Great food. However, why isn't there. Baby changing station in the men's restroom? I wanted to change my baby boy, and let my wife enjoy her meal, but couldn't. The food is delicious, but don't cut corners.

Tried this place cause it's the closest bbq to our house. We usually go to Moe's but it's a bit out of the way for us. I generously give this place one star for the spicy bbq sauce and sweet tea. That's being generous. Wow this was a bad bbq experience. Dry brisket, dry & salty ribs, dry pulled pork. You had to dig through the mayo sauce in hopes of finding a potato in the potato salad. The jalapeño beans were just edible. Even the 'free' ice cream had no vanilla flavor- it tasted like straight up sugar. On top of that, portions were small for such high prices. I'm going to hope that maybe it was just a bad day for them today, but we definitely will not return again. Guess we will keep driving to Moe's.

We normally don't eat at a lot of chain restaurants, especially if they sell BBQ. We tried this place on the recommendation of a friend and were pleasantly surprised. We both had pulled pork sandwiches and our friend had a plate that had their cheddar sausage on it, which I may have sampled when he wasn't looking. It was all pretty good and the pork had a nice pink smoke ring. They'll give you a slaw topper, if you ask. There's also onions and pickles for it if you want that. (Yuck!) The sides were good. The baked potato casserole and mac and cheese are my favorites. The mac and cheese is very creamy. They also give out free small ice cream cones with your meal. We went back earlier this week to get some pulled pork to take home. I asked if they could sell us one rib to sample, not as desperately as Chris Rock did in I'm Gonna Get You Sucka, but the guy actually gave us one to sample. Being a born and raised Memphis girl, I really don't eat ribs in Alabama. It seriously pains me to admit that the ribs at this Texas based chain restaurant are the only ribs I've tried in this area that I would actually consider ordering, but I would. Of course, I'm talking about the pork ribs because, as we all know, beef, chicken and fish are "grilled". Pork is BBQ. Just to be clear, the ribs are not as good as the ones back home, but they'll do. I have to admit, the prices are a little steep and the portions aren't big enough to justify it. We'll go back, but probably not often.

Pretty ok BBQ. It's fast to order to go. Their fried okra is probably the best thing on the menu. They fry it fresh to order and it's hot, crunchy and delecious. The bbq itself could use some improvement.

I gave this place two separate chances. It just is not good and certainly not worth the extravagant prices you pay for the diminutive food portions. The meat is cold and dry. The biscuits are nondescript. The jalapeño beans inedible. I wish there was something kind I could add to this review, but even the management is rude. During my last visit, the manager was so rude that it made my meal very uncomfortable. I didn't understand the rudeness either because I wasn't needing anything from them. So, between the cost, small food portions, and unfriendly staff, I won't be back. And that's too bad because I love BBQ, but just never again from here.

Not a normal dickies. The food was COLD. The service was very poor. The girl that checked us out was actually mean. Go somewhere else unless this is the only place left open

Worst place I have EVER been. We went for the first time this afternoon and we were really excited to try another BBQ place in this area. We paid 30 dollars to get a quarter of a brat, and 2 slices of chicken. It came with 2 sides which we had to wait 15 minutes to get our okra after we were finished with the toddler sized meal we had. The bread tastes like cardboard. The chicken was so dry I had to drench it in their bbq sauce. The only good thing about this place was the free ice cream. We were not the only ones who had this complaint either. The man behind us was quite upset about the amount of food as well. I will never be back here again.

This place is a staple in TX where I grew up and it's great to have one nearby now that I live in Bama. I can go in anytime and feel right at home. I had to take two stars off because when I was waiting for my food I saw a woman exit the kitchen with a chihuahua lol it was rush hour. She should've at least gone out the back door but there really shouldn't be a dog in the back where they prepare the food at all.

Food was cold (my bbq beans) and generic potato salad the person slicing meat was sweating everywhere and when I brought in up to the Manger Darryl, was told that it was a hot position. Didn't feel safe attempting to eat the meat. I will not be back and told my friends the same.

I have been waiting for this place to open since the signs were in the window. Great ribs. Always an excellent choice. Free ice cream. Kid's eat free on Sunday. Specials daily, during the week.

Wasn't impressed. Meat was tough and on the cold side. The place is nice and decorated neat, but I would rather go to Moe's.

Went there on Sunday for the second and last time. The first time we got the family meal with two different meats. We got the brisket and the pulled pork. I should have realized that this was a Texas style bbq place and not to order anything but beef. So on the second time we just got 2 things of beef brisket. The brisket was both cold and dry. The jalapeño beans were inedible, but the fried okra was good. I would have still given them one more chance except for the female manager that works there. She went above and beyond to be rude to us on two separate occasions. Her attitude towards us made us feel as if we were an inconvenience to her playing on her cell phone. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a business before. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere, I know we will.

Stopped off here for dinner on our way through Mobile back to Dallas. Dickeys BBQ is all over Texas and is kinda like the McDonald's of bbq here, i.e. You know what your gonna get. However that being said, I dunno who the pit master was for this evening his name was Tim or Ken, anyway he took his job very seriously. He pulled out a cut of of pork from the over and trimmed the fat like a pro. I have never seen a dickeys with a line out the door---so I wasn't sure if they were having issues getting orders, or maybe this is the main BBQ joint in mobile?
