Taking a road trip to Florida from Wisconsin and saw a couple of billboards for Jacks and decided why not give it shot vs any other big chain fast food place. It wasn't a disappointment! We are all college students and the food was so cheap! So that was a huge plus. The place was clean and the bathrooms were nice. The food was all pretty simple but that's the point, if I'm not mistaken. It was so good. I got a burger, fries, and mashed potatoes. I've had better but for a fast food place this was top notch. I also got ice cream for the road because it's so hot in Alabama. The workers were all very pleasant and the service was fast. I think everyone only waited about 2-5 minutes for their food. Overall was a great experience and if I ever caught myself in Alabama again, I would come back to Jack's.

Stopped in on a road trip for milkshakes and a restroom break. Both my kids were in a terrible mood and the girl working the front, Sarah, was incredibly sweet and had a very positive attitude, took extra time to show my kids the shakes being made and talk to them. She was one of the best customer service workers I've ever seen. Definitely recommend this place.

Visited for bathroom first, food 2nd. bathroom was clean and well kept (hand dryer was weak but they had a paper towel dispenser). Customer service by the older cashier James started the experience right with, "How can I help you today young man?" with a big smile!! I automatically liked this place. The food was served quickly and there was a group of older guys celebrating a birthday and having a blast. They were definitely regulars. If my smiles sausage had been a little better I would have left a 5 star. Would recommend!!

Great fast food, clean, the manager came by a couple of times, just a great experience. Like another reviewer said, James was THE MAN. Really enjoys people and his job and it shows. He would be the reason I would go there again, Esp if I were a local. Great guy, old southern charm, makes you feel welcome. I hope upper management realizes what an icon they have with James and take advantage of his great personality.

July 21st, 2012 @ 2:05 pm - I'm tired!!! I've been on the road for the past two weeks and this particular part of the journey started in Memphis with a detour to Montgomery before pointing our rental car towards Atlanta (home). It's been 5 hours since we left Memphis and have spent the last 30 minutes stuck in gawker traffic. After breaking through, it was time for an emergency potty break for our youngest and to be honest, the gas station across from Jack's set off my Germ-a-phobe warning radar. Jack's looked like a much cleaner choice. Well, like any real Yelper, I decided to check the reviews since I'd never heard of Jack's before. The tips on the mobile app sounded promising so I decided to forgo my initial thought to wait in the car while my wife escorted our youngest inside to change the aroma of the restrooms. I thought I'd order a snack for the remaining 45 minutes before reaching our destination. Lines were chaotic as I believe everyone decided to stop after having survived 6 miles of dead stop traffic. I didn't get very far in line (after standing in it over 5 minutes) before a lady comes out of the restroom and told THREE crew members (standing around to clock-in) that the ladies room was out of toilet paper. They wait til she leaves, stare at each other and say "I'm not on the clock" and do absolutely nothing to let management or anyone on staff know of the problem. Well, that's not altogether true since one of the team leaders overheard the conversation and said she's getting off in just a few minutes and shrugged her shoulders. Meantime, my wife comes out with a story that the ladies were passing the one available roll of toilet paper in between the stalls.... so we decided to leave. What a joke to have such poor staffing standards. I truly believe that a person or a company shows their standards in how they approach the cleanliness of their business and their overall appearance. This place scream I don't care about me OR you!
