I came to Fink's for the first time on a Sunday night with a few friends. We were debating where to eat dinner, and none of us had tried Fink's before, so we settled on it. Boy, what a mistake. The beer selection was ok...a little over priced, but that is what I expected at a craft bar. The first beer I ordered was flat, but I sent it back and received a new one that was pretty tasty. If you are going here solely for the bar, then I would say go for it. It isn't the best atmosphere, but strictly for drinking beer this is a solid choice. The menu here is very limited. There are a few options, a couple burgers, and a few flatbread pizza's. My friends and I decided to each try a different thing on the menu. 3 of my friends ordered the burgers with a side of beer battered fries. The burgers were very mediocre. They were about as thick as a Bubba burger, but came with no vegetables. Literally, it was a patty, some sauce, and the bun. Weird. They all said it was decent. Wait for it.... Instead of the fries the menu said it comes with, the burgers came with a pretzel.....WTF? A pretzel! Like the one you get at a little league game. The waiter said that the owner got a bunch of free pretzels and decided to give those out instead of fries. Who does that? Are you kidding me? I have nothing against pretzels...but not telling someone that it comes with a pretzel instead of fries is strange and bad business. I got a BBQ shrimp pizza. It was very mediocre. I probably could have gone to Kroger, bought $4 worth of ingredients, made a pizza in my crummy college kitchen, and had about the same quality. Instead I paid $12. Whatever. The only redeeming quality was that our waiter Patrick was a cool dude and we all liked him a lot. If they cloned Patrick into about 7 people and let those clones run the restaurant, it would probably be a lot better. Until that happens, I am not coming back.

Our first trip here was great. The place was packed for trivia night but there was no shortage in friendly staff to greet us and try to accommodate us as quickly as possible. The food was yummy and of course a great variety of beer, but the best part was the staff. They were all very helpful and great to talk to.

Fink's is my favorite place in Auburn for casual dinner and drinks and our group goes almost every week. Erin and Patrick are both great. I'm not sure why others have criticized the beer list- the selection is huge, always have a few ciders, and the silos/gustos are great deals. The servers are always willing to recommend beers or offer tastings if you're unsure. And everybody loves train shots!

I must say...I was shocked seeing this restaurant more on the empty side every time I came here with friends because this is the only good thing I have discovered during my chapter in Auburn. Go if you haven't been! A big thank you goes out to this establishment for introducing me to Victory Golden Monkey beer. Also, I favor the Buffalo Soldier burger with the side of fries. Take my word, these are THE best fries you will ever have eaten.

We've been to Finks twice now. Both times my fiancé got the reuben, which is da bomb! I tried a different flat bread each time, which were just ok. Friendly service & fairly good beer selection/prices.

Food was great. Best fries I've ever had. Beer list was IPA heavy and not much else to choose from. Service was absolutely terrible. Got our orders wrong. Left us without drinks for about 10 minutes. Took forever to get our food once it was corrected. And then they tried to double charge us on the bill. I'd go there again just for the fries though.

Great food, huge beer selection and decent service. Idiotic business plan that includes 2 toilets, seating for 150 and a lot if beverages. Even worse when on a football night ladies room is "out of order" after 6 and men's stopped up. Apparently nobody on site cares enough to fix that so chalk it up to inept or absent management. Won't be back.

Last night, my boyfriend and I came into Fink's about an hour before closing. Luckily, the kitchen was still open. Our waitress, Rachel, was really great. She checked to make sure the mac and cheese would be good enough to order that day, and it was. We ordered the bacon bacon pizza and the buffalo ale chicken dip as our appetizers. The pizza was okay; I felt that the flavors didn't really meld which was slightly disappointing because I was really looking forward to the tomato bacon jam. The buffalo dip was a little colder than I liked but my boyfriend said that it might be that they mixed cold cheese with warm chicken dip and so I wasn't so upset about it. The pork belly burger was absolutely delicious. I normally don't care for horseradish, but it helped cut the richness and give a nice bite to the burger. We also ordered the special cueball burger that we both enjoyed. Rachel was an amazing waitress and we really enjoyed her service. We came in today because I couldn't stop thinking about their yummy fries. We had the pub cigars as an appetizer. They were okay for me. I did enjoy the chèvre that was in the cigars. At first, I had ordered the Guiness brat and the boyfriend ordered the bleu bell burger. He changed his mind after the waitress walked away to the reuben and so I walked up to the bar to try and get my waitress to change the order. I couldn't get her attention so the bar manager helped me instead. When the waitress came back, she had the burger and brat in her hands. We explained to her about what happened even though we weren't that upset about the mixup. She brought it up to the manager and he asked the kitchen to make us the reuben anyways free of charge. Needless to say, the service at Fink's is pretty top notch. We met a bartender and another server (Brandon and Patrick) that day that were tremendously helpful to us as well. We will definitely be back.

I'm always surprised when I walk into Finks and not many people are there. The food is delicious and the beer selection, marvelous. Their fries are beer battered and the best I've had around auburn and it's not too terribly pricy. I love the atmosphere and the seating area outside is nice at night.

Great service, staff and food with the best craft beer selection in Auburn. Definitely stop by if you're looking to watch a game in a friendly environment with a brewpub atmosphere while enjoying fine dining and excellent beer. $1 train shots are also a plus.

The service here is the worst I have ever experienced. We were there for an hour and forty minutes before we got food. The server was rude & refused to take our entrée order twice even after we specifically requested that he put it in. My order was wrong & was never corrected. My water & beer was never refilled. Never once did the manager come over to our table to try to fix the situation. We will not be going back to this restaurant again.

We had the worst service here earlier in the summer. It was graduation weekend and it seemed to be everyone's first day of work at Finks. It was also the NHL playoffs and I requested that one of the TVs show the game. - they never turned it on after asking 3 times - To start off, the hostess was completely clueless and looked like she was about to cry anytime someone came in. She had no idea what she was doing. There were so many problems from the server completely neglecting us the whole night - when we saw her talking/laughing behind the bar while our cups were empty, food had problems, needed silver wear, and the check, to her bringing the appetizer AFTER our entrees - even though we ordered it wayyy before our food as we had some beers first -, and when we did get the appetizer the plate and food were burning hot. What does that tell you? That the food had been waiting in the window and she completely forgot. My boyfriends food was served completely cold, we didn't have any silverware and couldn't find the server anywhere. A big table came in while we were waiting on food and I guess our server thought they deserved more attention than us. At one point we couldn't find any servers or even the bartender. We literally had no idea wtf was going on. Then when someone would walk by no one would make eye contact. Finally my boyfriend asks anyone we see for the check and the girl comes running out of nowhere apologizing. Yeah because you forgot about us. My boyfriend and I have worked in restaurants for a long time so we try to be understanding, but if you can't handle two tables at a time maybe you should pick a different job.

I checked out Finks when the wife and kids went out of town. We are new to Auburn and I am a huge craft beer fan, so I figured I would check this place out. I enjoyed it. It was not crazy busy so I had no problem getting a seat at the bar. I had the brat and it was awesome. Beer selection was good. I am a Florida guy so I wouldn't mind seeing some Swamp Head and Darwins beer in the selection. I will definitely go back. I gave it 3 stars, but I am a tough critic, so that is actually a good rating.

Went here Tuesday night for Trivia. I had the Bleu Burger and fries. It was really good. Service was great and the craft beer list had a lot of good choices. Will definitely go back again.

I'm giving all three stars for food. When we walked in, there were 4-5 employees congregated around the host stand. There were only about 4-5 tables taken in the restaurant (it was early) but it took 3 minutes for any of them to acknowledge us. Then another 5 minutes to be seated. Our server did not come to our table for another 8 minutes at least. The food selection was good and everyone was very pleased with their food. We will probably go there again and hope to have a better experience as the food was definitely worth the trip.

I liked this place. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. But twice now they've run a promotion and then told me "sorry, we ran out" and offered me NO substitute. Tonight was such an occasion. I went in to watch the U.S. - Germany women's soccer game. The bartender actually came around from behind the bar and said "if the U.S. scores Blue Moon is a buck". The U.S. Scored, and I said I'll take a Blue Moon. His comment "sorry, the keg floated and that's the end of the promo..." If up don't have enough product to do the promo, don't promote it. It was a very poor move.

This place is awful. Save your money and go to The Hound, Acre, Mellow Mushroom, or basically anywhere but here. Service is terrible (the servers stand behind the bar and chat more than work), food is way over priced and not good at all, and the beer menus boast a large selection when in fact most of it is "out of stock". Our server, Alicia, was more interested in hanging around the bar than keeping our drinks full. I will never step foot in this god awful place again.

I'm a fan, and mainly because Auburn doesn't have anything quite like Fink's. Fink's is also the place that got me started drinking IPA's, and I'll forever be in their gratitude for that. The food is always consistent, and I always get the Reuben. Also, don't forget the Twisted taters appetizer with "awesome sauce." Usually sitting at the bar with friends, and the bartender is usually happy to offer samples of whatever is on tap. Oh, and $1 train shots. (every time a train goes by, $1 shots). Note: They don't serve the usual veggies with their burgers, so you have to ask for it.
