The food was great! The staff were extremely friendly. The portions were great, considering the prices are so reasonable. They got me for dessert... They carry the tray of all the choices out, and I couldn't say no. Their dessert is a must have. Everything was very well made and delicious.

This restaurant is a real gem. The owner, Ingrid, is from a little town near Heidelberg, which is in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. The food reflects that area's cuisine. I really enjoyed the salad. No one makes pickles like the Germans. So glad this restaurant is here!

5 out of 5 (on the Daleville scale). Excellent German food and hands-down the best service in Daleville. Sit in the back (German themed) section of the restaurant if there are seats available.

Ingrid's is a Quant little German restaurant located in the back of a jewelry store right near the entrance to Ft. Rucker. They have pretty standard German fare. We came here for lunch, and the service was very fast and friendly. The food is also, good. Not super authentic, but definitely good for the area. I got the Oktoberfest plate with came with 2 different sausages and my friend got the Jaeger schnitzel. The schnitzel was a bit thin, but tasty. The sausages were pretty standard. I was really hoping for more of a variety of German items. Definitely worth checking out, but dont expect to be taken back to Munich.

Ingrid is a true genuine woman! The castle club and the coffee cake is a must! Make sure you check out the jewelry store in the front before leaving!

I've never had real German food, and Germans always complain that German food in the States is horrible, BUT that being the case I can live in total ignorance and I really get to enjoy the Oktoberfest plate. All of it was nice, BUT I will stay away from their desserts because they look dry. The service was great, the food was good, but the restaurant/store was odd to say the least. If you like "German" food, stop by and I'm sure you'll find something you'll like.

The food is great. My Rahm Schnitzel was pounded a little too thin for my taste but the flavors were great. I'd come again. But keep in mind this is German-American food. its good but the flavors didn't make me miss Germany.

Being stationed in Europe and coming back to the states has definitely given me an appreciation for authentic well made European food. They hit the nail right on the head with everything! I got the Jäger Schnitzel and it was cooked perfectly! I've had this dish at other German restaurants in the states and they either over cook it, fry it too much so that it comes back greasy, or the gravy is too think. This was absolute perfection! The meat was moist with the perfect amount of chew from the breading and the mushroom gravy was the perfect complement, thin enough that it didn't over power the dish, but thick enough so that it coated the schnitzel perfectly. I had that with a side of sauerkraut and was in heaven. My husband ordered the Zweibel Schnitzel and home fries. The potatoes were delicious, we could of made a meal of them all on there own. I didn't get to try a bite of his schnitzel because it was devoured before I could even ask for a taste. The service was wonderful, the restaurant is impeccably clean, and great for groups or just a quiet lunch for two. Ingrid the owner and her husband are warm and inviting people who made us feel like part of the family. We will definitely be coming back over and over again!

Recommended by a native German, my family and I decided to try it. My parents use to live in Germany, so if it was authentic they would know. At first we thought we were at the wrong place because there is a jewelry store inside the restaurant. When u walk in all u see is he jewelry store and then towards the back I then see the restaurants dining area. We met the owner, Ingrid strange, who was an assertively warm and wise German woman that had a story for every heirloom that decorated the walls. She told us that everything on the menu came from her great grandmother's recipes from the early 1800s. The food was absolutely amazing! The brawtwurst was cooked to perfection and the sourkraut was even better than my mom's. Both my parents were brought back to Germany and they began to reminisce. After we ate we visited her jewelry store. Beautiful jewelry and she can custom make jewelry too! Such a great experience!!

If you are craving German food this is the place to go! Don't be fooled by the outside, it looks like a castle/jewelry store which it is but it also contains a small German cafe. The menu is from the Bavarian region of Germany and is as authentic as you'll get in this part of the country. I usually order the shnitzle with potatoes and mushroom sauce, well flavored, filling, and tasty. The owners are from Germany, they are very friendly and helpful and make you feel right at home. This place is a must try!
