. I had the porterhouse steak medium rare and my wife had a chicken salad. The steak was seasoned perfectly and was cooked exactly right. I will definitely continue to give them my business.

The food is good, but they are in terrible need of more employees. Waited for about ten minutes before drink order was taken, but the employees were very friendly and they didn't seem to be slacking. I just think they need more employees.

This place was not good. We had a family of 5 eat here. Two adults and one child. I ordered a well done black angus sirloin like always at other Logan places. It wasn't done. Then they took it back and brought it back to my table. Yuck. It tasted as if it were zapped in the microwave. I would not recommend this place. The service was also not good. Has to wait and wait for refills and service.

Got courteous and quick service on the apetizers in a lightly populated dining area. The wait on our meal was a different story. After about a 30 minute wait our meals arrived and a steak was severly under-cooked. I would come here again but this experience wasn't great.

We came here for my father's birthday last night unfortunately and it was one of the worst meals I've had in a while. First thing we all noticed was that for a Sunday night the place wasn't packed like it usually is. We'd find out why later on when we sat down at our table. Our server did this weird thing where he "sat down" with us while he took our order. We didn't appreciate it and thought it was weird. His excuse? It had been a "long day" for him. Well if you can't handle long days then maybe you need to find another job that's more suitable to your needs. Especially for a simple task such as standing up. Weird. I ordered coffee. Everybody else got their drinks and I had to wait and wait. Oh, and the reason for the coffee, which I usually do not order when I go out to eat? Because it was FREEZING in there. I figured the coffee would help me out. I finally, finally got my coffee; we finally, finally got our rolls and we finally, finally got our salads. Keep in mind that this place is practically almost dead so why is there such a long wait for these items? When our entrees finally came another worker brought them out. She was sweet. But our lazy waiter? He was nowhere to be seen at that point. He never came out to check on us to see if we had gotten everything; he never came around to refill drinks. Like I said he was pretty non-existent until the end of the meal. I actually had to ask the woman who brought us our dinners if I could have a refill on my coffee. All of this was bad because another couple came in and sat near us and he had no problem serving them. And continued coming to their table to serve them while he ignored us. Now onto the food. Logan's is known for having a seasoning on their steaks that makes them so tasty you don't even need any steak sauce. They are usually juicy too. For a place that isn't high-end I always said this was some really good steak for a good price. Not tonight though. Both the steaks me and my husband had were dry and NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER. There was not any of the juicy goodness I'd just mentioned and we had ordered medium well and they were pretty much well-done. That was okay but the "no flavor" wasn't. We both had to use steak sauce to give it flavor and I don't ever remember having to use steak sauce for a steak from Logan's. That's how flavorless it was. My dad said his steak was good and mother said her's was good as well but ours wasn't. Keep in mind that my parents had not been to Logan's in a long time and he'd wanted steak for birthday dinner. Me and hubby come here a good bit and we know what the food is supposed to be and as for our dinners it just wasn't there. Also the rolls tasted funny. I think they might not have been cooked all the way because there was a distinct "funny" taste about it. Maybe a sour taste? I couldn't figure it out. Either way I only ate one which tells you something because usually I almost have the whole basket eaten before dinner comes. Also I had to take the rest of my food home because I just couldn't stomach the dry steak that had no flavor. Now here's the real big catch: we told the waiter it was my dad's BIRTHDAY and they did not come over to sing or give a free dessert. Nothing. Our waiter pretty much forgot about it or didn't care. I'm betting on the latter. We heard the servers doing their thing to another customer that was celebrating their birthday when we first arrived so that's completely unacceptable to me. And like I said earlier, once we got our meals our waiter was not around until to bring me a to-go plate and to pick up check. People, this location has lost its way. My husband actually gave a tip: it was for $1. That's how bad of a meal this was and for my father's birthday dinner? Even worse. I do remember our waiter's name and I will be calling the restaurant either today or tomorrow to report him. I may even contact headquarters to let them know too because it's pretty obvious that people in town are already staying away in droves because of the lack of cars in the parking lots when we first arrived. It really was that empty in the place. And on a weekend? Corporate needs to know and I intend on letting them know so they can get better management because the current staff obviously has let this place go to the dogs. STAY AWAY FOR NOW AND GO SOME PLACE ELSE FOR STEAK, LIKE BUDDY'S, LONGHORN OR THE BIRMINGHAM RESTAURANTS!

My family and I came to have my birthday dinner but unfortunately, we never got to eat that dinner because our server never showed. After waiting patiently for about 15 minutes, my brother informed the hostess that we still had not been waited on. She told him that she would have someone with us immediately. We waited for about 15 more mintues before we finally left. We won't be back. I don't see an option to send a private message to this Logan's location. Please feel free to message me.

Horrible service. Asked for water 3 times, cleaned the floor while I was waiting forever for my dinner, tried to order wine & the bar closed at 9:00 & the waitress didn't even know why, refilled my water with sprite. Talked to the manager & he said he was sorry.

Your international friends will love this place, simply because they'll be facinated that Americans are into throwing peanuts on the floor in public. Food is consistent and fairly decent. Service Is always pleasant. Their chili is a good go-to.

My family has been going here for years. We are usually quite satisfied but last night was bad. We took our son to celebrate his 20th birthday. He ordered the Porterhouse. We all waited too long on our meal only to find out they sold out of the porterhouse steaks. So my son chose a T-bone. The waitress said they weren't out of those. Again we waited, only to be informed they were out of T-bones. Meanwhile the appetizer was delayed, along with our salads! Then my son chose a third steak, which he got, along with everyone else's order. The manager did come out & offer an explanation of heavy business the night before, but offered us NOTHING. The food was good as usual, but after eating several rolls & peanuts while waiting so long, we couldn't finish most of our meals! The was on Sunday between 6:00 and 8:00 pm on 01/15/12.

Been twice for lunch while visiting. Always been quickly seated near the bar area. The food is definitely geared toward meat lovers -steaks, ribs, burgers, etc. They have a variety of salads as well but it's quite slanted toward the animal fats menu. The appetizers are typical: nachos, wings, fries. TV's are everywhere in the bar area. Service has been very good both times. Friendly, attentive and prompt. The service is probably better than the food itself. Burgers are very good. Ribs were delicious and quite tender. Food is reasonably priced and service is friendly. Eating peanuts and getting to throw the shells on the floor is quite cathartic.

I had one of the BEST T-Bones I have ever had in my life here. I ordered it medium-rare, but it was coming close to mooing back at me. However, to my table partner's dismay, I ate it blood and all. And, I discovered that even if you just knock his horns off and send him on.. he's still DELICIOUS. They get my 5 stars for a GREAT undercooked steak!!

weellll, it's ok. It's definitely a hit and miss with no consistency. you might get a good steak and you might get one completely full of gristle. But unlike some places if you get something you don't like they are more than gracious to try again and make it right (makes me nervous to do that though). The bread is always good and the salad is fresh. We usually hit this one up at lunch.

It is alright. Expensive for how thin the steaks are. Texas Roadhouse is better for a franchise type steak place. Service was friendly. Rolls and peach lemonade were good.
