LOL. I was having a bad day quite honestly, so my mind wasn't right so I decided to go to dinner with some coworkers to wind down. I got some kind of burger (can't remember) but it was pretty good, I just wasn't that hungry. Anyways, the thing that bothered me the most was the two male waiters that were there. Don't get me wrong, they were extremely helpful and attentive, but I have "space" issues. That means, I don't like when people get too close to me, particularly men, if you get my drift... It seemed as though this "waiter in training" always chose to brush up against me to serve the 6 of us, it didn't matter the reach required to refill drinks, or communicate, he would always squeeze his pregnant belly in between me and my coworker and yell loudly into my ear. Now I will admit, I was a bit more irritable that usual that day and maybe I was tripping a little bit...but a week later one of my coworkers joked and said "remember that guy who kept rubbing up against you at that restaurant?" Yea...after I heard that, I knew it wasn't just me. Staff, please tell your waiters not to rub up against the customers while they are eating. The end

Went in on a Monday night for the first time and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, and our server Gabe provided the best dining experience I've had in my two years living in the Montgomery area. I cannot overstate how wonderful it was to have a professional and friendly server. The food was also fantastic. Would not hesitate to go back.

On a recent trip to Atlanta, we stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the superb wait skills of Donald. He made our eating experience so wonderful. The menu boosts pages and pages of choices so we asked for suggestions and got great ones. I have the black & white chicken plate and it was fantastic! Everyone enjoyed their meals! Save room for dessert! On another note, we stopped back by on our way home on a Saturday. The experience was challenging to say the least. We had a brand new waitress and the meal took forever. She made common errors, like dropping off our ticket WAY before we finished our meal and we had to ask for dessert. The table next to us flipped three times while we ate our meal. I pulled one of the more experienced waitresses aside and asked her to help this "newbie" otherwise she was not going to survive her first month! From now on we will call and see if Donald is working. He should be in charge of training ALL Wait staff!!!

Had a Triple Play burger. For a 1/2 pound burger it cooks down well. The garlic rub they use is top shelf. Very good burger. This is my second time here and first burger. Had to compare it to the one at Rock Bottom across the road. Both are good and to me you couldn't go wrong with either one.

Bar staff wouldn't change tv from Weather Channel to ESPN. Mist be a weather bar now.

Great Restaurant! Our waitress was Kenya and she was an amazing waitress (insightful, knowledgeable, friendly and personable). We tried as much as we could and everything tasted GREAT!

We stopped at this location on a Monday at lunch hour and was seated quickly.. our waitress was new and still in orientation. She was very pleasant, checked on us frequently, and apologized when my burger was overdone. Even though the restaurant was busy I received another burger plate within minutes. I have visited this place often in the past.. the food isn't always so good, but the atmosphere is great. It's a cool place if you want to meet friends after work to unwind and catch up on the week.

Service is the worst! And they canNOT mix a drink, no matter who's working the bar. They SUCK!

I worked as a server for Baumhower's for 14 months and they fired me. My fault, BTW. But, I will say this, having worked there and seen the standards by which Bob Baumhower sets his little food empire, I am still a huge fan! A sporting event is on TV and you want to watch it? No problem they have dozens of dozens of screens throughout. Want chicken wings? No problem, they have the best in the South! I am not saying that for them, I am saying that for me! I suggest you try their Jamacian Jerk wings mild or their garlic hot or the lemon-pepper or garlic bar-b-q...you know what? Just try them all! Try the triple play cheese fries, the dippin chicken, the royal rooster (have them dip that bad boy in some sauce too), or anything else they make! It is all excellent and they make almost everything in house. If I have any complaint about Baumhower's, it is that Bob won't show the UFC there and forces me to go to another place with inferior food to watch the fights.

This place was chosen by some colleagues as our dinner spot as we rolled into Montgomery. We got there in time for happy hour. The only craft beer on tap was SweetWater 420 IPA, which was nice. We got the gooey fries, which I wasn't terribly impressed with. They got cold quick but we were starving, so they got devoured. Not bad. I got the "black & white" chicken platter as recommended by our server, as I had a heavyish lunch and wanted something lighter. That was just what the doctor ordered, as it came with some seasoned, steamed broccoli and wild rice. The chicken breast was cooked well, wasn't freakishly big or too small either. The seasonings were nice, but the dipping sauce wasn't too inspired. Our service was the best part. Southern hospitality is definitely alive and well here. We were sat quickly and we never had to wait to order more rounds of our drinks (the other guys got bourbon). This is definitely a good spot with a unique and varied menu. My coworkers enjoyed their fish and shrimp dishes. Check it out!

Well my fist time and most likely my last time!! The wings were okay, nothing special, pretty much the same as the ones I can get anywhere! The blue cheese dressing had a nasty, almost like tin, taste to it. The service was slow and not very good. Server couldn't even remember to bring me a straw!!

Always a great place for wings...try the Jamaican Jerk..... Yum! Wings are the best in Montgomery and the rest of the menu is worthy of a try... Never been disappointed.... ! Great place to catch a game and hang out with friends

Welcome to Baumhower's. If Chotchkie's from Office Space because sports-themed, this is what you'd get. Not much in Montgomery was open this particular Sunday of a holiday weekend. That's the south for you. But thankfully Baumhower's came to the rescue and was cooking up food until 10 PM. The place was hoppin' which is usually a good sign too. Even though Bob Baumhower is an Alabama alum, the restaurant is equal opportunity and features decorations and memorabilia from various sports team. I appreciated that. Our server, Carrie, was attentive, extremely polite, and knew her stuff. She could rattle off the beer list without hesitation, impressive. My Triple Play Cheeseburger ($10.99) featuring Monterey Jack, smoked cheddar, and American cheeses was nothing remarkable. I've been spoiled by a lot of gourmet burgers lately but I definitely still respect the basic burger. This one was just forgettable and slightly overcooked. The curly fries were notable though. My companion fared better than me since he ordered the famous wings (since 1981) and was very happy with them. Among the several flavors, Baumhower's has a peanut butter flavor and a PB&J flavor, wild! An MMA fight was on some of the TVs until it was unceremoniously changed to the US Open. The manager later told us that corporate doesn't want MMA shown. So if you are going to Baumhower's to watch men beat each other to a pulp in the Octagon while chowing down, prepared to be disappointed. The check came withe some offers for return visits which was thoughtful. I'll have to try the wings at one of Bob's other joints around the state another time for sure.

I got the hankerin' for wings and I had heard this was the place to go. At least, since Hooters closed down a few years back. Okay, that last line was a joke... promise. Anyway, I called 'em up and was a bit confused by the sizes listed. Since I didn't have a menu handy (I was driving but pulled over to place the order.), I asked the employee to help me decide how to go about it. She was nice and polite and didn't mind at all -- so kudos for that. You don't know how hard it is sometimes to have a nice friendly voice on the phone. Firstly, and I'm going off of memory here, the wings were in sizes of lbs, not number or quantity. Okay, that's fine I suppose. And then, here's where it gets tricky: you order a seasoning and a sauce, instead of just a sauce like most places. Okay, that's fine... I think. Secondly, I was quoted on the phone of a time of 15-20 minutes. No problem. I arrive early and wait it out. Fifteen minutes pass, no problem. Twenty minutes, okay... thirty... Alriiiiight. Thirty-five... irritation setting in nicely. All the while, the manager and the empoyee I talked to were nice and trying to help me get my mind off the wait. Thirty-seven minutes later, and a nice red tint to my forehead set in. All in all, the manager tried to help, but not much you can do in that situation. I get it. Thirdly, when I got home and tried the wings, they were just off-putting. The sauce I chose was a buffalo sauce and the seasoning was cajun; they just didn't go together well. And I suspect the cooks either have a shaky or heavy hand because the wings were absolutely coated with the seasoning and it made them highly salty. And to mention, the wings were huge in size but it was mostly bone and not enough meat in comparison. All things considered, wasn't a home-run. I may try back in the future. Still weighing the pros and cons.

Initially offered to seat at bar since I was traveling and dining alone, but only seat was right next to kitchen. Server took drink order immediately, slight delay ordering main course. Food arrived promptly. I ordered the boneless wings (Hot Lips) lunch. Consistently have issues with inconsistent spice at this chain. I like my wings spicy but not too spicy. Unfortunately this means more often than not too mild due to erring on the side of caution. Otherwise no complaints as far as food. Waited longer than expected for check. Would have given four stars if service had been more timely. Still would consider returning when in area.

Stopped here for dinner, although the reviews are all over the place, this place offers a fun place to gather with friends and watch the game. So for the good, the food is outstanding. I had the lemon grilled chicken salad, which is huge. And goes perfect with that 25oz draft beer. Great prices and place is very busy. Now for the bad, I was sitting at the bar when a glass broke at the server station. It happens, however where this glass broke and where it ended up are what takes this rating from a 4 plus star to a 2 and I'm being generous with it. The broken glass dropped on top of the ice chest and fell into the ice. I watched the bartender pull the glass and the pieces out of the ice. She then notified who I assume was a manger or shift leader, only to see him not do anything about it. Huge liability here... The ice should have been scooped out, no matter how busy the place is. The ice well should have been cleaned and then new ice dumped in. Not sure why this wasn't done, but it wasn't. I did want a glass of water, however after seeing this I passed. Again the food is good, service is great too. This might be a one off issue. But food service protocols weren't being used, which makes me ask what else isn't being done.

I don't know what the hype about this place is. Poor Alabamians not having any other "cool" sports bars to go to. The wings were gross.. I don't know if it's because I'm used to having on-point wings all the time from Atlanta, but I've never not finished an entree before. I had the strawberry shortcake and the shortcake is deep fried and it tasted like chicken wings. Appetizers are meh, prices are meh, everything about this place is just meh. The only positive thing I can say about this place is excellent happy hour drink deals. However, I had a server try to rip me off when I got a bit buzzed so double-check your tab.

This review is for 7/2/2014 This place is perfect for family dining. Up in arrival, they have little containers of fruit loops for the kids and big kids (like myself). I simply adore the fact that there is Alabama memorabilia all over the place. I love the fact that the screams Southern watering hole with Southern hospitality. The hostesses were smiling when we walked in, and they were accommodating when we told them that is was a huge party that needed two high chairs. Although most of our party wasn't there, we were still seated. Our server, Kenya, promptly greeted us, and I warned her that she is going to truly earn her tip today. I had to explain to her that my neice (a spunky toddler) is full of action. Sure as the sun shines, my neice was active, but Kenya was awesome with all of the kids at the table. Her patience was great. The menu items are tailored for any lifestyle--- meat eaters, pescatarians, and vegetarians. I loved that the menu had many Southern favourites such as fire pickles. Don't knock 'em till you try 'em. I order the Veggie Wrap. Somehow there was a mix up, and I received a fried fish wrap. I hate fish, so Kenya haf the kitchen redo my order. The veggie wrap was loaded with black eyed peas (Red neck cavier), black beans, corn, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and Italian dressing. I was in love . I was apprehensive, but the ingredients went so well together. Everyone else had wings and wangs, which they love. The best part- kids ate free. Yes, kids eat free on Wednesday nights and there is facing painting. FYI- For my drinkers, Happy Hour is until 6:30. Ask the server about drink specials. Although the food was great, Kenya was a super star. She was able to work with a huge party with hungry kids and indecisive adults. In addition, she was very knowledgeable about the menu items, and she kept a smile on her face.

Wings were great! Big, juicy, & good price. I had the Sweet Fire & loved them. My kids had burgers & said they were fantastic. Service was fast & friendly. We were in & out in less than 45 minutes. Plus they refilled our drinks & put them in a to-go cup. Will definitely go again.

Giving this place another chance because a friend wanted to come here for his birthday. Trying another dish and crossing my fingers it isn't as disappointing as previous menu items, since the only dish I ever had worth a damn (gulf shrimp and grits) isn't on the menu anymore. Has the charred gulf shrimp salad. Salad greens were wilted and brown. I guess maybe they hoped all of the vinaigrette (more like runny jam) would be enough to disguise the less than fresh body of the dish. Last strike, Baumhowers. You're out.

Loved it. Stopped in Montgomery for the night. Headed to this place and the food was great. Jerk chicken plate. And their broccoli really is good. Expect a wait even after 9 pm on a weekend.

I ordered the wings as a starter. They were great. The fish po-boy was a disappointment as the fish was mushy and the bread was not fresh. The bergers are the way to go in this plase. Good sport s bar kind of place. Large and noisey.

Very friendly bar tender. Food and service was top notch. Their was food and napkins left all over a dirty table for a little while and the staff didn't seem to care. Other than that it's a great experience!

We were traveling home to Wisconsin and stopped here for dinner. The food was some of the best ever and the place was very nice but the best thing was our server, Candace #367. She we so personable and attentive. Wish we could take her and the whole place home with us. Definitely memorable in a very positive way.

Nice size sports bar, clean, family friendly, and great staff. We sat at the bar and had wings ( awesome btw...try the sweet fire) and the gooey fries. The gooey fries are curly fries served with shredded cheese and bacon sprinkled on top. Lawd they were delicious! Folks were out chillin and watchin the game. Cool place for college football Saturdays and nfl Sundays.

Got into Montgomery late on Sunday with few eating options. Stumbled on this place because it was open although trying to close just before 10. Not to worry. Got take out. It was great! Black and white chicken was well seasoned and the white barbecue sauce was a new one on me but definitely awesome. The grilled potato was also outstanding. Waiting for my order at the bar was pleasant. Great, friendly service. I'll be back when I can eat in.

They don't take reservations or have a call ahead list but were pretty fast about seating a group of 12. We had to sit in two booths back to back...don't like being split up but we also didn't want to wait for a big long table. Shirah was excellent. Not sure the other waitresses were as good as we watched one plot an appetizer plate on another table. Their tip was going down. FRIED PICKLES. Better than Hooters. Get some. Rib eye steak could be cut with a fork. Catfish platter was great. Some lips were on fire with the hottest wings but I think that guy was just a wimp because my other friend ate them with no problems. Good times.

Baumhower's has some red flags that kept me on the fence about dining there. It was started by Bob Baumhower but today owned and operated by Aloha Hospitality International, which owns all nine Baumhower's, the Complete Angler restaurant in Daphne, Bimini Bob's in Orange Beach, and the soon-to-be Bob's Victory Grill in Tuscaloosa. When described to me by a friend, he rattled off a list of incongruent menu items, such as turkey, pot roast, and wings, which indicated a generic American-style restaurant such as TGI Fridays or Chili's. The twelve page menu seconded this concern, but it also countered it with ties to The Year of Alabama Food - the Alabama Tourism Board's promotion of local food - with things such as shrimp, catfish, and bacon that are all sourced locally. Plus, they have wangs. Who doesn't want to try Bob Baumhower's wang? In the end, my fears and the actual realization of the restaurant made it kind of a wash, which is still better than those other giant chains, but not a home run by any means. For instance, the Redneck Caviar makes several appearances on the appetizer section of the menu. This mishmash of black eyed peas, okra, tomatoes, onions, and peppers doesn't really resemble caviar in any form, nor do I understand the jab at rednecks, which seems about as culturally sensitive as making the servers wear fake pairs of buck teeth. The caviar was served as a dip with way tortilla chips, which didn't work at all, or as a topping for the fried green tomatoes, which worked better, though in reality I just ate the stuff straight because it was likely to be the only vegetables I was going to get at this meal. And for all the falderal about local food on other parts of the menu, the caviar was 75% made from things coming out of a can. You don't even have to guess which 75% it is, because they post the damn recipe on their website. I can open cans of beans and tomatoes and bottles of Wishbone Italian dressing just as well as any line cooks; that's not why I go out to eat. The fried green tomatoes were an average appetizer - cornmeal battered, a little too greasy, and at $6, about a buck per slice. The large slices of fried pickles were a hit at the table. The wings sampler was a good way to try a variety of their "famous" wings, and though they were all drumsticks as far as I could tell, the crispy skin, generous heat for their "Bring Da Pain" level, and interesting flavors like vidalia onion kept me interested. A larger-than-average number of items on their menu feature their "almost-fried" turkey, called as such because the bird is wrapped in foil before taking a swim in the oil. A novel idea, but one that doesn't really amount to anything - whether in a 350-degree oven or a 350-degree vat of oil, the foil-wrapped food is cooked in the exact same manner. My suspicion is they just don't have an oven, and grilling the turkey would have made it too dry. The turkey is an integral component of one of Baumhower's signature dishes, their Hot Brown, also known as one of The Year of Alabama Food's "100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama Before You Die". A dish more famous in Kentucky, the open face sandwich here follows closely to form - toast, turkey, bacon, though rather than a complicated Mornay sauce, Bauhower's uses the Blanco cheese sauce they repurpose in various forms across the menu, and add some beef gravy for good measure. The added beefiness helps cut through some of the richness of the cheese, so I found it to be an improvement. What made the dish here was the thick cuts of that local Alabama bacon they were touting. No shortcuts were taken with regards to the pig, and though the dish's primary notes were just meat and cheese, those are also the best notes, so it was successful. I ordered a pretty boring scoop of ice cream with some macerated strawberries, but had I been more adventurous I would have opted for the fried banana pudding. Another person at our table ordered it, and the fried crepe-like dough that contained the gooey goods looked as over-the-top as you would expect, and the only complaints were of not having enough room to finish it all. Baumhower's accomplishes what it set out to do: make a quirky family restaurant that features on Southern-ish dishes with a slightly above-average sense of locality. It serves best as a sampler of the South, though not necessarily the best versions of anything they have to offer.

WINGS! Oh god, how I miss you so. Please come to Tampa! My favorite menu items are the wings (obviously), the triple play cheesy fries (getting teary eyed now), and the blackberry cobbler (full on sobbing). This place is literally one of the only things I miss about Montgomery. Tampa needs you!!

Ok service. Subpar wings. Not so great long wait for the food.

Great wings, great food. Great atmosphere. It is a sports oriented place, a lot of games on tv, not every game will be on like a sports bar, but the big games will be on. Staff is friendly. On busy nights the waiting area is packed and uncomfortable. I recommend the wings of course, also we have done Spencer's gooey fries. The hot bama brown and the jerk chicken are good if you would like something other than wings. If you are ordering to go wings and food. They have a good system on getting the order correct. You will have to call and schedule a pick up time for your order. If you call at 6 they may tell you the next available pick up time is 7:30, so I recommend not waiting until the last minute to order.

Forgettable and memorable in odd ways. Let's just say this must be the only place to see and bee seen. The ladies were dressed up to the nines to come into t this glorified Hooligans. They sat alone, with no dates, in the glitter tops and high heels stuffing themselves with fried wings and a platter of nachos, drinking out of a beer yard. There is obviously a lack of nightlife spots in the area, and the food here is really just fried shit covered in sauce.

Service was good. Server was friendly and took time to interact with us. Decent variety of beer on tap. Food slightly above average for a sports bar. We were there watching NBA playoffs and the place was pretty busy, but our food was served quickly. I ordered the "hot lips" platter (fried chicken chunks covered in buffalo sauce with fries and slaw). The server asked "how hot." and I said "hot as you got, and wet." The sauce was pretty hot, but they were a bit stingy with the sauce. Not sure if the server knew what I meant by "wet." This is a good place to watch sports, as there are no shortage of TVs.

I have been here for sporting events and for take-out. For our sit down experience, we parked at the bar and ordered beer and gooey fries. The fries took forever, but the beer kept flowing and I stumbled out afterward (pre-pregnancy!!!). The take-out experience wasn't quite as pleasant. We waited at the counter forever for the girl to come check us out, while other employees just stood around us (why couldn't they check us out again?...) Then she disappeared for a while a-gain when we asked for our military discount. I was beyond starving and ready to kick something. But thankfully the free popcorn held me over (but was so salty it made my husband's lip chapped, he claims)! We also came here one time in between and had to leave as the place was packed and people were spilling out the front door, be careful on weekends, maybe call ahead.

Good atmosphere, but then again, this is the only hang out place in Montgomery. Wings and wangs were just mediocre, so I'm not getting that again. At least beer taste the same wherever you good.

We were lucky enough to get a table on a BSC championship night and I must say it was a pleasant first experience. The food wasn't to die for, but it was deliciously filling. The burgers are fantastic, but the fries are pretty bland. I suggest the nachos as an appetizer to pass time. The atmosphere wasn't as 'live' as you would expect compared to the other sports bar in town. However, this place has a lot more space and you won't feel as cramped. Overall it's a nice place to watch a game.

Went in on a busy Saturday night and didn't 10 minutes sitting at the bar, being ignored by the bartender. As I left, the same manager who had just spoken to me 10 minutes earlier told me to have a great evening. Will never go back.

Checked this place out mainly for sake of curiosity. Overall not bad. It's a bar/restaurant type atmosphere with good service and decent food. I'd consider them two steps up from Applebees and maybe a step down from Outback. When you go in, the first thing you'll notice is Christmas light strings everywhere. They're completely decked out in lights and if you're not careful, you're likely to trip over a few ropes they forgot about. I'd also like to point out these two kayaks hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the bar; not sure what we were thinking on that one... they're kind of like a giant elephant who's just kind of sitting there trying to mind its own business. The waitress (standard issue, blond hair/blue eye variety) was nice and friendly. I'd say she probably worked a little too hard pretending I was her favorite customer, sliding into my booth, reading my menu and all, I mean seriously, just write down my order and don't screw it up--I tip well. I ordered the gumbo only because she immediately touted it as the best soup on the planet. I thought it odd she'd push it so hard since that's more of a Louisiana type dish, but I obliged. It wasn't that good. In fact, it had no flavor whatsoever. While the individual components were cooked flawlessly, the soup base was Alabama water. She swung by my table twice to ensure I enjoyed my soup, almost as if she killed the shrimp herself and boiled it for me... I didn't have the heart to tell her it sucked... just don't get the gumbo. I ordered the wings. They try to be innovative on their wings. You can order from a litany of flavors ranging from garlic to this one called Butt-rub. Then you decide on the temperature, ranging from mild to XX-hot. But here's the kicker, when you order a flavor, say garlic for example, they're fried up, spun in garlic, then spun in hot sauce. So when you stick them in your mouth, regardless of the "flavor", what do you taste? Yep, you guessed, hot sauce. I ordered two flavors, garlic and buffalo. I asked for the garlic as medium and the buffalo X-Hot. What I got were 12 wings dripping with hot sauce. They were so identical in flavor, half way thru the meal, I forgot which dish was what. Honestly, they need to have a meeting and decide which flavors should be hot, which ones should be mild and just stick to one game plan. If you want to eat out with friends, drink beer and eat half way decent food, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is great. If you're looking for good wings and beer, go to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Like their wings, but their service leaves something to be desired. Have dined in several times and had good food, but service has been hit it miss. Today I was passing through town and decided to get wings to go. The phone was answered promptly and I was promptly put on hold, for 7 minutes. When the lady came back, I gave her my order and was told to hold for an order total. After a several more minutes the hostess came back and said the next available carry out slot was 40 minutes from now. By now, I was only 2 blocks away! She told me if I came in she would enter the order upon arrival. If they don't enter the order unto you arrive, why bother having call-ahead! Went ahead and stopped and they entered my order after I got there. Just got an order of wings with no sides and it took another 30 minutes of waiting. Wings were good, but not the best ever and the service left a bitter taste. (pun intended) I am sure they have take out service. They have two marked parking spots in the front reserved for carry-out service. (one of them was occupied by the resturaunts golf cart?????)

This is your standard sports bar with wings. There are flat screens in every direction you look. I feel like its the South's version of ESPN zone. My husband surely enjoyed the atmosphere but that in return results in me dining without company. The wings are pretty good here and they have plenty of them. The salads are not-so-much. The shrimp salad came with lettuce and some grilled shrimp. I think its suppose to have a little more than one pecan and a teaspoon of parmesan cheese. Anyways, I was starving waiting to get our waiter's attention about the salad. The service was great for the first half of the meal but did not really exist after we got our food. Anyways, go if you want to just eat wings while watching sports. If you would like to have a meal and enjoy your company, go someplace else.

This franchise sports bar is just want you'd expect, noisy, fun, busy with lots of very visible TV screens! The entire family went here and everyone had a good time! Highlights for the kids included the messy fries (curly fries gooped with processed cheese and bacon bits) and the real-time trivia system. For the adults, it was the reasonable prices ($60 for all 4 of us including tip) good viewing angles for pre-season football and the super-friendly service that we are starting to love about Montgomery. On the downside, the food is pretty "unhealthy" and over-processed even by sports bar standards. I am sure we'll visit here again, especially with football season right around the corner!

This place has become kind of a regular spot for me and the lady as its one place in town that has been consistantly good to eat at over our last year here. The chicken is advertized as never being frozen and whether that is true or not I dont know but it is good. I tend to stick with the wings as thats really why I go there but Iv had the burgers a couple of times and not been dissapointed. They just added an extended list of wing sauces recently as I think they have done an overhaul of the menu. Happy hour is good if your going for beer as they have specials on domestic beer from 2-630 pm. I wasnt impressed with the chili the one time I had a bowl and the cheese grits were not that good but pretty much everything else Iv tried was great. My girl has gotten several different chicken plates here and not been dissapointed. The chicken tenders are a good size and not scrawny like some other places. We usually sit at the bar so service is pretty good but the few times we have sat at tables it hasn't been bad either. Had someones going away party here with a large group of people at lunch and we called ahead and they had two large tables set up for us by the time we got there.

Excellent friendly service. Order came out fast. Everyone had wings and all the flavors were very good. Recommend 911 or Sweet Heat. There was a slight issue to start out but the manager handled it quickly and professionally.

Alright, Baumhowers is a tough place to review. I went there two nights. Both nights the service was horrible. The place was empty, but it still took forever to get our orders in, get our drinks, and get our bills. Our bills were screwed up and it took them forever to fix it. Why three stars then? Well, the burgers were amazing. I actually ate an entire 2lbs burger here with their special "food challenge". Final verdict? Go there for the burgers, but don't expect a lot for the customer service.

Good food, reasonably priced. Loved the cheesy grits and the 9.99 steak dish!

Well I have always enjoyed their service and food, but something has obviously happened as of late. I don't know if they hired new "cooks" or what. The last three meals have been horrible! The first I ordered the grilled fish salad, as did my mother. Both of us received fish that you needed a steak knife to cut through. We sent the fish back and just ate the salads. They were kind and took it off our bill. This time I ordered the same thing, thinking the last time was just a fluke....NOPE, just as bad except it was hard as a rock and wasn't even seasoned. Sent that one back and just asked for an order of grilled wings to go (these have always been delicious!) since I was bringing some back for my hubby too. Well, got home and guess what? Every wing was burnt, I don't mean chargrilled from the grill, which they are supposed to have a little of...I mean they were black as night and the char was so thick....and oops, one other tiny thing, there was ZERO sauce on them! What the heck is going on there???? I called and spoke with Barney, one of the managers and he was very nice and said he could make me a new meal, but I'm not driving 20 minutes to go get some more possibley bad food. So he said he would be sure to talk to the kitchen manager. Hopefully things will improve, but as for now I will not be eating there anymmore. My mother and I stop in at least once a week for a drink and I'll still do that since all I ever get is a Pepsi. So bummed about the whole thing.
