Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Nice to find a great pizza place in this town. The pizza itself was really good. Fresh, crisp and very flavorful! They also served local beers which I really appreciate. I will definitely be coming back here! The only thing I would add as an area for improvement is that when I paid there was no spot to add a tip on the CC receipt. I would have tipped but I didn't have any cash on me.

Here we have the fruits of Soldotna Alaska's oldest pizza parlor. Pizza Boys has been around since I was a wee lad. I remember my Father taking me there to get a slice. A Whole Slice! That's a lot of pizza for a four year old boy, but I was destined for bigger things and bigger pizza! It is the earliest memory I have of enjoying the most significant contribution the Italians ever gave to the world, aside from organized crime. Ironically there is a Godfathers Pizza. Coincidence? I think not! Now the pizza itself does have a few unique factors. The first one being that they layer every topping in a layer of cheese. So for every topping you ask for you get an additional layer of cheese. There has never been a easier way to Clog arteries. Notable feature is their ingredients. They won't reveal to me where they obtain their toppings but I can honestly say I have never had any quite like it. I'm not saying they are amazing. They are good but unique. Now on to what isn't so great about this pizza. (My least favorite part of any review) Ok so I'm going to be blunt and to the point. This pizza is expensive! I honestly cant fathom how they have been in the biz so long with prices so high. Order more than a single topping and prepare that eviction notice for that Jackson in your wallet. I know I said their pizza was unique but you may also have noticed I never said it really stood out. Sure that's a contradiction but nothing about this pizza makes me want to go back for more my reaction is something like this, "Meh...It's Pizza" This is merely one Pizza lovers opinion to another. Go try it yourself I rate this Pizza a 6 out of 10. Evanator out!

Pizza boys has changed dramatically from the dirty delivery joint where workers smoked j's in the freezer (however they might still do this haha). Not only do they offer pizza, but apps, local beer, and even gelato however they get it from Ohio (a fancy city in Italy I'm sure...). I've lived in Soldotna all my life and this place deserves every bit of 4 stars for the renovations alone. The radio commercials almost get it 5 stars ;)

........ordered my "free drink" with an entree, but never got it for free because $30 worth of pizza and salads didn't qualify me. Interesting. Also, half of the items on the menu weren't available because we came in during business hours posted online and the front door (9pm when the joint closes at 10pm). Not impressed, but when you're the only pizza place around, what do you expect?

Great food! We got meatballs and penne, calzone, wings, and krazy cheese sticks. The pasta I got was wonderful! The cheese sticks (pretty much a cheese calzone) tasted really good and the sauce was great too. It was a little spicy for me, but I am extremely sensitive to spice. My husband loved his calzone but he didn't love the wings. They were cooked well but the sauce was lacking, they did have a good sauce on the table to help with that. They were 6 small wings for 9 dollars, which we didn't think they were really worth it. The service was really good and the atmosphere was pretty awesome. It was different from most pizza places. We wish this was in Anchorage so we could go all the time!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
