Small place in a strip mall. Pricey for a take out, dine in pizza joint, but decent. I ordered the "Today's special" which is basically a meat eaters 12 inch for $16.99. Service takes a while. Decor is Italian but run by Korean's and they serve all different types of food including Gyro's, philly steak n cheese, fish and chips. The pizza arrived and it was as advertised. Good crust and a great taste.

Although I have never actually eaten in the restaurant, I cannot say enough about Today's Pizza's delivery service. The employees are incredibly friendly over the phone, and they are so thankful for your business. They remember you after the first time you place an order, let you know how many deliveries are in front of yours, and not only is their time estimation right on target, but the food arrives as fresh as it can be pulled from the oven and driven to your door. We have had: pizza - price great, taste excellent (somehow even better on day 2), burgers - cheese always melted to perfection, pasta - the mushroom alfredo is my favorite & the portion is enough for at least two, and a variety of the appetizers - go for the deep fried mushrooms! The owners are so kind, even if I didn't think their food was great, I would still support their business.

I ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad and based the the picture posted on Yelp and what I got not even close! 1) cost $12.00!! 2) portion compared to photo = deception 3) smallest piece chicken 8 tiny pieces 4) Breaded Chicken! 5) Cesar Salad does not have cabbage, olives, onions, carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes!! 6) they asked what dress I wanted for a Caesar Salad! I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. If you can't make a proper Cesar salad you should close your doors.

Meh. A mediocre place to go within walking distance of the budget motels in the area. They have a good selection but my food wasn't anything special. The staff was nice and they served beer so if you just looking for a place to go get a quick bite to fill you up, this is your place. But if you're looking for a great night out, I would avoid this place.

Such good service and such good pizza! You would never think going into the restaurant (attached to a gas station) that their pizza could rival the best. Their sauce and cheese is top quality and their crust is amazing! I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. Highly recommend!!!!

Stopped by here because my hotel was right across the street. I was surprised that this place is Korean owned, being that I've never been to Alaska before this trip. Anyhow, I ordered the Hawaiian plzza and the hot wings. The hot wings were pretty good. A little sweet with a hint of spice. Could have been a little spicier, but it was still edible. As far as the pizza goes, it was also decent. Crust was crispy enough but a little too deep in my taste. Cheese and toppings were good though. Nice price for pizza.

Korean family owned restaurant that features a menu with a little bit of everything. This place is within the vicinity of my neighborhood, and is open til 2AM on some nights. The garlic chicken pizza is a must! Tender chunks of chicken, bacon, shrooms, real garlic bits, and a oh-so-heavenly flaky butter crust will satisfy any hunger. The service is spotty, which is why I usually opt for take out, or delivery (extra gas charge). I remember ordering one night and being asked what size a large pizza was. Say what?! He was just a boy then, and to his defense, he has gotten way better since. As long as your expectations aren't too high, this place is great for late night takeout.

After a very long day of traveling, everybody in our group was hungry. Our hotel was by the airport and we didn't have a vehicle (since we were only staying the night before our cruise) so we were limited to what was within walking distance. Our selection was very slim. Subway, McDonalds, hotel lobby restaurant (no way) or this small pizza place. Pizza place it was. The only problem, all the kids & not so kids did not want any pizza. Lol. Good thing, they offered a wide variety of Italian dishes. This is a small hole in a wall type restaurant. The interior is old, dark and dated. Oh, Asian owned Italian restaurant? Don't let that deter you from coming. Their food is very good. Their menu is extensive. I had to ask them for some recommendation. Here's what we got. Chicken Parmesan - this was good. The chicken was moist. A little over kill on the melted cheese, but good non the less. It came with a side of spaghetti, which was very good. Fettuccine Alfredo Shrimp - was the winner of the items we got. Baby shrimp in a creamy Alfredo sauce. Delicious Spaghetti w/ Meatballs - they give you a lot of spaghetti. The meatballs were small, but it packs a lot of flavor. My favorite, Antipasto salad - very good. It was lettuce topped with strips of salami, ham, cheese, olives, tomato & pepperoncini. Their vinaigrette was too vinegary (I just used less of it) good dish over all. Tips: They deliver!! They are open from noon to midnight weekdays and from noon to 2 am Friday & Saturday. They have galbi BBQ short rib Who would have expected a good Italian restaurant from an Asian cook in Anchorage. Surprisingly we did. Lol I'll definitely be back

The pizza is decent and one can get shrimp added, which most other pizza joints in Anchorage do not offer. Menu with a lot of variety. Plenty besides pizza to order when not all in the group want pizza. Never had a problem with delivery. Prices a little high, but that's more the norm than the exception in Alaska.

Decent food with a nice selection including moussaka. Prices are fair but this place is not food allergy friendly. Service is ok but it is not everyday you get to eat at an italian and Greek restaurant owned by a Korean family. Very convienent to the airport hotels. Would go back.

Good pizza at a little bit of a high price, but everything here is high I guess. It was good pizza though. It would be nice if they had some place to eat inside. This is take out only so if you are on the road, plan on eating in your car. No complaints!

I love this mom & pop pizza joint :) I had a layover in AK and decided to venture out a bit since I had so much time. I'm pretty sure the crust is homemade and handmade - can't beat that! I can't stand that taste of preserved bread - plus that stuff gives you cancer. Dough has got to be homemade and FRESH from scratch! Trust me, it's worth it. Also, the pizza is new york style... my fav. The hot wings were pretty good too.

When I arrived, I was the only patron in the restaurant. I've eaten there before, so I know it is only a married couple and a son that work there. The lady was wiping down tables and asked me what I'd like to eat. I told her a bacon burger with onion rings and a soda, she says ok and continues on cleaning for another 7 minutes. She then goes to the kitchen and in 2 minutes-brings out my burger. Indicating the burgers are already pre-cooked, which I didnt think was cool..I bit into an onion ring and the outside was hot but the inside was still frozen. I called the owner and told her what happend. I split open another onion ring and she touched the inside and it was also frozen. I told her I was leaving and she became upset. I will never eat there again...

DE-LI-CIOUS!!! I was SOO impressed by the food at Today's Pizza. I was visiting a friend in AK and I had a huge craving for pizza, so she recommended we go here. I was so impressed because I'm from the east coast and it honestly tasted just like New York Style Pizza but in Anchorage. I wish I could relocate the restaurant to Boston so I can go there more often. This place is definitely recommended for those in AK. Try it Today :)

The price is on par with other pizza joints and restaurants in Alaska so I can't complain about that! I've had just about everything on the menu since this place is close to the airport. I love the gyro plate. I love the hot wings those just might be my favorite wings from any place. The spaghetti sub is awesome. I also love the Hawaiian pizza with fresh tomatoes added to it. The place is Korean owned, but honestly just about every other local restaurant in Alaska is Korean owned too. I think the $15 min order for delivery is reasonable as is the $1 delivery fee. Food is excellent!

The pizza is decent (like most other neighborhood pizza joints--nothing super special, but better than any chain; Capri Pizza right across the street has far superior pies), but what keeps me coming back is their unique and creative spaghetti sub. Literally a whole dinner of spaghetti and meatballs baked right inside a calzone crust, this substantial sandwich (half will fill even a habitual over-eater up) is much less bland than you'd expect something that's just noodles and a little sauce to be. Since it's pretty much the closest restaurant to the Anchorage airport, it's also convenient for those of us who work there (although their delivery minimum order and fuel fee seems a touch high for airport deliveries, given that it's less than a five-minute drive to the terminal).

I got their garlic chicken pizza for take away. Korean owned/ran with heavy Greek decor and classic red and white checkered tablecloths. The pizza was okay. It come out and smelt like garlic (great), a hint of onion and other pizza spice. It is a white pizza. It was supposed to have ranch dressing under the cheese, but I didnt see any - maybe it was just a smear (prolly for the best b/c ranch and cheese doesnt sound too good in retrospect). Lots of cheese. Lots of cheese. Big chunks of chicken, lots of them. Interesting dough for pizza. It was more of a flake then a pull. Not a traditional dough, but not exotic (if that makes sense). Got a medium and it could have fed two or three.

I've ordered from Today's Pizza a few times in the past as they are near my house and a local business. My wife doesn't care much for the pizza because the crust does have a pretty 'floury' taste to it. I notice it too, but don't mind it so much. I will typically order from there if she out of town on business. I was turned off by a recent experience though. I had the munchies and the wife was out of town so I put in an order for a couple of pizzas. No problem, they said they'd be done in 15 minutes. I drove over since I live so close, no sense in having them delivered. I notice something right away as I walk in. One of the employees sees me and has this sort of "Oh crap, I forgot" reaction and jumps up and runs into the back. A few minutes later they carry out my pizza boxes. I can smell something burned, but I figured maybe it was something else, they wouldn't actually give me burned pizza, right? Well, I should of checked there because when I got home one of the pizzas was in fact pretty burned. The cheese "bubbles" were all black and had crumbled in and there were black spots in other places. The other pizza wasn't as bad, maybe half of it was edible. I wasn't happy, but not angry. I drove right back and showed them the pizzas. I just wanted new pizza. I didn't ask for them for free and I would have grudgingly waited. The woman that I mentioned earlier pulled up a slice and showed me underneath and said it wasn't burned. Baloney. I saw her reaction when I first came in, and I've eaten their pizza before, I know what it is supposed to be like. It was black and smelled burned. That was it for me and I walked out. Now I have to wait an hour to get pizza from somewhere else. I'm not a fussy eater, but don't tell me my pizza isn't burned when you know it is. I will never order from there again.

3 stars. We just ordered. The guy was patient. I was uncertain. Asked for thin crispy crust. Will update with condition of crust and quality of pizza after complete digestion. Their Pizza was totally acceptable. I enjoyed it fresh, as well as 1 day old. It was a large pepperoni with black olives and mushrooms. The total was $16.25.
