Zoe's never fails to delight my tastebuds! We ordered the chicken salad sampler, and the Greek salad with chicken. I bought a small container of their chicken salad to take home, and a piece of their chocolate cake. The cake icing was incredible!!! As always, everything was fresh and delicious! I've never had a bad experience at Zoe's, and their staff is incredibly friendly! One of my examples of their staff going above and beyond happened a few years ago....I was eating lunch with several girlfriends after a long day of shopping. I didn't realize I hit my daily limit (oopsie!), and my card would not go through. It wasn't a big deal, but I didn't have cash either. As I walked away from the counter to grab some cash from a friend, the manager at Zoe's told me not to worry about it and to go enjoy our day! That was such a kind gesture!

Great food! I wanted a light and easy dinner. This place was perfect! I had the chicken and steak kabobs which came with a small Greek salad and rice, really good! I ordered a side of hummus with cucumbers (subbing the pits chips), and it was perfect on the kabobs. This place is casual and had students, families and older folks as well. Seems like everyone likes Zoe's! I ate and read my book for about an hour; very relaxing and yumm dinner.

I gave this two stars ONLY because my wife liked her chicken salad. Really deserving of one. They took my order and we paid, then we sat for 25 minutes waiting. Finally I went in and asked, and the girl told me they probably made it and it got lost in the kitchen. Went back outside, and 10 minutes later they brought our food out. The spinach roll-ups with chicken I had tasted about like they'd been sitting in the kitchen since we first ordered. I don't recommend this place.

I ordered the Chicken Kabobs. The Kabobs tasted as though they were cooked hours earlier and then left in a steam bin to die a slow and agonizing death before it arrived onto my plate. The Pita bread was served cold as though it had been pulled out of a refrigerated bag. The cashier was extremely friendly helpful and generously offered us samples of the limeade tea which is a 4 out of 5 stars. The salad was a 4 out of 5 stars. Mixed greens and fresh. Until this place starts cooking their meat entrees to order I suggest going Vegetarian when giving Zoes a try.

Sunday at noon is pretty busy when church gets out, and can be hard to walk through. The service is great though, you can refill your own drink, and it is family friendly. The food is ok too, but doesn't blow my socks off. If you want something easy and quick this is the place to go.

This is my favorite Zoe's location. The people who take my orders are always so kind and definitely build a repoire with their customers that makes you fee like you aren't in a chain. It can be busy during the 12-1 lunch hour so don't be surprised if you walk in and find a long line. The good news is that it moves pretty quickly. Also, my favorite thing is the Greek salad, no potato salad with chicken. The spinach and chicken roll ups are also a pretty good choice.

I really like this place! It's a chain but I was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service and decent food. My favorite is the shrimp kabobs meal -- filling, but not overly filling. If you are trying to eat healthy there are lots of options on their menu that will help you to do so.

Zoes is a great go-to food location to any location you might go. But this one is in a great location in the very popular Soho part of Homewood. I will be the first to admit that I don't always crave Zoes. But every time I go, I am always very pleased. This in my mind a lunch type of place. The chicken roll-ups are great. But I particularly love the spinach roll-ups (add chicken). The spinach has a creamy texture to it. The hummus is always fresh and delicious. And I have never been disappointed by the sides. A new thing they have are steak kabobs. And they are just as good (if not better) than everything else. If you are looking for a good, fresh (lunch) spot, Zoes is always a solid choice.

wow. wow. wow. Okay I have to confess, this was the first time I had ever tried Zoe's and boy was I floored. I had no idea how much I was going to enjoy each succulent dish that I tasted. I love Mediterranean food and didn't realize this was Zoe's specialty. From all the food I tasted the braised white beans with rosemary was my favorite. The flavors were a perfect combination for my palate. However, every dish was fresh and seasoned to perfection. I wish I had the secret recipe for their chicken kabobs! Yummy! Moving on, I was surprised at how affordable all their dishes were. This is a great place for any meal and the portions are quite considerable. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was fantastic. Let's just say I enjoyed this place so much that I went the next day for lunch in their Homewood location. If you enjoy fresh Mediterranean food in a pleasant atmosphere then this is a must for you to try.

I really like Zoe's! I don't really know how it could get better. I literally have thoroughly enjoyed every dish, munchie, and dessert I've had from here. And that chocolate cake, oooo. I'm a desert and cake snob, this one is the kind you want to eat a lot of. The colors are fun, and the service is very nice and friendly. Zoe's started here in Birmingham with the grandson of a lady, and all her delicious recipes. He hustled and had a vision for making the restaurant widespread. Now the goodness has spread far and wide. Great prices with this fast causal Mediterranean spot.

On the tail end of a long road trip, we were looking for something light that wouldn't settle in over the next six hours as we sat in the car. Zoe's fit the bill. It's chain-restaurant fast (and it's actually a chain, so no surprise there), Instead of a "here are our ten fat'n'greasy specialties and, oh yeah, you can get a prepacked salad" menu, Zoës offers predominantly Mediterranean fare with an occasional Southern twist. There's hummus side-by-side with a grilled pimento cheese sandwich (though not in combination, thankfully). The "Gruben" is a re-imagined Reuben made with turkey and a less heavy dressing than traditionally used, but still with the satisfying tart flavor of an old-line, artery-clogging Reuben. Among the salads, soups, and wraps that one would expect to find here are some interesting sides. The braised white beans are remarkably good, as were the grilled vegetables. They also offer a mayo-free potato salad. The quinoa salad was a hit at our table. Tea and drinks are set out in the dining area. This particular Zoës is located in the pleasant Homewood central hamlet, easy to access from I-65 and I-20/59, but sufficiently far from the roar of Interstate traffic. If you're crossing the state, it's worth a couple of extra turns to get out of sight of that for a bit.

I have eaten here a few times and would say it is average... My most recent visit I ordered a half turkey sandwich and soup (to do something lo-cal). I wish I had brought my own sandwich...bland and nothing special. The chicken and rice pilaf soup was a disappointment. It was less flavorful than chicken broth. This meal was a waste of $8. Next time, I will NOT get soup and sandwich. Be sure to stick to their specialties.

I enjoy the tasty healthy choices. Love the Hibiscus tea and the hummus dip!

Zoe's is delicious, fast casual greek chicken with lots of bright, lemony flavor. The Protein Power plate is one of the best low-carb options in town. (The chocolate cake is one the best high-carb options in town...). You can order dinners for four online for pick-up, which is a great solution for easy dinner and much healthier than fast food or grocery deli stuff. The white beans are a fave.

This is my favorite restaurant. Whenever me and my roommate are hung over, it is mutually understood that we're going to zoe's that day. It totally hits the spot (not even when your hung over) The service is great, I've never had to wait longer than like 15 minutes. I go there so often that the people usually already know what I'm going to get. Everyone that I've encountered working there has been really nice as well. Also, their limeaids are really good. This is a great place if you're a vegetarian, however, I think there is always something for everyone here. Side note: If you don't like babies, I wouldn't come here. There are always a shit ton a babies. My friend and I sometimes play a game of 'count the babies.' I'm not that creepy, I promise; we just like to humor ourselves. Gotta go, I'm going to Zoe's.

Great chicken salad, pimiento cheese, decaf hibiscus green tea, Greek quesadilla, fresh fruit, Mediterranean beans,Greek slaw. Love Zoe's Another night in Vestavia, tried the tomato bisque, oatmeal cookie and roasted veggies for the first time and they are delicious--especially loved the bisque!! My husband had chicken salad in a pita for the first time and loved that, too. Host, Reuben was so helpful and personable ;-) Comforting dinner for us on a rainy evening

This is my go to spot for a healthier lunch. I tend to stick with the hummus & salad plate or the chicken kabob plate. They give a nice portion of hummus that usually last me a couple days:) Their pita bread is not my favorite but will do the trick for mopping up the hummus. Another plus is that they have a pick up window, so there is basically no waiting in line for pick up orders. VERY EFFICIENT

Same Zoes that I love all over town, super friendly staff.

Friends brought us a family-sized chicken meal with rice, salad and chicken breasts covered in grilled onions. The salad and rice were great. The chicken was embarrassing - dry, dry, dry and totally overcooked. Unfortunately, that's what we've experienced previously when eating in.

I'm from out of town and originally intended to go to Jinsei Sushi next door for lunch without realizing Jinsei is only open for dinners. Since Zoe's is right next door I popped in for a quick lunch. I loved the deco....all those orange and greens, very breezy and refreshing. The place was packed from inside out, filled to the rim with mostly women, the working type and the "I brunch and shop all day" type. I got the food to go. It was quick and the service people appeared to be friendly. Unfortunately there is nothing I could say about the dish I had: Chicken Kebob. On the menu it had a star next to the name indicating that it is a crowd pleaser. I got two skewers of chicken with cherry tomatoe slices in between the meat pieces. I also got a garden salad with feta cheese, lettuce, onions, and more tomatoes. The salad was alright, nothing special, but it looked and tasted fresh so that was a positive. The chicken on the other hand was bland and overcooked. After I finished my meal I looked for the restaurant online and to my surprise they are a HUGE chain sprawling all over the South. It really surprises me how they can retain customers with such mediocre food.....maybe it is the orange and greens that people like to see when they are eating....[shrug]

Simple, healthy, fast and reasonably priced. I like the chicken roll up, but I've also bought containers of their excellent chicken salad to take home. Their potato salad is great (non-mayo-based). Also try their limeade. The chicken kabob dinner for four was very good. Offered plenty of chicken and rice and salad. You'll have leftovers. Rice was a bit salty though. Otherwise a nice option for a night you don't feel like cooking, but you want something homestyle. This is it. Cons: place is packed at lunchtime.

Refreshingly bright and colorful, Zoe's is a nice option for a quick snack or some quality time spent reading the morning paper on a Saturday afternoon. The sandwiches and sides are all solid options, I didn't see anything on the menu that I wouldn't have given a try. The fresh lime-ade was fantastic, although my decision to pair it with a big slice of chocolate cake was probably ill-advised. Try one or the other, but not both at the same time.
